1701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: April 28, 2017, 08:13:10 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Bitcoin is great but it is completely crazy to depend completely on bitcoin for your economic well being it is better to maintain several investments in several financial instruments instead of putting all your eggs on the same basket.
I think it's the right decision to invest all the bitcoin you have in the form of bitcoin. If you're really looking for profit from bitcoin, you should do that, and wait a while until bitcoin prices go up, maybe you can wait for the price to go up next year, because that would be very profitable.
Investing all money into one opportunity now a days become a right decision due to the promises we are getting from bitcoin's future value. Before bitcoin, I guess no one would have opted for only one opportunity to go with their all investments. I guess we can continue this trend for next 5 to 10 years also as bitcoin value will find rapid surge in coming years.

Moreover, I remember many people have shared they had not at all any saving before introduction of bitcoins, so I believe there would be nothing wrong having only one saving in the form of bitcoins.
1702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Utilize Your Bitcoins on: April 28, 2017, 08:00:50 PM
many ways you can do to take advantage of bitcoin. The easiest thing is to do a holding bitcoin.
stretcher way is very easy because in some future time you can take advantage of yan action you do.
You can use Bitcoin to invest in some ICOs instead of waiting for its prices to go up. It is not getting up easily like in the 2016 anymore. Ethereum and litecoin will be the best way to multiply your money
But, if you closely watch litecoin was sleeping for years and with segwit debate it got some appreciations. ETH seems so popular now but it has some hype among crypto users and I am not sure how long people will be having the same. I am already utilizing my fiat by converting into bitcoins and I am not looking for another round of utilization.
1703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: "You have not payed you Bitcoin capital gain tax"? on: April 28, 2017, 07:47:00 PM
Does it yet exist any person who has been contact by their tax authority with the message "You have not payed you Bitcoin capital gain tax"?

I do not know about any such person.
I guess I never need to worry about such a warning call as I am not converting my bitcoins into cash and more importantly I am not using any web wallets. Only few exchanges are having my email ID but I believe they are beyond the control of my government/tax authorities.

I believe no one will be bothering about my bitcoin saving. Hence I believe I am safer side already.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to your BTC and alts if you died ? on: April 28, 2017, 07:31:06 PM
I have accumulated some Bitcoin and other alts. Most of my holdings are in a single wallet yet I have a few on different platforms and one left on an exchange. I have tried to explain this to my spouse yet there is not a full understanding. If I died I am confident that all of this would not be recovered.

This weeks project is to write an encrypted note detailing where are the holdings are and how to access them. Even with access, the knowledge is not there to be able to convert the holdings to fiat if necessary.

What is your situation ?

This is a good thread. It open my mind to what might happen if I don't left my bitcoin to my family. I'll probably write done details instruction on how to access my wallet just in case. I haven't open to my family regarding bitcoin so this might be a good idea to start right now. All my hard work earning/saving bitcoin will put to nothing if I don't have someone know about it and transfer my knowledge. Good candidate is my wife and my youngest kid who is very inclined to technology. We never know what will happened in future so I'm going to transfer all information moving forward.
Yes indeed it is. It has made me think of the situation as well. Like me and you we may have some other friends who had never thought of it before. I do maintain a daily diary and write things in it but not in that much detail.

I am going to write in detail about all my bitcoin and alts that I have, also I am thinking of something to make some visuals of it so it may put ease for my family. I am in continuous plans about these, because I could not make any concrete solution as of now. I believe we will be getting any easy methods/tools for solving these problems.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin digital gold or digital cash? on: April 28, 2017, 06:45:42 PM
Gold is used as a store of value and its price differs from time to time. This complies with bitcoins.
Cash is used to pay for goods/services. Bitcoins are used to do that as well.

So basically it's both of them at the same time and it's some futuristic technology Cheesy
But gold has lost its application of being a medium of exchange long time before itself but still gold is the most preferred store of value. Similarly bitcoin is now being used for both store of value and for medium of exchange.

Here are all just focused on digital based application of bitcoins but bitcoin can have physical format too hence it is not just digital based asset. It is a type of cash and a variation of gold still it is available in both digital and physical format.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 100 Ways To Earn Bitcoin ★★★★★ on: April 28, 2017, 06:17:15 PM
Im working as a bartender and i would say its possible to sell drinks and food for BTC!
Yeah, it depends on one's own interest of implementing BTC usage from small businesses. Now the plan stated in the above quote is good but he won't be profited much in the beginning as the people who are aware of bitcoin usage as a currency is low and upcoming years the goodness can be expected.
Alcohol drinks for bitcoin is already happening in many cities and pizza and similar fast food are available for bitcoin payments even in small cities with direct merchant acceptance or with some third party services. I guess, we need to study on the local bitcoiner base before starting accepting bitcoin payments.

