Tottenham really don't have anything to be exaggerated indeed considering their recent performances I mean. They lost many points recently and made two comebacks one of them was here while the other one was in the Champions League. They can at least win somehow which is a good thing of course. But it isn't healthy for them in the long run on one hand.

This week they are going to host Liverpool. This is a really tough one for them. Liverpool have been great in the Champions League lately but it isn't the same as for the Premier League. They lost to two weak teams like Nottingham and Leeds two weeks in a row. It doesn't seem like the players are effected much by the results in the Champions League. However Tottenham can't defeat Liverpool home for like five years. I don't think of placing a bet on any side honestly. I'd rather both teams to score which has 1.59 odd.

Teams like Club Brugge and Frankfurt seem to be the most in trouble teams on paper now. Because there aren't many teams that they can eliminate among the group winners. Club Brugge missed the chance of finishing the group stage in the lead by a small difference actually. Porto have taken it from them like in the last moment.

On the other hand, Club Brugge at least seem more promising than Frankfurt. They at least have some experience in the Champions League and they might prevent a disastrous result against some of the teams. But I can't say the same for Frankfurt. I see only Porto as a team that they might be able to eliminate. But they also have recovered a lot recently. This might be the end of the road for them.

There is some speculation such as Barcelona might be targeting Arteta to replace Xavi in the future.

I don't see this very realistic at the moment. Because before anything else, Barcelona management don't seem uncomfortable with Xavi's job right now. Maybe their being eliminated in the Champions League this easy was some loss of credit for Xavi but they are still hopeful about the La Liga title now. This is the most serious season for the title as they can play at a similar level with Real Madrid right now. But if they don't keep up a good form and let Real Madrid pull away earlier then Xavi might be in trouble. Then Arteta might be a choice considering his success with Arsenal so far this season.

There is a really interesting situation in the Serie A right now. It's like near impossible to predict what team in the league can make Napoli taste their first defeat of the season. The reason of it is that they just beat every team one by one. I was really expectant from Milan against them in San Siro but even this didn't matter for Napoli and they got another win. They did the same to Roma also for example.

As a result, I can't be positive about Atalanta as well. Atalanta must be aware of this situation of course but it will still be very difficult for them to get even one point against Napoli. I know that Napoli lost against Liverpool yesterday but I don't expect this result to affect their morale negatively in the Atalanta match. They are focused on the Serie A title more than anything now. 2.06 odd is given to Napoli win and I'll go for it.

I think that we shouldn't be sure of an easy win for Arsenal this week. Because despite Chelsea's inconsistent look in the league, this is still a different match. In this kind of big matches we never know what can happen. We can give an example like the Liverpool - Manchester City match not much time ago. Liverpool were really bad then and Manchester City were incredibly strong at the same time. Many of us expected Manchester City to win this comfortably but the result was totally the opposite of it.

Therefore I don't think of betting on any side as for the Chelsea - Arsenal match. I'd rather bet on BTTS @1.67. I don't doubt Arsenal to score here. Chelsea should also do their best for a win here. Because they haven't got a win for three weeks. If they manage to play like Manchester United against Arsenal then maybe they might have a chance for a win also who knows.

Juventus have a really tough job to do tonight. Their ticket to the Europa League is still not secured as they have the same points with Maccabi Haifa. Their being eliminated completely from European tournaments is likely I think. They might share the same fate with Atletico Madrid.

I don't think Maccabi Haifa can defeat Benfica above all else. Because it is still not finished for Benfica. They still have the chance to take the lead from PSG. Hence I expect Benfica to get at least one point here but their win is more likely than a draw in my opinion. However Juventus shouldn't leave their job to chance anyway. Their form in the Serie A lately is quite decent. But they have shown a really bad performance in the Champions League so far. Allegri is already criticised a lot with the look of the team now. If he doesn't even qualify for the Europa League it would be even worse for him. I hope to see their best effort here and maybe they can somehow get one point depending on their offensive performance.

Bayern Münih de bu arada sezona kötü başlamıştı ama son zamanlarda eski formuna kavuşmaya başladı. Son üç maçın özellikle ikisinde mükemmel iş çıkarıp büyük bir farkla rakiplerini devirdiler. Bunlardan birisi de üst sıralarda iddiasını sürdüren Freiburg'du. Bayern Münih ritmini bulduğu zaman onları durdurmak gerçekten çok zor. Bu sene de şampiyon olmalarına kesin gözüyle bakıyorum.

I don't think that Manchester City need to be more complete right now. Because they already have many very skilled midfielders and a beast like Haalaand now. Haaland was like the missing piece of the puzzle for this team and it has been completed now. They have all the things they need to become the champions in the Champions League at the moment.

I don't think that Guardiola would like to see Messi in his team even though he has worked with Messi at Barcelona and he has admitted how amazing player he is. Messi would just continue to play for PSG until the end of the season. He even said before that he didn't want to talk about his future until the end of the World Cup. I won't be surprised if he decides to stay for at least one more year. Barcelona might not be in a very good financial condition to sign him maybe.

Roma have their last chance in the group to qualify for next round. It is against Ludogorets in two days and they have no choice other than winning this match. Because Ludogorets defeated them before and they have an advantage on head-to-heads.

Honestly I don't think that Ludogorets will be able to steal any point from Roma. I think they will prefer a defensive-oriented game plan against Roma to try to wear out their opponent. Maybe they can hold the first half thanks to a strategy like this but I don't expect more than that. Roma should be able to show their quality and finish them off. Everyone knows how much more they care about the Serie A now. But while there is a critical match like this I don't think they would make even a big rotation in the lineup. They should be winning this match.

