1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is less decentralized than BTC and ETH, but that’s not necessarily bad on: January 02, 2020, 12:56:45 PM
If ripple (XRP) is bad and no real use at all, it wont stay any longer in the CMC ranking currently at number three, as we all know that most of the cryptocurrency has its own negative issues, even bitcoin and Ethereum was not spare in these negative issues that's why for me it doesn't matter if XRP is not "fully decentralized" or not decentralized all i care is XRP was useful and effective in the real world use case specially for cross border payments and overseas remittances. i'm not comparing bitcoin, ethereum to the XRP but as a cryptocurrency that contributed a lot in these industry its should be recognized accordingly.
1702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 02, 2020, 12:40:52 PM
My brothers, anything crypto currency is highly volatile, don't hope on a hopeless hope, whenever you see profit, take it.

I will keep saying it,
in crypto currency profit is the game, you can always take your profit no matter how small and you will be happier at d end

Like I always say, small money in ur bank account is far better than $3k in ur online crypto wallet/exchange,

it can only be better the moment it's converted to your local currency.

Invest in crypto, safeguard your profit.

NB: Just my believes and mindset, I would love to learn even further from everyone here.
Ignore my English too

Happy new year.
Thats should be the right thing to do, but unfortunately most of us is after with a huge profit! that's why sometimes we end up nothing but failure thats the real deal and i'm already experienced that, because my previous goal was just look after with the huge profit at a time, which is wrong in the unstable and volatile cryptocurrency investment climate. now that i already learn with my previous mistakes my losses are just minimal comparing before with more better judgement when it comes to handling the profit.
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: January 01, 2020, 02:08:50 PM
I need lists of projects that were thought to be scam and faced many wrong accusations but in the end still thrive and become successful today, any? I believe not all project that appears to be scam ends up been scam because people suspect them to be
You're Thread title captures my attention, and i agree with you, many forum users are often judgemental about some projects, other people are just easily called and tag any project a scam without any supporting evidence and i think that's a wrong attitude you cant accuse anyone base on your doubt. it should be rightfully treated with any supporting evidences to support any scam accusation on the rightful section of this forum. in my own experience i've been scammed 3 times already and resulting of losing my hard earned money but despite of those bad experiences i still believe in some good projects out there.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 01, 2020, 01:44:42 PM
It's 2020 and what a time to be alive, bitcoin halving is around the corner and from history it has always favoured  the price of bitcoin and as altcoins mostly depend on Bitcoin rally to moon, we're in good hands. Try to avoid falling prey to scammers using fake giveaway to steal your coins. Increase your security and store your coins in private wallets not exchange. The market will begin recovery soon, don't be too smart wanting to cashout on every profit you see, it might make you lose future profits. Be patience, believe in the process. Cryptocurrency is the future.

Happy New year to every Bitcoiner and Altcoiners out there, 2020 is a year with numerous opportunities, don't let those opportunities pass you by but still apply caution in every decision you make in 2020. I wish you all a profitable year.
It seems that you are very positive mate about 2020, according to some people they say that the upcoming bitcoin halving will drive not just the bitcoin price but also the entire crypto market if its true will that's good news for everyone involving in cryptocurrency investment. but in my own opinion i would not rely on any speculation its better to wait until it comes.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: December 30, 2019, 03:11:46 PM
Damn these thread was right since it was written nearly three months ago, if im listen and consider it, i might save some cents of my money! and i was able to buy more if i buy those altcoins in todays price. But its too late already i'm done selling despite losing some of its value. I hoping that in 2020 it will be more favorable market condition to all of us so that we can get back our losses.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Purpose of Binance when list fetch&celer is to kill all of their low-capial user on: December 30, 2019, 02:51:34 PM
I don't think so, why are you blaming binance of your losses, that's totally disgusting you should consider the risk before you invest on that project, i'm a binance user since 2017 i'm also experienced losing many times already but i didn't blaming anyone because it was my own action in the first place and i already know the risk associated with it before i was investing in any projects, or any trading sessions thats why don't blame anyone with your own lapses.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is dead these days, what next in the market? STO? IEO? on: December 29, 2019, 11:29:08 AM
In the last 2 years ICO has gone upto peak level with many projects.
Now ICO market is completely gone because of 90% projects fallen into scam category.
Many startups made huge money and in return they pay nothing.
So whats new these days as a trusted token offering model?

For me ICO is not yet totally dead. since some are still running these days and even collected some funds, but it was shrink too much compare to the first six months of 2019. and for the IEO for me its not doing well also it seems the investors are hesitant to invest in IEO specially in those project that was launch on the small and unknown exchange. But if the IEO was launch on Binance, Kucoin and other big known exchange it might me totally different when it comes the results. STO was silence in the past months maybe it will be more active in 2020, btw there is another form of offering called "IMO" Initial Model Offering i think it was exclusively offered in IMO platform.
1708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 28, 2019, 03:28:33 PM
In case libra coin will get approval from US Securities,
Will it dominate the cryptocurrency market?
Currently Bitcoin has dominance of 68% in the market.
Will Libra coin reduce the dominance of Bitcoin market?

