No video... I'm guessing this is a run by scam?
If i make a fancy video will you spent thousands for orders? I am curious. Video means absolutely nothing for me personally.

With 880mV i get a little over 42GH/s. Doesn't seem to get too hot on any part, which is nice. I suppose the --hexminer-option is like 16:540? I'll tune it more tomorrow, for now i'l just let it mine.
Yes that is correct. Try it with 900 mV if you want of course for 45 gh

Yeah, i downloaded the latest patch from that url for cgminer 3.8.1 source. The patch seems to go through without skipping any chunks, but configure doesn't seems to recognize --enable-hexminerb. I modified config.h and added #define USE_HEXMINERB 1 manually, now he build seems to compile more stuff.
I downloaded the windows sw, but i would need to reboot with driver signature check off to install the hex16 driver. Also i would very much like to use rpi to control the miner.
You are doing OK but start with ./autogen.sh --enable- whatever you want Yes that was it, got it running . Now it's mining a tad below 40GH/s on average, the 5s average goes up and down a bit. I think i'll let it run for a while and see how it work. Maybe some voltage tuning later on... Super best results clock 540 voltage 903 and you will have 45 gh Wait a bit it will level

Ah, it seems i need the specific git commit for the patch to work. And to run autocon, autogen etc. Retry #37...
You may go a couple of commits forward some small memleaks fixed patch will be OK I guess. Look for rejects fuzz is ok Make sure you red the change log espesialy usbpoll stuff. In general you are OK for hex but mixing cgminer build with other miners may not be a good idea because they might not work.

Welcome back BKK

After run for 2 days, something happen with rev 0.0.7. I only had 2 HEX16A. All is good That is due to hotplug USB disconnect / reconnect events. In old versions they were hidden. Keep mining and do not pay attention to it:) In old versions OFF line was not shown Check dmesg or logread and you will see when USB was disconnected reconnected. Best PS: If you are in doubt please do your paid hash rate calc as suggested by kano https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg3358609#msg3358609An you will see that all is good

140GH/s 494watt @ 120v
All things considered, that is not very good for a Gen2 :/ Not very good at all considering that for that power consumption you can have 500+ GH with bitfury chips. What I wish someone would do is build a clone of the Avalon blade but with bitfury chips. Naturally there would be considerable technical challenges with this (such as the fact that bitfury chips use a SPI bus, etc) but it would be a shame to waste the avalon chassis. Hey, you could easily run 10 Fury boards HEX16B with single tplink giving you 450 GH.

Beautiful Nice review. Thank you!

Wow, this is great, with openwrt image 0.0.7, memory usage of cgminer had been constant on 128% & not increasing Link TL-MR3020_rev_0.0.7And a lot more "hidden" improvements This one never stops

I would like to see some actual customer screens while mining.
This is the first ASIC chips that I have seen without any hardware errors at all.
Read the Changelog dude In current code they are not counted. Hash rate is real though. The changelog. Is that on this page anywhere. If so, then I missed it. If not, then it was a good question....."dude". Excuse me Miss/Mister "AbiTxGroup". I have to work on my manners obviously. The changelog: http://technobit.eu/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=24Actually i am mistaken this is not written inside but if you want please check: http://technobit.eu/index.php?controller=attachment&id_attachment=23Especially around line 1015 Have a nice day Miss/Mister "AbiTxGroup" PS: In fact i am paying for HASH rate and i do not care about HW error rate as long as i get what i have paid for. What about you AbiTxGroup? And more over with little bit overvoltage - about 910 Mv it is working at 45GH stable with Unknown/0% error rate

Hi marto, with cgminer version 3.6.4 i use ./configure --enable-hexminer
Now there is HEXMINERA, HEXMINERB & HEXMINERC. Should i use ./configure --enable-hexminera --enable-hexminerb --enable-hexminerc or only --enable-hexminer?
If you have only HEXA use --enable-hexminera, if you have both A and B --enable-hexminera --enable-hexminerb and finally if you happen to have C - Avalon2 --enable-hexminerc. Make sure you that you are not using other miners because usb-pooling is disabled and they most probably will not work. Read the chanlog

Guys There is cgminer update posted on Marto's site. It works great for me I would like very much to hear your update in case you are using it with tplink
Memory usage 114% now(before is 155%), there is LED configuration now Hash rate still same And screen is working

sweet. I'll do litte review and testing Does it use the same driver as the HEX16A did? If so i guess the TL-MR3020 will support them? Yes it will. + AVALON2 boards also

I was keep getting "screen is terminating" when on cgminer screen under openwrt which restart cgminer. Any idea why since linux not my alley.
That is a bug in cgminer monitor script the screens when yo watch it are two o will post a fix later. Just stop cron while you at watching it..then start it again

cgminer updated from version 3.5.1 to 3.6.1 Do you have some issues with hex and cgminer? any updete so far ? and request to compile with --enable-bflsc option please Simple and clean 1. Download openwrt Patch cgminer if you want hex support of course Compile Does it sound too hard? It is a simple request right? Besides I am curious what bfl has in common with hex? Why are you posting this here at all? Option 2 pay for it to someone to do it for you if no one is wiling to do it for free. People time investment usaly costs money as we all know. Do you think so? The free lunch does not exist

I will do as suggested. I do have HEX16A. And i am playing with them for the moment
I will let you know if i find out what happens related to your code as long hex16 is not pushed to your git ...
Ah in that case, make sure your report your bug to the hex16 maintainer, not me since it's not cgminer code. Con, I will try to filter out bugs and report the ones which are related to your code only