Time is running out for Atletico Madrid. We are in the last ten minutes of both group matches right now. Leverkusen are ahead of Atletico Madrid in the group as long as the matches end like this. Because Leverkusen beat them before by 2-0 and got a draw in the other head-to-head.

It looks like Simeone doesn't care about qualifying for the Europa League at all. Maybe they made all their plans according to the Champions League and now they just don't care whether they are eliminated completely. They might want to fully concentrate on the La Liga to qualify for the Champions League once again without problems. Because they have really fierce opponents there. However I'd like to see them in the Europa League too honestly. Why wouldn't they want to make some more money in the end? 

It was a race controlled by Verstappen easily from the start to the end. Hamilton was impressive in the first laps of the race especially and he was great about keeping a small gap with Verstappen until the pits. But Mercedes' strategy with hard tyres caused Hamilton to stay much slower than Verstappen in the rest of the race. He hoped Verstappen to slow down with mediums at one point but it didn't happen. The virtual safety car was a chance for Verstappen to get fresh tyres but it would have been a gamble at the same time. Because there weren't many laps left to the finish.

Ferraris were disappointing. But I've heard something like the reason of this slowness was Ferrari's mistake. They didn't have the right settings for this GP and they realized it too late. There was no chance for them to fix this big problem after that. This helped Perez take the 2nd place in the drivers standings once again from Leclerc. The gap is 5 points now. The podium was exactly the same as the previous race in Mexico by the way.  

Arsenal were already interested in Tielemans in the previous transfer window actually. There were many rumours about a deal for him but it didn't happen. But now Tielemans must be really willing to leave Leicester due to the position of his team in the league now. I assume he wouldn't like to play for a team under the danger of relegating anymore.

In addition to Arsenal, I have heard before that Manchester United were also interested in him. If both of them make an offer for him then I wonder which one would be his choice. I think that it would be better for him to sign for Arsenal while they are even one of the title contenders now. Manchester United are still not in a strong condition now.

We are about to leave the all matches of the first day behind in Major Challengers Stage.

There isn't any surprising result so far. BIG actually had a really hard time against FURIA first. They were like 13-3 behind and they were so close to a total destruction. However I really admired their dedication in a desperate situation like this. They made a great comeback and managed to carry the match to OT. And they won by 19-16 after an OT as well. BIG are still not an unreliable team but they are at least trying now. Joining Major is the most important thing for them now.

The biggest match of the day is being played now between Cloud9 and fnatic by the way. We are in OT and it's 16-16 now. fnatic have made a huge improvement lately and they have reached the level to beat top tier teams too now. Let's see if they will make it against Cloud9.

Verstappen has 13 wins now just as Vettel and Schumacher's records. He needs only one more win to have the record by himself. He can still even get 16 wins as there are three races left now.

I think that Verstappen will be the winner of the Mexico GP and he will break this record also. He is still the fastest driver on the grid now. In the qualifying session, Mercedes drivers were really impressive though. Russell could have even got the pole position if he didn't make a simple mistakes while finishing his last lap attempt. However it is doubtful if any of Mercedes drivers can compete with Verstappen during the race. Red Bull have the most durable and fastest car and Verstappen is still very ambitious.

I don't know if there would be another team on the line to sign Messi next summer. I would say Barcelona maybe but I'm not sure about it. Actually Laporta seemed willing to sign Messi back some time ago but things might have changed. Because Xavi is trying to revolutionize the team and I don't know if there is a place for Messi in the starting eleven from now on.

Mbappe's place is much more difficult to be filled indeed. But as this trio is performing very well all together, it wouldn't be easy to find the right replacements for Messi and Neymar also. There are strong alternatives of course but those ones are already playing for top teams in Europe. PSG just need to try their best to keep all the players of this trio in the team at least for one more season if they fail in winning the Champions League title in this season.

There are few hours left for FP1 in Mexico GP. This is a special track for Sergio Perez obviously but he still has a difficult job ahead of him. By the way I have heard that they asked Verstappen about whether he will help Perez win in his home country. Verstappen underlined that there wouldn't be such thing and he would race as usual. It would be really weird to see this honestly. I mean how can Verstappen help him do this? He is already much faster than even Perez and he can't just slow down and try to keep the others behind while Perez is opening a big gap.

Aside from that I also find the decision about Red Bull's punishment as a little soft. Of course even small percentages can have a big impact in F1 but Red Bull still deserved a bigger punishment than this in fact.

Things have got really interesting in Group F.

Because Feyenoord lost to Sturm Graz surprisingly. Now they are three points behind Sturm Graz. Lazio also defeated Midtjylland this time after that horrible loss by 5-1 before. It looks like Lazio still want to maintain their lead in the group. They didn't seem like they were caring about the Europa League first but they seemed eager to win last night. Feyenoord still have a chance for next round by the way. Because they defeated Sturm Graz by 6-0 before so they are still advantageous in head-to-heads. But if Midtjylland also win against Sturm Graz last week then all the teams will be equal at points. It would be an epic ending for a group that's for sure. 

There is a significant level of drop in Tottenham's performance lately. After losing two matches in a row in the Premier League, they couldn't defeat Sporting home in the Champions League also. I don't know what has changed about them these days. Conte had a system that worked like a clockwork for a long time. Manchester United and Newcastle both were tough opponents of course but Tottenham should have been able to collect at least three points from these ones.

But it looks like this can be the week to end this bad streak for Tottenham. Their opponent up next is Bournemouth. We all remember how bad they are against big teams now. We can give the Liverpool example which they lost to them by 9-0. Maybe we wouldn't see such result but we should be seeing a clear win by Tottenham here.
