1701  Other / Archival / Re: Harm to the environment from BTC mining - a fiction? on: February 14, 2022, 01:01:35 PM
If bitcoin mining is so much trouble then imagine what will happen when STARLINK will be fully operational. I mean the whole hundreds of satellites will be pointing out laser beams in the earth’s atmosphere heating it up and creating buzz in the ionospheric layer.

I’m not sure if they have visioned this or not but that’s gonna be one of the topic of discussion.

My question is, how come one technology which is just came to the matured stage of its advancement is hampering the environment?

Cars and trucks running since hundred years, industries are at its peak. I’m not sure what’s wrong with small stuff like mining?
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: Now who are the owner of Bitfinex hacked Bitcoins which are now recovered? on: February 14, 2022, 03:44:15 AM
This is an interesting thought I had recently too.

The hacked funds were taking in cryptocurrencies but a lot of the payouts and buybacks were done in fiat. Since it was in 2016 it started and took a few years for people to be paid back, bitfinex might have to refund people their crypto but they might find a reason not to...

It’s also unclear to me who and what decides that whose accounts were hampered? Like when we say exchanger got hacked, does it mean that there is only one core wallet like that in bank which was stolen and thus every user is hampered with it? Or the hack was on individuals account and thus accounting to that big amount which was stolen back in time!!

It’s little tricky to understand. Since the news articles only publish superficial reviews of incidence it’s always unclear to me what might have exactly happened!
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: February 13, 2022, 07:03:10 PM
I used to but now I’m always one step ahead while buying the crypto. Mostly focusing on bitcoin and few of the hot listed altcoins in market. For example, I was pretty sure that I am going to buy some coins for my portfolio in the year 2022 start. However things turned so good that the market was crashing and crashed so much that what I was going to spend got multiplied even further. This is because I knew that if I miss this then I will be a cry baby afterwards when the market jumps to higher green candle. So yup, it’s best advice to those who think they have the time. Well you don’t have it, you have to make it your luxury by buying at the right time.
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 13, 2022, 05:45:41 PM
I think it’s way better than getting criminal acts imposed on you for possessing the crypto currencies. I read somewhere that Russia is planning to take legal actions on the Russians who posses more than 8,000 USD in crypto currency. I see that India is just imposing proper taxes on the crypto currencies and they are not banning or taking any heavy charges for possessing the same. In fact it’s amazing that highly populated country like India is doing this. Their government is being reasonable for the future. They will both trying to gain more income and also letting their people to enjoy it.
1705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we wrong? Bitcoin or Blockchain what does Satoshi actually mean? on: February 13, 2022, 04:42:47 PM
Since Mr. Satoshi never showed up in front of the world that is biggest missing piece from the blockchain element. I envy that this guy made unrealistic world for us with endless possibilities to tackle the modern problems of data integrity. May be he showed us the way to better privacy and strong infra to run traditional banking. However, the world has changed everything to the profit making machine!

Everyone started to make their own projects, whether mega institutions or IT companies; everything is gone wrong I believe.

They literally evolved way to brokerage companies, market manipulation techniques, and looking at it as way to make money.

There is no harm, but there is possibility that the story could have been different for Blockchain.
1706  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 13, 2022, 04:35:51 PM
Trying luck on different casinos these days. Can anyone please direct me to the easy slots to get started with Roobet? I keep seeing some twitch competition promotions all the time on Twitter accounts of few users and we can win like answering some question that the streamer asks?

How this works and when the live party is hosted for this particular game show. Also would love to hear from you guys regarding the same if anyone of you have ever participated in this and what’s the level of difficulty for the same?
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, led by Changpeng Zhao, is taking a $200 million stake in Forbes on: February 12, 2022, 08:29:47 PM
Good read. After gaining professional charm in the global market every business has to sustain their strategies in the later times. In short, Binance has made it to the upper side of ladder, now all they have to do is get into media publicity, stay in the news, while we read it and eat our breakfast.

They know very well, Binance is now brand. They just need to keep it garnishing from here onwards. Their assets are optimum to survive in any bumpy ride ahead so they can fine tune their clients.

