1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do sportsbook does not apply parlay on the same event? on: May 28, 2022, 10:35:06 AM
I'm just curious guys, I like to ask your opinion on why sportsbooks do not apply parlay on the same event. I remember when I was new to sports betting, one of the sites I'm using allowed it but now it's not possible anymore.

What do you think are the reasons for that?

When I started sports betting, I never encounter nor experience the time that it was possible to parlay on the same event? There's a sports betting site that offers parlay in the same event? I'm just focused though on basketball and I don't know if that happened in other sports.

Simply, why they will allow that. Almost all the advantages are on the bettors, especially if the team is played by heavy Favorites. Bettors can take advantage of combining the Moneyline and Handicap odds for the Favorite team. The low odds given to the Favorite for Moneyline are useless anymore and the market won't be balanced.

@wheelz1200
May we request to add some notable information on the first page?

This fight is now clear to happened in the first place and speculations are now over.

Errol Spence Jr. vs Terence Crawford 100% on this year

Crawford is 100% confident that he can take down Spence Jr. He also gives a hint that he wants Jermell Charlo next. He says that Spence Jr. and Charlo are on his hitlist. I like the confidence but he should be wary that those on his target list are dangerous.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 28, 2022, 03:55:03 AM
Exchanging of blows? I bet we can see something like that as I know Magsayo won't back down for nothing, I wanted to see Vargas challenging Magsayo to bring the best of him.

That was Magsayo's favorite and I hope Vargas will give him the most difficult exchange blows he ever experienced. That will be a good experience for Magsayo. Freddie Roach was also an expert regarding the in-close fight techniques and the best proof of that is how Manny Pacquiao fought at close range. It's fortunate that Magsayo will be up against a heavy challenger since that will test his skills if he really wants to step up slowly on the ladder.

There's no plan on moving up but I think if Magsayo wins against Vargas, and takes some couple of title defenses next, he can take a shot at 130 lbs catchweight.

Awesome win by the Miami Heat 111-103. They surely wrecked the majority of the bettors, especially on the handicap.

This surprised me too and even think that the Celtics will now close the series. We can see that it's only Jimmy Butler who saves the day. There's really no problem with him regarding consistency but the team will go nowhere if they will just rely on Butler although a great hassle plays courtesy of his teammates during the last minutes. That was an exhausting game for Butler but good thing they have won.

Sudden-death next game at the FTX Arena, home of the Miami Heat. We will now see who will enter the NBA Finals to face the Golden State Warriors.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 27, 2022, 11:42:14 PM
Haven't even checked to see if hero is playing tonight but if he can get out there, he helps spreads the floor otherwise Boston can pack it in the paint.  Enjoy the game go heat!

Tyler Herro is out. But even if he will play, there are no changes. It's difficult to think he will be at 100% healthy status if he can make it tonight. It will affect his overall performance. Miami Heat shows already their capability in those 5 games. I'm pretty sure that the series will be over and no more Game 7 will happen. I'm just biased because I have an ongoing bet on the Celtics to win the series even though I'm not a fan of them lol.

Once the Celtics managed to get a lead for over 10+, that's the start of frustration for the Heat and they are done now.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 27, 2022, 11:26:03 PM
Donaire saying that he has improved since their last fight is just a promotional thing for me. Even if he has improved, it won't happen overnight, and considering that he has aged that would be hard also for him to change his fighting style. Donaire was doing good in their first fight, it just that the punches he threw were not enough to knock Inoue out.

Same with you, I'm rooting for Donaire because of the odds and of course, he is my compatriot lol.

Regardless if it's a promotional statement or not, I'm sure even at 50% he really meant that statement. Obviously, any boxer can say they improved, either because of self-confidence or they just really feel it. But I hope he is 100% true on that statement as I support him on this match no matter how fierce Naoya Inoue is.

I like to see the aggressiveness of Donaire again in the early rounds like what he did in their first match. That's the only time Donaire can make Inoue struggle as the longer the fight goes, that will be a disadvantage to him.
1687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: May 27, 2022, 10:51:04 PM
I believe it will return, all the elements are here.

- Government needs funding
- there are lobbyists, these lobbyists include big-time gamblers who use to make billions of pesos
- if held underground there will be corruption, operators are willing to pay corrupt officials
- there is a huge market and demand
- Everything is in place there are bookies and online sites, and they all need a go signal.

The upcoming administration makes it clear that e-sabong won't return.

1. Government needs funding but it's not that e-sabong is only the best alternative. It won't be suspended if that plays a big role. In other words, the revenue here can be covered.

2. Big-time gamblers here covered most gambling types. Even though there's no e-sabong, there are lots of online gambling alternatives here on which they can switch.

3. Yes those behind the table are possible but sorry that's not worth it since only a few will use the platform. The e-sabong becomes trendy here because it is legitimate and access is done thru a legit application like Gcash. How can these illegal operators earn if only a few people will use them?

