Hello, i wonder if somone has similiar problem at bitstamp. If i try to withdraw btc/eur it sends me confirmation link to e-mail as usual. Problem is if i click that confirmation link nothing happens, it still shows that e-mail confirmation is needed. Does anyone of you have the same problem?

For the majority of people who would use bitcoin it doesnt matter about any of the technical stuff. All people are going to care about is if it works, how well it works and can they be ripped off. Bitcoin in its current form is a pain in the ass. Everything about it is worse then standard currency. From the way it fluctuates, its susceptibility to attacks, the amount of time it takes to purchase btc and make purchases. Etc.
Im all for an online currency. But unless btc changes it wont make it as a long term real currency.

So why would Stamp and other exchanges rally too? There was no information released regarding them. Stamp already fixed its withdrawals days ago. And IF gox withdrawals are fixed all it means is there are more coins on the market getting dumped into Stamp.

I agree another Crypto currency may take over but if it has the same limitations as bitcoin it will also not succeed. Lets be realistic. I can make a transaction with Visa in an instant with next to no fee. I am currently waiting for a transfer between wallets that has taken over 4 hours and now has a double spend error attached to it. I am semi computer literate and can not imagine why an everyday person would take the risk besides hoping to make some money off the roller coaster that is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is around for no other reason then bitcoins sake. You can call me what you like but I will assure you 100% that Bitcoin will never become mainstream in its current state. I have done transactions before and the time frame is problematic. You are wrong! Bitcoin in its current state will be used for nothing more then selling and trading with its self. it this bug is only fixed by exchangers, what about normal users? Do they still get this problem? If only exchanger can avoid this problem, the bitcoin is dead.
There's already fixes out there for clients to stop it showing unconfirmed coins on your balance. I'm sure it won't be long before they patch the reference client with a proper patch but its really just an annoyance more than anything else it just makes accounting a little bit harder / have to double check. No funds are at risk which is the main thing. Bitcoin is a new idea / technology there's always going to be bugs and really this isn't one to really worry about the bug was known about years ago. I do not think so, my transactions was modified, the sender is not mine, thus I lost fund already, because I can not get my money back by rescanning blockchain, their data is not original, now I do not know how to find the unconfirmed money back. Thus no fund are at risk is a lie. Many people lost fund already. LOL what a POS you are. Do you even know what was modified? |
