Btw, Mr. Specultor, thx for the next round of pump and dump.
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 25, 2016, 07:17:22 PM
I expected something like this, I even asked you before why didn't u do it.

On the other hand, it might affect your numbers in a negative way. I m sure there re tons of people who used to check their bankrolls every single day and in the process play a game or two. Now only hard core gamers ll visit the website. I ll simply switch to the next one.

Still, I wish you good luck and all the best.

Everyone can see there is a new handle being formed between 260-330k we will stay there untill m2 or after m2 when more big companies will join fct.

And oh boy i cant even say where it will stop but deff much higher then eth's run

So people keep selling ur fct i would love to take them selllllll give me moar
l m pretty sure fct will explode to eth highs, before going ATH do you think fct might see an other leg down to .015-020 on D chart ?
a bullish three drives might played out before m2 release.

Thanks

It seems that speculator has withdrawn his coins again so it seems the bid side s been going down. It s possible we ll see another dump again if this tactics encompasses enough stop triggers.
1726  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 25, 2016, 05:30:28 AM
moneypot pays really a little now, but might be good option still

most safe i know of so far

They are not the only one who are paying low to their investors, almost all of them and it depends to their profit and amount of your investment.

So if you invested that really big bitcoin to them, then expect acceptable return from them. But if you are just investing your spare bitcoins.

Then don't expect too much, too good to be true. Those legit sites are being good and true to their investors.

Earnings from these investments are very slow but keeping some of our coins on these reputed sites will give good returns over the time. I have invested around 10% of my coins in these gambling bankrolls but so far not so bad, overall in profits.
Indeed its because you cant get your ROI in just months I guess it will last for years but the most important to that your investments are safe. But I didn't try yet to invest in any casinos.

Safe? What do you mean safe? Any of these casinos can disappear any day. How is this SAFE?

Nice to see price pumpers re still there. Well, I do not mind I have open positions both sides.

Still, the issue s there, the market has not perceived Factom as a GREAT investment yet, which it is. I hope it s only time we re talking about here.
1728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 24, 2016, 05:35:17 PM
The amount of people investing will not make it unprofitable as it doesn't affect the odds (house-edge). What it does is make your cut of the bankroll smaller which means a small win/loss won't affect as much. Basically the risk will be divided. Therefore there won't be as big fluctuations.

What you said it correct. But if bankroll increases then investor profit will go down, and at the same time, their risk of losing more money also will go down. House edge will be same but profit is shared between all investors so if more number investors and bigger bankroll than investor profit also will go down.

This will hold true only if the number of gamblers remains the same, or, more correctly, if the amount of money they gamble away doesn't change. Therefore, it is possible that profits may remain the same even if the bankroll increases due to more people gambling. Regarding risks, they may also remain basically at the same level because the casino might increase the maximum bet amount along with the increase in the bankroll, which would be perfectly warranted.

It s also possible less people gamble and bankroll increases and then you get even less money. Not to mention if some gambles scores big time win. In that case, it s an issue.

This is the closest to results I ve been getting

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1579210.0

Still, cloud mining is a risk, lots of things can go wrong, mining difficulty is the most important issue. BTC and LTC price is the next issue. Make sure you understand these.

[...] with 100 company's like this were looking at 1 bn a day Wink and thats a easy 400$ factoid price.

But yes all just guesses but im happy i got equity and factoids.

Yes 1b entries per day would actually require a base price (minus speculative premium) of around $400 / FCT. This would be just to avoid exhaustion of the FCT supply post-M3:

https://www.reddit.com/r/factom/comments/4zxi6e/fct_ec_and_the_factom_financial_ecosystem/

Given FCT's scalability, though, it's hard to imagine a speculative premium below several 100X, which would still be in the range of several S&P stocks's P/E, with comparatively much more limited scalability potential:

http://americasmarkets.usatoday.com/2015/03/02/the-8-most-expensive-stocks-you-can-buy/

$400?Huh My friend, I ve been into crypto long time. I ve been invested into at least dozen coins. Do you how many of these coins s had people on their forums expecting similar price. Every single one. Do you know how many reached this number? Not a SINGLE ONE.

I know you re going to say this figure s based on fundamentals and calculations. Still, Statistics s against this one.

I'm surprised that this doesn't get more attention until now:

Factom secures important paper documents on the blockchain with Smartrac
https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/factom-secures-important-paper-documents-091207833.html

Maybe not the biggest thing right now, but it seems to have some potential.

Great news and no market reaction yet. Pump incoming any second

Really strange. On the other hand, I m sure if some ass would start a forum thread saying there s some glitch in the Factom, people would dump immediately. Why FUD is always 10x stronger then really good news?

Its because all the FCT tokens are on polo and its easy for people to react to FUD on the spot vs other coins where they are forced to send them from wallets to the exchange and then sell; at which point the price has already dropped. As a result most people wont end participating in the overreaction and will often determine that its all unfounded bashing soon after. Once exodus has FCT inclusion the market will change quite a bit; won't be seeing insanely cheap loans anymore and sells walls will be drying up as shorts will have no excess supply to use.

Yes, there might be something to this hypothesis. People keep coins on Polo cause they have no real alternative and then send them to cheap margin loans which floods the market which cheap coins available for pumps and dumps. How long since testnet started? 2 weeks?
1737  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: November 23, 2016, 05:50:42 AM
I'm really conflicted on these mining contracts and their premise, maybe someone can give me some pointers.

I bought a contract for 30 TH/s with Hashflare and about 60% of my daily profits go towards electricity and fees, at that rate and with the amount of daily BTC mined it will take me about 400 days to earn back my principal, assuming their is no change to the bitcoin price and the algorithms difficulty. Those are two pretty big assumptions, in fact it seems the difficulty of the BTC algorithm increased 600% last year alone and therefore the idea that I would earn my principal back in a timely manner goes right out the window. So...are these worthless contracts meant to bide hashflare time in a technological arms race, or is there a chance that miners will be forced to dropout because of financing these contract schemes garner to the bigger miners thus decreasing the difficulty of the algorithm and in turn making my mining more profitable. Or is it possible that mining contracts are sold on the presumption that BTC will jump in value significantly more than the difficulty increases and the percentage of fees paid will drop substantially so that I can receive some ROI?

I definitely should have done some better due dilligence on this stuff, but hey I had money to gamble, and my gamble pretty much amounted to Hashflare is legit and isn't selling worthless contracts.

Now can somebody please explain to me how miners make any money when the BTC algorithm seems to increase several multiples a year? This newb will appreciate it.

They don't and you have lost your money. Sorry to be the one telling you this but money does not fall down from the sky. The only miners who can make money re large farms having access to cheap electricity and constantly upgrading cheap hardware. You have access to none. You should ve gone with scrypt algo, there you would have some chance. With SHA 256, BTC mining, no way. Sorry.
1738  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the top 5 best lending websites? on: November 23, 2016, 05:48:05 AM
Besides margin lending, none of these websites can protect your money cause they do not have sufficient amount of collateral-ensured loans. No collateral, big time risk, projected default rate is close to 30%. Consequently, one cannot make any money there.
