I've been trying to load yomix but it's not working. "Onionsite Not Found - The most likely cause is that the onionsite is offline." I'm quite new to this stuff so I'd like to ask what could cause this type of things? thx
Onion sites are those that offers some layer of securities between browsers, services providers and the user. With these programming comes some authentications to be met. Services you can find on Tor browsers as it ensures privacy, thereby makinh it more difficult to trace. This accounts to why its not always very swift to access while using Onion sites. Perhaps it's a proxy issue but, one that is most likely not to take a lot of time as the service is uo and running.

The Good news is that both clearnet and onion site are now work, though DDoS guard was triggered on my computer even when I was not using any VPN service. On mobile, no DDoS guard was triggered.
Yeah, I noticed that minutes ago in the site accessing the authenticity of my browser to access the service, powered by DDoS Gaurd
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crypto coins/tokens on: March 04, 2023, 10:29:03 AM
Yes, that's right. Luck is also part of it. As you already think, as a beginner you should only invest in older and reputable coins/tokens. Only when you have more experience in this area could you take the risk and invest in new projects. Unfortunately, it's true, most projects are scam. It is therefore important to have experience with it yourself and to be very, very thoroughly informed about new projects. As I have already written, research is very important and the ability to assess it correctly.  Smiley
Apparently, new projects are once that comes with a lot of potential as, its at its root, yet to show any promises and as such, neglected for only the risk takers that have got the know how to pick amongst the multitude of them out there. Where the difficulty lies is in your ability to pick. You chose right and you might he up to something but, once you chose wrong, your bound for undesirable consequences.

One who is looking out for a place to invest without risk is one who isn't ready to make profit. For sure there are some investments that comes with certain level of securities but, that doesn't mean there isn't some factors of risks associated. Even bitcoin comes with some level of risks as well.
There is always a reward to risk ratio in every investment and being able to factor it out would aid you to make the right choice of investment.
1683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time to buy or sell? on: March 03, 2023, 08:45:29 PM
Timely investing is definitely profitable because investing when the market is down.
Aside from that, you get to put in just about enough not to get too emotional or feel as though you made a hasty decision.
You never relly take note of what have left you for an investment as per funds but then, when you realise just how much you've been able to accumulate or invest and what it might mean to you at that moment or in time, it becomes something you well enough ought to be proud of.

It's a step at a time and your crypto rich portfolio won't be far behind.

Erik ten Hag's system is working very well for Manchester United indeed. This has even helped them get near the title competition in the league also. Maybe the point gap with the leader is still too much but who knows there is still a possibility for them to catch up with them even more.
Ten Hag has definitely got his team in good spirit and in many ways influenced the form of his side andost especially, M. Rashford. They go into every game believing that they can win even when they are a goal or 2 goals down. They don't hope or wish for a draw but instead, you find them going for the win. How extra ordinary is that for a team that was doing relatively badly at the beginning of the season. The trust and confidence they've got in M. Rashford has certainly given him the freewill to always take the shot and his been about that quite well, often finding the net with ease. Though, I think thy aren't title contenders for this season.

At the moment the gap is 11 points from the leader, provided that there is still a match in reserve, but I do not know, I think it's too much at the moment given the form of Manchester City and Arsenal. You could even say that the latter two have their own struggle and the race for the title, and Manchester United is fighting for third place, for some reason I think it will be there
For an inform team like Arsenal, 11 points gap is too much for Manchester United. That's because, Arsenal isn't giving much chances if they even give any at all. We saw what they did to Everton after Everton did beat them in there first meeting. They came right back and scored 2 goals in each half! That's Arsenal, making there lead strong still.
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 03, 2023, 07:45:07 PM