No its not going to happen, in case that facebook cryptocurrency libra was successfully launched and already in used, in my humble opinion I think "it cannot dominate the bitcoin market" because libra was design to be a stablecoin meaning it will not fluctuate much like bitcoin does since it was pegged by US dollar in that case i'm sure it will not catch or surpass the bitcoin price and market dominance for the mean time.
1709  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 28, 2019, 03:12:35 PM
I think its a bad sign for cryptocurrency industry, first its Youtube now its Playstore as we all know that Google has own these two important services. It seems that they are trying to slow down the cryptocurrency advances in some other ways by cutting its vital access to the traditional and useful services like Youtube and Playstore im not sure if how long it will be implemented, But i check today in Playstore it seems other ETH wallet application and most of cryptocurrency wallet app was still downloadable on Playstore. if Google was after on all crypto related apps it should be all that has affected by now but its not. I think it's only a mistake on the Google reviewers side. let's hope it was only a mistake and not intended.
1710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOs on: December 27, 2019, 11:57:33 AM
Anybody here who had a great experience with IEOs? It's been months since I've joined an IEO and I didn't have a good experience yet (bounties). Let me know if there is any hope in here.
I've been trying to participate in some IEO's in Kucoin and Binance but i have no luck to buy any tokens, since IEO tokens was just sold in seconds, But in the other exchange these time it was Coinbene i was able to participate in their token offerings called Moonbase and i was successfully bought some tokens that was give me five times in returns. it was just like Kucoin and Binance the fastest can get some tokens because its just sold in seconds I hope i can participate in Moonbase again sometime.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 26, 2019, 02:14:23 PM
2019 is finally coming to an end, i can't help but keep thinking that huge money will flow into crypto world soon, here are few reasons to back my claim

1. Banks are very slow in their reaction towards virtual currencies yet by now over 70% of central banks around the world are looking into crypto.

2. Major changes will surely rise because bigger transnational organizations are showing interest in crypto.

3. China is really leading the way with their upcoming owned central bank digital currency (CBDC) which will be the first of its kind.

4. To add to this list of mine i read somewhere that Mark Zuckerberg is pointing out to China as the reasons why U.S should act quickly in regard to crypto, he personally believes that U.S needs to see more progress with cryptocurrencies.

Honestly i believe Libra is supposed to bring a new huge changes to the world of international transactions but who can predict what will happen about Libra? Because Bitcoin is still the mother of all cryptocurrencies and Libra still relies on fiat currencies as underlying assets. Bitcoin is decentralized and other crypto assets with their own use cases and purposes will likely keep existing side by side of bitcoin. Wrong? Or Right? Drop me your points
I think US still afraid of cryptocurrency domination with its own currency the US dollar. if the facebook's cryptocurrency Libra will become successfully launched and use with its billions of facebook users worldwide im sure it was a really big development to watch that maybe can affect the US dollar superiority in the long run. that's why US regulators still doubting in the cryptocurrency development particularly the Facebook cryptocurrency project called Libra.
1712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 25, 2019, 02:45:36 PM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

I agree with you mate! scammers are already changing their techniques on how to approached the cautious and already doubted investors, that's why investors should be more vigilant regarding these matter and just apply extra precaution in all of your dealings specially when investing. Its very noticeable in some ICO's today that they are changing their methods in that case i was already doubting of their true intentions, maybe masquerading something? btw i'm not saying that it was all of them but remember just choose wisely.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with XRP now? on: December 25, 2019, 02:29:24 PM
Ripple is now valued at $10B thanks to a new $200M investment round. However, the price of its actual token keeps declining and remains among the worst performers of 2019.

Ripple has had a string of good news recently, but the same can’t be said for the XRP token itself.

Source link here

Despite that they did gained $200M investment and worth $10 billion in valuation, it didn't impact XRP's price.

It continues to decline. It means that it's a possibility that the bulls are no longer interested in XRP, as they are more focused in Bitcoin's dominance. They can't even get past Ethereum now, despite that they did overtake Ethereum a few times in CoinMarketCap rankings.

What does this mean now for XRP holders? Do you think it's worth buying now? Maybe if you're a long-term thinker, it might "moon" later on rather than sooner.

