1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 02, 2023, 09:16:26 PM
It's true that it's difficult to predict and Brentford was able to win again with a big team, but indeed Liverpool's attack was much better in the second half but still, that didn't mean they had a good chance even though they tried several times but damn it was Brentford's strong defense and that's a defense which is great.

On the other hand, Liverpool was too focused on building attacks but forgot that the defense was not tightened and as a result, it was the counterattack from Brentford that scored another goal, while Liverpool's defense was a little overwhelmed to face one person.

Another nightmare for Liverpool to chase points far above it.
That's how competitions should be and that's why the Premier League has always been ahead of other domestic leagues. I think a lot of people were upset about Liverpool's loss to Brentford, before they were annoyed because Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City also dropped points. I don't know what the internal problems of these teams are, but on the pitch they seem to be doing their best.

Utilization of opportunities that are not measurable, strong opponent defense, and poor finishing have caused several top teams to lose points. Darwin has been one of the most talked about players since his arrival at Liverpool but he has proved nothing other than to put himself in the intimidation of the fans.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 02, 2023, 09:09:46 PM
This is actually what makes gambling a funny activity. It's the sensations and feelings you get while you play whether you lose or win, happy or frustrated.. However, frustration should be temporary and don't last for long otherwise gambling won't be funny anymore and you may start making bad decisions like trying to chase losses.
Somehow I never found this gambling funny. I've always been serious about gambling, but of course I've also had a lot of fun. Frustration and chasing losses are bad for those who gamble responsibly, but both feelings are always there for those who are addicted.

Oh wait, I'm an addict too and sometimes I get upset over losing but it seems like that feeling only lasts for a few minutes before I do anything else.  Wink
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 01, 2023, 11:32:01 AM
In the French league, there's a very important match today. It's PSG-Lens. In a way, we can say it's a fateful match in the championship race. The point difference is 7 and if Lens wins this match, the difference will drop to 4. But if it loses, the difference will increase to 10 points and I don't think PSG will give the championship here. We can interpret it as a fateful match for Lens.
PSG will not easily drop points after being 7 points ahead of Lens. PSG need to find a safer distance at this time in order to focus on the Champions League, meaning they need to win today's game against Lens to determine the 10-point gap. I'm sure PSG doesn't have a problem either you draw or you lose, but they need to maintain that record for something good.

On the other hand, I don't underestimate Lens, who is currently performing well with 11 wins from 16 matches so far. Lens is also very important to get 3 points, it will keep PSG closer to 4 points. Anything can happen, but PSG always convinces.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. on: January 01, 2023, 11:18:52 AM
I do hope that you plan to move bitcoin to your own non-custodial wallet, so you have complete control over your money. My suggestion is Electrum for start and then eventually a hardware wallet.
The current withdrawal fee to bitcoin wallet from binance exchange is 0.0002 btc, so if the OP wants to withdraw it to non-custodial wallet then of course he will only receive around 0.00011254 bitcoin after deducting the withdrawal fee. I don't think the OP should be doing it now as his current bitcoin value is no more than $6, but if the OP has $60, $100, or higher then I would also suggest he do so.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 01, 2023, 10:50:31 AM
I'm sorry you've had bad luck! With a point against City, Everton ends 2022 on a positive note. As far as City is concerned, the next match is more important than this one. There's no point in crying over spilled milk. There is no guarantee that Haaland will solve all of the problems. This season, City has become predictable unless they're headed into big trouble.
Many people were disappointed by Manchester City's draw against Everton. But that's one of the facts in football, there are no matches that are easy to predict even though one of them has better quality than the other team. Everton were of course lucky to be able to keep the draw until the end of the match, but it was a disappointment for the fans and Manchester City.

