BitDice noticed a large spike in bruteforce attempts with a large number of valid email addresses. We suspect that the attacker may have been using a list of leaked credentials from another gambling website due to the large number of valid email addresses. We wanted to inform the public and also advise everyone to always use unique passwords across multiple websites to prevent these types of attacks from being successful.
We may publish a starred email list in the future but we are more concerned that this may have orignated from another gambling site in the community.
As always, BitDice protects your account by verifying unknown logins to help secure your account.
this has been happening for quite some time my email that is used for registration at some secondary exchanges and casinos has been receiving dozens of failed authorization attempts reports seems like one of the sites has leaked its database or I managed to register at a semi-rogue exchange/casino specifically designed to get cryptousers e-mails and then attempting to bruteforce accounts

The update has been moved to Oct 27th due to some unforeseen delays.
Look forward to our 2 BTC wager competition upon release.
looking forward to that, but mostly interested what is your sportsbook gonna be like hope it doesn't disappoint and delivers competitive odds as for the update rescheduled, it is better to have all the things properly tested and re-tested and roll it out whenever you are ready, as it is usually an update-maintenance straight after and more downtime

It is a good start, but you really should hire a designer to make everything looks nice and sweet. For now it's more like a student project, and reading bright yellow on black background is really hard. It might also make sense to implement smart contracts, so that all transactions are operated automatically. This would not work with bitcoin, though, and might be a tough task. But just look into it, okay? It will probably increase the trust in your project from crypto community. And more background and game-like interface wouldn't hurt. Good luck!
You are right specially the Golden choice which do have a potato background. This should be changed up too look it more attractive to the players because it turns out to be very basic. I have seen some bet histories but i do still wait up for the signed message of this gambling sites bankroll. it was supposed to be a potato gold a very basic website, to be honest and please, show us the proof of funds would be nice of you to include house edge calculations for every game you have and maybe introduce more fixed multipliers basically, this is mini-satoshi dice with limited multipliers

We have all the bets saved and can eventually offer a dump of them if someone wants it, it would just be a pretty large file. We archive smaller bets after a while. # of bets isn't really proof of activity or wagered it just means a lot of people are botting your games Thank you for the post. Yes those bots have a major impact on the number of bets being placed. Manually achieving some of those stats as claimed by some gaming/gambling sites would be impossible to manage so bots are the only they can be. I was curious about the 50 billion bets placed stats claimed by Luckygames. It still sound afar fetched to me, 50 billion bets placed in 2 years is a huge claim. Luckygames claim 775 bets are placed every second. Can you state what yours average per second/month? They claim they had 5 billion bets and 2TB of traffic last month alone. What sort of of traffic a month hits your servers? Luckygames had 50 billion bets placed in 2 months is not that hard to believe in Bitsler had 29 billion bets in two years + some, luckygames have way more coins though as was mentioned above, the number of bets is only a so-so criterium to judge the popularity of a site this means that autobet and bots are pretty comfortable to use and that the site can run them bets without its servers choking

"Chainalysis builds trust in blockchains between people, businesses and governments" really? building trust by spying on cryptousers and depriving them of the little anonimity they had now big exchanges will ask for the origin of your coins if they suspect they are tainted know your customer, now know your transactions, next know what you ate for breakfast nothing exciting for an average user , money launderers will definitely find ways to get around that

Loose lips sink ships... or unfortunately get you stabbed and killed in this instance. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this case and how they knew to target him but I see a lot of people boasting about their crypto wealth on social media as well as posting wads of cash they've got from their profits. This sort of insecurity and need for validation can open you up to thieves who are looking for people with a lot of cash to easily target. I have a friend who regularly uses Local Bitcoins to sell his coins for cash and he says many of the people he deals with are lax with their security and boast about how much cash and coins they have. The fact that people are dealing with a semi-anon currency and are trading it for large amounts of untraceable cash money is always going to make people an easy target and I think these sorts of bitcoin robberies will only grow over time sadly.
its true, this world is full of people who will kill you for less than 120k$, sadly poor guy, his life ended at 24 years when he was planning to start living in full, buy an appartment ... this shows how important it is not to be over talkative about your investments and dealing in bitcoins better safe than sorry, especially if the money (bitcoins) can be easily transferred and cannot be recovered

I found out about what bitcoin was in 2011, shortly after I was mining it with my GPU golden times, when you could get 0.2-0.5 bitcoins a day from mining on your pc since that time bitcoins introduced me to bitcointalk , I started to read more and educate myself about cryptocurrencies discovered gambling with bitcoins too, can't say if it was change for better or for worse, haha but it definitely made gambling easier and faster (and provably fair)