Buying when it pumps and selling when it drops, that's the entire opposite of the unwritten principle that requires you to buy when it falls and sell when it pumps. No doubt, we find investors rushing into the market when price is high because, they wish to benefit from the billrun that is already playing out but the truth is, they already lost there chances at some good profit to the sentiments that restricted them from buying.
Good enough, it's never late buying at whatever price you meet the market at but, you've got to have a plan that keeps you in the market well enough to make profit. Either you are a day trader or swing trader or you just get to hodl for as long as it gets for the coin (bitcoin) to pump and then, you hodl again.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 02, 2023, 11:22:30 PM
Liverpool chance of winning Manchester United is very small, with the way Manchester United are playing right now, Manchester United are dreaming of over taking Manchester City and Arsenal with any little mistake, while Liverpool on the other hand are looking to make top 4, is going to be a very interesting game to look at for this weekend, Liverpool are currently in sixth position on the league table and if they can get a point against Manchester United then I think they can be among the top 4, we still have 13 premier League games to play, which is a total of 39 points to play for.
Liverpool vs Manchester United, that's some big game that would make an interesting watch. Manchester United is definitely the favourites to win in this fixture but, we know how teams do step when they face a fierce opponent as, it becomes a time to test themselves and I think, that would be the case for Liverpool.  Possibly, they might not win against Manchester United but, they could get a draw. There game against Wolverhampton wanderers from few days ago where they had to win Wolverhampton by scoring 2 goals in the second half would be something to want to build on and they could be better with Manchester United. Its left for Klopp to bring his best games.
1688  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is not trash on: March 02, 2023, 11:03:27 PM
In my country presently, we know how important cash has become, the government decide to renew our Fiat currency and it's not in circulation yet, for some reasons, some people believe that it was intentional because they don't want some bad actors to use Fiat to rig the ongoing election in the country.
Cash is Fiat and Fiat is government approved currency for exchange within its jurisdiction. The hardship from the absence of fiat is greatly felt due to the fact that, most business enterprises don't have enough point of sale machines to attend to there customers, the few that has have got issues with network connectivity and most of the citizens aren't used to mobile banking. These arr the constraints that have made cash seemike a do without.
Should cryptocurrency be approved today for a legal tender, the need for cash transactions would be reduced and people are sure to make use of the alternatives available for them.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: My survival strategies in this harsh economic conditions on: March 02, 2023, 10:42:12 PM

To survive these economic obstacles these are the strategies I and my family used to cope.

Homeschooling:

But the Covid-19 lockdown gave my wife and me the conviction that homeschooling our children is possible because we observed that their academic performance improved while we schooled at home.
To acquire the relevant skills my wife studied and passed the teacher's qualification exams and became a registered teacher. Instead of securing a teaching job, we decided she starts homeschooling my children. We bought all the facilities and textbooks and got government approval to start a home school. I also serve as a part-time teacher because I am also a qualified teacher but my full-time paid job is three times a week for classroom classes. We also engage in excursions, and sporting activities and they socialize in our religious gatherings and visit their cousins during holidays. So socially they are balanced. Although the task is very demanding with the internet and proper time management, the children are doing well.

Low-key celebration: It is normal to spend during Christmas, birthdays, Easter, and other holidays but overspending might affect us negatively. Hence, all our celebrations are low-cost. The children understand because they know that buying new clothing or organizing big parties might not be financially friendly to the family.

Growing some crops: We have little space in our compound and we have started a vegetable garden which has cut the cost we spend on vegetables. We have also started plans to develop eight plots of land Cassava farm that can provide a year-long supply of our main staple food called the "garri".

Cheap but quality products: I am not too concerned about flashy or current products. The family dresses modestly and not necessarily wearing clothes in vogue. Fairly used items a cheaper in my country. Buying new items like cars might be very expensive but going for a fairly used but durable product is cheaper and better. Toyota cars are cheaper and easy to maintain in my country. The parts are readily available and they fit the Nigerian road.

Investment: I know that the time will come when my wife and I might not continue able continue homeschooling. My first child will be moving to a conventional secondary school by September. The savings I get from cutting cost is invested in real estate and bitcoin. If I can own my home, the children will be able to attend quality schools because rent also consumes a large chunk of my income. I am not planning to buy or build a house if I can raise enough money. I also believe in bitcoin that's why I have plans to hodl for a long time.
The economic situation of some nations can drive you nuts and as such, one has got to apply a lot of skills to be able to attain some sort of a comfortable lifestyle. You've got a pretty good one at OP, although there is one thing I don't really understand or perhaps would need certain clarification.

*Homeschooling: This is an unpopular option in Nigeria and as such, what are the government required criteria to home school your wards?
Meanwhile, as much as Homeschooling might seem like a good option to manage and fit in the economic situation in Nigeria, being the actual teacher to your kids or wards comes in a different environment and your wards might not give you the attention they ought to.

*Low Key Celebration: Not the typical way for a Nigerian but surely, you still could come through lowly.
*Grow what you eat: That's just hygienic and definitely something a lot of persons should practice. You get crops free from chemicals and preservatives. That's if you didn't put it there yourself.

