1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 17, 2014, 03:34:17 PM
Stupid question about the CUDA install.

Is it a standalone driver?

I am on driver 331.82 and when I look at the driver info I see that I have NVCUDA.DLL that says Nvidia Cuda 6.0.1 driver.

Is this the same as the Cuda 6.0 being referred to in the thread? And if not how can I tell for sure wich version of Cuda I am on?

Thanks

Anyone here in my thread mining not just for fun, but seriously for profit as well?  Having a farm of AMD cards in your garage or basement?

nVidia is looking to get in touch with miners to interview them about their expectations for mining related products.  Just be aware that you would be helping nVidia with your information and not your favorite GPU manufacturer AMD Wink

PM me with a brief summary of what you're mining and how and I can get you in touch.

Haven't been up to date on the thread.

Just wanted to say that I just started mining in January of this year.

I have owned nothing but Nvidia since VooDoo went under. Never had a desire for AMD graphic cards even though I only buy AMD cpu's. I know weird.

BUT seeing how all the talk was AMD for mining I went ahead and took the plunge. I now have 1 R9 280X, 1 R9 270X, 1 R9 270, 2 7850's and 1 R7 250X. The only reason I have these odd ball's is because Fry's can not keep any on the shelf. I don't believe in on line order. I want to walk in a store and walk out with product.

I know these numbers are nothing compared to other people but I am trying to make as much as possible and have actually made all my money back on the cards.

I am all about making as much money as possible now.

(Oh I still have my GTX 670. Keep looking for one more Nvidia to add to the rig with it.)

Anyone still using CandyPool? If so is there a way to set the .bat to reconnect?

I keep getting my miner shutting off and don't want to sit here and resatrt it.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, launches Feb 11, 2014 on: February 14, 2014, 03:26:26 PM

I also had initial disconnect. Reconnected on its own and now everyshare is invalid.

Even if I restart bat, still invalids.
1665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, launches Feb 11, 2014 on: February 14, 2014, 02:56:51 PM

Just A tad bit cheaper than YPool.

That is if YPool is going to keep the normal 5% fee.

Platform 00: AMD Accelerated Parrallel Processing
     Device 00: Oland
     Device 01: Tahiti
     Device 02: Intel Xeon CPU   L5520 @ 2.227 GHz

So far so good.
Add a "-d 2" to the end of your command as a test.  Let it mine long enough to submit 5 shares or so (valid or invalid).  It will be mining with your CPU, so it won't be nearly as fast.
This we help me determine if the issue is hardware or code.

Let me know if it gets any valid shares.

15 shares: valid: 0 invalid: 15

Taking off to work so will try something later if you have an idea.

Also tried running it on the R9280x and the same. Invalids.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MTC] High Performance OpenCL GPU Miner for Metiscoin (Linux + Windows) on: February 11, 2014, 05:37:01 PM

Different user but I get all invalid shares.

My 1 and 2 looks just like what you posted.
Command line is: start /low xptminer.exe -o ypool.net -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -d 0

Just using a R7 250. It went from 2,200 kh/s to 2,500 kh/s.

If you're using an R7 250, your #1 should look different from mine.  Wink
Also, I'm assuming USERNAME and PASSWORD are your worker name and password?

Can you post your device listing?  I'd like to see if the code runs properly on your CPU but not your GPU.
It should look like this:

Code:
Available devices:
Platform 00: Intel(R) OpenCL
  Device 00: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
Platform 01: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing
  Device 01:        Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz

Sorry I can't figure out for the life of me how to insert image.

But user and password was just changed for the post.

gigawatt can u help me fix this:

http://s4.postimg.org/r6amus7rx/image.jpg

its stat of less than 1 minutes with a  7770 on win7 x64
and im getting 0000 shares in ypool with this miner, but it works fine on few more PCs

I can do my best to help.  I'll need three things from you:

1) When you run the miner, what's the first few lines that pop up on screen?  It should look something like this:
Code:
Initing device 0...
Initializing GPU 0

============================================================
Device information for: Cypress
CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE:            1048576 kb
CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_CACHE_SIZE:            0 kb
CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_SIZE:                  32 kb
CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_TYPE:           CL_LOCAL
CL_DEVICE_MAX_WORK_GROUP_SIZE:            256

2) What's the version number that shows when you run the miner?  The newest version should show
Code:
xptMiner (v1.1) + GPU Metiscoin Miner (v0.3gg)

3) What command do you run to launch the miner?

