1661  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is all this new trading volume coming from? on: May 17, 2017, 02:43:41 AM
Bitcoin 24 hr volume exceeded $1 billion in 24 hrs last week (with the entire crypto market exceeded well over $2 billion). Thats like a 10 time increase over the last few months. At first I thought it was just pumpers going crazy but now it seems like an established trend.

Where is it all coming from?

What will the volume be like in 6 months?
It comes from japan in my opinion, japan has always been interest in the technology but after Mt Gox they seem to lost enthusiasm, but it seems they are ready to be back in the game and with the Japanese government recognizing bitcoin then the chances this is true growth is very big.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: May 17, 2017, 02:40:06 AM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
At the moment there is no way for bitcoin to die, someone is always going to keep using bitcoin, the legality of bitcoin seems to be leaning to bitcoin being considered a legal currency rather than the opposite and there does not seem any technology is going to overtake it anytime soon.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 17, 2017, 02:31:38 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
Indeed, being advertise the bitcoin in television will be helpful on attracting more people to use bitcoin. However, it will cost expensive to advertise it. If bitcoin is being advertise it will become pupular and yet it will be legalize in many countries.
ye it cost much to advertise then who like to advertise the bitcoin? well it is ok if the owner of bitcoin would advertise then the bitcoin will additionaly increase.

Yes you are right however nothing is impossible for bitcoin users especially if she/he has a enough money. Since bitcoin has a high value now and if you have enough funds you could just use it to advertise bitcoin. Being popular would be helpul to attract more users.
Unless you had a huge amount of coins and a huge amount of fiat too I don’t see the point of trying that strategy in bitcoin, and even if you did have a lot of fiat wouldn't be better to just use that money to buy even more bitcoin and wait for the price increase?
1664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: May 17, 2017, 02:24:11 AM
There is actually no use people are dumb. Normally if you see a dice bot the person who is selling it shows the proof that how much he was able to earn from this bot , but of course most of these proofs are surely fake and just for getting sales. If you ever get a thought that these bots will help you win forget it.
Only a dishonest dice bot seller would do that, most bot creators are honest about what we can expect from their bots, the bots help you play faster and to use a strategy like martingale but they are very clear that the bot does not bring earnings.
1665  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: May 17, 2017, 02:20:12 AM
yes all depends on bitcoin users. bitcoin used more and more in this life then the better the future of bitcoin in the world. bitcoin depends on the strength of people in this world.
I gotta say now there are so many peopla using bitcoins from different countries. Different people, different users, diifferent strategies and ideas how they used and manage their own bitcoins. I can see that someday in the future bitcoin will be really succesful because of it's users.
It is true that a lot of countries especially big ones happens to be recognizing and legalizing Bitcoin but can it cope up with the demands like what we are facing now which there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions happening. If this issue is solved and upgrade the services it offers then it is in no doibt that Bitcoin's future is bright ahead.

Without the transactions confirmation delay issue solved it's worthless to have many people using BTCs. The experience when using it won't be positive and Bitcoin can have negative feedbacks from many users, it's not good for the future of Bitcoin. Better to stay with the currently amount of users for now and when this problem be solved, the mass adoption can start without worries.
The problem is that bitcoin is not a product in the traditional sense, when you cannot meet the demand of the public you can suspend your ads, build more factories and stuff like that but we cannot do anything like that with bitcoin, if people start to adopt bitcoin there is nothing to do to stop them.
1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Macron supporting bitcoin? what does it mean for us? on: May 16, 2017, 02:38:08 AM
He's just won the election and ledger is based in Paris put two on two maybe they funded his campaign and in return he did this stunt? Or after Japan he is already considering a legal law for Bitcoins. It will be interesting to see if he actually does it, he says it's a new start, people need support and he wants to kick start things. By making a law for Bitcoins, he can earn good revenue from the taxes and also make a name for taking bold decision, however till he give more clues about his intention, let's wait and watch and pray for the best.
If they did it then this was a smart move, it could also be just a show of support to a French business, since there is a new wave of nationalism in Europe, so it may seem a good idea from his perspective to try to support local businesses.
1667  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowhere to Hide: IMF Advocates a Cashless World on: May 16, 2017, 02:35:06 AM
In the 21st century, cashless world is here whether we like it or not and the teeming population especially those who have the little ability of using the internet couple with affordable smart phones would continue to embrace it because it makes our life easier. Even the bitcoin we have today, majority of us don't have the physical coin rather the e-bitcoin so its not a bad thing but rather a development in the right direction for everyone to tap into.
A true cashless society would be one where people wouldn't even be allowed to use cash for anything, so it's still not here.
I really don't see how that could even work 100% of the time, cash is still needed for some people.