Generally as humans, we would always find a way to coup and that's just how we survive. You don't wait till you zero out to make plans, always plan for your days ahead.
1690  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 02, 2023, 10:28:08 PM
I wonder if higher education will help for entrepreneurship?

This can help us if we need a license, but in some cases it can be obtained without a higher education.

Statistically, 95% of entrepreneurs have a bachelor's degree or higher and I wonder, for those of you who are involved in entrepreneurship, how useful was higher education for you?
When post persons don't patronise the part of a higher institute of learning to be a part of there success, I greatly wonder as to how little they think of the process. Somehow, we limit it to getting some sort of employment in some place and thinks that's the ultimate about it but, that in itself could be wrong.

One thing a higher institution of learning or education can give you is exposure. It's almost like a community of its own where you've got, diverse persons from different ethnicity and moral standards.  You get to learn from what they know, how they live there life's and when it comes to job, you get the exposure you need to take opportunities where you find them or even create the opportunity yourself.

Education do play a role in whatever we do.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and education on: March 01, 2023, 11:52:24 PM
~snip~
My first context to this would be;
Who says education has to do with you to have gone through the four ways of some university or school as this seems to insinuate?
And should I go but what I assume your trying to imply,  who says you can't have both?

Again, the goal of every scholar is the hope that, thy could amass wealth through the vast knowledge they've been exposed to which makes it pretty much a goal but, some means of education becomes a necessity for you to be able to manage your enterprise, determine just how much profit you ought to he making in contrast to how much your making and to manage your staff.
Of course you might have someone do that for you but, you still ha e to over see it all to ensure your not been frauded.
1692  Other / Meta / Re: what should a newbie do 1st on this forum? on: March 01, 2023, 11:40:13 PM
I am still confused, what is the ideal brand-new or newbie account to do 1st before creating any post and thread?
Ideally, they should spend some time reading the rules (especially if its their first time on a forum) but this is just a discussion forum, there are no rules what you have to do.
Yeah, when it comes to the forum or any forum, the first thing that is expected of a newbie is to go through the rules. Am just glad Rikafip did come up with that because, on every introductory thread by a newbie, it's always the first response you would find and a link to them rules.
Unfortunately, the rules remains the most ignored until it gots broken, either by the individual or someone else before it drags one's attention to it. A few might seek the rules first but, not so sure for most.

The next, you get to scavenge the forum to see what it is about, how much freedom you've got, lots of reading and the others would be discovered as you ride along.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 01, 2023, 11:05:42 PM
It’s full time and Manchester United finish the game in grand style, coming from behind to win the game in a comfortable 3-1 score against Westham. Indeed Manchester United are playing so well and I must commend their efforts and hard work. Ten Hag is doing great especially being the only club in top Five European leagues with the chance of winning the quadruple this season.
Ten Hag had tough choices to make by sometimes leaving his best players on the bench to teach a lesson, he made it, stood by it and he is today reaping from those tough choices. At least, his got his first trophy and the Manchester United  team remains one of the most competitive and confident teams as we have it now.
Today, they've proven once more that is never really over until the final whistle with them scoring goals up to the plus minutes to take the lead. That goes for the FA Cup.

In the EPL, Arteta showed lots of competence in the management of his players by identifying at what game certain players ought to do more. I took it from there previous meetings that, part of the difficulty they had in that game was leaving Trossard to come from the bench. Today, we had him in the starting lineup and though he didn't come up with a goal, the wing was worked good and it gave the Everton defence line much trouble.
1694  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Set your mind on your goals and nothing else on: March 01, 2023, 10:05:45 PM
I don't know why and now they are asking for my help, I have to do it since they are my family, and even my friends are asking for help, would you help your discouraging friends if you are in my shoe? They were my friends, but not anymore, I believe friends should be supportive of each other, am I wrong.

If you are a crypto newbie, make sure you set your mind on your goals, do not be discouraged by anyone, people can't see the future, we are not gods or demigods who can read the future, do not listen to any naysayers.
Speaking of supportive friends, that you are being discouraged by your friends not to invest in cryptos doesn't mean they aren't being supportive. I think they are in there own capacity, trying to save you from a lose as they don't know any better. The level of support you would get is that which comes from how much they know which in this case, is only lose and you presumably know better and so, you stay your course. That your friends don't see opportunity where you find one doesn't mean they are not being supportive!

