A nice analysis.

Some of you can't read..

Here is a simple chart with 3 levels:
- Holding 50MA is good
- Holding 20MA is bullish,
- Losing the 100MA is bearish! (IF we lose it (pay attention, I said IF!) I will be extreme bearish on #Bitcoin and consider a 1k target)

For now target = 10.965

This new year for China means a lot, it is the launch of its stablecoin, and it will be competing with the best in its nature, they have prepared for more than 5 years for this, although they are directly threatened by Libra, it cannot be forgotten that it is a The path that will lead to Bitcoin, people will know the technology even more, and they will not hesitate to go the best way, they may use stablecoin to comply with the corresponding regulations, but the adoption will be the one that wins in its entirety, it will be a great start.

16884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Poll - How did you find out about Bitcointalk? on: January 24, 2020, 04:15:09 AM
I remember as if it had been at this time, a friend, who studied with me at the University, called me on the phone saying that there was a forum that referred to everything about Bitcoin and Altcoins, (this in 2017 just when Bitcoin was running towards the trend up) where there were experts, investors and the information was level A1, I did not hesitate and came here.

I started to participate in some Altcoins Airdrops, but after reading the threads, the same forum forces us to raise the level of knowledge and a simple publication is not enough, it must be supported by arguments established in books, articles, among others. All this to raise the level, at that moment the adventure began.
16885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: January 24, 2020, 03:52:14 AM
Even when your trading logic is solid, and based on watching other successful people, following the logic is the hardest part. It's simply not that easy, emotions get in the way.
Being emotional is not a good thing in trading but we should trade with good senses and overcome greed in trading. We decide to trade then will have to follow the rules as well. We saw so many successful people in the trading journey but we can’t trust them all just make proper research while trusting any trading person even if he is the most successful trader but trade only with your own knowledge.

Based on the fact that emotions often move the market, we must learn to have enough agility to know when the movements occur because of emotions and when it is the action of whales, whales may often place their bullish traps, the trader Who learns to see this kind of movements, will have long-term gains. This type of teaching is what the great famous speculator Jesse Livermore advises in his books, although it was applied in the stock market between the years (1800-1923) they are currently valid and applied to the Bitcoin market.
16886  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: January 24, 2020, 03:43:30 AM
~snip~

Without a doubt, at some point they will have to accept Crypto's technology and economy, Bitcoin represents a lot of power, not only in technology but also in money, they must accept that many are already using Bitcoin for payments, what they should do is implement Payment methods using blockchain.

Those countries that do not agree with Bitcoin or crypto, at some point they will have to be, since they will lose many businesses, it is also an excellent way to obtain liquidity because they benefit from a deflationary economy, which they cannot try to corrupt because it is simply impossible. Those who disagree cannot cover the sun with one finger, they will simply be out of play. It can be said that China is a Pro-Blockchain country and NOT Bitcoin, even if they do a lot of FUD, they cannot make people prefer to use a stable currency established by a government than Bitcoin.

Fuente: https://www.diariobitcoin.com/index.php/2020/01/23/glassnode-784-149-direcciones-poseen-minimo-1-bitcoin-completo-o-mas/?from=bitven.com

The 3D ichi (on standard settings) made a bullish cross.

These seem to work pretty well on bitcoin.

16890  Economy / Economics / Re: Ok. Number of Bitcoin transaction increased double. Expect price increasing? on: January 23, 2020, 01:42:37 PM
So i heard that the number of Bitcoin transaction increased double recently.

which means i can expect price increasing near future right?

It does not necessarily mean that as operations increase the price increases, in many cases they often use many bots to perform such operations, what can increase the price is adoption, in some part it is good that stablecoins close to launch drive people to know about technology, and it will be an easy way to go to get to Bitcoin, if more people enter the market, it will be able to generate more demand, and by decreasing the offer the price increase will be generated.

Risk and Performance, interesting thinking of PlanB

Quote
#bitcoin risk & return (-74% & 206%) is off the chart!
Looking at 50 years price data: bonds, gold and stocks are on the same risk & return line, consistent with EMH and CAPM. But bitcoin is far above that line. IMO that is the reason why the market overestimated bitcoin risk.

Economists mostly follow traditional models, only some see beyond.

Quote
Successful Bitcoin holders have low time preference & judge over extended periods, e.g. risk-adjusted return over 4-year holding periods. If an economist has not researched this strong market signal for explanations of supply & demand, they don't have a useful opinion about it.

16900  Economy / Economics / Re: Venezuela Is Now More Than 50% Dollarized, Study Finds on: January 21, 2020, 04:48:10 PM
~snip~

If we measure inflation in terms of local currency, it is in free fall, there is no way to stop it, the use of dollars makes the money in local currency move in favor of buying and selling dollars, not to mention the amount of money to the that goes the cash Colombia where they take advantage of the paper money for other types of businesses.

If it is dollarized, people move more dollars, but the government does not have the dollar as a payment currency, it only moves the bolivar and is trying to implement the petro, which caused a great fall in the economy, it is like the printing of currency fiat, the only thing is that this time it was digital.

There is no liquidity, what they do is create more inflation to obtain liquidity for the government, something that very few know is that much more money moves on the border with Colombia than in the capital of Caracas. The businesses that are generated on the border with Colombia are at 1000%. It is clearly a scenario in which Bitcoin turns out to be the best refuge of value for particular economies in Venezuela, gold too, but due to lack of knowledge in most people, Bitcoin is managed by those who know how to do it, since whether in trade or investment. The only thing that has served inflation is for the adoption of Bitcoin to be bigger every day, it is for that same reason the high volumes of trade generated in Venezuela that can be searched on localbitcoins.com.
