I decided to take the plunge and use the new client on my main wallet today. I'll give that a go once the network has fininshed syncing. I added all the hosts to the magi.conf but still taking forever to find new hosts. I will see if it has found any more tomorrow.
Here are the two nodes I have on my servers: addnode=104.128.225.215

Its strange how slowly the new wallet find new connections compared to the old one. Looking forward to the release version. Quiet weekend on the Magi forums - I guess everybody must be enjoying the sun. Trading volume is holding up - managed to get enough trades in to push some (very small) funds into Bittrex, so I'll see if I can help improve the liquidity there and when the funds increase further will work on some arbitrage. I'll also use any potential POI earnings to help the Bittrex liquidity.
Was on my way back home. Holidays are over, back to normal life! Back to Magi!  I thought you may have been away on vacation, as things have been pretty quiet on here. I hope you had a great time away. Thanks amigo, Yes we had a great time. |

Indeed, very strange - but interesting. There were two massive walls on either side and they vanished into thin air. LOL Do you guys know that all this is happening to make others sell at lower prices? At least that's what I'm thinking. Strong point Mozsi. That might be a reason. I think the best thing for Magi is focus more on developments, new services & marketing. Magi is a community currency and if we all help with these goals Magi will enter the top 50 for sure! Is there any good reason to this pump? Or is just money injected by devs?
Don't get me wrong, but this is pure manipulation(if there isn't any good reason).
Think more people joining the awesome Magi community. New wallet release and other developments dev is working on could give Magi a boost. I can tell for sure that dev is not injecting money to raise the value. Dev is injecting a lot of time! But no worries you can ask everything here amigo. |

There is a lot of activity on the markets today - but not so much on Magi, then I realised that there is not much liquidity in the market (On polo only 2000XMG for sale up to 2990sat and and only 10000XMG in demand for upto 2200sat), I'm going to release a bit more BTC/XMG into the XMG market - and its a good opportunity for everybody if you want to place buy or sell orders. There is hardly anything in the 2000-3000 satoshi range
Thanks guys, there is a lot more liquidity in the market now - We now have 24,000 XMG up to 3000sat and 25,000 XMG from 2000sat+ in sell orders. The poloniex market is looking 10 times healthier than this morning Definitely good news for Magi! Now it would be best to hold on tight onto your XMG coins as this will probably get very interesting in the next days. Magi is finally on Poloniex and it may soon spread to other exchanges once it becomes extremely popular. I have no doubt that it will be the best alt coin yet! Prices have remained relatively stable so that is a good sign that XMG is a safe investment. Just my opinion.  I agree to hold onto the majority of coins - but its still good to offer a small amount to the exchanges, if there is no Magi for people to buy then the coin will not be so tempting for the large investors. That's why I'm holding 80% of my coin and using the other 20% to the market no matter what the price is (and with the recent volatility my 20% holding has increased to 30%) Awesome, there has been a massive spike in XMG - 15BTC have invested in the last 24 hours =) Price just leaped all the way to 5.5K And, I just noticed that the price of 5,000 is being secured with a wall of 7BTC. Very exciting times for the MagiCoin... The wall has now increased to 11BTC. That's pretty substantial, I think somebody is prepared to draw a large quantity XMG in before driving a pump, market cap is up to $181,000. Wow Thats awesome! |

Yep, there is a bit more activity now, its good for everybody if we have liquidity in the market I'm trying to keep at least 20% of my Magi stock on the market on either buy or sell orders. I don't know why but my Sweetspot miner tell me "Connection lost. Going full speed." and so I can't take advantage of the block reward change. Any solution ?
