Just tell it to allow the IP's from your other workstations.  You don't need a proxy as far as I know.

Is this the shelfish pool I need to defend myself against?  Just wondering.
1683  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: splitting block erupters into groups on: November 04, 2013, 08:54:53 PM
So to clarify, if I wanted to mine with two 49 port block erupter groups using two cgminer windows, in the config for each one I would put:

--usb :49

This way the first instance would only detect 49 of the 98 units and the second instance would detect the rest.

Is the correct?

I would use "--usb ICA:49"

But if you only have block erupters for USB miners then you are correct.  I would set a number for the second instance too.

For what i understand Im mining two coins at the same time?

If your using the PPLNS payout system on BTC Guild then yes.  NMC is basically worthless so it's not really worth the bother, unless you just want to tinker around.

The Namecoin project is dead.  Hopefully something better will replace it since it was a great idea and something that we need.

When did you start using Speedy?
1687  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: USB block erupters long LED blink on: October 31, 2013, 10:14:34 PM
Solid green means miner idle.  CGMiner will usually say something about the pool not providing work fast enough.  A 2 or 3 second green is a solid green.

Thanks for the P/S suggestions, reviews and link, by the way.
1689  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Power Supplies for 49 Port USB Hub on: October 31, 2013, 03:07:11 PM
Do you think the Hub itself needs cooling?  I hadn't really thought about that.

I have two Arctic Breezes blowing straight down on my 47 Erupters.  Those work great for the BE's.  But it's not doing squat for the Hub itself.

How hot does your fuse get with all Erupters loaded and mining?
1691  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: October 31, 2013, 02:37:09 AM
BTC Guild stopped mining NMC coin, 3 days ago, in my dashboard. BTC is hashing away, but NMC number isn't increasing.

Are you using PPLNS?
1692  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1.3 TH] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop, instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: October 30, 2013, 04:31:51 PM
but I think it's a problem if there is some different pages telling us different things about pools!

That's why deepbit has a stats page so that you can see what they really found.  Same with other pools they all have their own stat's.

Other pages can be useful but you have to remember they are only estimating and sometimes just blindly guessing.

I aint soliciting but I know ya might want some fans check out my signature.

I'm good on fans.  Two Arctic Breeze's work great on the hub at the sacrifice of two ports.

Damn. 40 amp fuses, i'm surprised that it is that high.

I'm sure it's fused for the hubs designed capabilities and limitations.  Not for the quality of power supply that someone may use with it.

So, should I be using a 30a fuse to protect my PSU if it only has 32A on the 5V rail?

I'm going to use the fuse that came with it.  When I get it that is Smiley.

What does your statistics show for Saturday ?

My last share worked was 28-oct at 01:30.

I should be paid for blocks
266412 (Cadena Principal)   2013-10-27 19:05:09
and
266527 (Cadena Principal)   2013-10-28 10:25:07

But nothing... Sad

Any contact email with deepbit team?

The last block Deepbit found was 266221 on the 26th of October.

40 is on the top, and one of the metal pins says 32V.

Sounds great.
Thanks,
Sam

USB Hub Fuses

Well, I screwed up.  In the 2nd box of hubs, I found a plastic bag of fuses.  Now going back into the first box of hubs (where I never found any), I found another bag of fuses, UNDER the bottom cardboard flap.  Fuses are being sent out to all orders that have already been shipped.

That's funny.  Can you tell me what the current rating is on them.  Probably just a number on the top of it.
Thanks,
Sam
1699  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Is asic-technologies.com a safe place to buy block erupter? on: October 29, 2013, 02:17:14 PM
Buy from BTC Guild.  That is a safe place.

Are there any problem with payments related to recent blocks? I didn't receive payment about last days...

Are you using Proportional or PPS?

A block hasn't been found for 3 days.