Different user but I get all invalid shares.

My 1 and 2 looks just like what you posted.
Command line is: start /low xptminer.exe -o ypool.net -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -d 0

Just using a R7 250. It went from 2,200 kh/s to 2,500 kh/s.

Well, still crashing or getting low hashrate mining vertcoin...  Cry

UTC crashes after a while as well, might have to lower the oc.

I'm open to suggestions settings wise.

I am only running a 670 but this works for me:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
cudaminer.exe -H 1 -d 0 -i 0 -C2 -l K14x14 -o stratum+tcp://pickaxe.pool.pm:3306 -O user:pass -a scrypt-jane:UltraCoin
pause

What pool are you on also?
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [SCRYPT JANE] UltraCoin (UTC) - Newly Launched on: February 10, 2014, 05:23:28 AM
0.000108 BTC NOW !!!  Cheesy

Is that a mistype?

CoinMarket.io has it as 0.00106

just for giggles can any one tell me how to do the config to solo mine with the windows qt wallet open?
1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 09, 2014, 08:10:59 PM
Is it just me or did smalltimeminer's max pool just shut down and take all my coins with it?

I hope not. I did not much left there. I set all my pools to auto send to wallet in case they do shut down for some reason. It was a good pool for me.
1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: arOpenCLMAX v0.1b - MAX coin OpenCL miner - Works with AMD, NVIDIA XPT on: February 09, 2014, 05:45:17 PM
thanks dude.... just realised this is pointless... what about max.1gh.com and cgminer. cant get it running either -_-

got bfgminer running digital coins now .... any help appreciated !!

Believe me I know your frustration. It took me 1 day and a half to get up and running. Mostly user error. I am no expert at all but hope this helps you.

But I believe this miner is only for YPool and they shut it down. I am using a KeccakCGminer with stratum support, but sorry I don't know where I got it from now. I have downloaded so much stuff the last few days to get going.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit but running this scrypt on a R9 280X but it should get you going, well hopefully. I am using this for SmallTimeMiners and still doing well there for what I have.

cgminer.exe --keccak --no-submit-stale -o stratum+tcp://max.smalltimeminer.com:3355 -u YOURuserNAME -p YOURpassword -I 9

And just in case I missed it where are you trying to mine.

hey guys , have not got this to run on win7 64bit.... have an r9 290 but it only flashes when i click the program..

any one talk me through it please??

gordy!

add "pause", without the quotes, right under your scrypt. It will keep the box open to let you know what is wrong.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 09, 2014, 03:18:28 PM
still the same problem, but thanks for your help

If you have not got it working yet add "pause" without the quote under your scrypt. That will pause the screen and let you see what is wrong
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 08, 2014, 03:25:19 PM
Does anyone know if 1GH is down?

And how can I tell in the future so I don't ask again? Failed to connect means down?

EDIT: Never mind it just connected
1677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 08, 2014, 07:35:34 AM
Is anyone mining ypool with a GTX670 and have it working?

No matter what I try I keep getting "boos". I have the xptProxy open and it is connected to ypool and ypool shows my worker connected.

I am literally at a loss.

I just want to see if someone is connected and running to see if I have something wrong.

cudaminer does not work with ypool for maxcoin. That xptProxy is Scrypt only.

Well I feel like an a$$. Been trying for hours messing with configs to get it going. no woinder I have been getting all boooo's.

So ypool is only cpu's and AMD cards? The two on the first page for maxcoin only works on 1gh?
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: arOpenCLMAX - MAX coin OpenCL miner - Works with AMD, NVIDIA XPT on: February 08, 2014, 06:53:50 AM
I have a R9 280X but everytime I run it I get the "driver stopped responding"

Should I be on a certain driver? Using Windows 7 64bit

Does anyone have a link to an actual GUI wallet and not the dos looking one?

it was up here https://github.com/Max-Coin/clients/releases/tag/1.0, I did the source... but I think they took it down, the conf file needs t obe updated by adding more nodes to help sync up.

Thanks.

I got that one but it was the dos screen and goes off.

I wish they could get a GUI like every other coin.

I know I should learn to run the one they have.