Hope they keep their quality services upgrading to gain more fame through FORBEs.
1708  Economy / Economics / Re: Sustainability in Bitcoin Renewable Energy on: February 12, 2022, 07:45:28 PM
That’s very intelligent way to use the heat energy produced by mining farm. Definitely this is excellent but must need great detail of plan to trap and divert the energy towards logs and wood storage unit. I am not sure how are they able to do it without any energy losses but surely this project is ideal and must be followed by rest of miners around the globe.

I mean this is in the scope of mega farms only. As far as I know smaller mining farms won’t make much of the heat that can drive such big operation.  But I’m impressed to see something unique like this.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: February 12, 2022, 06:53:24 PM
I went through most of the replies here. It’s really thread of all the cool and dumb ideas altogether. It’s good to see this question but it’s very common that we usually just record our properties and assets with the WILL so that it can be passed on.

I don’t find it very hard to understand what happens if I die. More or less no one cares about us but will surely care about the assets we had as they can be utilised later in their lives.

Just make sure to give your keys to someone. Otherwise it Will contribute to low supply and high demand of bitcoin.  Grin Grin

Someone just give me power to see these numbers they wager on the site. Wagering 45 in BTC is something out of bankers wallet. I just can’t digest this one at all. How can anyone be so rich to wager 45 BTC just like that.

I mean wow that is just really so cool. At the time of sharing this post this value converts to $ 1921068!
This is happening every other day and it means this guy must be winner most of the time as he carries big load of cash. 😁

Congratulations to all those top leaderboard winners. Leader board is hot!

There is a big gap between the nr 1 and nr 2, but wagering 45 bitcoins doesn't surprise me anymore. Every site has several high rollers that sometimes place bets with 1 or 2 BTC/per bet... There are several players on multiple sites that have already wagered more than 1 billion $!

That’s truly nuts! May be this is new for me because the amount they wager is the money I may earn in next ten years with overtime work.  Cheesy Freebitcoin is surely getting huge bonuses out of this and that’s why the revenue can be easily shared in the form of free coins. This site has become way way stable now. I think with the fiat valuation increasing each year they might just become highly profitable givers ever.

May be the way I wager 1-2 dollars, is the way they wager 1-2 BTC. I don’t know, but this will always surprise me. It’s just big roll. Sigh!

1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wouy you improve about Bitcoin if you had the chance ? on: February 11, 2022, 07:00:19 PM
I am not much into the technical field like you guys but I would just love to see that bitcoin is getting sent and received in simplest manner. For example with QR code scanning apps or those used in Asian country like India through their Unified Payment System (Google Pay etc.)

I want that freedom from bitcoin. I would go and tell all the developers to work on that first if I had the chance to do so.

Just imagine the world after this. All the humanity would get connected with the crypto space and bring up whole new chapter for its valuation.
1713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hire Crypto Trader on: February 11, 2022, 06:35:01 PM
Wow this is something new. First of all it’s worth noting that gaining profits from signal groups is perfect myth. I never seen anyone becoming successful trader from such groups. Moreover when you say it’s group then I am pretty sure there are huge number of investors into it and thus you are making bunch of millionaires everyday. Though I don’t see much of them but let’s understand it’s really in solved mystery how you guys do this or have guts to do this. Robbing investors money. Now hiring the manager for this group means you will need experienced mastermind of robbery.  Cheesy
1714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 11, 2022, 04:35:53 PM
That’s really terrible to read. I’m not sure at what point you started the trading and what was your skill pursuance at the time; but I’m sure gaming is something one should not really believe at first glance. Remember that whenever it is money related matter you should think hundred times before investing. I mean if you are salaried person then that’s the first priority. I understand that being on fixed income we always tend to go ahead and make another income sources for ourselves but we have to be very careful how we spend it.

There is nothing about Binance here frankly. It’s all about how much you know trading and limits of your trade too.

