1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Time on: September 12, 2016, 09:55:32 AM
I think this year 2016 will also be remembered as a bad year for bitcoin due to recent bitfinex hack. In which 1,00,000+ bitcoin were stolen which is comparatively big and due to which market get dumped so hard.
Yeah, but in 2016 bitcoin also has good increased started about $400 and be able reach until above $700 and then bitfinex got hacked. But, as we can see that bitcoin price could recover to $600 again, we just hope it will rise in the end of this year.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: September 09, 2016, 02:10:31 PM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?
Depend on how much that you have and how much you willing to invest? You can start trading, gambling or invest on gambling sites as bankroll. Once again, if you have about 5-10btc just try as bankroll, if less than 1btc go trading, if less than 0.5 btc better to earn more by gambling in sports betting.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a gift for a baby? on: September 09, 2016, 01:02:30 PM
It's definitely a creative and thoughtful idea.  I haven't heard much on this forum about paper wallets being a security risk.  To the contrary, I think they're the hardest ones to steal--but they can get lost, damaged, burned up in a fire, etc.

Anyhow it's a great gift idea, so hopefully it goes over well.  Smiley
Yeah, it's a good birthday present when your niece just one year old and idea put it into paper wallet, she may bought a car or something that she need (education, etc) in time, about 15-20 years later when bitcoin has more higher price. Good luck with the present, she should love it.
1704  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 07, 2016, 01:47:13 PM
It's not actually earning a living with bitcoin because my earnings from bitcoin are not sufficient to meet my daily needs but it is really a big help on my budget. Bitcoin is really helpful to lots of people.
Yes its a big help because of btc i have extra money to spend for my personal needs, though i cant go full time in btc i still have time to earn btc and im contented with just that. i also have real job and business so i have to manage my time.
We can earning bitcoin for living, there are some ways to get it depend on your skills, like in this forum some people offering graphics design, editor, manager, etc. If you have more capital you can create your own site, and some people doing signature campaign for those who have the site. But if you just could have some btc for extra money, it's okay.
1705  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 07, 2016, 08:29:51 AM
I will never accept bitcoins as salary and that is not because i dont use bitcoins but what if you get 10 bitcoins each month and the first month the price is 400 dollar each and the next 200 you lose allot of money.
I will accept bitcoin as my salary, it's a good idea. We don't need to worry about the price next month will decline until $200, there will be some adjustments compare to local money if the price decline than your salary should increase as much following standard of your salary each month. That rule what we need if bitcoin become our salary.
1706  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 07, 2016, 12:11:18 AM
i will not sell it too.  i know bitcoin will not disappoint me it wll reach the way we never expect it bigger than before and ill be waiting for that time it gonna happen.

You mean to say that you will never sell your coins? If you will never sell then how you gonna enjoy profits from it? We are here to make profits and not only to hold coins and miss the opportunity of making money.

well, you can see what he says will wait for the time it happened, I thought not to sell now and sell in the future when prices really rise very high.
I don't think it's a good move if you just thinking to waiting for the price rise and sell it out into fiat money as you know there are inflation when prices of goods/services increase that cause the value of fiat money decrease but in the other hand the price of bitcoin goes up. It will better if you could use bitcoin to buy something that you need at online stores which accepted bitcoin, of course you can exchange some into fiat money but not a half of yours, just a small amount.
1707  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: September 06, 2016, 11:50:30 PM
If you need to ask for advise on how to invest your BTC then the only tip I'd like to give is, take no tip or advice you have had here so far Cheesy

Hmm, actually listening others opinions is good but taking your own decision or doing what you think is right is the thing should be done by someone.
I mean someone should always listen to others but he should always do what he think is right for him.

You should do what you like to do. Everyone will give their own opinion so it's difficult to choose what exactly should do. You should choose that option which you liked and you knew about that completely.

Yeah, opinion is just opinion, a lot of people here already give their advice and suggest what the best of their thinking to invest your bitcoin. If he didn't want to take any tip or advice here so far, he wouldn't ask about it in the first place. We sometimes ask others opinion to consider our next choice/option, it's a good thing to do since we didn't live in this world alone.
1708  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why we must trust with bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 04:54:17 PM
Remembered bitcoin is first and mostly anonymous virtual money, also now investor choosed bitcoin become best asset for invest, until when we must trusted bitcoin become part our life?

