another category would be fun to add: Licences that Solidcoin has removed or companies whose licence agreement solidcoin has broken.. might be nice as well...

SolidCoin is a big fucking scam, although I don't entirely agree that broken software licenses are the reason it is a scam.

Do you use Windows, OSX or Linux? Well all of those break countless software patents & licensing agreements.

Own an iPhone?
http://www.bgr.com/2011/12/09/sales-of-apples-iphone-ipad-banned-by-german-court/

If you are rich you can basically break any software patent/license you like and get away with it 99% of the time without paying a dime.

Coins still there ... oh what a big scammer I am.

You are still a scammer until the coins are in Raize's wallet.

Still scrutinizing the sky for Fedex aircraft to deliver first issue to Europe..

Its not Fedex aircraft your looking for, just normal airmail aircraft.

Confirmed legit. /me wishes he had ordered one.

Its still not too late to order one.

If you email them I'm sure they'll sell you the May issue, or you can wait until it goes for sale in Barnes & Nobles.

Yeah it looks like your right, 5870M can get ~190Mhash when overclocked.
1712  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Road warrior on: May 24, 2012, 10:38:19 PM
Never thought of this, its a pretty good idea.

Problem is it's very hard to mine much on a laptop. Most of the GPU's for laptops struggle to get 100Mhash.

BTC

They're bitcoins, not bitdollars.

I do agree, the thai baht symbol shouldn't be used, it should be Ƀ

1717  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How can I buy bitcoins with paypal? on: May 24, 2012, 05:05:37 PM
Many people exchange between PayPal and BTC, but I will remind everyone that it is against PayPal's TOS to do so, and if its discovered both accounts will be frozen.

Also, you will pay a much higher price when using PayPal to buy BTC due to the added risks.
1718  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: How can I buy bitcoins with paypal? on: May 24, 2012, 04:46:03 PM
Nobody should ever mention BTC & PayPal in the same sentence.

Transfer the money from your PayPal account to your bank and then wire transfer it to an exchange, or if you live in US you can withdraw it out and use BitInstant to buy Bitcoins with cash transfer the cash to an exchange in any walmart or 7/11. It'll take a few days but its the only way you should do it.

EDIT: Noticed I used BTC & PayPal in the same sentence. Must fix that.
1719  Economy / Lending / Re: Requesting a large BTC loan. on: May 24, 2012, 04:41:46 PM
Why should we lend you this rather than buying shares in a mining co-op on GLBSE?
1720  Other / Meta / Re: Unjust scammer tag on: May 24, 2012, 04:15:33 PM
Very funny how all the other folks not giving refunds are not scammer tagged but I am !

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83328.40
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=82641

I also told him in the TOS there won't be refunds !

You also said that the purchase price was 2.5BTC, so there would be no refunds on the 2.5BTC. Any extra BTC sent was not part of the deal.

I thought this was why you only have to refund 22.5BTC.

Just give him his money back, you know it doesn't belong to you, and if you don't know that then you deserve a scammer tag for life.

You could always refund him and then bring the matter to court and see what a judge has to say about it.
