They knew already brood capability on quick destroying their barracks since Zai is the one who clean their base with split pushes. They become over confident with their win on the clash and even Liquid didn’t knows exactly that Zai can make it.
On top of that, Talon used their fortification for the team fight leaving the base exposed and it all came down to the TP cancels that came in clutch from the supporting side of Team Liquid.

This tournament keeps on giving with these unpredictable series and the networth leads don't matter as much when it all goes down to who has the better draft and execution in the late game.

Anyway this tournament continues to be much harder for me to call then the ones before. Whenever I am thinking somebody should win easy they loose at least a map and when I think it will be a close match it ends 2:0. I was sure PSG.LGD and EG would take at least one map yesterday and I thought GG should do it clean and they were almost out.
I'm also having a bad time betting in the playoffs as I thought the 9 Pandas vs Team Secret series would go to three maps and then it goes 2-0 for 9 Pandas.
Happened again in the last game BetBoom had all three maps in their pocket and managed to loose at the end. Killing my ticket in the process and proving once again this tournament is better skipped when betting.

That being said Liquid and BetBoom series were totally wild and I am really happy I managed to watch most of it, especially that Zai move to secure Liquid win.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 7000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: July 28, 2023, 07:25:04 AM
DOTA, still a coin toss but yes, BB lost so you will at best have only 1 right finalist. I will hope GG beats BB, then I need liquid only to win next game and U get that point.

I "watched" entire 3rd map of Liquid yesterday on audio (video was horrible) and apparently some idiot just went solo, ignoring his teammates, levelled up his spider crazy, escaped a kill with a "toss" and when Talon were dominating after an hour, they forgot about him, and he went alone to annihilate the enemy camp. Liquid through, when apparently, they played like shit. How did my assessment sound like, Trofo / cryptofrka? Can I pass off as a DOTA fan?

Oh, and the commentators kept saying Zai was doing "illegal" moves. They didn't mean that literally I guess?
BB can still be finalist, they just have to win more games to get there.

How come you have bad video? I always have perfect full HD streaming on Twitch. Only possible if your internet connection is bad.

That third map was something special let me try it explain trough football terms. Liquid was leading 4:0 and then Talon managed to equalize in last minute and we went to penalties. Where Talon was leading 5:4 and their goalkeeper just saved the ball but while they were celebrating that ball got wicked rotation and finished in the goal. Now following isn't possible in football but that goal was valid for 2 points and if it came half a second later it wouldn't stand.

Think of Zai illegal moves like Messi tying several defenders in a knot.

Now there was more tactic involved in that and they didn't just forget about Zai, they realized what he was doing at the end and tried to come back to stop him but his live teammates managed to slow them down enough to win.

Not really passing as Dota fan yet but you get maximum points for effort. I would never just try to listen to game Smiley

So far these people have paid and I sent them the link to join Superbru:

That means 9 of us with some new names in the mix. I fell like we could have that perfect 20 people this season in the pool. If I missed somebody let me know.

Sponsorship money has landed on the escrow address so we are all set in this pool for new season, big thanks to Sportsbet and buwaytress once more.

Wait, where am I? Didn't you receive my payment? I have sent you the tx via PM and you gave me the link to join Superbru.

I don't really know what to expect because I was never a part of any pool. I just joined because I'm having good time competing in another competition that Trofo is running so I decided to risk 1.5 mBTC Smiley
All fine you got the link so you are in. I am stil on holiday and doing this just partially. Will be back home next week and then I actually have a way to access my escrow wallet and match all tx ids. That list was more in case I forgot to send the link to someone.

This series might be the most action-packed series we have today unless Aster and EG could replicate that same intense series.

Nah, Aster was too good for EG. The prizepool is so silly though that any team that got eliminated wouldnt even feel bad about themselves with all those cash that they got from the playoff stage.
You can't say that. The size of the price pool arguably makes it even more important to progress further, every next step pays so much more that it could have put even more pressure on their shoulders.

Anyway this tournament continues to be much harder for me to call then the ones before. Reasonable to see registration fee for Premier League is highest so is prize pool but it is unlogical to see fee and prize pool for Bundesliga are bigger than La Liga.

It is still debateable to say Bundesliga is bigger than Serie A or smaller or the same but if it is about La Liga, it is straightly right to say La Liga is a bigger league.

Are differences among leagues come from additional sponsor funds?
You guys can't really compare pools like that. They are run by different people and that means different ideas and targets. I only gave the most basic info here, you will have to actually check the pools for full picture.

For instance I am personally giving myself way lower chance to get into the money in PL pool then any of the other 3 based on amount of players that usually join. Even though PL is the only one I actually watch 🤣

I played bundesliga for first time last year and paid out my fee just from free bets in first half of the season. If you are trying to calculate ROI you need to account for amount of people playing and their prowess.

General question.
Approximately how many members we are looking at in this pool?
I would be happy with 20 people. Last year we had a bit less then that, but this year we have a couple of new guys like you and I expect all the old ones to sign again, except for tomahawk who disappeared from forum.

I got your PM, nothing more for you to do. I will send you a link to join this pool later today and for Serie A when it becomes available. Probably in another week or two.

You must still submit because there are just a few games for today. It's not a smart idea to not submit at all.

Already did that. However, if its too late, its fine though.

Good luck with your matches everyone.  Smiley
Maybe I am not seeing it well on my mobile but I believe you still did not submit. Check again and do it asap and maybe it will even be enough for you to get a win in this round. Only fair to tag your opponent here as well @DireWolfM14 but I have a feeling we are loosing him for this competition.

