If OP was going to start being correct it would be now. We are breaking upwards with a 2nd positive daily bar above price action which has contained BTC price for a long time. All it has to do to get the higher prices is build this kind of momentum to take apart any resistance above. It can happen, we've seen it before even after quite serious negative set backs. My own take is after a period of no price movement, suddenly moving off can release alot of interest and trades that otherwise were lying dormant.

Gold and precious metals have lost their luster and shine.
Gold was once considered a badge of authenticity, robustness and reliability. Today it is an archaic and potentially obsolete unit of exchange. People no longer trust or respect gold the way they did in previous eras.
There is no gold for the people. As an asset it is mainly accessible to central banks and the super wealthy. Banks like JP morgan are even going so far as to reduce accessbility to gold by closing safe deposit box services.
Gold lacks infrastructure and support for exchange in markets. It can't be used to buy a cup of coffee. There is no support for it in eras of natural disaster, war or emergency. The overwhelming majority would not know what to do with a bar of gold or silver if one somehow fell out of the sky and landed in front of them.
I think central banks amassing gold is a futile exercise. The public is too disconnected from gold for it to carry much trust or sway the way it did in previous eras.
Gold's day has passed and it is now other assets which will gain prominence.
I think that the time of gold has passed long ago and it is no longer necessary to use it as an investment tool. As in the example I quoted, I do not find it right for central banks to invest in gold anymore. They must keep up with innovations. On the one hand, I might still be interested in Bitcoin in order to store value without it being centralised, keeping it out of the banking services. Although that can be done in other ways, such as via stablecoins.
On the other hand, it would completely lose its purpose and meaning. What's the point of storing and hoarding something that will gain no value in the upcoming years? I think that the majority of us are here because we're anticipating that Bitcoin's value will increase in the future.
Having bitcoins volatility is what keeping us interested buying and hodling it for long term because we know in the future that it will give us huge returns 5x or even 10x from its capital. That is why a lot of us put more investments in bitcoin compared to fiat. Now, if the value gets stable and will always be fixed, whats the use of buying low and selling high? If thats the case, then maybe I would prioritize fiat in the end. Bitcoin means something to all of us. Many of us rely on this system. On the other hand, we want to increase our capital 2x 5x. Suppose a fixed price view is adopted. Will it be the bitcoin we dream of then? I don't think so. Investing takes courage. There is always risk. Perhaps this is the biggest reason why we love this market. If something is going to be stable, it shouldn't be bitcoin. |

There are many list of stable coins but only the best are USDT and BUSD, although can't predict it because it's still risky to hold long term but at some point we have to keep USDT to avoid bear market, so even though it's top stable coin but we just check every update and will convert to top coin if stable coin has problem. You are right about the convenience of having stablecoins to buy cryptocurrencies in case of a fall, but still in case of a bad scenario you will not have time to use USDT or BUSD because they have a locking mechanism. If something goes wrong, all holders will be left with blocked funds, which is the main risk of stablecoins. We always have to think about the worst-case scenario to protect our capital. As @fzkto said you can't do anything in any lock state. Instead, I can make a suggestion. If you are someone who advances with the logic of hodl, you may not keep your money in stable coins. That's why I never recommend anyone to do leverage trading because the chance you will loss your money is really high and it's not good for newbie. Spot trading and using stop loss is enough if you're doing trading, but for people who doesn't care with trading can do investing.
Personally I'm prefer to invest rather than trading since candlestick, signal, market movement etc is doesn't give you 100% guarantee.
Sometimes the biggest lesson is to make a mistake. Most of the transactions made without knowing the structure of the market result in a loss. So we have to act very carefully. There is no such thing as a 100% guarantee in the market. It's the same with investing. All of them have certain risks.
Now market is pumping like crazy,its obvious we won't go back to 18k or below.