We must put our trust on Bitcoin because bitcoin has unlocked a lot of doors for us. Anonymity, irreversible and fast payments, a new community, and another world which is a combination of trolls and intelligent people. Without bitcoin, maybe half of the people in here aren't making decent amount of money everyday. That includes me, bitcoin has introduced me to a way of earning money online.

I used to stay online for a couple of hours just to interact with people on Facebook and that's just so pointless. Now, whenever I'm online, I spend my time in this forum and that has been a really good thing ever since. It kept me away from social media and it made me earn some money.

We can trust bitcoin until it vanish from all over cryptocurrencies world, as we know bitcoin has strong foundation, the price keep increasing year after year and many people, business and company used it as currency or investment so we can say it strong in number (user and price) due to it's advantages that you said like anonymity, irreversible and fast payments worldwide and so on. With all of that, we have no doubt of bitcoin.
1709  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 05, 2016, 03:14:14 PM
Not at these levels. We could go to the moon or we could crash hard.
I am just sitting on the bitcoins I have.

I like what you said there "We could go to the moon or we could crash hard."

Oh well I like bitcoin but buying some now. I can't afford it. I am just happy the bitcoins that I have.

Waiting for increase.

Yeah I think so, it's a good time to buy some amount of bitcoin because for the next days or weeks whether we go to the moon or we crash hard, bitcoin price will always get recover to the high price as before. so, we're happy with bitcoins that we have, just waiting time for the next years coming.
1710  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 01, 2016, 10:56:43 AM

Well, in my country still there are no shops or stores that accepted bitcoin as payment except for online stores. But we can exchange bitcoin to local currency and use it for daily needs.

1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 31, 2016, 07:38:10 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?

You will be coming back more often especially when you are new because base on experience we always make a new technique every time we try our old technique but it does not work, human instinct is that we will not easily give up and we will only give up when we ran out of money.

Give up is when we already  lossing out money and  we dont have any money to bet at but  if we have still funds then we surely intend to play again and again  because the aim and  hopes of  gaining back your losses is there  and  it wouldnt be remove as long as you play gambling.

Yeah, mostly people keep coming back to earn more profits or to recover their loss. I agree for they who had losses and still have money left will come back because they're not easily give up. But for me gambling just like a game that entertaining, I do enjoy it and gambling make addicted. So far I see three reasons why we keeps coming back :
1. Want to earn more profits
2. to recover our losses
3. we do enjoy it to have fun
1713  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 31, 2016, 01:57:07 AM
since i am using btc as currency for better online earning .
but i have small investment of btc with holding and trading .
both are these ways are profitable for me to get a net profit .
I see bitcoin as currency and investment too.  Mostly of us in this forum do the same thing, we use bitcoin as currency to buy something online or at the stores which accepted btc as payment.
Many option to do investment using bitcoin like he said, with holding and trading, invest as bankroll on gambling site, etc.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: August 24, 2016, 02:48:03 PM
i am so very greedy but i can handle it
when i am getting greed i will shutdown my PC lol
its better way than i have to lose all my money because of my greed
Well, it is good to know that you can control yourself but by shutting down your computer you can easily open it again and play again. I think you better not put all your money in your bitcoin wallet so you will not use all of it in gambling.
i think he mean whenever he feels greedy he just shut the computer down .

it is work actually when you turn greedy and shut the pc down you will lost the mood and instead to continue playing you will just withdraw the rest of amount you have once you turn on your pc back.
Well, I think everyone should have the way to stop their own greediness in order to not lose more than we can afford. Just like set some amount just for gambling in one wallet, so you can gambling all the way you want but only with funds on that wallet, also set target how much you wanna bet today and how much profits and then stop, no more greediness.
1715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: August 24, 2016, 06:42:46 AM
There's a reason why all of us are still here. We believe in bitcoin and we are all hoping that in the next few years we would see more development and wider adoption. But first, transaction times must be made faster for it to really break into the physical shops, stores, public utility vehicles and other transactions.
As Long as bitcoin has massive adoption worldwide like nowadays, I still believe in it will keep growing over time.
Just like the history of bitcoin since invented, it get more famous and many people using it because of it's advantages as currency.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 23, 2016, 03:18:05 PM
It is not wrong if you know how to handle your bets and know what you are doing then it is all good for you. Wink

That's right, if you can handle your gambling habit and could put wall to it so it won't affect your life if you are not gambling then  it's just fine to gamble, but if everything mess up and mixed up, then gambling is not for you and you should stop before it broke you.