I would like to hear more about your reactions on this one, especially XRP holders.
Its nothing new about it was the same status in the last year december 2018 when the most of the cryptocurrency was experiencing a massive dump of its price and valuation, one of the many reasons is maybe the investors got panicked for the left and right negativity that hovering around the crypto space and off course the holidays, investors needs money for the holidays that's why selling some of its XRP holdings is just normal thing at this time. I believe that $200 Million dollars worth of so called investment will not immediately taking effect maybe it gains positively in 2020, XRP still the 3rd largest cryptocurrency in the market according to CMC so it means a lot.
1714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arbitrage bot or not? on: December 23, 2019, 01:47:53 PM
I have recently started arbitrage trading since i found a platform that displays arbitrage pairs.

My question is do you guys use bots for such trading or do you do it manually?

If you are using bots, can you recommend some?
Honestly i don't even try any automated trading method, since 2017 til today im just do it manually by myself. But i just try to use a trading terminal recently but i stop using it since i find it more complicated to use and every time im afraid that my trading account will be compromised, my friend told me to try to use bot to make my trading sessions automated, But i refuse since i have a doubt about bots and any automated trading platforms.
1715  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Chainlink destined for New Highs in 2020? on: December 22, 2019, 04:27:48 PM
I think its a positive prediction about ChainLink! but only time can tell when it happens, As we all know that cryptocurrency market is very weird in terms of price movement, high volatility rate because of its unusual fluctuation, that's why it can only rely on the Chainlink development strategies to spur demand that can drive the price of its token in the near future.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Dumps Its XRP Holdings Like the Plustoken Scam Does, Claims Analyst on: December 22, 2019, 04:08:59 PM
I thinks its very noticeable and very obvious, first they targeted Eth the 2nd largest cryptocurrency by Market Capitalization, by sensationalizing the issue with Vitalik Buterin selling its 30k ethereum during its price peak. Now they targeted XRP the top 3 cryptocurrency base on CMC ranking and the worst is they comparing it to the plustoken shit, after XRP who's next Tether,EOS etc. i have a doubt of these so called analyst that's why i don't just believe easily in any information that i receive without proper validation.
1717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin regulations and their future implications on: December 21, 2019, 09:05:29 AM
Governments (especially the US) have recently announced that they will be regulating stablecoins within the mainstream world. This has been a result of Facebook's Libra stablecoin announcement which has kept many governments worried about digital currencies taking over the existent financial infrastructure. If they start regulating stablecoins, you can expect the growth of the crypto industry to start slowing down at an unprecedented rate. These digital assets have been a safe-haven for many investors worldwide looking to protect their capital in crypto's volatile prices across the market.

Considering that the US is a country with strict regulations against crypto and Blockchain technology, they might become a headache for mainstream businesses and companies looking to provide stablecoin solutions for US customers. While crypto is in fact decentralized, it still depends on the government's approval to succeed within the mainstream world. Nobody would use something that is declared "illegal" despite being possible to use it regardless of imposed regulations from worldwide governments.

Do you think regulating stablecoins is a good idea? What are the future implications of stablecoin regulation? Huh
I think its good for the stablecoins that pegged with the U.S dollars to be regulated since they are using a legitimate currency such as the U.S dollars to backed its stablecoin, and retain its valuation but my question is not all stablecoins are backed with U.S dollars. how about those stablecoins that was pegged with gold? for me it should not be subjected for regulation since it was not a sizeable asset class, unlike the fiat (U.S dollar). it was a standard government issue that's why the risk of being hook by the regulators is high.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 21, 2019, 08:33:32 AM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

What are your experience: positive or negative.
Honestly saying how i wish to sell my eth early so that it has gain more value unlike this time its just $126 dollars it was less a few bucks compare to the previous months. My ultimate reason for selling my eth is because of the holidays and its coming that's why everyone in the christian world was need a money for the celebration. that's why selling some of our altcoin holdings is just normal during this time i think its a reasonable choice.

1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Peak = $ 1,432.99 USD (Jan 13 2018) on: December 20, 2019, 12:22:36 PM
In your opinion, does the founder of Ethereum (Vitalik) still have tens of thousands of personal ETH?
I have read an article about Ethereum for $ 1,432.99 USD (13 Jan 2018) and in a written statement that (Vitalik) sold 30,000 of his personal ETH at the same time. but I forgot the link.

BTW, for example (Vitalik) still has tens of thousands of ETH or hasn't sold all of its assets at the time, so I think Ethereum still has a big chance to reach the highest price again.
how about your mind?
That was the time i missed up, and regret much when i was sold all my eth in early 2017 without anticipating that eth price would be that high in early 2018. BTW Mr. Buterin has the right to sold some of its holdings because he was one of the founder and own that said eth and no one can question about that. I believe Mr. Buterin has own some eth on his holdings until now, because he was still active in ethereum ecosystem that simple so it might be a big reason. and in the point of returning the ethereum price to that peak again i think its impossible to happen because the bubble has been blown up already and showing up the reality of the crypto industry today for me it was a very rough journey ahead in 2020 and that was my opinion.
