1021  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: April 19, 2019, 11:59:30 AM

I didn't receive anything from the race too. I'm not even able to see in wich position i endeed..... Anybody know how i can check it?

Also asked in stake's forum but no answer yet.
You can ask the live support on the site.

Click your username and before the logout button, you can see it there.

It's ok. I received the reward today.

Probably there was a queue for race reward, because they had to send it to 10000 users.

I received mine. Thanks Stake.
Great to know about that, their live support is very responsive.

So the payment was just delayed together with the other ones?

actually , I just received an email informing me that the bonuses were credited for the past race
and the actual race's payout is coming soon
it was some sort of a premature raceculation it seems
so I got paid twice , kudos to Stake for not removing the balance credited by mistake , even if it was 26k satoshi
1022  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: April 19, 2019, 09:23:42 AM
Just did an exchange of the doge I was given for the races competition which is over as the races competition link is not on the site anymore and received our prizes already.

I haven't received mine and some other users also says that they have not received anything from the race competition. Probably they are doing it manually, it is not much though just curious why some people received it already but some others not.

I recieved mine alright , was credited automatically I think
wasn't much , around 30k satoshi , but I had fun playing an wasn't going for the top 10 anyways
by the way , top 10 , tenth position was like 800k , only top 5 was decent wins
top three positions wagered over 1.5k btc combined , so I guess the races was a success
1023  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-13] What Russia’s ‘Digital Iron Curtain’ Means for Bitcoin Users on: April 19, 2019, 08:33:23 AM
@veleten. China holds $1.17 trillion in US treasury bonds, while Russia does not hold anything and might also have given up their position as a nuclear super power.

I don't see how would this justify treating any information coming from Russia in a certain biased way
this is not journalism but propaganda
Russia used to have at least 0.11 trillion in US treasury bonds
they sold over 80% in 2018 , not surprisingly
but I wonder how they are going to give up their position as a nuclear superpower if they hold the top 2 nuclear arsenal in the world
and if we compare the quality of their ICBM to the US ones , they are way newer and better

1024  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: April 17, 2019, 07:12:20 PM
What I don't really like about windice is it high limit of withdrew , and if you don't win up to 0.002 you can't withdrew from the site to your wallet. But apart from that the games on the sites are great and the faucet really help players to make some credit on your account.
I wonder why you complaining other sites with high amount for withdraw because your campaign stake.com also have minimum amount to withdraw 0.002 btc and i was looking around to see several gambling sites and they also have same amount even higher so i think those amount already became an standard rules for almost every gambling sites

thats because some think it is not a casino where you deposit money and gamble but a source of income
where you come , claim free coins provided to test the site and try the games and bet risk free to earn money and withdraw
so for them 200k is not an easy target  to reach  , if it was 50k or so they'd probably quit their jobs ( if they had any   Cheesy )
several people from the signature campaigns , members , earn 150k a week , so it takes them two weeks to withdraw I don't think it is that difficult to wait an extra week either
and 200k withdrawal has been the standard amount across all of the gambling sites with just a few exceptions
1025  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-13] What Russia’s ‘Digital Iron Curtain’ Means for Bitcoin Users on: April 17, 2019, 02:29:20 PM
don't trust any news about crypto coming from Russia
in most cases the news is either not true or scewed
this article is all about the "iron curtain" and how Russia is "crushing the free internet"  and "restricting internet to its citizens"
while in reality it is a project to try and create a self-sufficient internet , not reliant on international channels and servers located elsewhere
this is more of a precautionary security measure rather than an "assault on democracy and all thats holy"
because of the Crimea sanctions there were talks about disconnecting Russia from the SWIFT , so what if the next move were to disconnect Russia from the internet?
China can do this and they remain the biggest US trade partner , but Russia cannot even try to propose such a thing without getting slammed  Cheesy
the article is biased on so many levels , but it is not surprising to me
1026  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: New game Satoshi's Treasure for $ 1 million on: April 16, 2019, 06:58:49 PM
Nice interface and very easy to navigate around the treasure forest, but my question is since you said the keys a scattered all around the Internet and some in the real world what if we discovered the keys on the Internet how are we going to get access to the ones that are in the real world?

