If XMG trading volumn keeps so low,I am worried poloniex may delist it in the future.

Over 5BTC was traded today and there have been many price movements over the last couple of weeks and there is much more liquidity now than 2-3 weeks ago (best i've seen for a while), I think XMG should be fine.

I suggest the Dev to have a new development plan to add some new features into new version XMG.

The Developer has said that everyone should go ahead and
use the new wallet 1.3.0rc1.  It works great for me, and it's
much faster.  (Backup your wallet.dat file before upgrading!)

This new wallet has helped get us some increased interest and
trading, and I think the developer is working on more great
things for Magi.

It is good to hear from him once in a while, and he has been
very active lately.  This builds confidence for sure.

I tried the above wallet faced an issue (while re-organizing coins in my wallet, i sent few coins to the same address and it didn't do anything other than deducting the transaction fees). As stated clearly, this wallet is still not ready for production use. You can use it for your testing purpose but its advised to use the production versions and not the developer versions (revisions)

I didn't try this yet, as I'm waiting for the production version. But I think there are some settings for the conf file that do the reorg. Some of the other guys have been using it so may be able to advise. The conf file should be in %APPDATA%\magi, but it isn't created by default, and I'm not sure on the filename.

The following lines are added to the conf (but not sure if that carries out the splitting automatically or if you still need to transfer your money (I'm sure one of the guys using the new wallet will help here),
Code:
# Transaction under stake with a value greater than the threshold is being splitted
stakesplitthreshold=600

# Transactions with values less than the threshold will combine into one
stakecombinethreshold=30
Release notes for the new wallet are here: -

Create the file (name it magi.conf) and adjust the settings to the numbers you want, then restart wallet.  Location of the file is (%APPDATA%\magi).  The above numbers should work 600 and 30, I personally prefer larger block sizes and am using:
stakesplitthreshold=2200
stakecombinethreshold=800

This is maintaining my block sizes right around 1100 which stake daily and when I receive smaller amounts from mining I just manually combine them to one of the larger blocks about once a day.  It's working great and the wallet is much faster.

The above entries were there in my magi.conf but they didn't help my wallet to stake so the solution given to me was to increase my block size in bigger chunks (1000+) so was trying to send using the newly released development version which gave me the problem mentioned above. Anyway, i am waiting for the new stable release..

Certainly there are lot of improvements in the new wallet right  from loading/syncing etc...It's just that the regrouping/sending back to the same address didn't work for me...i tried doing it twice but failed on both the occasions (transaction id's below)...anyway no complaints, will just try with my old stable wallet and continue with staking..thanks for all the help.

# posii=0 to disable PoS staking; default = 1
posii=1
# Transaction under stake with a value greater than the threshold is being splitted
stakesplitthreshold=150
# Transactions with values less than the threshold will combine into one
stakecombinethreshold=74

split inputs that are bigger than 150, combine more into one if input is lower than 74.

outcome is lots of inputs between 149,99 and 74.0, and they stake but don't split, they will split when input grows beyond 150.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/address.dws?9EhEeSrQZtypYgHhXhastzrBUnjXc1ZyRQ.htm

check "stake"

transactions with fees are manual!

you have too old coins, my observations is that beyond 12-15 000 confirmations they will never split, resend them manually if they get that old!

I realise that I should have asked this question earlier.

Is anybody managing to actively reduce their hash rate during low block reward periods since SweetSpot stopped doing this actively? I've been running on 50% power since then but its not optimal. I'm wondering if anybody is actively monitoring the rewards and adjusting - or just taking a hit during low reward times.

Would be interesting to know.

I got similar results but on only a smaller scale, I'm still building my Magi funds. Magi rocks. The pump has added much more activity and liquidity to the market. Hopefully there are more people aware of the coin and active on the markets now.