4. Read no. 1.

5. Bookies and online sites are present here. It's just that e-sabong is removed. There are others games to covered.

1688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Mavericks) on: May 27, 2022, 10:40:34 PM
Congratulations to the Golden State Warriors on winning the NBA Western Conference Finals. They are now back again in the Finals scene after years of being in a build-mode as they have struck with injuries too. A good effort too by the Dallas Mavericks as their journey here in the playoffs is impressive. I can't even imagine they will be in the Top 4 as they faced some competitive teams along the way, against Utah Jazz and the top seed Phoenix Suns where only a few think they can beat that top seed team.

Warriors for me have a high chance to claim the NBA title again. Andrew Wiggins can be able to man-to-man both Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics. He admits he has a hard time defending Luka but with that role, he has defensively, it contributes to his experience guarding the main scorer of any team.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 27, 2022, 10:29:50 PM
Regardless of what team will win the Eastern Conference Finals, I can't imagine how can they match the dominance of the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. From starters to the bench, all are contributing well. Klay Thompson is not even always on-fire. In the whole playoffs series, it's only 2 times when he passed 20+ points and 3 times for 30+ points on which the last one is against the Dallas Mavericks where he put 32 points. What I mean here is, that he is consistent at around 15-18PPG this playoff and they are already dominant. What if he will get on his usual average.

Golden State Warriors currently have a @1.6 to win the championship. That was a good odds for me and already placed my bet. Maybe odds for them will slightly move depends on the tonight's game result.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 26, 2022, 11:39:01 PM
There’s no final result yet and who knows, maybe Butler will double time to work with his team and take the game 6, that’s not boring to me since we saw a lot of twist since the playoff started and now we are getting closer to see the teams going into the NBA Finals. Though the way Celtics played in Game 5, I believe they have more confidence now but with Miami, they should stay focus. I loss some bets with Miami but that’s fine, and I’ll take the risk again placing some bet with them, this is more exciting than expected.

I don't get bored too with the series although the competition got wrecked because of some unexpected injuries. I don't understand why the series becomes boring to others. Maybe common for not really an NBA enthusiast and just showing at the playoffs or Finals.

Regarding the series, since minor to major injuries occur at some starters for the Heat, it gives a domino effect on their offensive strategy. Jimmy Butler might be playing right now and showing no signs of injury but he has that he got in Game 3. It's impossible that he already fully recovered from that but since it's a call of duty to play and he is cleared to do it, he risks it to help the team.

I'm seeing Boston Celtics will end this series next game at their home.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 26, 2022, 11:28:41 PM
At least Canelo making the good decision of giving us fans the needed trilogy instead of fighting Bivol again.

A good decision but not because of the fans. It was because if he will fight Bivol again, he might finally end up losing again. Haven't you noticed how silent Canelo is after he loses? If he really thinks he can go a win against Bivol in a rematch, he will surely be vocal about it. There's hesitation because he knows to himself he can't handle the underdog Bivol for the 2nd time. Cheesy

Instead, he chooses to fight against the older GGG and stick with the supposed original plan if he wins against Bivol. He thinks he can handle easily that old guy plus awaiting big money that will be generated by this match instead of fighting Bivol in a rematch.

At least though, we will see this fight even it's kinda late.

Of course, maybe he was just advise by his team not to take Bivol as this point because he will end up losing the fight again. And the fans is wanting to see this fight being made, so even if he came for a big L, he can still go and fight Canelo. And maybe the real money is with this trilogy and he knows that their fans are going to buy the ticket even if this is going to be expensive as they are eager to see the third fight.

That is not something to Canelo, taking advice and dodging an opponent. Bivol really shakes Canelo's head and right now, he's a nightmare to Canelo.

Canelo might need another boost of confidence so instead of taking Bivol on a rematch, he wants to test something by facing other opponents first and since there's already an anticipated fight between him and GGG in September even prior to the fight against Bivol, they push for that.

According to some articles, after fighting GGG, Canelo will now challenge Bivol for a rematch. We are not just sure if that's still his plan if he loses against GGG.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 26, 2022, 11:17:56 PM
The NBA has to do something about its one day to travel in between games. I mean I can only imagine how fagged out both teams would have been. There's so many injuries and little time to rest and recover from them.

That's non-sense and it will affect the league's original timeline and roadmap. Unfortunate injuries really happened and who else wants to be injured?

The NBA has nothing to do with it. The league has always followed that type of schedule since then and the only time teams are resting for a bit long is when transferring game venues like Game 2 to Game 3, Game 4 to Game 5, etc. based on the format.

Injuries really affect the team's rally. It can't be avoided.
1693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any changes experienced within body - Gambling??? on: May 26, 2022, 11:07:57 PM
and that now he has an allergy, that allergy went to the doctor and he referred him to a dermatologist, there they told him that he had psoriasis and that he had to sleep well and change his diet, but above all put aside the stress caused by the gambling.