In the end like you said, Manchester City didn't have to regret it for too long because it was time they did a better job in their next match against Chelsea. I know it's not an easy match for both teams, but it looks like Manchester City will be the favourite.
1706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 31, 2022, 06:24:45 PM
It looks like Manchester City are far behind Arsenal because of the draw with Everton which leaves Manchester City only one point, because Arsenal will definitely get full points and the current score is 0-1 against Brighton at home, and a goal from Bukayo Saka in the 2nd minute and the game is still very far away. And there is a possibility that Arsenal will score again.
and the difference of 7 points is not easy for Manchester City because Arsenal will maintain their performance and continue to win, and the 2nd position below is more interesting because the difference in points is only a little and anything can still happen.
In the first half Manchester City did very well, but somehow they didn't look any better in the second half. This draw actually made Arsenal even more excited to win the match against Brighton where Arsenal managed to close the first half with a 2 goal lead over their opponent. If Arsenal manage to secure points in this match, then of course Pep Guardiola's job this season in the Premier League is really difficult. Arsenal at its best is still difficult to stop, and now Manchester City is more points adrift of Arsenal.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 31, 2022, 06:08:24 PM
This was the game with the highest number of yellow cards I've ever seen.
Antonio Mateu Lahoz, He is one very generous referee, he is a bit of a controversy but people will remember his name.  Grin

the only thing that is preventing us from staying at the top right now is because we conceded a lot of goals, while barcelona only conceded 6 goals, but if in the next game barcelona loses or draws and we manage to win the game then we will be on top again and I doubt it It's a lot that we dropped to second place again, anyway it was funny to see so many yellow cards in this game
And something unexpected in that match actually. I don't think Barcelona will loss points with the way they played, but they were just unlucky that Lahoz awarded Espanyol a penalty. The 1-1 score lasted until the end of the match, and we were very lucky because of this result. Now Real Madrid and Barcelona have the same points, so the competition will be even more intense between the two.
1708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 31, 2022, 05:55:55 PM
Very poor win from United as they barely scored once and it was so close to be a draw game as Wolves had their chances as well. It was a poor game from United because Wolves are literally on last place on EPL and their are having a very bad season that could end with a relegation but on same time , they do have a great squad with some great and skilled players that could pull off some goals to avoid relegation spots.
Even if you say it was a bad win from Manchester United, but I'm glad they did it today. 3 points is more important than playing well but it's difficult to score goals like Manchester City experienced in the current match. What's more fun is that Rashford has added to his goal collection this season, he was brilliant even though he only played in the second half. So this bad win is much more fun than just 1 point at the end of the fight.

City currently are losing important points vs Arsenal as they are 1-1 with Everton right now and with a lot of yellow cards in this one. Cool
Obviously it's very bad for Manchester City, but Everton really fought for 1 point even though they only created a few chances.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 09:49:25 PM
Have fun, that is the hope of most people in gambling, but the truth is that the average gambler wants money. In the early stages (before addiction) they may stick to first principles, but once they are addicted, they will try to make money off of it. Basically having fun in gambling is not something that any gambler can easily find but if they are responsible then fun can be expected.

For me only winning will make me happy in gambling, while if I lose, participating happily. I'm not hiding anything here, but it's a fact.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Can Now Be Bought Using Apple pay and Google pay On Binance on: December 30, 2022, 09:37:26 PM
What do you think of this development?
I haven't realized it yet, but thanks for your information.
It seems to me and probably most other people that this is a great move by Binance to make it easier for people to buy bitcoin. I'm not sure if they managed to reach the target they wanted to achieve, but given the increasing number of android users, of course they expect a lot of interest in this service.

I just think their efforts will make bitcoin more and more known, it's a benefit of what Binance is doing right now. I even get email from them almost every day regarding promotions, so Binance's success in achieving the target may come true. Only one thing, no matter how one buys bitcoin on a centralized exchange they should consider their own wallet for long term storage.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 30, 2022, 09:22:43 PM
They lost two player Diego Carlos and Jules Kounde at the start of the season was allegedly the reason why Sevilla in that zone for now, we know the two defenders are main key in Sevilla defense, but maybe Jorge Sampaoli will start signing new players in January. Although I haven't found any rumors about Sevilla in the winter transfer window, but they have to do it and today Sevilla still lucky to get one points, although they lost a player due to a red card.
I agree about the reasons stated, and it has clearly seen Sevilla's form drop drastically this season. Sevilla really have to spend a lot of money on the next transfer to strengthen their team again, especially in defense and forward. Sevilla have only been able to score 14 goals in 15 matches, while they have conceded 23 goals so far. They need to get out of this as soon as possible and that will keep them out of the relegation zone.

Really, it's hard for me to imagine Sevilla eventually being relegated this season, and of course that's ridiculous for them.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 30, 2022, 09:14:17 PM
Arsenal have consistency performance in this season and success managed first standing position more longer time than our expected behind 5 points from Manchester City. Usually Arsenal position habit every season in Primer Leage are out from top fourth position.