You've done yourself good in not listening to the FUD they tried to sell you. Risks is indeed rewarding to the darery. You took your chances and you've won. That proving of yourself as a success is a good enough lesson for your friends. If you can aid them in whatever capacity that brings you peace, you should. That's how to be the bigger and better person.
1695  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why is bitcoin unique? on: March 01, 2023, 09:54:29 PM
The uniqueness of bitcoin is something that sterns from the pioneer entity in the ever anonymous and pseudo Satoshi Nakamoto. His intentions were pure, devoid of greed and far from anything profit oriented but for the sole purpose of helping humanity solve the issues associated with finance. This is why, Satoshi created a near perfect system that fully operates and authenticates based on the masses and operates a decentralized system.
Being pioneer plays a role but, its only secondary and the issues in which the coin solves by cutting shirt the gaps between time and space, ensuring you stay private and secured as you make it is just what our advancement in this era needs/have got in bitcoin.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 01, 2023, 09:36:04 PM
Despite everyone predicting that Arsenal would lose to Everton, just take a look at the first half of the game. Arsenal is already ahead by two goals, with my favorite player, Saka, scoring the first goal and providing the assist for the second. Now a third goal has been added, another goal by M. Odegaard, and the ball possession and attacks are insane. we arsenal fans are really happy right now we always trust our club to always deliver the best in entertainment and everything.
Everyone predicting that Arsenal will lose to Everton? Really!
I think what I noticed is more like a speculation where, should Arsenal had lose, they would have end up having just 2 points gap between them and Manchester City which would have put them in such a tight position in the league.

Fortunately, Arsenal always comes through to its fans that looks up to them for there smiles. It's just how good the team jas come to be under Arteta's watch. This is the same team that Everton did beat weeks earlier and now, here they are in a second leg being beaten by 4 goals to nothing at the clock. I can say it's just Arsenal.

1698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting strategy question on: February 28, 2023, 10:43:21 PM
I'm all about the small bets when it comes to gamblin. As a sports bettor myself, I always gotta remind myself not to go nuts and stick to my budget. Its so easy to get caught up in the moment, but a reel baller knows when to cashout. One little trick I got is to keep it interesting without breakin' the bank by placing small bets on crazy long-shot outcomes. You know what I'm sayin? Like, I might throw down on some team with crazy odds to win it all, just for the kicks. Its a little game that can pay of bigg time if the stars align. But remember, homie, gamblin's all about the fun and games, not about makin' a livin'. So let's roll the dice and enjoy the ride!!!!
That's not a bad strategy at all, betting small amounts on teams with high odds. If you win only a few of the bets that you've made, you will still be in profit taking out your initial betting amounts from each game you've bet on so far. I will definitely give that a go on sports betting next time I go for it.
This won't have been a bad strategy except for the fact that, the chances of big odds playing out is always very slim. You very much can't have the thought except for cases where, your pretty sure the team has qualified and have got some other top game in some top league to reserve players for and even in such cases, you would find managers trying out there new guys and second eleven and also, the bookmakers would do just by reducing the odds on the part of the mid tier team. It's a game of xhnaces really and you never can have enough.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 28, 2023, 10:32:41 PM
I agree that is what we expect from Arsenal, in an increasingly fierce competition with Manchester City, Arsenal will not waste the chance to play at home
The difference of 2 points is really not safe for Arsenal Manchester City can take over at any time as they did 2 weeks ago luckily it was less than 24
For the next 2 matches Arsenal will play at home and fight a weaker team but on March 12 they will play away against Fulham, obviously this fight will be a little difficult.
2 points is what we've got now on the table but, let's not forget Manchester City has played 25 games, so has Tottenham and Fulham. They've got more games than everybody else and Arsenal has got one more game to play to advance there position as per points against Manchester City. From how Arteta rises up after each fall, it doenst seem like they aren't going to find a way to win there next game and extend that point gap, because I think they will. They understand the risk and how Manchester City have been on there backs, given the Manchester City reputation should they eventually climb up, Arsenal is out to maintain top 1 spot.

The first part of being able to learn anything is that you first become teachable. You might have your concepts already stock up in your head and am not going to say you discard that but, be upon to new information and keep in mind that, some of what you know now could be wrong. Don't fail to realise that when your hit with what is contradictory to what you think you already know.
Be enthusiastic about the field and know that, though there are a bulk of knowledge on cryptocurrency right here on the forum, you shouldn't limit your learning to the forum. You could study concepts and terminologies that are widely used on the Internet as it all applies here.

Most of all, your welcome on the forum
