1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: March 16, 2017, 11:18:50 PM
I just wonder if these are not working kind of activities, how people will be following these till today. They must be successful by following some superstitions and that is the reason they are still following them. But it will not work hundred percent but may crack success most of the times imho.
I agree with that reason, otherwise all the people around the world will not be following some kind of superstitions.
In Indian culture people are very much showing interest on astrology and I do hear some people are using astrology for their trading as well as for their gambling.
Still, I'm not sure about their success rate. But they are using it because they are finding it is useful as per their belief.
There may be two different cases here. Some people are just following their ancestors words and without benefits also the might be repeating it. And the other case would be what you have said. They find it beneficial and that is the reason, they are following those superstitions/astrology.

Still I'm not ready to accept because there will be no differences between believing superstitions and our luck.
Yes, how we cannot be sure about our luck same way we cannot be sure about superstitions will work all the times. But people to believe on superstitions will maximize the possibility of being lucky that is the reason they are following superstitions and they are pushing their luck to come and work for them to find profits in gambling. Not just in gambling I believe people are using superstitions everywhere.

But there will be no statistics to support superstitions and not to follow superstitions. People go for again random attempts by having one extra belief through superstitions along with the basic dependent factor luck.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy for dice from faucet - Non self-moderated topic. on: March 16, 2017, 10:31:56 PM
Using faucets just for entertainment purpose and testing our strategies would be the right approach/strategy as most of the faucet earning are very small and could not be enough for withstanding against strategies.
I believe this must be a good idea to make use of faucets when we are not finding ourselves successful in generating any strategy to make profits out of faucets of gambling sites. The people will switch over to entertainment in gambling after they find they are not successful with profit making ideas of gambling. Finally for them, using faucets for entertainment would be the right option.
I guess I am already into this this 'working' strategy as I am using faucets for getting my entertainment from gambling. When I am just a gambling for entertainment I may get chances to make profits. It will happen very rarely, but believe my words it had happened more than five times.

Going random with faucets worked for me, still I'm not here to discourage people who are in searching for developing strategies for faucets.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you like 0% house edge casino games? on: March 16, 2017, 06:44:58 AM
I think the site will not survive for long term except they rigged the bet without being notice or the site has massive capital to survive
Player who like 0% HE must re-think before they got scam on the future.

Yes it sounds fishy , how can you have a 0% house edge? It means something is wrong somewhere and they are up to something especially a long term ripoff which starts with building up trust from the potential players.
I beg to differ because there are so many casinos, a casino may think of this idea and get gamblers on their site, there are two possible things from there on, one is they increase their edge with increasing gamblers or the second is they let the things as it is and I am quote sure that gamblers would still loose.

Gamblers mainly lose because of greed and always winning more and more mentality and not because of house edge. House edge just worsen the case.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: how much do you earn with 25$ investment on: March 15, 2017, 02:41:48 PM
With that amount as starting capital the possible profit that I can get from it will be unpredictable. That will depend on what type of investment I can make, I will certainly go with trading and that will be hard to assume what can be the output of it. I'll just buy those coins that has a lot of investors and pump and dump groups and probably I can double that in less than week.
I think you didn't looked at this main post and just hurried to make this post of yours. Basically he is not asking ideas instead he is trying to give an e-book's first page that further will tell us how to double our money like nothing   Grin ( yes Angels do exist Tongue )

In such a time where people suffer to earn even 5-10% of their bitcoins this guy doubles his money and is ready to share his method, well, enough for today I think.
1705  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible for us to hack some gambling sites? on: March 15, 2017, 08:24:18 AM
You can hack every casino you want, but you must be prepared from the circumstances that will come up. Hacking is an unethical activity and it will really be a reason to put you in jail.
Hacking all about programs and knowledge, so do you know how to hack? Can you find vulnerable spots from the security of the said gambling casino. It is possible to hack any casinos, but it is really hard and gambling sites are made to hack proof.
Not always you can hack any casino you want, because if a casino uses a fullproof method then you cannot even hack a single satoshi out of them.

There have been cases where user scammed the site and then the site filled those holes, but not everyone is able to find those leak holes and not all the sites have those holes.