Next up Brighton Albion will show us about Arsenal can continue about their consistency performance and keep behind 5 pointa left from Manchester City. After facing Brighton Albion Arsenal waiting for bigger opponent from Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur until Manchester City, look forward how long Arsenal having consistency performance in Primer League.
Even if Arsenal are currently able to have good performances in their last 15 matches, but for me they have never been safe from other competitors. Manchester City, Tottenham and Newcastle also always have the chance to overtake Arsenal at the top so there's no way to brag at the moment. There is no word relaxed, but just enjoy. So far 5 points is not much to expect to lose in just 2 or 3 tough games, so obviously Arsenal can't underestimate anyone if they want to stay on top.

In the two ongoing matches, Brentford and Liverpool are both ahead in their respective matches. These two teams are likely to win their respective games because I don't think the opposing team (West Ham & Leicester) can equalize or win the game. But I was surprised by Liverpool's superiority, they lead of Leicester defenders' 2 own goals in this match because no Liverpool players did it.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 29, 2022, 06:07:06 PM
It's been 2 weeks since he sold his stock, and now bitcoin is not moving well either. It can be said that his sale of TSLA stock has nothing to do with bitcoin, and you need to stop following him because he doesn't love bitcoin as much as you think.
We don't know exactly where he wants to spend the money, whether it's to pay taxes or whatever he wants including investments. Elon is a smart guy, we are too stupid to think he is stupid and we are always under him. But that doesn't mean we need to follow every step of the way.

If Elon Musk wants to invest, then I'm sure he won't be throwing large sums of money at once to avoid overreacting the market. He definitely doesn't want to buy more expensive, that's obvious because he knows what he has to do as long as he believes bitcoin is very profitable in the long term. But for now, I believe the sale of his Tesla stock is not for bitcoin, but to support his other ventures or whatever.

Impressive for Newcastle: https://www.transfermarkt.com/newcastle-united/spielplan/verein/762

Winning 8/9 matches so far is something that was previously very difficult for Newcastle to achieve. In fact, they were unbeaten in those 9 matches where only Manchester United were able to steal 1 point from him. I think it's been a great season for Newcastle but I believe they have a very tough job to perform consistently like this.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2022, 05:45:51 PM
In my opinion 60m Euro should have been fair price but Liverpool made a good bargain here with 42 million. I think it has potential to reach with 50 million something, haven't read that for clear. That certainly gives them a option to use him in attack and gives Klopp a great option. As for Gakpo he has lot of years left and at Liverpool he can find the best squad and best club to hone himself. He is gonna do very well at Liverpool.
Competition for Liverpool's left wing position is now clearly going to heat up after Cody Gakpo was confirmed to come this season. Luis Diaz & Diogo Jota are tough contenders for the position, but Gakpo may soon claim his place given that the two wingers I mentioned are currently out injured.

Gakpo will be the second player from the Netherlands currently in Liverpool's squad after Virgil van Dijk. The two players both played well for their national teams at the World Cup, and now they have a lot of time together in the same team. I think Gakpo will do well at Liverpool, let's see though actually I want him to go to Manchester United.
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 29, 2022, 05:32:40 PM
An even more real big problem is that cryptocurrencies are no longer worth as much as they were worth some time ago, and here a really paradoxical situation turns out. Those who do not believe in the future prospects of cryptocurrencies try not to keep them for a long time, and those who believe in further prospects keep this asset at home.
Of course, those who have a lot of experience will believe in the long term prospects where they will try their best not to sell it at a cheap price. While some of them take advantage of short-term volatility to profit, it's like day trading or something like that. Until the market recovers, this mindset will likely remain among traders. Long-term holders know what they have to do now, while weak hands will come out and sit pretty figuring out when they will hit it.

And yes, people use cryptocurrencies according to how convenient it is to use them at this time. And at this time, cryptocurrencies are much more convenient to use as an asset, and not as currencies, because in this situation cryptocurrencies are by no means a competitor to traditional fiat currencies and I don't see any reason yet when normal states will give preference to some other people's cryptocurrencies rather than their own banknotes.
Crypto especially bitcoin has never actually competed to become the main currency in the world instead of fiat. Bitcoin is one of the best options over fiat, but I know the government doesn't want that. Its use cases have increased in some countries, the government legalized it, although so far it is still an alternative.
1717  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: December 28, 2022, 02:42:36 PM
In my opinion when the market is down like right know Im not going to spend it my crypto unless using if for daily purposes like withdrawing the crypto for a monthly bill. the best time when the market is down is to accumulate more coin and token stake it and enjoy when the bullish month coming.
Bitcoin has high price volatility, the best option when the price drops is to hold it as much as possible and it is better if you can accumulate it by placing more investment in it. There is good hope about its future and you may regret it if you sell it today.

