1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [JEW] Introducing Jewcoin. The most holy cryptocurrency. on: January 11, 2014, 12:16:04 PM
Max supply: 13.3 Million (Same as approximate Jewish Population)

I bet my shoes that the most popular will be jewcoin eater address and it will contain at least one name of any concentrations camp. Sending your jews to any of these address will be "excellent" promotion.

And this coin will get a big community. Very strange community... Big chance to make this coin a reserve currency of Palestina or any fascist country.

Fuck off

1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese people are crazy to buy NET, netcoin. They think NET is the third coin. on: January 11, 2014, 12:09:42 PM
I think you guys need to realize that the Chinese are a powerhouse now.
They have companies the mine gold in WoW. Whole companies devoted to it just so they can cash in on it.
So them buying up CryptoCurrencies should not be surprising. They have the money to do it.
Be smart and hold on to your coins. The price will only go up if they continue to buy them out.

Right on target!

++ if the chinese like one currency it will grow like nothing else on the market
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - 2014] [NOBLE] = NobleCoin = Ticker: [NOBL] on: January 11, 2014, 12:05:38 PM
Be careful that your community doesn't become like the CatCoin community that brought the coin to it's knees after a promising start. So far, NobleCoin's start has been understated. If you join the other coins shouting your name at the top of your voices then you will be pumped and dumped just like the other coins shouting their names at the top of their voices.

You've avoided the hashwhales so far. If you shout too loud they will come en masse and gang rape you. Just be aware of that. Do not let the community bring the coin to it's knees.

1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUR opinion --Which new altcoin is going to make it ? (poll) on: January 10, 2014, 08:37:40 AM
EAC is at least one-eyed between blind fools...

Just decide...

There are many disqualification criterias:

Coins with no future because of no motivation to mine (ridiculously lowering block reward to 0): QQC, VEL (and another, all coins where the reward halves every week or day are dead)

Coins with slow transactions (litecoin clones or artifical "bitcoins" in scrypt): RPC, CAT and similar

Coins with broken retarget (coins which retarget tooo slowly and transaction time gets to infinite): RPC, CAT, all litecoin clones

Coins with stupid or inserious name: COINEE, MEOW, VEL, etc., maybe all memecoins in general

+ non technical criteria like: Coins with no development, Coins with no community...

If you go one point after one, you will notice that there are really not too many coins left...

this made waaay too much sense Smiley agreed

This coin looks like it could be good, just as long as the devs stay active and release all the features they have planned. I did have a minor issue with compiling on Linux, which the devs may want to fix. You need to add the obj directory to /src . But apart from that all seems to be running smoothly.

Yes it could be good with active devs. but the chance to hit a major exchange is not that high right at the moment i think

1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice?? on: January 08, 2014, 05:13:41 PM
I've got about 80% of my relatively small investment (but still hurts to see it vanish!) in altcoins. I'm looking at cryptsy, and it seems like ALL of my coins are tanking! How did I manage to get in at the very TOP of every friggin' coin?? lol

If I get out now, I take what amounts to about a 40-50 percent loss. But I'm afraid if I wait, I'll lose it all.

Yeah I know a lot of you are having the same problem.

Anyone know why the hell so many altcoins are tanking? Or if it is likely to reverse??

Everyone reading.. please vote.. sell, hold, or buy more??

hold and keep reading about the coins you buy
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN – NEW COIN 2014] [NOBLE] = NobleCoin = Ticker: [NOBL] on: January 08, 2014, 05:04:20 PM
It was a fair and honest launch and I doubt any exchanges have been contacted with a bribe unlike a cetain other coin that was released 7 hours ago Smiley

I can't say this surprises me at all...

I have proof that COYE is a scamcoin. I work as a member of the support team for an exchange (I'm not going to mention which one) and this was sent via email about an hour ago to our support system.

We have a huge collection of Coinyecoin (COYE) Would you please put it on your exchange. Also would you be open to letting us list our sell orders first. We would be willing to split some profits with you. Smiley

1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 08, 2014, 11:00:28 AM
that's very funny, just remember that with 270M premined you can HOLD all you want.
it doesn't change the fact that OP STILL holds the majority of this coin.

there ought to be some standards in this community, 2% is outright greedy IMHO.

stop talking about the premine in that negative tone. The dev stated the purpose very clearly:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=379236.msg4194356#msg4194356

Like many others, I have no problem of 2% premine, it is very reasonable, as long as the dev use much of it to promote the value of the coin.

You have no problem that all the EAC miners combined have created less EAC than OP has awarded himself?
stop talking about the premine in that negative tone. ?

Clearly you're either a sock-puppet or moron. Like, unlike or despite many others

Erm we are currently at block 25666 at 10000  EAC  per block  thats 256,660,000+ already mined and that is not including the 2X bonus day where every block yielded 20000 EAC  Roll Eyes
Not to mention that the dev team have been using the premine to promote EAC and pay development bounties.

So you are incorrect and rude , the really ironic thing is you label us supporters "sock puppets" while mindlessly repeating what you read on cryptolife.net without first checking your math or engaging your brain.......

damn right! thanks for the true words!