But promoting by explaining the advantages adopting bitcoin system may work for double the benefits (new people will adopt bitcoin and will start using new bitcoin based services).
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: April 28, 2017, 06:06:46 PM
I'm feeling a that bitcoin will have a good price at the end of the year, like around $2000. What I'm currently afraid of is the big dump coming soon. I hope I wrong because I don't want that to happened. But looking at data historically, bitcoin has able to recover pretty quick when there is a crash. So I can only speculate that $2000 recovery at the end of the year.
Bitcoin currently is in a very good stat and I am hopeful that it will do well in the future as well. I am seeing its price above $3000 in the year 2017. The signs of it being dump are nowhere now. It can only be dumped by any of the altcoin but not possible in the coming two or years or may be a decade will it take, if they provide much better chances of earning.

Other than prices, I am expecting major market giants like amazon and walmart to start accepting bitcoin payments this year, that may give a boost the prices to reach beyond $3000 levels too.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: April 28, 2017, 05:43:29 PM
I rarely gamble, but sometimes play dice. I took free 0,00000500 btc and win 0,01 btc. So far this is my record.
Honestly only those occasional gamblers are successful as far as I have observed. Still making 10 mBTC from 500 satoshi in dicing gambling must be a very big achievement, no regular gambler could imagine for this. Occasional gamblers are usually making their most of the win or loss in one or two attempts itself.

I just find myself jealous on seeing your stats, being a regular gambler is only good for finding entertainment and definitely not for thinking about making profits from gambling.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is winning the Race - Bitcoin or Paypal? on: April 28, 2017, 04:49:38 PM
Many say that paypal is the best payment processor, but, paypal can not or very difficult to use to play gambling. Well, paypal limits its members to some things.
I am not seeing any gambling sites are accepting PayPal as scammers may file chargeback once they finish up their works with the gambling site. Only very sites are allowing its members to withdraw using PayPal, most of them not allowing for adding money for bankroll.

Considering the advantages and problem free nature of bitcoins, both gamblers and gambling houses are enjoying more benefits compare to the case of adopting PayPal payment system.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this man addicted to gambling? on: April 28, 2017, 12:46:07 PM
I really dont think the said man is an addict, if he was really an addict he will spend every hour of the day on the site and if he is able to take 1-2 days off from the site, that clearly shows that he has got a gripe on the whole thing and thats really smart of him not using his own money.

I think it still depends on how much he spends and not really the length of time or frequency of his gambling. If he spends more than what he can afford to lose then that is a tell tale sign that he is addicted. Which should not be the case for any responsible gambler.
Responsibility and gambling are completely controversing each other. I mean to say any responsible person will never prefer to gamble. Even he got opportunities to get introduced to gambling, he will never continue it so those responsible people never come into the dangers of getting gambling addictions.

Only a irresponsible person will be going for gambling and suffering with its addiction and finally finding their life struggling in between quitting and continuing it.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 28, 2017, 08:18:25 AM
You have to forget that ou handle with money. Just think these chips are points or something like this. Concentrate on strategy not on big wins.

If you will  concentrate on the strategy still that will lead you to become greedy. It's better that you should put your hands off with your money temporarily so that you won't be thinking about your greediness. And always think that you shouldn't go for more profit, as long as you had enough win that matters.
But without concentrating on our strategy, how we can have the highly mattering enough win ? So controverting.

Greedy is a psychological failure and when we are having the capability to control our emotions, we can get rid of being greedy. Until not getting ready emotionally for gambling, no gambler could escape from this emotional failure.

Having a strategy and making profits will be good for every gambler but thinking of making more profits will lead to greediness which is the root cause of most of the gambling problems. Setting some limit and quitting once reaching those limits will be a practical solution but not that easy to follow.
1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: April 28, 2017, 07:10:32 AM
According to preev bitcoin price right now is 1378 US Dollars
Preev is referring more than one exchange for showing us weighted price and due to bitfinex's premium fees its prices are $100 ahead than rest of world so we cannot be sure the actual demand for bitcoin is reaching $1378 as of now.

this prediction might be possible to be achieved if price continues to rise but most probably price would plunge down since prices is really high right now and this point of price commonly is the point where traders who hold short term sell and plans to rebuy at a lower price. I really do hope that OP's prediction will come true.
To realize this prediction, I do not think we will be needing 30 days. Because the hype of SEC's reconsideration on winklevoss brother's etf application may drive bitcoin prices to reach $1500 or even $2000 levels at any time which might be sooner than 30 days as per my analysis.
1713  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: April 27, 2017, 08:45:55 PM
How I wish that I would become rich because of bitcion. For me its not that rich. Atleast I can afford my needs everyday and sometimes I can afford my wants. That is enough for me as long as I am giving all I want for my self especially to my family. Bitcoin is so useful for me. It will help me to conquer poverty by the help of bitcoin.
Yes, it is definitely a forum which is helping to many other people like us to even make out that much of it so we can easily live our lives.

