1681  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible to buy steam keys for cheap? on: August 04, 2017, 12:06:37 AM
Beside waiting for discount you can try to use VPN. Steam don't like it but it worked for me for the last time. The prices for steam games in russia are different from the same gemes in US. You can even try it with free VPN.
P.S. Also this thing sometimes work with airtickets and hotel booking.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What recourse do you have in case of paying by Bitcoin and getting scammed? on: August 03, 2017, 11:23:18 PM
Jut use escrow. There is a lot of different websites (or even private forum users) offering such services. Now it could be used with online and offline trading. They all have their own specific listed in contract before transactions but it makes everything safer.
1683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: August 03, 2017, 11:09:55 PM
Well it is too late to give you any advise. At least you have understood your mistakes (the biggest one was to start trading) and you on't do it anymore. Now just try not to buy any shitcoins (100% sure that cryptoinvestment is not yours), do not store your BTC online and other simple rules.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Government/Bankers Gold Blockchain Obviously Coming! on: August 03, 2017, 10:53:36 PM

Bitcoin = Virtual Gold

Creating a "gold blockchain" makes no sense. Bitcoin serves the purpose of being the virtual/intangible form of gold that we have been calling it for years now.

I remember when people used to call Litecoin the "silver" cryptocurrency... I suppose it still applies given the difference in their prices is very similar to the physical substances.
That will make some sense maybe if all gold in the world will be stored by the safe 3rd party and everyone will use the gold crypto (or everyone will destroy gold, whatever) but it still sounds like bullshit.

You didn't read the article. Bankers and government have gold. They are accumulating physical gold. They will create a digital blockchain, a centralized one, where the units are represented by stored gold. You are a fool to think gov will accept bitcoin. They will do the gold, which they are fighting to get right now. People will accept it too, think outside this box here.
While making any speculations (or even long term investments) people don't posess any physical amount of gold. Banks jut needed to store it and keep it safe. No one will need any decentralized system untill they are fine with banks.
1685  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Youtube Goes Full 1984, Promises to Hide "Offensive" Content Without Recourse on: August 03, 2017, 10:41:37 PM
Thats the disadvantage of modern social networks. They are too  centralized and it brings a lot of censorshitp (so called tolerance). Your posts may somehow  hurt someone else's feelings and be romoved by the administration. At his moment it doesen't have anything close to moderation. Just simple lobbying someone else's interests.
1686  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it just to stereotype an entire religion based on the actions of a few people on: August 03, 2017, 09:48:55 PM
If you talk about stereotypes then the actions of those "few people" are usually based on general ideology of their religion. That's how the religion generate stereotypes about itself. Unfortunatelly mostly it is more that a "few people" and ther actions are supported by the other followers of their religion.

1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin transacrions anonymous? on: August 03, 2017, 09:32:28 PM

First of all no one knows that you owned the address.

Sometimes you have to post your adress somewhere or maybe use it for buying something so thru something ele this adress might be connected with it's owner. So as i get it the best way to be safe is to keep BTC for trade sseparately from the ones for personal usage.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: Government/Bankers Gold Blockchain Obviously Coming! on: August 03, 2017, 09:16:29 PM
Government needs to assume responsibility for protecting and insuring our money considering how critical it is to the health of the country.
Who said that? What government?
For example usually governments do not hesitate to take huge long term without even thinkin about who and how will pay for it mostly because it will be someone else's problem when the next government will be elected. No one cares about any responsobility.
1690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW DO MINERS PICK TRANSACTIONS on: August 03, 2017, 09:07:05 PM
Miners don't pick themselves.

All done by algorithm.  I have a feeling its based on transaction price, but I could be wrong.
Ya, it's based by transaction fee but pools still can pick different  transactions. Thats how different transaction accelerators work ( like this one https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ ). They are just setting a minimum transaction fees to acclerate only good ones.
1691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump is better than Obama? on: August 03, 2017, 12:27:14 PM
Obama was bad but Donald Trump is much worse than Obama. Because he's trying to take decissions upon his own will. No matter what the law says.

