The only Adult caterogy seems to be (unimpressively) called Undefined. Only checked it from the Sitemap though. Tongue

The Search and Advanced Search don't do anything and instead reload the current page, although it's most likely because the site is still unfinished.

Just tapping the searching options (items per page, price range) causes the search results to reload, even though the value remains unchanged.

Using comma (,) instead of period (.) doesn't work as a decimal mark when setting the value of gift cards, for example. Comma is used as a decimal mark in a lot of countries outside US, so it should be implemented.

The site happily accepts ZIP code of any length.

*Search/advanced search has already been found
*Tapping search options isn't breaking the website (thanks for suggesting the annoyance this will be fixed after all the bugs have been found)
*I thought math was universal in every country? could you maybe link or have someone confirm that the "," is used as a decimal in some countries?
*Zipcodes can be valid up to 10 places and some zip codes even have "+"

How about we take a look at some other name brand stores logo

Just taking a look at all of these, I think it is safe to say that there is way to many colors, and the fonts need to be uniform as well as what peter stated the words aren't aligned so I'll tell the designer to make it more "brand" like and we'll see what he pops out with next.
1685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins New Logo | what you guys think? on: October 23, 2011, 08:29:06 PM
The angled frame, and blue bitcoin text is a good foundation. Adding two shades of green + white + orange + black shadow is too many colors. And three fonts is too many fonts.

Stick with one (perhaps 2) fonts and 2 colors. Angle and orient the text to match the perspective of the outlining frame and it'll make it much more cohesive - may resemble a retro 50's style Americana sign which might be cool.
Thanks, you put it into better words then I could think of to tell the designer. I had the same thoughts exactly just couldn't pinpoint what it was.

If you go back to the log-in/registration page after trying to register, although it shows the customer has New Customer radio button selected, the other titles in the page say "I am a Returning Customer" and so on.

You can use a decimal mark in the quantity field.

*Decimal mark has been verified - 2 BTC
1690  Economy / Services / Re: Break My Website | Cheaper in Bitcoins on: October 23, 2011, 06:09:13 PM
Tested some more...

If you increase the number even more, results are INF; but happily added to the cart anyway. It again slows down, but is ok again as soon as I delete cookies.

When registering an account, I end up with a blank page after hitting the submit button (registered two accounts). I can log in though.

Try to create a new user with a valid email and a password like: ' OR 1=1; will result in a 500 server error. You do use prepared statements for your sql stuff, don't you? Donations happily accepted at 1KbwFRcCBvjbeTpho539bgN9GeSN9AFixp.

edit: doesn't work now anymore.
Sill seems to cause problem when used with the quantity field

The blank page bug has been already found
1691  Economy / Services / Re: Break My Website | Cheaper in Bitcoins on: October 23, 2011, 06:06:31 PM
Entering a large number in the order field causes a switch to e notation (see picture, top). From there on, it looks like the whole site grinds down a halt and gets pretty much unbrowseable, unless you have lots of patience.

When logging in after a reboot, the sum is displayed, but 0 items are in the cart (see picture, bottom).

Bitcoin symbol is not always displayed correctly (see picture). On a side note, I'd prefer BTC since the symbol you use is used for Thai Baht.

When having tons of items in the cart, the cart page either times out or causes the browser to crash because of memory exhaustion (I admit the VM I used to test is low on RAM).

http://picpaste.com/3c901fb847adeb113bdfe825d976aa8a.jpg

*The largenumber e notation bug has been verified - 2BTC
*Bitcoin symbol dosen't appear to show up for everyone- 1BTC

in regards to netrin's post... My thoughts are closely related to yours as well.
We need a FDIC insurer but for Bitcoin is really what we need.
Let's pretend you don't actually mean FDIC, but just reputable auditing and insurance services.

Yeah you are correct of course I don't mean the federal government should insure bitcoin. I think indeed that some entity should invest in protecting Bitcoin companies. But how?

See what I just did there?

I quadrupald-trolled myself.... Keeps the trolls away...
Don't tell nobody....
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is UNIQUE on: October 23, 2011, 06:49:16 AM
Refreshing to see a post like this (and lack of trolls).

The trick is to feed the trolls in the "off-topic" section by posting troll like stuff. But now that I posted you the secret to keep'em away the trolls will be all over this thread(its what they do)

but wait a minute what if because they know I'm trying to do reverse psychology that they will just not post to make me look like I don't know what I'm talking about because if they came in an trolled then I'd be right, but if they now don't come in a troll I will be wrong and thus its more humorously-profitable to not troll and watch everyone troll me(whom are not usualy trolls).
1698  Economy / Services / Re: Break My Website | Cheaper in Bitcoins on: October 23, 2011, 06:42:40 AM
How does mine not count then..... I got the 404 you originally asked for and then you suddenly change your mind.

I swore I thought you were the first person I sent the BTC too... But I checked my bitcoin wallet and it seems I didn't.

Apologizes sending now!

1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF glbse dies tomorrow.... How will i know whom owns the percentage of my Biz on: October 23, 2011, 06:37:57 AM
heres an idea, pretend the law does not exist and conduct business anonymously in freenet or tor or some other similar service thing.

i know that would not work for some things and types of business, and using a block chain type thing would be adding too much complication to a very simple matter.

heres what i suggest

a peer to peer system that allows you to input digital signatures. you put the signature of the company in your client that validates information it receives. all information sent out of the business has a incremental number that is included in the signed portion.

so heres what it would look like. i had googles public signature in my client, along with their ip address or other address locator "thing". they act like a bit torrent tracker and tell of other peers. to buy shares directly from the company you send a simple message to the server saying i want to buy some shares or bonds or whatever it is, how much, signed reply from business then you send the amount of crytocommodity you want.

the business then sends out a signed receipt publicly certifying that x bitcoin address has y shares. to sell your shares to someone else you sign their address and the amount of shares your selling with the key you bought it with. this is sent to the business, then they send out a new signed receipt. the last part does not need to happen instantly, the last part just helps keep the system tidy.

this system does not need long term decentralization in most situations, because if their server is taken down, then the business is probably dead and your shares would be worthless anyway.

Ehh I'd rather just keep being legal how I am. the more you look like your covering up to the BOE the more they gonna watch you. I have nothing to hide nor do I need any more anxiety to think about what might come to me or my biz if I start doing such anonymous techniques to just sell some shares.

I don't browse the newbies forum often actually I don't browse too many topics on this forum at all. Its like finding a diamond in the rough to find a good "legitimate" conversation around there.