By the way you can still refrain from selling your bitcoins during a downturn in case you still have savings or perhaps sell your other investment assets like gold or something or or a myriad of used plastic if you've been saving it. I prefer to hold bitcoin over selling them during a downturn and I tend to look for logically better options to sell.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 28, 2022, 02:24:43 PM
The opportunity for Sevilla to get out of the Relegation Zone is still open, there are still many matches that have not been played until the end of the season. Sevilla will try to find an additional three points to improve their ranking, Celta Vigo, who is one rank above Sevilla, is not an opponent that is difficult to beat.
The players that Sevilla have are better than Celta Vigo's main squad, the problem is Sevilla haven't found the best strategy that keeps them in 18th place. Sevilla will try to give their best performance to get three points in order to improve their ranking to a safe position.
You know, Sevilla is too bad this season, especially until week 14 of Laliga. 2 win, 5 draws and 7 defeats are the worst statistics for Sevilla so far this season. By the way Celta Vigo is also not much better than Sevilla, the two teams are only 1 point gap and their form this season has been same bad. But I still believe Sevilla will make it out and get in good form again.

I'm looking forward to their return to competition at the top, they should be well motivated to make it happen and the World Cup break should have let them know enough about what they have to do. Celta are playing at home, they are not to be underestimated but Sevilla and their players seem to have convinced me more to win.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 28, 2022, 02:01:04 PM
This is not the time to be afraid to face Inter. Napoli players need to strengthen their mentality in this match. Because Inter Milan is not a team that can be underestimated. Apart from that, Inter are still not in their top form, so there is still a chance to win for Napoli. Hopefully Napoli will not experience a significant impact from the world cup break and still manage to maintain their position at the top of the standings in this match. Not because i hate Inter Milan, just if AC Milan can't be the champions, just wishing the new champions will be born, that is Napoli and making the history repeated, 1986 Argentine become World Cup champion, and 1987 Napoli win Serie-A.
And I think I know what you mean Lol. Milan isn't over mate, you should know that, and I don't think Napoli will be that easy leading the table without a bit of competition. I agree that the domination of Serie A by Juventus and Inter before was something very boring, but Milan and Napoli really have to fight to squeeze between the strengths of these two dominant teams.

Milan made history last season, but this season has been very difficult, and I agree Napoli have a chance to win this season. Inter cannot be underestimated, their passion to win is definitely better than Napoli's motivation to maintain the record. The spirit of the World Cup will certainly make top teams like Inter play better, but Napoli also have a chance to win. Unbeaten record is something, and Napoli will be thinking about how to maintain it.

Not only for the shape, but also for the hunger
the team and the fans LOVE a Scudetto
they are hungry and when someone is hungry, they usually have more strength

just look at argentina at the world cup, i don't think france was inferior in quality but only in hunger
Yeps, I know it's possible. But I suspect that Napoli will not be able to live up to those high expectations this season. Everyone loves the Scudetto, including Napoli.

As I predicted earlier. that at least, Manchester United will score 2 goals in this match. although we know that Nottingham Forest is not a formidable opponent for them to conquer. However, what I mean in this match is the appearance of Manchester United's game. how they play, Ten Hag patterns and strategies are on the right track. Ten Hag's next task is simply to strengthen the chemistry and bonding even stronger.
There's no surprise about this Manchester United win, it was a win they deserved. Manchester United's players are superior if compare Nottingham Forest, and it will be very embarrassing if Manchester United loses points. Honestly it was an impressive win for Manchester United to start the second half of their campaign this season. I hope this performance can be maintained in the next match, even though once again the quality of the team is also superior to the opponent.

Manchester United next visit Wolverhampton Wanderers in late December before they host Bournemouth at Old Trafford. These two matches still make Manchester United the favorites to win, but who knows? Wolverhampton Wanderers often surprises, but maybe not if Manchester United are ahead of their opponents.
