because there is no such thing called "cheap coins", coins will be cheaper and cheaper therefore less and less people want it those who yelling for "cheap coins" are permabulls or scammers, that's why only few trolls are cheering about it

I'm of the opinion that a large buyer is purchasing off exchange blocks and dumping on exchanges to build a massive and cheap stash. Nothing else makes much sense. Sure people panic but many of the sales come when you would least expect someone to panic This guy already has a massive stash. This behaviour is not of someone selling to buy back cheap. It just isn't. It's not buying back. It's setting his price on exchanges so he can buy off-exchange. Miners / bitpay, ect use exchange prices to sell blocks. Drive down the exchange price and you get a lot more btc for your money You would think that the miners could figure out a way to manipulate the price upwards then, for their own benefit? Perhaps seriously slowing down mining when the price is this low or using some cash reserves to pump up price to sell higher? This idea that miners are selling off exchange baffles me a bit. Maybe there is something that I don't understand, but aren't miners just shooting themselves in the foot by selling off exchange. Wouldn't they just be giving someone else the power to suppress the price while at the same time losing any buying pressure on the price. If this turns out to be big miners trying to squeeze out inefficient miners, then I can see this taking a very long time to play out. try to sell 10 k + coins on bitstamp all in one go and watch what will happen with the price. |

Ask yourself one question, why is finex bid side so populated with more than 12k coins down to $300. They want these coins cheaply with margin calls.
well, I can tell you that someone is placing those asks on stamp like a pro, and bitfinex guys have a history of dumping those margin calls through some advance non automatic procedures, like placing them as asks when and where they find it suitable. maybe they are "evil manuplators"? Dashboard ------------ Exchange 1 | Exchange 2 | Exchange 3 | Exchange 4 And for each of them buttons: Dump (size 1, 2 or 3), set random asks type 1, set random asks type 2, set random bids 1, set random bids 2, set wall x on y... And then just few clicks and play the casino and the market goes the way you want. it is pretty easy to do that if you have enough funds, yes. I am more worried about those practices happening with funds of their customers. I dont trust them and I dont use them for that reason. |

If you are the market manipulator and dumper you can say this, otherwise you are just guessing. Really. welcome to the speculation sub-forum Yea that is true, but just make sure that it is not about what we want, but what they want. And any observation is true as the oposite one. If they want bounce they will market buy 2k and set bid walls, if they want to reject bounce after 15% drop in 24h, they will set walls to prevent it. They are smart. Cause they know what we think and how we behave, but we don't know how they think and what is their plan - but we know what is their end goal (but that doesn't help us much as it looks like). who are they? the machines?  they are humans like most of us, so they can be pretty predictable even in their irrationality. |

see you are wrong there, technically there is 13 million Bitcoin in existence and the annual inflation rate is around 14% , theoretically there will be 21 million after 150 years. No, there are 21M Bitcoins in existence. It's just that not all of them have been issued yet. do you mind if I ask you this: how old are you and what kind of education do you have ?
