You pay to tx not rx.

The pool does the tx; your covered.  It's an expected expenditure.

If the .xls file is small enough you could paste as a code snippet.

Or better yet; upload the file to mega; that way it can be downloaded through a file inspection service easily Wink

You verified a wallet with 13 BTC and looked at wallets with "X" bitcoin in them.   How about verifying all wallets?  I can easily pick a wallet from a search and say I have "X" bitcoin in it.

Exactly.

He needs to sign the message with the wallet(s) that contain the funds.... Why the #@# would you sign a message from a different wallet?

minerjones do you know how shady it seems when you are trying to prove you have enough funds, yet the signature address only contains .232BTC, and a total of 6.3BTC transacted?  How does that signature contain any merit that was originally asked for?   *żdo you see what people are elaborating on now?*
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: iBelink DM11G - 10800mhs - $6750 - clarification - UNMODERATED THREAD on: May 03, 2017, 12:47:57 PM
I saved the best for last:

I AM 100% CERTAIN that your PIGGY BANK DOES NOT HAVE $500,000 in it to cover a fuck up on your end and neither do the other 2 peeps

 I have seen balance with my own eyes

Next offer:

If they post a Signed message from the wallet with enough money to pay for 120 units at full price -- or about $600,000 in Bitcoin and/or Dash then I will close this thread and apologize.

Lots of money at stake, for what is so far: vaporware....  No physical samples shown yet that I have seen.

So this is a completely legitimate response, and an easy way to prove yourselves in the matter.

My .02c

A LOT is being asked on "faith".

XMR is a worth a look, however, you will profit in anything if you power is free.
Is there was any vedio tutorial to setup xmr CPU mining? I tried to start CPU mining with other altcoin but every time I get error this device is not support .... Even I don't know anything about mining
gotta get a miner that's built for the instruction set of the processor;  My guess is you are miss-matching.....

Thanks JK.

re, workers. I'm still a bit miffed why this happens to some miners. I've yet to see any missing or ghost miners hanging around on my wallet address. That table is really a simple query pulling all the entries from the workers db that match the ID for your wallet. And right now, the oldest worker in the db is from GMT: Mon, 01 May 2017 09:08:42 GMT

if it makes any difference;  I dont think its the miner app cause it did it with ccminer 1.7, 1.8 and even alexis78 just the other day.   It's not a super imperative thing, but my friend who has multiple GH of machines;  has trouble ID'ing which one went offline sometimes.  He split the machines up into different accounts just so that if one drops, he can more easily jump on it.... kinda sucks though because it adds to the TX bulk and associated fees.   Ill give him the heads up that you've been looking at it though.
1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][Hash Rentals][Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: May 03, 2017, 03:28:09 AM
do em as the pool reads em.

mBTC/MH/day, per GH for sha256 & blake algos, kSol. for equihash (taken from top right webpage pane)

so if you make 300 sol;  you are .3ksol  so 0.3...

Here's the names added next to the normalizations for my 1070 in my gaming PC:

GTX 1070 FTW DT 8G

x17=7.7Mh
nist5=41.9Mh
x11evo=11.8Mh
sib=1.7Mh
x13=10.3Mh
x14=9.6Mh
x15=8.2Mh
x11=12.1Mh
qubit=18.5Mh
lyra2v2=37.2Mh
blakecoin=4.1Mh
blake2s=1.7Gh
neoscrypt=0.922Mh
decred=2.2Gh
skein=400.0Mh
lbry=270.0Mh
c11=12.74Mh
groestl=37.1Mh
quark=18.4Mh
keccak=550.0Mh
myr-gr=55.9Mh

When doing cpu based coins, I always did it the same so you get numbers like 0.0023 and 0.00087.  As long as they are relative to each other (in this case by GH/sec or MH/sec... then you are good to go.

If you normalizes blake as Mh/s... you would end up with:
blake2s=17000.0;  which is totally not correct since the pool calcs it via GH =)

*edit* in my sig links, you can also find step by step instructions on how to find the actual normalization numbers (hashrates) of each algo on your own card/miner.

