What are you actually trying to achieve in this? To be able to get to a new rank, you must be logged in within a two-week time frame and post enough to get activity. I bet you're familiar with the ranking and activity system here in BTT so it wouldn't be that hard to figure that hard. However, I'm still confused on what you're really trying to achieve in this.  Huh
16622  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to store your Bitcoin in a safe way? on: December 13, 2014, 11:48:38 AM
Safest way so far: make a paper wallet, print multiple copies, laminate one of those copies, store in a safe place, then poof! Your btc is now safe. Smiley
No need for any hassles or anything, but if you want that extra effort, then do some of those time-consuming yet safe methods. Cheesy
16623  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Check The Balance....... on: December 08, 2014, 03:41:50 PM
Just simply copy the address and search it on the blockchain. Smiley
Do it like this:

16624  Economy / Economics / Re: how to arbitrage well ? on: December 08, 2014, 03:39:09 PM
You really need to have plenty of assets and time to arbitrage "well." You also need to find exchanges that offers little exchange fees in order to be succesful in this field. You also need to have patience and be alert because the price at the exchanges is very volatile; it changes so fast that missing one opportunity will cause a lot of regrets on your side. Smiley
16625  Economy / Economics / Re: USA is now number 2 on: December 08, 2014, 03:34:25 PM
I'm not surprised though. The Chinese economy is very aggresive in the past years. Seeing that they surpassed US in terms of economic development is not surprising at all.

Congrats China. You're truly a giant.

16630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will bitcoins price increse when theres none left to mine? on: November 17, 2014, 03:06:03 PM
When there is none left to mine, only a few miners would keep on mining to move transactions in the network. And because of the insufficient miners, the tx over the network would be slow.
16631  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: November 17, 2014, 03:01:18 PM
Hello. I was just wondering if you could help me with my problem.
I have a privkey from my previous android wallet and I'm thinking of importing it on my blockchain.info wallet. Is there any way that I can do this? If there is, can you help me achieve it? I'm working on it for a few hours now and I couldn't look for a method that gets the job done.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
16632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Best way how to prevent BTC wallet from hackers on: November 17, 2014, 02:56:52 PM
You could look into buying a Trezor. Very secure wallets but they're a little pricey. ($120 IIRC)

What is a Trezor? I've been seeing posts about it lately but I don't know what it is. Is it a kind of an electronic gadget or something? I also saw a post earlier about this Trezor keychains? Correct me if I'm wrong but are they being used as a keychain also? If so, then it's an interesting item! Cheesy
16633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Best way how to prevent BTC wallet from hackers on: November 17, 2014, 02:55:26 PM
To prevent hackers from stealing you precious coins, try putting the majority of it in a cold storage that isn't connected to the internet. A hard drive or a USB may help you in doing this. Also, try printing those in a paper wallet and have multiple copies of it. Laminate them and keep it in a nice and secure place that you could think of. That is the best and cheapest method in keeping your wallets safe and secure.
16634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Importing privkey from android wallet to blockchain.info wallet on: November 17, 2014, 02:52:10 PM
Hello. I was wondering if there is any other way for me to import the android wallet privkey I have into my blockchain.info wallet? I cannot import it into my blockchain wallet. Is there any way for me to achieve this? If this is doable, kindly help me on this please. Thank you. Smiley
16635  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction not confirmed after 19 hours on: November 17, 2014, 02:49:49 PM
I see that the transaction is now confirmed. Next time you make a transaction, see to it that you include a tx fee for your transaction to not take longer times before it confirms. Smiley
16636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Market Liquidity? on: November 17, 2014, 02:39:53 PM
Market liquidity refers to how many coins are being moved and traded in a day. However, the number that is being posted in the exchanges are not accurate and is just an estimate of how much coins are really being traded. You can get an accurate number of the market liquidity if you study the volume of trades in the exchanges.

Great Smiley

@dothebeats

You can also do it with bitcoin qt client, it's really easy.
People rarely need to change addresses, since you can move the coins within minutes from one to another, so if somebody asks for it there's a chance his forum profile was hacked.
Signing a message is a fast and secure way to prove the owner hasn't changed.

I have the privkey for the old wallet (it's a privkey for the android wallet). Can I just import the privkey to my blockchain.info wallet? Or can I just change my address directly and just put it in my profile? If I resynced the wallet, it will take me weeks to get to the present block. Are there any other ways to change my address? Or is there an option in the android wallet to sign the address? I'm using the Andreas one. Smiley
16638  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is there any such thing as a legitimate HYIP? on: November 17, 2014, 02:29:50 PM
Nah. The business model to gain profit is unsustainable itself. How come those *experienced* traders ask for others' money to start their own business? I mean, if they're experienced in their craft, how come they don't have the $$ to start the business in the first place?

Seems legit.
16639  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info not accepting password on: November 17, 2014, 02:28:13 PM
My account is logged on at the time of this writing. What happened to your account? Is the balance still in there? Are you sure you've entered the correct password? If you've entered the correct password, then your account should be logged on. :3 Have you saved the phrase needed in case something like this happened? Or maybe the error is in the identifier or something?
16640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here it comes.. on: November 17, 2014, 02:25:17 PM
Ahh if ever we hit $450, there will of course, another big dump by the end of this week. Ahh fake pumps, how I hate thee.
I miss those heart-stopping rallies. Hope we experience another great leap in this roller coaster ride. :3