one thing is for sure - since there are real world clues hidden
there will be money spent that you , most likely , won't recover
1 million USD is a decent prize to try for , but I'm not going to spend time and money chasing pies in the skies
you can't be sure this isn't some joke or an elaborate scam , a news outlet article that can be bought for 400$ doesn't prove anything
you could end up spending your time and money on  travelling and trying to find clues for nothing
1027  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: China’s Plan to Ban Bitcoin on: April 16, 2019, 05:13:58 PM
it is unconfirmed and is just rumours
but even if they do ban mining of bitcoins this doesn't mean they wil labn bitcoins
there were talks about it when they prohibited banking oprations with bitcoins yet people can trade and exchange coins without a problem if they used
exchanges that are not under China's jurisdiction , this ban was only for banks
I guess that if the mining ban is in place , most of the operations will simply transfer to the cheapest energy locations
not much will change and I would not consider it a blessing

you can tip one user no problem , just click on his profile and choose the coin icon

Thank you! I didn't know that. Indeed, now I see that, it's possible to tip just one particular user.

But, unfortunately, I still couldn't send a tip, and here's why. I wanted to tip a user with DOGE. The min tip amount was 18.18181818 DOGE and my balance was 196.81050610 DOGE, so it looked like I could do that, but here's the thing

It appeared that my balance was too small for sending a tip.

The same goes for BTC. It's really great that the min tip amount is as low as  0.00001 BTC. But it's impossible to send it if your balance is not greater than 0.002 BTC.

I think this is to prevent abuse of the faucet, rain, or other free giveaway. If there is no minimum balance in order to able to send a tip then it is very possible for users to create many accounts then claim faucet or any other smaller giveaway then collect it into one account to withdraw it. It is reasonable if they applies such requirement for the tip feature.

yeah , while it is creating some inconvenience , it is made to fight the abusers
you can tip your deposited funds but you can't tip the freebies to try and accumulate them on one account and withdraw
you can tip moderators without limits , though and moderators can do the same
so if you are feeling generous and want to rain or tip some particular user , you can try and contact a moderator online so he/she does it for you
but again , if it is done with one goal in mind - to cheat , think twice before doing it  Cheesy
1030  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Choose your lucky number 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: April 15, 2019, 09:37:29 PM
~snip~
In addition, if we want to giving tip to other we need to meet the requirements. First, our balance must be meet the minimum amount to do it (i.e 200k sat for BTC) and secondly we have to deposit first, if we have meet the minimum amount but our balance are get from free coins or signature payment (my own experience) we can't do it.

CMIIW

you can claim it for 30 times AFAIK.
Thats right, but if you have more stars (level) in your account you can claim more. For example you have 5 stars in your account then you can claim the faucet 55 times in a day and you can get 108 sat per diamond.

imagine if there are no tip limits, then one could simply claim faucet then tip another account, claim it again - rinse and repeat then withdraw
it would have been too easy to abuse for players who do not play and just come to claim freebies
you can withdraw your coins , then redeposit and you can tip as much as you like , you can convert bitcoins to ltc or doge to make the process go faster
and yes , the level system allows you to have 55 claims per day with 108 satoshi per diamond , up to 13 diamonds per game = 1404 satoshi max
in reality , I only managed to open all of the diamonds once , usually it is 3-10 diamonds for me , but a 500 satoshi faucet (on average ) is among the best ones at the moment

1031  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-13] Familiar Bitcoin Scam Defrauds Dutch Investors of $1.9 Million... on: April 15, 2019, 06:59:30 PM
This isn't limited to the Netherlands, this happens all over the world. Some celebrities actually do get involved even though they have no idea what they are promoting!

some celebrities should check what product are they putting their face on before grabbing the money
but since people never learn that in the economic realia of nowadays it is nearly impossible to get 10% monthly interest , not even talking about 20% daily or other retarded figures
and I don't have any sympathy for them either , its greed and stupidity - a deadly combination
ignorantia non est argumentum
and if you decide to "invest" (read donate) your money in a scam project , there is none to blame

I just tried to use the exchange on WinDice, but it appeared that my balances(of any coin) were too small to do that.

