Perhaps I can enter a video chat on whatsapp with one of the DT members and show my passport, in which there is an entry about the presence of my son, born in 2002. I'm not sure that would really help. All that would prove is that you indeed have a 17 year-old son. Unless you and your son can join the video chat together. In that case identification wouldn't really be necessary, in my opinion. By your local time setting it looks like you are in central Asia. Maybe you can convince LoyceV to participate in video call with you and your son. Maggiordome brought me here, so I'll respond quickly: I'm not going to do any video chat, because that's almost as bad as doxing myself. I had a very long day and I'm far too tired to look into the details, but if I have some time tomorrow, I'll share my opinion on this case.

The original project was already looking at archival type thermal paper that would last 20 years. Unless it gets warm, I assume ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) And that's the problem with thermal paper. Personally, I use a cheap laser printer for my paper wallets. Those seem to last at least 10 years so far. My old high school term paper was printed more than 20 years ago I have children's books that are older than that ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I've never seen a book that couldn't be read anymore, no matter how old it was. As long as the paper doesn't dissolve from getting wet (or gets eaten by bugs), I expect laser prints to last for centuries. Thermal paper is great for quick use, such as ATMs.
What's so attractive about this project is the fact that one press on a button is enough to create a new paper wallet. I could of course do that on my desktop, after rebooting from a LIVE Linux CD, but it's much more impressive to have a dedicated device for it.

If you think the other way you have room to rank up more even tho you are already a Legendary. Wans't it nice to get the same old feeling agian. You have 3 more ranks to go. Lol ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It felt different this way. And at the current rate, it'll take LoyceMobile 15 years to reach Legendary. The main problem is the tiny keyboard, I mean: look at my post history: most are very short posts. Once in a while I make a longer post, but it takes forever to use URL-tags and edit quotes. I use LoyceMobile when I'm bored, and it has many boards on ignore, so I can easy use " Show unread posts since last visit." to find topics I missed on my desktop. So no, unless I start using it on my desktop, I don't expect to rank up more. Tomorrow I'll have a mobile day, so good timing. I was too busy to post after all.

Yobit introducing a minimum merit earned would be the best approach if we are to prevent spambots from joining the campaign and I would like to make sure that people understand that there are good posters in this campaign and we aren't all abusing the system. I've actually noticed more quality posters in Yobit's campaign. Once more and more spammers get banned, the remaining users start standing out. I've offered Yobit a free list of Merit earned by each user, that would be very easy to use as a first filter and save them a ton of money they now pay to spammers. But they don't seem to care.

One of us! One of us! Gooble gobble one of us!
Finally! I was about to open a topic how Merit ruined my life, but Coolcryptovator turned my Mobile into a Full Member! Of course, Merit still ruined my life, as it should have been a Hero Member by now ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Now I won't feel so guilty anymore when I'm posting from my Mobile instead of my main account! Tomorrow I'll have a mobile day, so good timing.

I don't think Suchmoon is going to update list of Cryptotalk signature campaign participants. Less than 2 hours ago: Cryptotalk signature campaign participants 2019-10-14Suchmoon has moved the topic to Archival (I don't think Moderators have moved the topic) and there is no update since October 06. Archival is a nice dumping ground for long lists, I sometimes use that too.

I suggest to add the Jr. Members as well. I can make this for you on for instance BCTpatrol.tk if you want. It will be like WallObserver.tk, which took me 80 minutes to make. It won't show posts for the past 24 hours or even 7 days, that's rediculous considering the number of posts, but if you're interested, just let me know what would work for you. The problem with that is (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) is that there are a lot more jr. members that are somewhat active. I made something for that too: Active users and top posters on Bitcointalk.org in the past 7 days: Administrator: 6 posts (2 users) Global Moderator: 4 posts (2 users) Staff: 256 posts (16 users) VIP: 0 posts (0 users) Donator: 14 posts (6 users) Legendary: 8386 posts (506 users) Hero Member: 10165 posts (509 users) Sr. Member: 16125 posts (841 users) Full Member: 6184 posts (735 users) Member: 5352 posts (766 users) Jr. Member: 4261 posts (781 users) Newbie: 17486 posts (3766 users) Brand new: 3527 posts (1212 users) Copper Member: 2432 posts (396 users) Total: 74198 posts (9538 users)

I wonder how many more people are challenging themselves to make 20 posts daily and yet not getting tired. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I can answer that: 19! The following users posted in the past 24 hours (sorting: most posts first): 1. 27 Newbie MiningCoinsPool (BPIP) 2. 26 Legendary Deathwing (BPIP) 3. 25 Sr. Member febriyana (BPIP) 4. 25 Legendary TECSHARE (BPIP) 5. 25 Full Member vycl87 (BPIP) 6. 24 Sr. Member EdvinZ (BPIP) 7. 24 Newbie Rimidalv (BPIP) 8. 24 Hero Member wwzsocki (BPIP) 9. 23 Sr. Member gaston castano (BPIP) 10. 22 Sr. Member yazher (BPIP) 11. 21 Member Cakalasia (BPIP) 12. 21 Hero Member iwantapony (BPIP) 13. 20 Sr. Member Bttzed03 (BPIP) 14. 20 Sr. Member Bshiki (BPIP) 15. 20 Newbie K.Tumpa (BPIP) 16. 20 Hero Member game-protect (BPIP) 17. 20 Hero Member TwitchySeal (BPIP) 18. 20 Hero Member Edraket31 (BPIP) 19. 20 Full Member Rhaizan (BPIP)