What do you mean by saying that people do not have 'the physical coin' (Bitcoin?)?
I think a society where no cash is used at all is impossible but we could argue that a cashless society is one where most of the transactions are not done with cash and you will see that most first world countries societies already fit that description.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next $10 Billion Blockchain? on: May 16, 2017, 02:29:52 AM
I'm surprised that nem is leading the voting here

But NEM founder has a lot of sockpuppet for voting. Can't people remember?  Cheesy
People are hyped about the recent growth in the coin nothing more, personally I think Ethereum or LTC are the ones that got the biggest chance but to each his own.
1669  Other / Off-topic / Re: UEFA Champions League Final 2017 >>> on: May 16, 2017, 02:21:01 AM
I think the Juventus will be able to lead the match in the direction they like best so I think it is going to be a though match that the Juventus is going to win 1-0.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: May 14, 2017, 03:08:51 AM
Advertising bitcoin on TV ,in my opinion ,would really work, because its popularity has not yet entered the masses. But such advertising would not like any government.
Bitcoin does not seem to need this kind of advertising, I have never seen the pricier stocks advertising themselves in television and saying, invest in our product, bitcoin does not need that, have you seen the price lately? That is the best way to advertise bitcoin.
1671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we expect "average Joe" to remember passphrases to his Bitcoins? on: May 14, 2017, 03:05:23 AM
using a secure password manager app either on desktop or mobile can be helpful. that way you just have to remember ONE master password.
there are loads out there that are either free or have very low fees.
also you should always backup with two factor authentification!

Yep, password managers are definitely the way to go. KeePass is a great free option if someone is looking for one. You should never reuse passwords and password managers are the way to achieve that.
Yes passwords manager are a great way to manage and create strong password that protects our funds, Keepass is a great option but there are some other software that offers greater integration in the web browser for those lazy users that don’t want to lose a single second opening the program in the desktop.
1672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: May 14, 2017, 03:01:07 AM
I haven't use any bot in any dice site but the only reason I think is maybe those dicers are very busy. And even they don't have time to dice they don't wanted to be missing in action, so as a solution for that situation they are using just for continuous dicing.

that's the main reason. They usually buy that bot  and use it while they work or do something at home, they set it up and then start it, and most of people that use bot use martingale strategy.

Anyway, if you want to try how these bots works, you can go to any dice site that have auto bet system - it is not as good as bot that you can buy, but it will let you understand why these bots are good ( or bad)

I could understand if someone were to use a bot to help him speed up some parts of the game, but to use a bot to replace you completely? That does not make a lot of sense, wait until you have the time to play that way you at least can get some fun out of gambling, by letting the bot to play for you the only thing you are going to get are losses.
1673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin surges above $1,500 - CNBC POST on: May 14, 2017, 02:57:12 AM
it is always good that media is covering bitcoin in a positive manner. and that always helps with adoption and getting more people in. but at the same time it is a little bit scary in my opinion because any new person that comes in would be investing after the rise. and they will surely see the price drop AKA correction side of it and at first it may scare some away.

We needed this kind of media attention to gather more individual getting into bitcoin ecosystem. So that mass adoption will be gain not only bitcoin but other crypto currency as well.

Regarding the current price, I stop looking at price because I know that it will continue to increase as the day passes by.  Grin. As I said better, I initially thought that this is a bubble waiting to burst. But as I have learned, it doesn't look it is because the price is only rising slowly as compared to 2013 that the price rose very fast and crash so hard that someone predicted that bitcoin is already dead. Japan adopting bitcoin really makes the difference now and imagine if other like India and Russia following in the footsteps.
We must not get overconfident when it comes to the price, we need to be aware that the price can decrease at any moment and there is no point in losing money just because you are just being inattentive, especially if you have most of your money invested in bitcoin.
1674  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: May 14, 2017, 02:54:30 AM
Future of Bitcoin Economics depends on mass adoption of Bitcoin. No body can predict accurately the true future of Bitcoin.
Yeah your right we don't know what will happen with bitcoin in the future but im sure more adoption will come with bitcoin we can not predict how much the price of bitcoin because many people are still afraid using bitcoin.. but many stores right now are accepting bitcoin as payment..
So i think bitcoin has a great future..
Yes your right the bitcoin has a great future because many use it for other transaction. Since bitcoin is a great market trading it will become more popular because you can earn a profit with the use of bitcoin.

Business man use it for as investment or use it for online payment but the question is how about others that are  not familiar with this? people who have no idea regarding the society of bitcoin? I think they want to earn money buy their own strategy and bitcoin will never to introduced.

And who want to earn money using an internet, they search what other job will be possible to make a profit, and bitcoin maybe one thing to need introduced. They need enough knowledge  to more know about bitcoin so that more people want to discover the benefits of bitcoin in the future.