Glad to help sir.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][Hash Rentals][Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: May 03, 2017, 03:16:02 AM
There's a new addition to my miner tools.

Put it together for a member here;  whom of course;  never came through with the reward.... I think because he wanted it to have malware like properties (able to launch as a service without any admin rights on any machines)....  Not something I'll do for people....   but I did manage to easily accomplish what he originally wanted to happen... sooooo....

Here it is advertised for everyone to use freely.  I'm not expecting anything but it to be used =)

New silent miner launch via batch.  You can launch your batch file silently (no userland windows) and the batch in turn launches the miner app in the background outside of the userland as well.  Good for silent background instances.

Relies on a one lined .vbs file, which is mind numbingly simple.

It's in the batch link in my sig.  Enjoy guys =)
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][Hash Rentals][Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ on: May 03, 2017, 02:59:53 AM

It does not appear to be switching.

Also, is there a formula for calculating the profitability numbers

I see scrypt is reference at 1. XXX below , is it a ratio of what my actual scrypt hash is to skein?

Code:

SET PASS=RIG02,c=BTC,skein=XXX,blake2s,nist5,c11,lyra2v2,stats
:start
ECHO multi-algo Switch....
ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a skein -i 26 -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a blake2s -i 31 -o stratum+tcp://blake2s.mine.zpool.ca:5766 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a nist5 -i 20 -o stratum+tcp://nist5.mine.zpool.ca:3833 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a c11 -i 21 -o stratum+tcp://c11.mine.zpool.ca:3573 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a lyra2v2 -i 21 -o stratum+tcp://lyra2v2.mine.zpool.ca:4533 -u %ADDY% -p %PASS%
GOTO start

Its fun seeing my code snippetts everywhere XD

your batch has no normalization in it whatsoever;  you have to do it for all algos that you have in your batch, not just one as a reference;  as crackfoo explained, poolside they are all treated as one;  which is smart as there is a HUGE difference between nvidia and AMD miner hashrates.... it caused quite a bit of confusion for people in the past.

Check the link in my sig for the batch;  there's a link to the original batch post as well in that post...  In those should be a link to some normalization values I have run myself  and lots of good info;  Just pick a normalization that's close to the caliber of your card you are using.  For instance if you have a 970, you could use my 960 or 980 numbers, not the 1070 numbers... etc.  *edit* just looked, its directly in my sigs link, not 2 links deep.

once all of the algos have an "equals" value assigned to them, you will see the profit switching more where it should be.

Thinking about it now;  I should double check that I have at least some sort of normalization forced in my batch posted presently;  which I think is true... gonna double check just to be sure =)  I think I posted it before the change on poolside to 1 happened.  I checked, its good.  Notes at bottom of batch as to what normalization it has.

ME personally;  It wouldn't be bad if an early model BF with external voltage control is offered;  I'd still pick em up =)

In the whole scope of things;  I am wanting to hold out for the pods;  I am not a fan of a million smaller USB devices... Its just in the past, it seems there's too much micro managing them.

Any chance on narrowing down why the pool no longer displays connected miner info after they have long uptimes?

http://zpool.ca/?address=1kLsGT9egk3utSKZH46ydTbKj5oMnmBoN This one shows one miner;  but the total hashrate clearely shows the extra 1.1Gh..

http://zpool.ca/?address=1PHSDYvVp6HpqtuUPocK41DrdeHbbezaeP One of my machines in SF is 24/7 uptime in a remote spot;  I never know if it goes down because I can't go reset at a whim (too far to drive)...  I only know if its online by turning the rest of this account's miners off and watching the hashrate plummet and stay at the expected value.

I don't remember this being an issue ~8 mo ago.... so yeah.  I know it's a tough one to track down.
1672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 7 GPU Nvidia Rig on: May 02, 2017, 09:25:16 PM
7 GPU use is a bios or sometimes driver limitation;  not an OS.... keep that in mind =)

Phil, Saw this.... is this legit?
I see that you have inquired for a unit.
Looks like its Panda clone.
I email asiabtc if I could buy only the motherboard but no reply yet.