There is buzz about the prospective of governments and banks accepting crypto or creating their own for its mass acceptance.
I don't think this is even worth acknowledging, as all of the present and future innovations are going to come from the private sector. Governments are just responsible for damage control, do a God-awful job for the most part and have never achieved true democracy.
In the past, people relied on governments and banks not because they're "governments" or "banks," but because they provided security.
Once AI, blockchain, and improved means to use crypto provide even better security than governments and banks ever could, whatever they do will be irrelevant.
of course it does matter! it is,basically , the endorsement of the crypto by a state , you can expect the number of people using bitcoins or other crypto in that country effectively quadruple, it will also do wonders for the adoption in other countries this can cause a chain reaction where this positive experience be used by other countries as well even if it starts as an experiment, it will surely help a lot

Yea, discord is good for reaching support but onsite shoutbox is something else. There's lot of simple chatting scripts developed already ... no need to reinvent.
in my opinion, discord and all of the blackjack and hookers features are secondary its a business and dice site without autobet is simply a no go area api access and scripting is good, but the vast majority of players do not fancy installing, tuning and using 3rd party scripts usually they come to gamble their coins on a mobile device too, autobet is the bare minimum to get the site into "may play here category" without it it is just "come check and use faucet" or a few hardcore returning customers who liked the concept, mass products sell better

Losing ShapeShit is a noticeable thing in the altcoin industry atm.
yeah now they changed their policies and introduced accounts system it was easily integrated before, do not see them on any gambling site at all but most of the top sites introduced their own exchanges it is very good for business- helps to retain customers so they do not withdraw to exchange somewhere else and it is profitable too, since the exchange rates are way lower than at a dedicated exchange, sometimes up to 4-5% margin
|
|
|
-snip-
I don't endorse non-escrow'd trades between players, I recommend people do so at their own risk. We've partnered with a company that does altcoin exchange for a lot of big exchanges and just finished implementing it, will be launching soon.
great news! an altcoin exchange without the need to resort to third parties was long time due now people will be able to convert between currencies and won't be tempted to withdraw to do it so somewhere else ,hope the rates will be competitive doge introduction is nice as well, wonder what coins are in plans if there are any?

Latest Update: Speed Upgrades now allow Blazingly Fast Betting
very noticeable upgrades, think I got around 1/4 speed increase on my end! can't speak for mobile users, but on my PC it is very visible: autobet manages way more bets per minute compared to what it could manage before and dice is blazing fast indeed now, kudos on the job well done

Come on, this site can't be serious right? it can I'm trying to make the owner see the errors of his ways, but I guess he is going to find out very soon himself and a proof of funds would be a good thing to start with, as provably fair+proof of funds is the bare minimum to get any project started, if you mean to make money, of course

added to bookmarks, excellent job! you may want to add bitgameonline to the list-they don't offer the best odds but they are there as a bitcoin sportsbook https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1745040.0Stake and Bitdice both plan to add sportsbooks, with Bitdice's coming in under a month (they say it is two weeks, but can take longer)

interesting how this news about 0x token got zero attention from the community fitting perfectly , Coinbase is looking at exchanges like Binance,KuCoin or Cryptopia with their tokens doing pretty well (there are many more successful or not so successful tokens out there: https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/top-10-cryptocurrency-exchanges-with-native-coins-tokens-or-shares/ ) and thinking: its time to cash in on that as well they are late to the party and it is going to take time to get it rolling, but think their tokens will be getting their fair share of the market due to the size of Coinbase customer's base

I can not believe that people with a positive trust score that too with legendary status are doing this. It is now over 1 week from the deadline of repayment. I might have to sell the account for getting my money back, though I hate it to sell it.
this guy could be in trouble real life gamblers sometimes cannot control what they do, sadly he certainly didn't mean to scam you if he gave you his legendary account , but seems like he lost and cannot get the money to get it back or as I said, could have some real life problems, things happen I would just wait if he returns, if this dude disappeared for good, well then it is up to you how to recover your loss

I've never seen anything like this, so it's 2% dice but everyone is displayed on the chart, like their current profit. I took a good look around, but I don't want to register a new account at this time, also 2% dice is okay for faucet sites, micro wallets with gaming section, but for general public 1% is readily available.
finally registered to have a look at the gorgeous, out of this world faucet it is 250 satoshi- a good one but nothing to write home about, actually crypto-games, bitvest , bitsler all have higher faucets and they are established and trusted sites with autobet limedice has an interesting concept, very minimalistic with all bets displlayed in a graph severely lacking in every other aspect though, doesn't feel like a gambling site more like a binary option or an exchange its my IMHO , of course, but you'd better stick to the old and trusted primedice style dicing layout
