1701  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Announcement] Avalon ASIC Batch #1 Ships on: March 12, 2013, 08:56:14 PM
Grats Bogart, enjoy. Grin
1702  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: March 12, 2013, 07:23:37 PM
It appears as though a batch 1 Avalon order holder located in the US is receiving a package shipped via DHL from Hong Kong tomorrow.

Update on that same order:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137534.msg1601008#msg1601008

Hope we are next.

+1

If there's only a small gap between batch 1 and batch 2 shipments we'll do well.
1703  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 12, 2013, 07:11:14 PM
That, or you may make money if ASICMINER's future unknown plans about scaling beyond 50 Thash/s with more efficient chips turn out to be at least moderately successful. Maybe they will but that is not certain at all.

...or the competition continues to fall flat on their face.
1704  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where to order ASIICS? on: March 12, 2013, 08:24:38 AM
Hey, so, Inaba... *cough*
I'll take that Minirig if he doesn't want it.
Limo won't be needed.
thx bb <3

He sold that minirig last June, so how is he supposed to give it to you or me? They're five month's late and counting, have just unnecessarily destroyed 20% of their first(tiny) batch of chips and this "executive" is placing public wagers with other people's undelivered mining gear. I wonder if this a trick he learned from Sonny or if this kind of double spend behavior comes to BFL's COO naturally.

BFL is like a comic book approximation of a real company. Smiley

Says the man we've just demonstrated is a confirmed liar.

Screw comic books, CreativeX is the real thing.  A real, live, lying dirtbag.  He is what's called a pathological liar - a pathological liar can be shown he's lying, just like we've done here with CreativeX, and the pathological liar continues to maintain the fiction, as CreativeX is attempting to do here.  What's sad about this is CreativeX does this on purpose, I believe he can probably help himself, but he needs to feel important, so he makes up falsehoods to garner attention for himself.  Eh... whatever I suppose.  If that's what keeps him going throughout the day, I suppose there's no much to be done about it.

Everyone has seen what he is, so that's all that really matters.

LOL at turning down a minirig because it's "too much trouble" to post information he's already compiled... oh, sorry, I mean because "Someone else already purchased it."  Riiight.

blah blah see above.

IT'S NOT YOURS TO SELL OR GIVE AWAY
1705  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LEGAL COURSE of ACTION Discussion --- bASIC / BitcoinASIC on: March 12, 2013, 08:08:44 AM

I'm one of your first bASIC customers (low order number) and did not receive a refund. Pay that damn refund instead of posting bullshit.

+1

Still waiting for that BTC refund too Tom. May I suggest you stop talking trash, refund everyone's BTC as you should already have done, and then work on getting the tag removed?
1706  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Are the Avalon ASICS shipped or not? on: March 12, 2013, 07:50:03 AM
Ask Jeff how much BTC he mined so far with his fake machine
If it is fake, why bother?  Id rather know how I can get paid to help promote a pre-order scam.
My fake machines mined BTC 18 in one day, that is good enough for me

My fake machine mined 18000000 BTC in one minute.  Is that good enough for you too?
How about some pictures?  Better yet some video?

I feel like this is a kidnapping of peoples money.
Everyone claims "It will be ok, you don't need proof of life."

I am looking for proof of ASCI life.  Why is that so hard to find?
Google is no help.

If you have one, can you please show some video?
You can leave it turned on, plugged in, and mining.
Just show it and the screen mining, with speed, and that the screen isn't KVM'ed to another room full of GPUs etc.
Should be easy.
I'll make a video of whatever funny "you were right, I was wrong" quote in return.

Proof please.

WOW

Even the con men over at BFL have finally gotten around to posting up pictures of ASIC chips at this point and you STILL don't believe they exist? Roll Eyes

Gotta keep those pre-order funds for products they don't have rollin' in to keep the lights on right?

1710  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: March 11, 2013, 09:55:02 AM
BFL is staffed with chronic liars doing what chronic liars do. They're in violation of FTC prompt delivery rules and have been for months. Placing an order with them at this time is a huge risk as their cash flow could go negative at any time(if it hasn't already) or they could be shut down by the authorities.

1711  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL worth it now? on: March 10, 2013, 05:28:56 AM
400 SC Singles a day for the next 3 months means about 36,500 SC Singles. At $1300 a pop, you're really telling me that you expect BFL to take $47 Million USD in preorders, AND ship all of those units in the next 3 months? Ya, I don't think so, for either of those 2 accounts.

What, you don't believe Josh? He's promised to finish shipping all preorders in under 2 months.

http://forums.butterflylabs.com/pre-sales-questions/1084-if-i-order-now-when-will-i-get-my-order.html

Quote from: BFL_Josh
The currently estimated shipping time frame if you were to order today is the end of April or Beginning of May.

That's my problem with BFL. It's not that I think they're a scam in the sense that they'll run off with the money, I think they're a scam for constantly lying about the situation. That estimate quoted above is TOTAL BS and never ever should have been released. Just like when Josh trolls here and suggests the bets against BFL shipping dates are "foolish" then those that bet against BFL win. Telling people in mid December they may receive their shipments before the end of the year was outright fraud and this crap is SOP for BFL. They're costing anyone that believes them $$$ with their dishonest business practices.

The very idea that their first batch of 4000 chips could be at the packagers now and they could even suggest that they'll ship a working ASIC next week is insulting. There are many steps between packaging chips and shipping a working product. Do your own due dilligence and don't fall for this rubbish.
1717  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICminer user ranking on BTC Guild on: March 08, 2013, 07:11:29 AM
Hm, 67117 secret reveaed, it is proxy pool, probably SLUSH's.

Some kind of detective work there Columbo. Roll Eyes

Yea, some kind of a little detective work. I still doubt ASIC miner exist. No real proof, no video footage of real-time work. GPU miners has thousands of videos , ASIC's none, and they consume milions $ of preorders. Before month  i decide to buy some of BFL's but i realise  this is hoax and planned to build my self, unfortunately it is big investment.

Keep beating that drum bud, the list of people you're calling liars grows daily. ASIC mining gear is real...get over it.

BFL isn't a hoax, they're trying to build ASICs, they just like lying about shipping dates.

How can you knock silver?

Its showed annual gains each year for the last 10yrs. It has been around for thousands of years as a currency. Silver is the best electrical conductor there is meaning in order to produce electronics, you need silver.

So people use silver as jewelry, investment purposes, industrial purposes & more. You guys talking about btc are right in the sense that it gained enormous value seemingly overnight, but it wont have consistent gains like PM's. Silver + Gold is a long term investment. Something you buy today and don't worry about cashing in until 10, 15, 20yrs down the road.

+1

Don't forget about one of the fastest growing applications of silver yet, solar panels. Panel manufacturers are huge consumers of silver and it's very unlikely it will ever be recovered once consumed.

Gold + Silver + BTC = solid investments. Diversify.