Can someone explain what are the reasons for such high minimum amounts one can exchange?

The minimum exchangeable amounts on WinDice currently are: 0.03102699 ETH for Ethereum, 0.001 BTC for Bitcoin, 0.06535948 LTC for Litecoin and 1785.71428571 DOGE for Dogecoin. It's not that I'm trying to say that the min amounts have to be lower, I've noticed that on other gambling sites where you can exchange coins the min amounts are almost the same, I just want to know the reasons behind that.

How it could be bad for a gambling site if the min amount was, say, 0.0001 BTC instead of 0.001 BTC?

I don't know the exact reasons but maybe  this is done to prevent potential shenanigans
Bitsler and duckdice have exactly the same minimum amounts +- 10k satoshi
it is an equivalent of 100k satoshi , roughly
~

Yeah, the minimum amount you can exchange on crypto-games is also almost exactly the same. I'm wondering how a site can lose something if the min amounts were lower. If the limit is implemented only because possible shenanigans, then maybe it's possible to lower it for the established players. It would be surely more fun to have the possibility of exchanging lower amounts, 10 times lower than the existing ones, I mean.

The same goes for the ability of tipping other players. As far as I understand, we can tip only 5 users at once currently, but in reality there are so many cases when you want to tip just one user.

you can tip one user no problem , just click on his profile and choose the coin icon
if a user is not in chat - use Find user  and do the same as above
there are no chat commands for tipping as of now , but I'm sure they will be implemented sooner rather than later
also that tip 5 users thingy is called Rain , there is this umbrella icon near the chat's flags
one can  rain on random 5-15 active  users in chat if he is feeling generous and prefers not to bother to tip the players one by one
1034  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-14]Russia has Offered to Ban Bitcoin in Every Country on: April 15, 2019, 01:44:20 PM
an amazing proposal by one of the Communist party representatives
lets ban stock markets and dollars first though , since they are the speculation vehicles far more dangerous than bitcoin
I would not pay attention to any news regarding crypto coming from Russia or India since they can't make their mind and the things we hear from them  are contradictory at best
also  if one of the parliament members  suggests something , it doesn't mean it is the official countrie's position on the matter
but hey "Russia offered to ban bitcoin" vs "Some dude from Russia thinks bitcoin should be banned" - for Coindol the choice is obvious  Cheesy
1035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: April 15, 2019, 01:28:31 PM
I notice a small change on the plinko game. There is now 0x payout based on the plinko board but in fact the payout is still the same as before, the 0x is for 0.2x 0.3x 0.5x
Is this a visual bug or the payout number on the board has been just changed recently?

Makes me a bit confuse to be honest, as per bet history is still the same with 0.2x etc.

I think they have not yet implemented it, Could be that they will change now those 0.20x, 0.30x to 0x? I also saw it when I visited stake and though it was  bug.

If Stake change those 0.2x 0.3x etc to 0x but they have not increased the other payout means that the house edge will be increased as well. The other confusion exist when I use the High Risk mode and Low number of pins. the 0.6x changed to 1x on the board while the result still show as 0.6x. This should be fixed soon IMO.

it is just a visual bug , the bet results are the same as before - 0.2x 0.3x etc.
probably one of the updates gone wrong and the new version of plinko was substituted with the old one where you could have gotten 0x
and also 5000x  Wink , think it was February- early March this year
hope devs notice the posts and correct this in the new update
1036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fork and Destroy Satoshi's 1 million Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2019, 10:46:39 PM
Bitcoin should be forked and Satoshi's 1 million Bitcoin destroyed completely, if he really owns that much.
A sudden withdrawal of of 1 million (or large gradual withdrawals) should be regarded as an attack on Bitcoin.