I like your idea and I use it often to buy FUN tokens when the price is low,so far from April that I started with 2500 I have managed by using this strategy together with the help of using the RP to convert in what I think has netted me more FUN tokens which was the Free 1000% Btc bonus plus the spins as you say, right now I am at 14.000 and some more.Lately though I just convinced "my partner in crime" which is my cousin to invest like 0.01 Bitcoin and to go to 50.000 FUN as a minimum meanwhile we increase that stash during our holding with the WoF spins and me playing daily the rolls and getting more and more RP.If it raise in price we are both winners,we have invested before together in mining in 2016 up to 2019 and we made quite a lot of money,I told him it is time to repeat that now and he agreed one more time,we may even invest more like up to 0.05 Bitcoin if we see fit but we start at 50.000 FUN as a minimum.
As long as your plan is not just simply make profit from increasing price of fun token, but also use the abilities that you get from it, you should be fine. You have to remember, this is a utility one, and if your plan is to buy and hold and do nothing else and hope that the price goes up, then you are not taking advantage of all that it brings and that doesn't make sense.

The real profit with fun token is using it and when you start using it then you become a bit more richer and you earn a bit more. I personally bought only for that, I actually considered that amount to be "spent" on getting these rights and ignore the value I have in fun tokens, just for this purpose.

Definitely I feel very lucky because I have entered into freebitcoin recently and started with the premium membership after buying the FUN at the bottom rate. Nonetheless considering the history of FUN price I see myself in profit already and would be getting benefits along the way.

I am not worried about prices here, I was actually more prone to testing out the wheel of fortune. It’s really “fun” to play it and it does add colours to your portfolio by adding those small small daily fortunes (satoshi, RP, Lottery etc).
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: School Students learning bitcoin basics in Slovakia.. on: February 10, 2022, 08:12:50 PM
I see this one as supercool. In the current event it’s much much needed to showcase the new generation whole new world of financing. Though it’s gonna get injected way slowly in the market; it’s off to a great start. Student are nothing but the future of their national development and how they look at the systems that run it.

So pretty impressive that they are preparing them for the same. I just hope that they also add up blockchain associated studies when they go to high school level and graduate study. Depending on the interest they might just evolve it further to unimaginable use case.

I wonder if we can withdraw btc from an account to another account's deposit address without any issues Huh

What do you mean by that?
Are you saying that you wanna withdraw btc from one freebitcoin account to another freebitcoin account ?

Because if that’s the case then I’m pretty sure you are doing illegal approach here. You are not allowed to make more than one account, if you do so and found out then surely mods will disable both the exposed accounts.

So anyone would care less to answer you in this regards.
1718  Economy / Economics / Re: Phishing SMS claiming Binance. on: February 08, 2022, 05:45:51 PM
Actually not only this but the crypto space is bursted with whole new kinda scams all the time. Things are so worst that the phishing can also come from small games to video links on your smartphone and you would never know about it. I have seen incidences where normal gaming apps were able to mine crypto on your phones without you knowing about it.

I’m so surprised that these guys can literally get access to your devices over internet sitting thousands of miles away and you would never know until such alarming.m notices come over social network.

Unfortunately many of them loose confidential info and monetary stuff by the time we come to know about it.

Too horrifying. The more it is giving freedom the more it wants to take back.
1719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: February 08, 2022, 05:06:19 PM
It seems at the time of writing my post bulls are getting stronger. The bitcoin is up heavily and other coins are following too. My portfolio is already up and coming close to break even point. Though I had bought my coins above these rates, I took great opportunity of buying when the bear was strong. However, I still suspect that market has not come to the stronger resistance. The movement is all about certain news from Tesla and Saylor going nuts o ln purchasing huge amounts. I think it’s mix of push factor rather than real up surge. Interesting to see the next step.

@winz.io

Thanks for amazing promotion up here for the Punk Toilet slot. I want to ask if there is any minimum deposit requirement to avail this promotion?

Like how does my account handler will know that I have deposited for the purpose of playing Punk toilet and not any other game? Or is it site wide promotion and automatically applied by WINZ?

Also, after getting the free spins are they valid in my account for specific period or I can use them at any later time?