And yeah having a criminal mindset is not good as if you always think of such ideas and one day you actually become successful then you will be rather more unsuccessful as you will have to face legal punishments.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 13, 2017, 07:18:50 PM
In my opinion, bitcoin wont die. It wont happen . Because nowadays many people started to prefer bitcoin over fiat currencies because of its wonderful features. Bitcoin's price can crash if many countries ban the usage of bitcoin. Or if any hacking or anything similar to that happens,  definitely its price will crash. But it wont die.
agreed, it can take a hit, but cryptocurrencies are here to stay. And the governments know it, so I doubt they will ban it...the sooner they can find a way to regulate it though, the quicker it will become the new standard.
The beauty of bitcoins is that even if a hacker hacks half the bitcoins then still he has to sell them in market, right ?
and in doing so the hacker himself gives rise to the market as more people would buy and hence again growing community.

I agree with you completely here and bitcoins may just die in one situation if miners stop mining bitcoins, which is not gonna happen as it has become as a million dollars industrial business.

In every aspects bitcoins satisfy the basic aspects of general economics. Hence, sudden falling down not at all possible.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Fraud on: March 12, 2017, 11:52:53 PM
to ensure security in the bitcoin transactions and prevent fraud, it may be very useful to use escrow. but, it is very difficult to find it. if no escrow, try to see the feedback obtained by the site, whether it is good or not. you can see a site with comments from previous visitors.
Well tell me once site or shop that scammed a buyer, I mean that accepted bitcoins and scammed .. show me please !
Because it's the sellers who are always scammed and another drawback with chargeback is that if chargebacks are enabled then the currency would be of course centralized which is not the case with bitcoins.

While Bitcoin is very easy for fraud due to its pseudonymity and convenience, trusted vendors who begin to accept Bitcoin will always be legitimate.  If, for example, Amazon started accepting Bitcoin payments, it's not like they would scam people just because people are paying with Bitcoin.  What's important is that the site verifies their owners and other details about their business.
You are right the non reversible mode is actually taken as a positive rather than a negative aspect. By the way mate amazon hasn't yet started to accept bitcoins as far as I know, though there are indirect ways available to do that but not directly. I think apart from an escrow there is not much that user's can do to void scammers.

1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 02, 2017, 03:51:04 AM
It will always be a big help for us and if you are already an experienced gambler you really have a set of mind on what is the best thing to do when you are into such situations. Like if you are already losing a lot of bitcoins but you want to recover it, you know what to do and that is not by being not panicking at all.
Your experience  enable you to take the right decision on right time.
While gambling for a long time you become able to know all the thin in gambling, therefore it become easy for you to understand the entire situation and take the right decision. I think experience make man perfect.

But we need to choose the right gambling type to make use of maximum from my gambling. Because all gambling are not using our experiences in same level.

1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about bonuses on btc casino ? on: February 27, 2017, 01:56:59 PM
I don't care about these bonuses as the require a high wager requirement which is very stressful and almost impossible.
Afaik the best bonuses to sign up for are the no deposit bonuses offered by new casino to their customers.
No deposit bonuses would really be great on testing out your luck but results are still expected and most wager requirement or roll over is very high which means luck would surely depend if you would able to make money on those bonuses or not as long you dont deposited your money its still worth to try.

It is very simple that if gamblers can make money from these bonuses, then no casinos will come up with these bonuses because they are not running a charity show instead they want to earn money and make more profits for them and not for gamblers. If you understand this simple think, then no one will go for these bonuses instead they play with a small amount and enjoy these games for a while.
If a person is losing in casino and then the casino is giving you bonus may be less than 5% of his investment so I do not think that it is such a big bonus just a little compensations for the gambler who have lost a lot of money in gambling. And for very little time a gambler get benefit from bonus.
1712  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: February 27, 2017, 12:34:46 PM
bitcoin I managed to save is about 1 BTC, because I was new here, so not many places that I worked

Wow not bad for a newbie. I wish that I was that good with you too. Because I'm not able to save 1 bitcoin the same with what you did. And as of now, I wasn't still manage to get close to my aim which is 2 bitcoin and my first aim is to reach first 1.5 BTC I do believe that I'm going to reach that amount in the future.

If we keep on working on it continuously then one day we can definitely have 1 btc in our wallet but the fact is if we are earning only from signature campaign then it will take long time to reach that amount so if we want to get their quick then we should follow multiple ways of earning bitcoins.