Well,, gambling just ruin life who has addicted to it and get more loses than win. But many people play just for fun and give it a shot, small bet for sometimes win or loss. It would be fine if we can afford our loss, never all in for something you don't know.
1717  Other / Off-topic / Re: Old people earning bitcoins on: August 23, 2016, 01:25:05 PM
I'm 46 years old so a borderline coffin dodger.

Been into crypto for around 5 years  Smiley

had a mini GPU farm a few years ago too.

There was a study released by coinbase showing that most bitcoiner are between 22 and 35 but that still some people are younger than 22 and some are even 65! So I guess yes some old persons actually use btc, but clearly not the majority ^^

I don't know one, but that's not impossible that some with that age group are also investing/earning bitcoin. Mostly those tech-savvy people, maybe just not a member of this forum and/or not earning through signature campaign. Coindesk also had their survey last 2015 to know the average number of bitcoin user by age, and there were some recorded who are in between 45 and up. You can see the graph below:

I do think there must be some people above 45 years make bitcoins whether from signature campaign or make some investments.
we have the evidence above, so no more doubt of course
since bitcoin has many advantages that so useful for fast and anonymous transaction, its not just for person to person, some business and company using bitcoin as the currency.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: actual number of people using Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2016, 03:26:43 PM
I think no one knows about the actual number of bitcoin users and especially in this time when it is the starting ages of bitcoin adoption, it is very hard to find out that how many people are on bitcoin and how many have joined in this year or month.

yeah maybe I will be very surprised when I saw the actual total bitcoin users because this might be unexpected. probably bitcoin users has exceeded 10 million. it's my hope. I hope it really happens and I hope bitcoin user growth will continue
Its impossible to count bitcoin users right now we dont know how much we are..
10 billion is very large number for bitcoin user i think we are just hundred thousands. this is just my speculation..

you're right, just see an individual probably having 50 wallets at the same time so the amount of bitcoin users nowadays is uncertain although the amount don't really needed because it's such a useless effort to count all of bitcoin users,if you wanna see how's the bitcoin traffic, see the blockchain.info's homepage and calculate the transaction per second

Yeah, it's hard to determine the actual number of user using bitcoin due to its anonymous and every one could have more than 1 wallet.
I agree we might guess by calculate the transaction per second to every wallet site, but how about those who just hold up their bitcoin for savings? Hard to determine.
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: August 18, 2016, 06:03:12 AM
Bitcoin will stay as worth it because it will never worthless because more adoption will come in bitcoin and more company will accept bitcoin as payment so that we can spend bitcoin more in the future.
Cryptocurrency may likely be the currency for internal use or even as a means of sale on the stock exchange as a commodity. You can earn with bitcoin, and it's true. But whether it will be stable? Nobody knows.

Of course it will survive in future and bitcoin is not that weaker currency that will disappear easily, and it will be much stronger currency in future and I have total faith in it.

Well bitcoin is really a strong currency as of now and even it is still a young crypto currency we can see the fluctuation of its price and it is really good to know that it is keep on rising. Even the price fall still it is on high state. So, bitcoin is really worth to all of us if you are going to think it clearly and with its service that it gives.
I agree that bitcoin worthy, as we can see the price keep rising every year even there are some decreased. I think invest in bitcoin will makes it rise in value and more stable, we just hope that bitcoin get more famous just like anothers currencies.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 17, 2016, 08:38:30 PM
If you are a heavy gambling addict it eill wreck your life for sure. Even if yiu get rich you would probably lose all of your money on morr gambling. Gamble an amount you can afford to lose, or if you want to gamble for fun without risking your own money, try playing a gambling game not real gambling or gamble with faucets on sites that give them.

Even if you bet small in gambling but doing it regularly, for sure, it will still wreck your life...Playing using the faucet is a bit boring and sometimes the site has a restriction of how you can use your winning if it is from faucet...  Smiley But anyway, gambling didn't wreck my life nor fix it, because I stop immediately after I got bored betting and getting busy in real life.

Gambling only wreck your life if get addicted to it and always lose. I think there are three kind of people about gambling.
1. They play and get more profits (expert gambler)
2. Play and get more loses (mostly people)
3. Just play for fun, small bet sometimes win and sometimes loss.
So if you play just like number two, it may wreck your life, just stay away from gambling.