Bad start for me in this round, already 1:0 down, time for some dressing room talk.

That wait until the last hour was worth it, GG would've ruined my prediction if I submitted a bit earlier and I also had to replace them with Team Liquid after their series ended. Tongue

The same for the Waterpolo question as I initially had Italy to go all the way.
Same thinking here but I wanted GG to win. That way it would have been easier decision. This way I went without them but I still believe they can reach grand final trough lower bracket and win the whole thing.

I just hope I will not loose this round on boxing and MMA since I have no clue about that and I made my answers in acordance to some random guy predictons online  Grin

Nothing much to say about this one, as you said this was his first match of the season after bad knee injury and we all have seen how some other great players had problems to return. Zverev needed a lot of time after breaking an ankle and Thiem never properly retuned and both are way younger than Čilić.

yeah, Thiem never properly continued playing tennis after injury
I am always having DelPo on my mind when hearing about injuries, pretty sure he would have 5+ GS's if not for so many injuries, even with all three top players playing at same time

off-topic, Djokovic is on vacation in Dubrovnik, as I can see, but not giving interviewes regarding Wimbledon
Delpo is one of my favorite players ever but his situation was different. He had a series of injuries on his both wrists and also something with knees. That was chronic and he was missing huge parts of tour. Guys I mentioned had more or less injury free careers and then just one bad injury after which they are getting back. It is mentally totally different problem.

Still remember how Delpo had to start playing backhand slice instead of his booming hits just to have a chance to play.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 25, 2023, 01:49:00 PM
Wow, I thought Cilic has retired a while ago, at least he hasn't played for quite some time.

Well, he plays like it Grin
He got knocked out in straight sets by Flavio Cobolli, I actually had to Google the guy.

Looked so slow and out of the game, you could see that these are his first matches of the season.
He's 35 and was never a player with high stamina and physical durability so he's probably playing the last matches of his career.
He looked great first 3 points in the match Smiley You should have heard our local commentary, the guy said Djoković is playing his best tennis with 37 years so Cilić can surely play another 2 or 3 seasons of great tennis. That being said Cobolli played great tennis and if he was capable of producing that every match he would be top 20 player for sure, probably even top 10.

Nothing much to say about this one, as you said this was his first match of the season after bad knee injury and we all have seen how some other great players had problems to return. Zverev needed a lot of time after breaking an ankle and Thiem never properly retuned and both are way younger than Čilić.

So all this sponsored by our favorite bookie, all of them also have rewards for best player each week plus some other goodies. There is also F1 pool that is already running and PL Fantasy pool that is looking for sponsorship and there will probably be CL pool as well.
Thank you Trofo for posting detailed information.
I already joined Formula 1 pool, and both Italian and Spanish league pool look interesting to me if there are open spots left, maybe I will even consider joining CL pool.
But dont expect from me to join any of your DOTA CSGO virtual pools if you ever make them Grin
All prediction pools I listed don't have a limit for players. The more the merrier so feel free to join any of them. It was always surprising for me how many people write in gambling section and how small is the percentage of them willing to pay entry fee to pools such as these. Best ROI you can ever find in gambling  Grin

without registering on kicktipp, superbru or other betting sites, you won't have a chance to participate in one of the various pools.
in any case, i would be very happy to welcome you to the bundesliga pool.
I am already registered on Superbru, but I am trying to minimize registration on new websites, unless it is absolutely needed for something.
Here is one example why, I registered on Betnomi website some time ago and now I am receiving suspicious spam emails from unknown sources and Betnomi is not available anymore.
Since you already mentioned, does anyone recommend any other pools and is there any list of all available pools for next season?

tough round, with a lot of other sports questions, which I don't have anything against, but now we have some boxing and DOTA, that I am not following almost at all
I don't think we have a sport fanatic who is that good to be at home with all questions in this and last round. There is so many fringe sports included that all of us have problems with some of them. I know nothing about boxing and MMA, those will be just coin toss for me unless I find some easy page to research it.

Did not watch water polo for a long time but I know a lot about the sport from before, even played it (not professionally) sometimes during the summer so I am hoping that one will give me some advantage to offset MMA/boxing. I know several people see me as DOTA expert but that question is very difficult to get advantage on it. My biggest advantage in DOTA is to know who has a better chance to win map after I see drafts which doesn't help me at all when choosing overall winners.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5457330.0

I know I don't follow F1 and I did not expect much from this pool but I feel like there is almost no point in playing this. I mean everybody is picking Verstappen always which is boring but you must do it and then hoping you get exact placement for one of the other guys. I did not watch a single race or read a single article and still I am in the middle of the pool. Basically all I know is that Verstappen is winning every race and then I pick other guys just by their points that are written in Superbru.

Is there something more to this for those of you that understand the sport?

slackovicu jel ignoriraš moje postove za poolove? Htio si da javim, onda napišem u temu koju sigurno pratiš a ti ni riječi? Sad sam iznenađen i uvrijeđen  Grin

Haha.

Even though women's football brought me a win the last week, I hate it. I really try to do the research but I can't seem to find any website with some historical statistic data. That's why I just select an answer and hope for the best. It worked great in the last week so I hope it works the same way this week Smiley
You can use our local bookie supersport for stuff like that. You have h2h for each as long in the past as you like it. They are my to go page for football usually. You can also stream many games there but you must have money on account for that. 50 cents is enough.

Regarding posting answers on time, don't you guys have gmail already on mobile? I simply use same one across all my devices, fill out the form on main computer and then I can always just change one answer on mobile and send. Form is auto saved in cloud and you can continue with it from anywhere.