From now I'll report any quote pyramid I see in Patrol. If you're bored: go to http://loyce.club/archive/posts/, pick a directory, sort by Size, and about half of the biggest posts are spamming quote pyramids.

it's unlikely that you'll find a wallet that stills uses Legacy and also supports sending to Native SegWit. Mobile wallet Mycelium supports all formats: - Tap for P2PKH
- Tap for P2SH
- Tap for Bech32
Even Bitcoin Core doesn't provide this functionality. I like being in full control of what I use.

interesting; is it possible to derive statistics/post counts for the users for the same amount of time prior to their joining the campaign and compare to while in the campaign? Suchmoon did that already: Cryptotalk signature campaign participants 2019-10-06. Short summary: most users post much more after joining the campaign.
|
|
|
It will be interesting if we can compile the list, minus the red trusted ones and see whats the count left. There's only a public list of banned accounts. I'd like to see a full list of all accounts that are still in the campaign though.

Now let's show some numbers ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) In the past 7 days, this many users have posted: Legendary: 506 users Hero Member: 509 users Sr. Member: 841 users A few more are hiding as Copper Member, Staff or other rank too. Earlier this month, suchmoon counted 451 participants in the recent Yobit campaign. Some of those had lower ranks, and by now many have been banned from the campaign by yahoo62278, and a lower number has been banned from the forum. Based on those numbers, I'm not surprised those users choose the higher Bitcoin payment over Tokens made up out of thin air. But what I'm really interested in, is if they don't have enough accounts left to join the bounties too: how many more "spare" accounts are owned by spammers? If this really is the better part of all high-ranking accounts, that means spammers are finally running out! More than 1.5 years after the introduction of Merit, that would be a small victory, even though it creates some temporary spam.

Just comes to show how careless people are in general. It only takes like what? less than 5 seconds to double check the address you're sending the funds to? There's more to it than that: when I receive a PM with a payment address, I first have to make absolutely sure it came from the real account. With email, most people don't use encryption. That makes it even more difficult to be absolutely sure the sender is who he says he is. It is a pity that something cannot be done to shorten the address like with URL shorteners There used to be a site for this, but it was discontinued (and I forgot the name). But the most unique thing about Bitcoin is being able to make payments without having to rely on third parties, and I wouldn't want to trust them for giving me the correct address. Google's first result on a search shows a site which Google says may be hacked: ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Floyce.club%2Fother%2Fthissitemaybehacked.png&t=663&c=DCI2HY1gGMQKJw) So you configure that on your own and link it to your address and when you type it, it converts the wallet description to your Bitcoin address. <This can be done on the users computer and also encrypted to protect it from hackers> I see many problems with this, but not a single way to do it absolutely safe. And even if you would make a safe implementation, you'll lose error correction. Currently, there's a 1 in 4 billion chance of making a typo in a Bitcoin address, that still leads to a valid address. If you shorten the error correction, mistakes become much more likely. Obviously people will still have to double check the end result. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) That defeats the purpose ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Both requests are trying to go through but can't find a path, I'm endeavoring to retry. That's the next problem with LN: on a desktop, it wouldn't be a problem to stay online, but on mobile, it's terrible. When paying a business, that's not a problem, but between users it is quite annoying ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Second Edit - payment request has expired, when are you on next? I'll try later, when I have time to keep it on the charger with the screen on and Eclair showing.

Can I get a LighTning TesTnet Loan? I sometimes had a hard time sending just 10,000 satoshi with on-chain LN, and I'm curious to see if this is less of a problem with LN. My theory is that Testnet channels get funded with higher amounts, and I "bought" liquidity from the node too. If I'm right, Testnet works better. And if that's the case, I'm hoping LN's problems will get less once channels get funded with higher amounts. I made 2 options: 1 m BTC: lntb1m1pw6xu7qpp5w7n39960c0dprekjguydhk27dlg7ac56fzvvmnese346h5nq7zdqdqqxqr4rqrzjqwfn3p9278ttzzpe0e00uhyxhned3j5d9acqak5emwfpflp8z2cngxqltuqqq0sqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeqqjqm2lam35ptthwkfcv6dthrkq7a6nhyah5gm0sanvnje3ae7xdng3na0hcsh7ux56fe4vu4tdd5v2k4sansztx0s8fz89lvr9zcy53t4cq03av7d 10 m BTC: lntb10m1pw6xul9pp5gku6x3fwvd8s3nlrrehzt4xr6t2p4kyjwpvv4apn76277x7x5nmqdqqxqr4rqrzjqwfn3p9278ttzzpe0e00uhyxhned3j5d9acqak5emwfpflp8z2cngxqltuqqq0sqqqqqqqlgqqqqqeqqjq9nd0esn3axe0aukt5sn3x2vwc63unwqz0cd6pxn8kc08np760q8h6axkp5ct43fe2uxesetp4u5hj5fm58xmvucx99u999umru8d8fcqa92jga (if you need more Testnet funding for this last one, just post a Testnet addy first) Both are valid for 6 hours.

I left bountyhunters.io negative feedback 11 months ago: Asks users for their "Private Key or Mnemonics" to claim bounty tokens. NEVER GIVE YOUR PRIVATE KEY TO ANYONE! Two months later, they were last online on Bitcointalk. Other than that, this topic isn't even worth bumping!
