BlackCoinMiner.com is coming back online TODAY!

Follow us at @BlackCoinMiner on Twitter for updates. This new update of the site now includes better stats, new coins, and a very stable server.

Let's make some BC!!

Once everything has been thoroughly tested, would you be willing to make the code for the multipool available for other members to setup their own pools? I sincerely believe more pools will be better for the community in a whole, and it will definitely help increase and stabilize BlackCoin's price.

For sure, I'll be happy to. I believe the more pools we have, the less stress the main (official) pool will have. Once things are ironed out and the code is clean, it will be up for anyone to download.

That is great news! Depending on demand I might setup a pool to offset the load. I am behind BlackCoin 100% and will help in any way I can.

Yea its crashing, what time does the 100 BTC buy order from the multipool come in?  Cool

Shocked Did the multipool really generate 100 BTC in revenue? If so, how many days did it take to do that?

I don't think it can generate that much in a single day,  at least not until it is fully functional and out of Beta stage.   That pool is so wildly, insanely popular I have no clue how they are making it work.   At one point it had nearly the Nethash as Litecoin I think.   That is truly incredible.   It will crush everything in its path.   I believe no amount of profit-taking or panic selling will stop this juggernaut once its rolling.     How could it?  This is a totally different animal.   Even a small amount of constant buy pressure will always 'force' a rise in value.  Eventually coins will migrate towards long-holders whom are buying on the dips and then there is no stopping the value from increasing.    Once we get through this last group of people that just 'must cash out for 300% profit"  before 10k sat who knows what will happen.   10k?   100k? sats?    You betcha,  I'll see you in hell!

Yea I didn't think it could do it in a day, I figured a few days at least. But 100 BTC even in a few days is not bad. I will definitely point one of my smaller rigs to the pool just to help out. I agree once the pool is up and running the buy pressure will keep the coin rising. That is why I do not understand all this panicking. We have stabilized around 7000, and once the pool is up and running 24/7 who knows how many sat the value will increase.

Panicking from day to day fluctuations will not do you any good. Prices will go up and prices will go down. The point of someone pushing the price down is to incite panicking so people will sell low and they can buy cheap coins. What is funny to me is this happens everyday from one coin to another, and still the same people keep falling for the same trick. Then when the price rises again, those same people complain about how they should not have sold their coins.

David Latapie correctly pointed out that when the multipool is running BlackCoin price rises steadily. However, when the pool is down the price goes down a bit. I am starting to wonder if we had 3 or 4 multipools running 24/7 would BlackCoin's price skyrocket. Because with that many pools buying up coins, it would be very easy to wipe out these fake sell walls.

I do not like accusing anyone without knowing all the details first, but I believe CryptoRush took those coins and tried to blame Rat4.

Here are the IRC logs: http://pastebin.com/CiqGSfXD

1.) They claimed their system double the balance of everyone who had BlackCoins stored on their exchange, and then numerous users withdrew the BlackCoins which caused a deficit.

2.) Later in the IRC log they claimed Rat4 intentionally programmed the wallet to steal people's BlackCoin.

3.) Before all of this occurred there were numerous BlackCoin trades that were insanely higher than the current market price. When everyone realized CryptoRush prices were through the roof, they scrambled to send their BlackCoins to CryptoRush. Several minutes after rush the BTC/BC market was suspended.

4.) Now it seems we have a coordinated dump of BlackCoin. If hundreds or even thousands of people withdrew money that was not their's, why would so many people all of a sudden decide to start dumping BC at the same time. Why not start dumping yesterday or even earlier this morning? Why all of a sudden now multiple people start dumping the coin at once?

Cryptorush claims there was nothing in place to check the balance of it's users and just like that everyone's BC vanished like magic.

You want to know how CryptoRush lost 1.5 million BlackCoins?

Magic!!!

Magic!!!

Funny how they put up multiple BTC fake bids for BC at 100x market value and more just after the fork yesterday morning to sucker people in to sending over their BC!

How did they end up with a total negative balance in their wallet? I mean, the daemon will not send coins it doesn't have. They must have HAD that many coins -- but they're claiming they didn't. They say they only had 68k coins or something, and ended up with a massive negative balance. The client doesn't -- or obviously shouldn't -- allow that to happen. The only way it might happen that I can see would be if the coins were on a bad fork. Right? Forget about logs, all the coins coming out of that wallet should be traceable and invalidated if they were in fact sent due to a bug in the client.

You are correct and they are FOS. I normally do not get "worked up" on a forum, but I am getting tired of these "exchanges" not taking responsibility for their incompetence. It is FUNDAMENTALLY IMPOSSIBLE for people to withdraw more coins than CryptoRush had stored in their wallet(s). You can't just magically generate coins. If the coins are not in the wallet(s) YOU CAN'T GO NEGATIVE. So either CryptoRush had 1.5 million coins stored or they are not telling the truth.

Here is what I replied to their asinine announcement: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529779.msg5891645#msg5891645

+1 What's scary is how few people are pointing this out, amid the "to the moon" and "oh no!" and "panic!" and "don't panic!" It's bizarre that anyone would accept CR's explanation without asking this question...

yeah... no one is buying what cr is selling. what a fucking hack

What is even more despicable is they are trying to strong arm Rat4 into paying them the money they lost. 1 minute of reading the IRC logs prove these guys are unprofessional and highly incompetent.

I will never trade on CryptoRush.

Releasing the chat logs just shows what a joke Cryptorush is, they look like incompetent 5 year olds having a temper tantrum.  This exchange can't even keep BTC working, have lost all the users balances from what 3 or 4 different coins now.  It's hard to believe someone running an exchange can really be that incompetent, almost seems like they are just scamming.  I will be staying far away from Cryptorush.

This guy is part owner of CryptoRush and you wonder why something like this could happen? If after watching this video, and after recent events, you guys still feel comfortable trading on their platform then you should have your head examined.

1.) Stop with the excuses and the finger pointing. Reimburse the users who lost coins and fix your security issues. No one cares how it happened, or whose fault it is, they just want to be reimbursed.
2.) You can't blame the developer for your incompetence. No other Exchange had issues with the fork but you.
3.) You should have turned staking off, but it seems that you were trying to earn some extra BC at your user's expense.
4.) This is not the first time you had an issue with a coin, and in the past you blamed the developer as well.

To everyone who trade cryptocurrencies, no matter what exchange you use, DO NOT store your coins on any exchange for a long period of time. Also, only transfer and trade small amounts at a time. I know it is a hassle but if something like this happens your loss is minimal.

The fact is many of these exchanges are run by incompetent fools who want to get rich quick, but do not have any experience in development, security, or even finance. When something goes wrong they do not have the technical expertise to correct the problem, nor the financial backing to reimburse their clients. So instead of taking the blame, their only recourse is to blame the developer of the coin. Even IF the developer is at fault in this situation, YOU should have had safeguards in place to prevent users from withdrawing more coins than they deposited and/or traded. Any software engineer with more than a month of experience would have had multiple safeguards in place to prevent this from happening. I do not know if you are aware or not, but you just exposed a HUGE security flaw in your system. A hacker can easily manipulate your system and withdraw as many coins as he/she wants.