I think that the large part of trading in the future will happen between the altcoins.
They are a way bigger object of speculation than bitcoin is.
Bitcoin will be mainly used as long term investment and a way to get fiat inand out of the trading system.
Unfortunatelly the real benefit of bitcoin, its acceptance of a global payment system, will lose more and more attention.
Bitcoin can already be exchanged for dollars or most of the currencies of the world so there is enough adoption so you can do almost anything you want, the dream of using bitcoin for everything is that a dream, bitcoin will thrive but will not be used for every single thing as some may like to think.
You do not know what will happen in the future, much better to have a dream to bitcoin that can be use in everything in the future all of us ill be benefited of that.
And also bitcoin now have not enough adoption that is why thia is not totally more popular like here in my country there are still more people do not know bitcoin than people who really know and using it already.
Mistake, we cannot use a tool for every single thing, the confirmation time for bitcoin is too slow at the moment and it does not seems it is going to improve, that will be a factor that will not allow bitcoin to be used for everything like buying groceries in the store.
1675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next $10 Billion Blockchain? on: May 12, 2017, 01:55:34 AM
Over $25 Billion in the last 30 Days went to Cryptocurrencies. Marketcap is now above 51 billion usd up from 25 just a month ago and experts say it aint no bubble and it is natural growth!  When we will see Eth or Ripple at 10 billion marketcap? What other blockchain projects are candidates for 10 000 000 000 + marketcap?

the whole marketcap is still very low, if you compare to stocks and forex, crypto is way behind in terms of money invested, this need time to mature, i think ETH will be the next one, it's the only one that is already very near to reach 10 billions, litecoin is far away need to be x6 or 0.1 btc to have that marketcap, but if bitcoin go even higher they might reach the 10 billions cap much early, it depend on bitcoin
If you think the market cap is still very low compared to those markets then even better since this means this is the thought time to invest in all those cryptocurrencies since the market it is still very young.
1676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Had a Dream Aliens Brought Us Bitcoin to Save Our Monetary System on: May 12, 2017, 01:51:41 AM
Maybe this is the reason why until now no one can tell who is the real satoshi nakamoto this is because he is an alien interesting  fact.. Lol..
Maybe he came from the future and created bitcoin to be ultra rich not in this time but in the future. Smiley
1677  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowhere to Hide: IMF Advocates a Cashless World on: May 12, 2017, 01:43:01 AM
In the current pseudo fractional reserve banking system, a cashless world is completely impractical.  The global banking system has already suffered a couple of big wobbles - in 1929 and 2008 - and who knows what will have happened a couple of hundred years from now considering that the banking system is solely based on debt and represents no value.  Existing money is only based on previous fake money and it goes on and on until exponential growth stops, which it inevitably will.

More trust in banks is completely stupid since you'd have to trust a private company to have the money for you.

A person needs to control their own money, and a "cashless world" as they would want it doesn't give anyone control but governments and banks.

Governments control cash too, the only difference is that a completely cashless society will make them even more powerful since they could have the possibility of freezing all your money and you will be unable to buy anything, but if a cashless society happens thanks to bitcoin or something similar then that could be a good thing since no one will have the power to freeze your bitcoins.
1678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: May 09, 2017, 01:21:32 AM
Definitely we can guess about our lucky day when we get anything good surprisingly and suddenly. For example, when i start to play gambling and suddenly i win than i call it is my lucky day because i get a money, and if i get lose than no doubt it is not my day. But I always say that words whenever i win in gambling.
Getting to know whether that day was or not your lucky day after you have made your bets is not a useful way to know if its your lucky day, because if it is not then you already lost money and if it is then you were unable to try to maximize your profits in any way.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone NOT made profit in this astonishing bull run?? on: May 09, 2017, 01:16:56 AM
HODL. Cryptocurrencies are so useful, that only $30 bln part of global financial market is a joke

This. Sure, we will have issues, drama, politics, manipulation but eventually none of the should matter.
Bitcoin and others popular crypto currencies has face alot of opposition from beginning and now is the best time to take a second look on what is happening. If we keep on deceiving ourselves that the current upward movement is political, pump and manipulation and began to think that price will fell against like what happened in 2013 then better check our brains. Thank God for the current outbreak of price.
If you feel that the story is repeating then this is the perfect moment for you to get out of bitcoin and get profits by doing so, and if you still believe in bitcoin then you could buy for cheap and then wait for the next bubble since it is a sure thing there are going to be more bubbles.
1680  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: May 09, 2017, 01:12:34 AM
Being rich with bitcoin is not a silly pipedream anymore as the price continues to soar and break all time highs. If you have been holding even 10 bitcoins when the price was still at $200, you would have made over six times that amount right now. That kind of growth is hard to come by in any other kind of investment, even the ones with the highest risks involved.

Along with the growth of the bitcoin price, everything else is growing. So it will not be very good to get rich, you can only earn a little.
That's a weird statement...

First of all, not everything else is growing, some, if not most traditional fiat currencies are losing value. Other stocks or commodities that are growing are just not growing as fast as bitcoin, so that's something you left out.

Even an average person could still get rich with Bitcoin, just invest 10 to 50k and sell after another 500$ price increase. I doubt that it would take more than a year.
This is what some people don’t take in to account, stocks can grow and give you profits, but nothing is growing like crypto right now, you can earn a lot by just holding, someone that bought 10k worth of bitcoin when it was worth 200 dollars some years ago bought 50BTC, by that investment he could get 80k if he sell his bitcoin right now.