It depends on how hard you are going to work because in my situation even how hard I'm going to work there are a lot of things that I need to shoulder such as monthly expenses, maintenance and other stuffs that needs to allocate my financial assets. But I'm not losing hope that one day I'll be good as this newbie.
We all have been there buddy, but I recently discovered that the best way to save bitcoin is just not spending it instead I found another part time job at a call center and that is how I can afford both my bills and save my bitcoin, probably at some point I will start selling it and then rebuying since everyone does that.
1713  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: February 26, 2017, 09:16:08 PM
i think it was possible in past but now it is becoming difficult. because the users of bitcoin are now increasing and now it is becoming difficult for a single person to manipulate the price of bitcoin. in fact bitcoin is a decentralize currency and not under the control of any person or state.
That is not entirely true, it cannot be controlled by a certain person but it is controlled by the Chinese miners, it is true that bitcoin is decentralized but 70% of the user base is located in china and that makes them the ones who control the price if they decide not to sell or hold and that is what is happening now.

I remember theymos has mentioned ref. links are allowed when the post is complete relevant to it. Still I am not sure. Requesting anyone to confirm this.
Never talk without proper proof. Because that may misguide people. Could you get us link for theymos post ?
I read many times in beginners and help section only signature space is allowed for ref links.
1715  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC surpass Gold in price? on: February 13, 2017, 01:01:23 PM
BY what means, we are comparing 1 ounce gold prices with 1 bitcoin prices ?
It is just a physiological comparison as we are referring bitcoin as gold 2.0 or digital gold. There would be no logical relevance between these two.

Bitcoin is being predicted to have more demand in near future whereas bitcoin demand may remain same. Hence bitcoin will be having prices in millions but hardly in next 5 years gold may reach $1500 or $2000 levels.
1716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin trap more new user in coming years on: February 13, 2017, 12:29:25 PM
As I had encountered that day by day more people are joining bitcoin inspite of its sky rocketing price and day by day more and more government and other agencies are coming against bitcoin so will bitcoin stay alive and will it be able to invite new user in the network?
Yes, there will no surprises that the system which is capable of easing life will definitely attract more people to embrace it.

In this digital world, bitcoin must be a right solution for our financial freedom, so like how mobile technology and internet had conquered the world, we can expect bitcoin as the next thing to be part of human life in very near future.
1717  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to be a signature campaign manager? on: February 13, 2017, 08:44:40 AM
Thats impressive. Sign me up. How do I become a manager?
Please do not just target how much you will be earning. Being a campaign manager is a highly responsible job. You need to work for a better environment of this forum. You need strong policies for spam control and policies against scammers.

Otherwise you can not sustain here as a good and preferable manager. Still I wish good luck, gain knowledge and come forward to manage us !
1718  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Are Online Wallets safe ? on: February 13, 2017, 07:36:30 AM
Simply NO, always save your coins in local wallet.

Of course local wallet are more safe then webwallet, but there's no way to access your funds when you are out of home
Quite the opposite in my opinion, local wallets are just basically storing your bitcoin on your pc which can be compromised by any malware and that can cause you to lose your bitcoin, however online wallets are designed to be totally secure and the keys are stored on servers, so they are pretty safe.
Those servers cannot be trusted all the times. Compared to that, storing bitcoins in a cold storage must be a good practice in my experience. Online wallets are good only when you are needing mobility of accessing your wallet from more than one place. Probably web wallets might be safer but basically bitcoins stay beyond our control.
1719  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best online btc wallet on: February 13, 2017, 07:15:14 AM
hi all,

pretty new here and would like to hear your suggestions before starting. my question is: which is in yr opinion the best online btc wallet and why?

i'd like to start investing something but still not really sure on what is the best way to handle it

many thanks Smiley

My best online wallet is Coinbase . I am using it the beginning of the time when I joined bitcoin world. Coinbase wallet is easy to use. It has also an android app. This wallet is safe and secure to me. I have set 2FA authentication. So no one can log on my account if they hack my Gmail. The features I like most is, There is no transaction fees,  Its totally free to use.
Not only Coinbase uses 2FA, Xapo also use it in order to prevent the wallet from getting hacked, whenever you log in from a different ip or when you process a transaction relatively with big amount, you must enter second factor authentication.
I think this is the best security model that is why many bitcoiners are starting to use it not just wallets but also as a money transfer hub.
1720  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 13, 2017, 06:01:25 AM
Everyone won't just sell all the bitcoin leading to zero transaction. Very small chances were there for this to happen.
Even if we assume it will happen like all the bitcoins will be moved into cold storage and no one will be ready to spend bitcoin and only mining reward bitcoins are generated on every block. This definitely will not mean a situation of dying.

Because people still have faith on bitcoin that is the reason they are saving it. When people lose their faith then anything unexpected may happen. That is the only situation which is the answer for this topic.
