I'm glad I never had to decide about that. The 1300 BTC error with nakowa was bad enough, and luckily didn't end up costing me much; I'm left with 8 investor accounts with negative balances totalling a little over 2 BTC after I rolled back the nakowa bets: -0.97780326 2376 -0.52177427 33234 -0.26096498 33842 -0.14724078 346 -0.05864094 22140 -0.02801511 3262 -0.00672428 3039 -0.00048667 1904 These represent investors who withdrew their profits from nakowa losing his 'fake' 1300 BTC and never redeposited to clear the debt. yes, but even then you offered to refund it with your own money. Nobody (nearly) wanted that obviously and so it didn't come to it. Once again: Thank you for your services, I hope you had as much fun as we players and investors did |

I'm ready to implement the next step to Transparent Forging. Usually I do it silently but this time its consequences will be noticeable, so I'd like to hear feedback of the community.
What I'm planning to do:
1. Disable retargetting (the base target will be set to 100%)
2. Enable Time Warp effect (the first forger in the queue will be allowed to generate the block in 60 seconds, next one - in 75 sec, then 90 sec and so on adding 15 sec every time)
3. Enable penalty (an account that skipped its turn to forge a block will be put out of business for the next 1440 blocks)
4. Enable normalization of forging power (difficulty of blocks will be multiplied by 1'000'000'000/X, where X is total forging power of the system)
#1 is an atavism, we don't really need it if #2 is active.
#2 is for convenience, why should we wait 10-30 minutes if the next forger is already known.
#3 is to incentivize forging, it's also a part of 90% protection.
#4 is necessary for security, coz #3 may "disable" some active forgers.

Hi. Bitfinex is a great service. I am a bit new in this so it is easy to make mistakes. I hope there is an easy solution to this. Having the 2factor identification in Bitfinex, I made a transfer of Bitcoins to another service provider to use Vericoin. The other provider provided an address that was not suitable for bitcoins but for vericoin. Transferring bitcoins to the provided Vericoin address I received a confirmation email that transfer has been authorized. The coins are no longer in my Bitcoin balance on Bitfinex. It says: pending review. So are the coins still in Bitfinex or already with the new service at the new address? How to undo/reverse the last transaction? What to do?
Made a typo in the BTC address field once. It got returned after a while on its own. So just wait a while, if it is not here in a few days just contact email support. Regards |

I admire your patience. He is trolling so hard and you are able to keep calm. I am a bit jealous of this ability hmm i think we are breaking the "law of trolling" here, i can't troll a troll, this is me wasting time, the important part is when real people see the blog and go: "oh right, i see that's how the scam works......." then never invests any wealth in this or its clones. Ok, in this case, thank you for telling me  If you sincerly feel this way, maybe we shouldn't call you a troll, but help you understand, what a "fact" is. Or atleast, how to interpret facts. |