Also by getting rich doesn’t mean that everyone will become a billionaire but the truth is that your lifestyle will be improved and this is what currently it is doing to me and to you. It can be very helpful for anyone in future if he saves it.
1714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: April 26, 2017, 07:57:08 PM
I wait to bounce back, whatever time it will take? Except some very rare cases of shitcoins, if you bought a great altcoin, it will bounce back. Whatever time it takes to me, even a few years, I will wait ! If you do not sell you do not lose money !
Yeah when it comes to altcoins trading I always trade with caution and I never go big because they are risky all the time, and they could go down at any moment so when I lose I won’t lose much, in trading you have to have an exit strategy that way you are able to minimize your losses and avoid losing all of your cap, and also diversifying helps a lot , that way losing in one coins may prove profitable in another that way you are able to cut your losses from the first one.

I prefer waiting sometimes when the clouds seem to have a silver lining and during those times, I see my decisions turning true too
With bitcoin trading we can have this plan. But not for altcoin trading, because waiting might kill all your trading plans in the case of altcoin trading.
1715  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Professional Trader on: April 22, 2017, 02:05:16 PM
I think the professional traders personal characteristics was self discipline, self-control/know how to control emotion. Those virtues I think is a sign of professional traders which traders supposed to be have it Wink
There are tons of the characteristics which will be deciding the profit level of one trader. I believe only the profits and the frequency of profit will be deciding a trader as a professional or not.

I'm not seeing only very few characteristics will be helping traders to become as a professional traders because if it is not that much simpler one then we will be having more number of successful traders but actually trading is not working in that way.

Making profits from trading is a highly challenging job and every trader is working hard for their personal profits and in this process they are finding themselves as a professional traders.
1716  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT SCAM | NEED TO BOYCOTT THIS SCAM EXCHANGE | NEXT CRYPTY | SCAM ICO | on: April 22, 2017, 01:37:36 PM
I do keep on hearing about many complaints on yobit exchange. They are now notoriously known for manipulations of currency pairs just to trap innocent traders by creating fake hypes.

The real incident I have observed with : they are having the minimum trade volume as 10k satoshi. It means we cannot trade any cryptocurrency which are lesser than 10k satoshi value. But I noticed there are pairs which are being bought at constant volume of 0.1 but their equivalent btc value is less than 5k satoshi. It means exchange itself into manipulation ? or they are manintaing any VIP status for modified minimum requirements on trade volume ?
1717  Economy / Marketplace / Re: question on money making guides on: April 22, 2017, 12:59:03 PM
The problem with these guides too is that they often tend to be useless because most of them are just either scams, investing in scams (HYIPS) or just plainly over saturated methods that could possibly earn but not really. So, I guess people should just avoid it. I've seen plenty of them and not really anyone of them works. Why would anyone want to share a money making guide anyway, if they are profiting from it?
Yes, people do create these kind of guides not with the intention of helping people but to advertise their referral/affiliate links. Or they are getting paid to post some examples in their guides. Every guide will be having some real time scenarios there they will be using paid contents and most of the time they will be having some ranking system of available services, for maintaining higher rank they are getting paid.

I have personally tried few money making guides, after long analysis I have concluded those authers must be getting paid for maintaining those guides.
1718  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: April 22, 2017, 12:36:02 PM
May be more profitable gambling sites than the datting site . Well, gambling sites sometimes give us giveaway with huge prizes, and dating sites, may not give us a bonus for women (LOL)  Grin , so if it's a money issue, then gambling sites are more profitable.
Now a days even dating sites are too coming with many giveaways. In some analysis, both gambling and dating sites competitively profitable but I guess managing and enhancing features are very much easier with dating sites whereas gambling sites are facing market saturation as per industry statistics.

Even I will go for gambling site if you give me choices because dating sites are somewhat modified version of porn related things.
1719  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Suggest a new project on: April 22, 2017, 08:22:36 AM
In 1995, I did "file recovery" as my degree project for win OS to recover permanently deleted files. But now we can find "undelete" functionality everywhere (thank you for getting me a chance to recall my college days).

You can think of bitcoin payment related stuff like enabling your local merchants to adopt bitcoin payments just by installing some patches to their existing software or api integration for internet shopping portals.
1720  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Invest 2 btc on: April 22, 2017, 07:58:52 AM
I need Someone who like To invest To earn minimum 5 btc

48h investment

Pm me To get more info
What is the minimum of investment?  I like to earn 5btc but i can oly invest 0.01 btc is this enough or i should go lower? Pm me if you want to deal with me as.i already said i cant invest more than 0.01 btc.
Even they ask for 0.001 btc as minimum investments, I will never trust them. Earning money is not that much simpler one and that is the reason I never want to try any ponzi.

The mentioned 48hr time frame remainds me, this may be kind of doubling program. No need to explain, they may pay in in the beginning days once when they accommodate enough amount of bitcoins, they will run away. I believe already thousand similar kind of announcement were made but people here still responding/want to try these, then what is the purpose of having this forum and spreading awareness.