I think it's not sense to point out that it's related to gambling. Mental stress is an obvious thing but allergy? It doesn't ring a bell. Your friend, even prior to doing gambling, might already have had that condition for a long time now. It's just that while currently addicted to gambling, the skin problem occurs at the same time.

Better consult an expert about it but surely, it's not because of gambling. It's not good to be an expert to ourselves when we noticed some worst changes in our bodies. We should not relate it to gambling and think that by stopping that activity, everything will be all right now.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: May 25, 2022, 11:59:00 PM
Unexpected results might happen. Although it's different in the case of the underdog Bivol against Canelo, the former is currently in his prime that's why even if he upset Canelo, it makes sense that he wins. GGG on the other hand is almost on his retirement and fighting a boxer that is currently in his prime and still young.

If the odds for GGG are decent, I might risk money for him. Not because I think he will win but I see GGG will give all his best in this fight as the final fight of his career. Maybe he can finally pull a win now because of his much higher determination.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Celtics) on: May 25, 2022, 11:46:50 PM
(BOSTON CELTICS)
Sam Hauser - Out
Marcus Smart - Questionable
Robert Williams III- Questionable

Actually, these are not really big handicaps to consider for the Boston Celtics since there are lots of games already where they won without these players in this playoffs series. Unlike in the Miami Heat, those questionable players are really doing some impact on their team.

With how the Miami Heat starters played last game, that was at their worst unlike in Boston Celtics where all of their losses, their main scorers still do have a good contribution, especially Jayson Tatum.

I will give Boston Celtics do now have an edge to win this series by 80% after Game 4 results. But still, it's early to tell since Heat will surely do everything to win as it's necessary to do so. It's just my own analysis.
1696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: May 25, 2022, 11:30:37 PM
If Donaire would lose this one then it does proves out that Inoue is the better fighter but if chances that he would able to get the win this time then there's a high possibility for some trilogy which do usually happens
whenever there's some rivalry which is really that common and something that could be seen but of course it would really still vary with the organization if ever they would push possible third or not
but well we should not be talking about trilogy which Donaire needs to settle this rematch and might really be considering for its retirement?

Mate, it's already considered by the majority that Inoue is the much better fighter here. Donaire is fighting against the odds. He is the underdog here that's why if he will lose this match, these are expected already by the others. But I'm looking for an upset win by Donaire here.

Experience-wise is the only thing that I referring to supporting Donaire here. And since he already faced Inoue before, he knows already what to do as a gameplan.

The question now is, how Donaire will execute his plans. As I said, he already knows what to do but the execution of it will be critical. It needs certain conditions before he can pull those out.
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 25, 2022, 11:12:11 PM
Many people now are in favor with GSW seeing how good their execution of plays this season and we can add up that they are complete so there's no surprise about people choosing GSW than Celtics or Miami. But lets also think that this will be easy knowing that their opponent is also eager to win the champ this season so they need to be careful and avoid making mistakes so that they can seal the championship this year.

It's not "now" but Warriors is really one of the Favorites to win the title since the start of the playoffs. When the top seed Phoenix Suns got eliminated, that made the Warriors a much more favorite to win the title. If ever the Warriors will win the WCF which is likely to happened, I honestly don't see how Boston Celtics or Miami Heat will be able to match with them. Right now, the main starters of the Warriors are all healthy while on those remaining teams in the East, they are not.

But let's see. Who knows one of the teams in the East can give a headache to the Warriors in the Finals.

62 - 47 Dallas Mavericks half-time.

The most crucial quarter for the Mavericks is approaching. Every of their 3rd Quarter performance of the whole current series against the Warriors, that's always the time Mavericks show some changes from their good first-half performance to worst. If they will repeat the same mistake for the 4th time, the Warriors will again outscore them. They should not do the same mistake especially in Game 2 where they blew a large lead.

Although this series is now for the Warriors by high chance, Mavericks should try to win the game better than being swept.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Western Conference Finals (Warriors vs Mavericks) on: May 24, 2022, 11:37:38 PM
I'm expecting that Dallas Mavericks at least will have underdog odds this Game 4. I think this is the first time I saw a team behind 0-3 that still listed as a slight favorite to win the game. Bookies might think that Mavericks can still able to pull this one even though it's clear from the previous 3 games that Mavericks can't handle the much more dominant Warriors.

The Mavs strategy in this series is quite clear. Keep shooting outside and pray that it will go in. The problem is most of Luka's teammates are missing a lot of those shots even though they have clean looks.

That's one of their problems even back in Game 1. Even though there's no defender, some of Luka's teammates can't still make a shot.

His teammates need to adjust at all costs. The later game will be their last game if they still didn't step up.