Your logic is very strange. Trump is very bad because he is taking independent decisions without anyone's influence? I would rate that as one of his plus points. Everyone knows that Obama was a puppet, who got elected just because of his race.
I think, Obama is better than Trump because Obama really listens well to his people. And I beg to disagree with you that his independent decision making is Trump's plus point over Obama because a president should study well all of his decisions and consult his people before implementing it because it might affect not just him but the whole state. And out of all the decision that Trump has made so far, I am very much displeased with his decision of not accepting transgender people in the military. Some transgender people can do a lot more things than a straight people can so why stop them from entering the military.
Listen to whom? Lgbt? Immigrants (mostly illegal)? Other minorities? The government have to make desigions and not olways someone else should suppurt it. Thats how it works. Otherwise we could only make a rogram based on blockchain where everyone could vote for different actions (with Obama's electorate there would be only buttons like "feed the poor", "take money from rich", etc.). Obama was the most socialistic presient drowen by the worst part of the community.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do BCC Will help increase BTC Value? on: August 03, 2017, 12:15:07 PM
Hello Guys,
I'm not an expert of Virtual Currencies like BTC, BCC, liteCoins etc. but I'm just curious what is the main reason forks were made out of BTC popularity?
Do BCC is helping BTC to increase value?
Is BCC is created to rival other existing Low-end Virtual Currencies?
Do you believe another forks will exist after a few months or years?

Talk to me, please... thanks
I'm not an expert either but generaly  all successfull cryptocurrencies hape positive influence on bitcoin. Mostly because it is tradable in most pairs and people will spend or demand bitcoin while buying or selling bitcoin cash.
1693  Economy / Economics / Re: Investments outside crypto on: August 03, 2017, 11:58:25 AM

It is very unfortunate what is happening in venezuela. I wish the united states would forget about north korea for a second and make some attempt to re-establish stability in south america.

lol what do you mean under "re establish staility"? Venesuela is already under big international pressure. You won't make anything from outside. Personaly i don't think that bolivar is somehow tradable in any exchange. If it was we could know it's accurate real price.
1694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bit coins on: August 03, 2017, 01:05:22 AM
Buying bitcoins in this month is not a wise decision. You should wait for a month to buy or sell bitcoins because no one knows what will happen to Bitcoin after this fork i mean there is no clear position still in buying or selling bitcoins. Right now bitcoin is falling and BCC is rising but one cant expect anything at this moment because may be its a temporary fall and rise. So better wait for the time.
BCC is not rising anymore and BTC is tot falling. Those changes in bitcoin are insignificant and it is stable at this moment. For the last 2 days maybe even staying almost at the same spot. The best time to buy it was some weeks ago when it dropped down back to 1.8 but now the situation aroung SegWit is mostly clear and there is no threat to BTC.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: EU proposes account freezes to prevent bank runs on: August 03, 2017, 12:18:24 AM
That seems as a reasonable follow up of the EU policy. At first they promote using bank cards and removing banknotes from economy trying to make cashless society and then someone is surprised why their accounts might be frozen. The main idea of bitcoin is uncontrolled currency and this is not only emission as most users think.
1696  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex is Back Online & Fully Working :) on: August 03, 2017, 12:01:25 AM

not working on my end

This page isn’t working

poloniex.com is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500

Confirm. Poloniex is still not working for me while i'm not using any vpn / proxy / tor etc. I'm afraid that after those issues would be solved it will cause a huge wave of panic withdraws and it's reputation may suffer.

Poloniex was having some technical difficulties:

It still have the same difficulties Sad
1697  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Release the hounds : 45.8 BTC stolen - electrum-wallet.com CRIMINAL sticky pls on: August 02, 2017, 11:37:33 PM
Damn, i feeel that pain but still can't understand why people are so careless while operating such huge amounts of BTC. You could try to send your bitcoins to another waller without downloading anything (even  before download smth just check the website a billion times) and then claim your BCC. Don't think that you will get it back but that will be a lesson for everyone else.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You SATISFIED With AUGUST 1? on: August 02, 2017, 11:18:06 PM
Sooooooo my friends... here we go...

Had BTC in Bittrex, got $10000 free today!

Yes, $10k free. Sold BCC near $1000 / BCH.

OH MAN.

But tbh I really feel bad someone bought this.
Congratz man! A strong correction definetely awaits BCC price so you probably sold it on the best price for the next months. But in long term it might come back to the current rate (or even more) so you shouldn't feel sorry. Just think that someone made a long term investment.
1699  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex down. on: August 02, 2017, 10:59:44 PM
Don't think that people stored large amounts of crypto online before / after Aug 1st but after btce even those rumors can cause alything like "panic selling". The changes on BTC rate are almost unseen but it definetely stops it's growth that could be shown due to increasing of the total crypto market cap.
1700  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to delete files? on: August 02, 2017, 03:45:45 PM
You must overwirte the free space. Tools like CC Cleaner could help
I'm pretty sure that I've used it (and not just once) during this year but most of the files could be easily restored by different software like Handy recovery. Thats the first program I've downloaded (anc cracked) from thepiretebay and it still works fine with most of the files.