I actually looked at the PCIE bus splitter chips.  Ill be throwing a datasheet at my father to see if he would be interested in a retirement project (he's designed mostly RF, like missile guidance, GPS, VOIP hardware, etc).

It seems pretty simple via the datasheet;  the hard part is the R&D;  making the prototypes and etc with no special gear at all....

Just FYI;  lightningasic is less than stellar with support (the wiibox firmware comes to mind for instance) so I hope they fix their old ways....

There are much more profitable coins/algos out there.....  check my post history.  I've said it a million times, and several have seen the results I speak of.

Don't follow what others say, do the math yourself on the spot and you'd be surprised at what is more profitable.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help please? LKTEC usb miners on: May 02, 2017, 07:30:25 AM
Look at lkcontrollers configure files.

See how they build the miner app launch string.

Create batch file.  Launch miner via batch file.

Do not use their 3rd party app.  It's garbage.
1676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to mine anything with a Geforce 9600 GT? on: May 01, 2017, 11:37:04 PM
Thanks for the replies, everyone.  You saved me from making even more wasted effort!

I am still bugged that it is running on nicehash with the old ccminer version but someone I am not getting credit.

ccminer21.exe  --algo=nist5 -o stratum+tcp://nist5.usa.nicehash.com:3340 -u [address] -p p=0 --diff 50 --debug

It looks to be doing something but at the very beginning it says "Failed to get stratum session id".  Just for my own knowledge if I run into this problem in the future on a different video card, is this likely the cause of the problem of not getting credit for the work?

This is a sample of it running.  Are the hashes rates phony or is this actually doing anything?
http://imgur.com/MJ6nioP

you wont get credit till it finds valid shares and submits them... which would take quite some time.

I had a stickminer solo mining BTC, and it never ever reported one share;  but was mining nonetheless.

Having a bit of trouble with a 1080 on an AMD 990FX mobo.  The 1080 Nvidia card is Dell branded, if that matters, not "retail".  My 1070 Zotac works just fine in this machine.

The machine will not even post if the 1080 is the only card.  If it is a secondary card, it is not detected by windows 10.  If I put the card in an Intel-based motherboard, all is well.

Any ideas?  I really want to keep it in the rig it is in, but I'm not having much luck.

I know it sounds stupid for me to say this, but try a clean install and download of the driver for the 1080 specifically.  Ive noticed going backwards isnt bad, going up in generations (driver wise) is....
1678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NemosMiner-v1.7.1 multi algo profit switching NVIDIA miner for MPH & ZPOOL on: May 01, 2017, 04:47:20 AM
I would like to understand how it knows which one to connect to and when to disconnect.

Is there a time limit? time min? thanks
It's poolside control.   It's as fast as your batch can reach the next algo the pool wants you on.... in simplest terms.  But; a full explanation is in here too.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to mine anything with a Geforce 9600 GT? on: May 01, 2017, 04:43:16 AM
I looked on nvidias site and it didn't list any cuda cores;  I could be wrong.

I scrapped the same card (or was it a 9800?) because the Quattro I have spare is better than it was, and I couldn't find a compatible miner app for algos I currently run and are profitable.   Hash per watt is still a thing for me even though I get free power.

I don't deal with trying to sell such an old antiquated piece of hardware tbh.  Not worth the $18 max profit I could make.   I'd rather easily throw it in a stockpot and put it towards retirement Smiley.  I may be frugal, but I have my limits.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to mine anything with a Geforce 9600 GT? on: May 01, 2017, 04:08:24 AM
You need a miner that works with your driver.

The 9800gt has no cuda cores, so newer miner apps won't be able to properly use your card.

Look for legacy miner versions and go from there.

I'll say this now: there is no profit in that card, even at free electric.  I snap the edge connectors, ceramic caps and dies off those cards for metal recovery and toss the rest.