Or it should be frozen for now until developers are sure no one is going to withdraw the whole thing and crash the market.

you are funny , lets fork and destroy your coins instead , would you like that?
and why withdrawing 1 mil coins is an attack on bitcoin? sounds like nonsense to me
even if withdrawing or transferring it or whatever he wishes to do with them is threatening anything
it is his coins and he can do with them what he pleases
besides I have a very strong feeling these coins are not going to move any time soon if at all
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikileaks Bitcoin Donations Spike with Arrest of Julian Assange on: April 14, 2019, 09:05:10 PM
a new, unexpected plot twist in Assange's case:
President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani, in an exclusive interview with the Washington Examiner, said Julian Assange could expose a "plot" involving Ukraine to falsely accuse Trump of colluding with Russia.
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/white-house/giuliani-assange-could-expose-that-ukraine-was-behind-false-russia-collusion-charges

he suggested to "keep an eye on Ukraine" , the  second round of the presidential elections taking place on 21 of April and the current president is going to lose
his support rating is at 15% of which some  believe 14% are falsified  Cheesy
so we might hear some interesting revelations after the elections when the new team comes to power

1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰TrustDice on blockchain| provably fair| High dividends| Wagering contest🎁 on: April 14, 2019, 08:16:04 PM
said that most of Sig campaign rules are just similar.
Rules in signature campaigns are nearly the same, in my opinion. There are so little difference in campaigns' rules, and mostly concentrate on payment rates, check days, total required minimum posts or maximum accepted posts to get paid, as well as acceptable boards to have countable posts. It looks good for TrustDice, so far, that they don't got accusation on plagiarism, or something like this. I don't have to much skills to find out such issues, but let's see the growth of TrustDice, and findings from community next few weeks.

there are differences in signature campaign , the rules depend on the manager and the site owner who ordered it
I don't see anyone accusing Trustdice of plagiarism though
I don't see them run a signature campaign just yet , correct me if I'm wrong
signature campaigns at Bitcointalk are a sort of  some quality assurance mark for a casino
if they can afford 1 bitcoin+ to advertise , they should be focused on long term and not exit scam or something like that

We actually run signature campaign: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5129362.0.
I think it's also not too bad to test and run Signature campaign for a short time to see some results.
I personally agree that Signature campaign needs to be run for a quite long time.
By the way, what is the usage of Signature campaign on bitcointalk for projects?

as I have mentioned above- it is some kind of a quality mark and branding
to advertise at one of the most popular cryptoforums of the world means alot ( and costs alot too )
gambling sites use signature campaigns to get exposure and gamblers and to show that their brand is financially solid
some have been running such a campaign for years , for example the one I'm wearing
but huge sites and established brands  like Bitsler or Stake can afford it and it is working for them
while the new sites should not expect miracles to happen once they run a signature campaign themselves
it can  be good , it can be not so cost effective or it can also fail dramatically since if the site is not meeting the player's expectations -no adverting would be able to correct this
1039  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: April 14, 2019, 04:18:40 PM
And that keno player didn't even put too much into the game as well, thats what I love to see, sometimes people put like 6 bitcoins and than bet %50 and win 6 bitcoins as well so it looks like they won 6 bitcoins which is a lot of money but they also risked 6 bitcoins which goes to show you how having a lot of money could be an advantage if you play your cards right.

Moreover, here you can see the keno player only played with 0.04 which is really not that much, in order to make this not a profit he has to play 25 times at least and lose all of them so he wouldn't be in profit. We can safely assume that this was not the case because on keno its hard to play 25 times and not win anything at all, its not like dice. So this dude probably made a lot of profit in return.

right, sounds very easy
I saw this guy bet , he was betting 0.04 - 0.05 btc a game
he got very lucky before that hit , think he won 17.5 btc but the bet went unnoticed somehow
sometimes you win like that , but sometimes you deposit 2-3 bitcoins  , click 50-60 times and you wish you spent the money on something else , other than gambling  Grin
I'm sure he had some squeaky bum times betting 300$ a pop too

Bitsler and duckdice have exactly the same minimum amounts +- 10k satoshi
it is an equivalent of 100k satoshi , roughly
as for the maximum amount , I heard there were potential exploits of the exchangers , arbitraging  coins when the rate jumped up and down more than the site's commission
so the "trader" would just make money with some sort of a trading bot but since the rates are updated very often , the chances of making money or abusing the system are very low
