16901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: January 21, 2020, 04:24:59 PM
Only keep trading with low amounts, just do what everyone is doing. Instead of just jumping into the real stuff, preparation is the main target right now. When you truly trust your ability to make a real profit then you can start real trading and trust your abilities. Stay brave and be cautious, these are some basic things every good trader does and by the way, don't spend your entire life in the fresh air as well. Trading time and juggling your life are both very important and should have clear goals.

the ability will continue to grow when we do the same thing over and over again, although it will be boring if we succeed in having these abilities but we do have to keep doing it because it makes us able to continue learning. most important when we are just starting trading, then learning with low funds is good enough with the aim that our funds are safe.

Ideally, start with fictitious money, apply the plans to execute, when success is achieved in this way, I think you are prepared to face real trade, whether with a high or low balance, you must be equally careful, the idea is that you do not lose more money than you have available, and ensure you leave with a positive balance, however small, the trade should look like a business.

In my particular experience I establish a loss margin of less than 10%, and I have 3 trades to recover in case the market turns against me.

16904  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 20, 2020, 02:49:55 PM
One of the mistakes I have seen most is that there are many who are making the Pump and Dump in Exchanges, at the time of making an entry with enough capital if the price of Bitcoin falls, obviously that investment falls and often the movement does not occur , which brings losses with high percentages, in that case, for me it is not trading, it is like gambling.

And when trading you should not leave everything to chance, it is better to classify, plan and manage the movements, that way you avoid having losses.

Tic tac tic tac ... Halving ..

Quote
” The second halving event dropped Bitcoin’s daily issuance rate from ~3,600 BTC to the current ~1,800 BTC per day. This ultimately pushed BTC into the most recent bull run of 2017 where the asset saw a +2,800% increase over the following 18 months.”

The patterns are similar, just wait for the next behavior:

16908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: January 19, 2020, 09:32:33 PM
Someone who has just entered the market can come into contact with fraudsters in some way. People think that bitcoin is a means to make themselves rich. Scammers can deceive people with these promises. Research is needed first.
This creates a negative impact to bitcoin too. As these scammers take advantage of people who know little to none about bitcoin but dove in anyway. They can give bad remarks about cryptocurrencies which could then lead to a lowered if not heavily reduced amount of people who invest in cryptocurrencies. Proper knowledge is truly needed to ensure that everyone is aware of what really bitcoin is or at the very least what it is truly meant for.
Very well said. And because of the large amount of scams occured here. More people will eventually leave the trading industry here most especially the crypto world. And also it will be more difficult for us to encourage more people to join and invest here. I think we have to be more careful to avoid scams and also we should build up the cryptocurrencies to others and encourage them to join here.

The issue of scams is clearly due to ignorance of information, even in many parts of the world, even in third world countries there are people with pyramid schemes that operate with FIAT money and there are still new victims, if this happens in the system of FIAT money, imagine just thinking about what happens in the crypto world.

Many pyramid schemes keep coming out and people coming together believing that from one day to the next they will have very large profits without almost working, it is absurd, and this demonstrates a clear culture and financial education.

y muchos comenzaron a aconsejarlo:

El maximalista Pompliano le dijo:

Quote

16911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: January 19, 2020, 06:25:03 PM
Everyone who has ever traded for more than a couple of hours have had episodes where their trades are wrecked because of bitcoin volatility reflecting on the whole market.

What tips do you guys have regarding protecting yourself from bitcoin sudden moves?
Volatility is one of the nature of Bitcoin that is why we need to consider upon making a trade. Talking with the tips, perhaps I would say that don't be greedy and don't rush it all. If you saw Bitcoins dump right now, just wait because Bitcoin will eventually rise. But if you can't handle the Bitcoin's volatility I would recommend for you to go in long-term investment.

I believe that operating with high volatility and doing it well is an art, one of the advantages that can be obtained from volatility is, as it says before, doing long-term operations, for me the reason is simple, it gives me more time to react against to aggressive market movements caused by volatility.

I think it is a great point to consider, while short-term trade considering volatility is much harder to react to movements. Many feel that adrenaline runs through their veins when they do Scalping mode trading, it is really an art to do it and leave with a positive balance.

Of course everything changes if the focus is on investment, since it requires time and patience to wait for the profit.
16912  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Reglas no escritas del foro bitcointalk.org on: January 19, 2020, 06:09:01 PM
<…>

16913  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: January 19, 2020, 04:55:20 PM
The main advantage or condition that an investor must have is patience, in Crypto it is very easy to obtain the safest cryptocurrency, it is Bitcoin, it is the safest, and you will surely get a new ATH, otherwise in the Stock Market That more study should be done to choose the best action to invest. In Crypto there are many investors who can go through Altcoins, but it is considered to have a greater degree of risk, in Bitcoin there is risk, but it is much safer to do so, since it is the best option, what remains is to review your movements, it is say follow up, then wait as long as necessary until you reach your uptrend and your new ATH and sell at the Distribution stage to make a profit.
16914  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: Reglas no escritas del foro bitcointalk.org on: January 19, 2020, 04:43:02 PM
<…>

Fuente: https://criptotendencia.com/2020/01/19/analisis-de-bitcoin-alegra-los-lunes-dia-de-compra/

16916  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the real reasons of recent BTC rally? on: January 19, 2020, 04:00:27 PM
~snip~

On a speculative level there are many reasons:

1.- The effect of the possible war with the problem between the US and Iran, can be a powerful reason to have increased, is considered a fundamental.

2.- They may be testing offer at higher price levels, as the offer is eliminated the accumulation or re-accumulation stage accelerates.

3.- The Halving effect, which, is very close, can cause emotions that move the market.

We must also consider all the plans already made of the Strong Hands or whales, because you should not overlook all those little bullish traps or bearish movements to jump the Stop and buy cheaper, all to take the Bitcoins from the weak hands. .

The market is undoubtedly due to the Law of Supply and Demand, but there are other aspects to consider, such as the study of the volume, the shape of the chart, varies according to the criteria of each analyst.

In my particular case, I analyze the market with Wyckoff's theory, and following some of Jesse Livermore's teachings and model, the Bitcoin market is applicable to all types of models, but to simplify, there is a lot of intrinsic information in volume

In secure systems, whether given by Crypto or not, there will always be crime, abuse and so on. The fact that Bitcoin offers in many aspects of security, scammers, thieves will always look for ways to take advantage of any vulnerability, we have Ransomware cases, daily robberies, the same goes for FIAT money, crime rates are higher in money FIAT, what can be done to avoid all these attacks and at the digital level is to take cyber security measures, the more time passes and the price of Bitcoin increases, all these acts will continue to increase.
