Good job by Fenerbahce indeed. They didn't finish the season without a championship at least. Maybe the Turkish Cup isn't important as much as the Turkish Super League. But this was still important for Fenerbahce mentally and for qualifying for the Europa League qualification as well. It is really such a bad situation Turkey are in now about European cup quotas now. As the country coefficient has dropped down to lower levels even the league champion can't qualify for the CL group stage. The only way to join the Europa League is the Turkish Cup title now too.

Jorge Jesus' contract was already ending by the way and he didn't want to continue with Fenerbahce. I don't know if there is any offer for him from other teams but here we are. I think it wasn't nice to talk about this right after winning a title.

Yeah there was already a verbal agreement on December if I'm not mistaken. Now the agreement has become official and I'm happy for Chelsea side. Because Nkunku is really a prolific striker who can increase the number of goals Chelsea score next season. Scoring was one of the biggest issues for Chelsea in this season. He had an injury period though which lasted for a little over a month this season but this was still no hindrance for him to be quite productive in general of the season.

However I still doubt if he is already the answer for the striker issue for Chelsea. Felix is returning to Atletico. Broja isn't impressive at all. Fofana is new around here but not good enough to be in the starting eleven yet. Aubameyang doesn't look like he has a future here anymore. By the way in the Imperial v G2 series there was a really nice ninja defuse by FalleN. On Map 3 which was Nuke, there was a 2 vs 3 situation for Imperial and the bomb was planted on bombsite A. It was like all things were under control for G2 but they left the bomb unguarded a little early. Imperial's move was really smart with FalleN and JOTA. While JOTA was covering him FalleN defused the bomb in smoke which was really an impressive round for them.

After witnessing all of these transfers by Saudi Arabia teams this summer I started to wonder if they come knocking at Lewandowski's door as well. Because he is also 34 years old now and his situation is not much different than Benzema. His career has also been very successful so far and he is still a very beneficial scorer in general. I don't think it would be the right thing to call Manchester United like they have been in a slump. On the contrary there is a big development in their playing style and results. Because they finished the 2021/2022 season in the 6th place and barely saved a ticket for the Europa League. But in this season things changed a lot. They finished in the 3rd place and they are finally a part of the Champions League as well. These all happened thanks to Erik ten Hag's system. He helped some players show their skills even in a better way as well.

For example there is a huge difference between Rashford's performances in the 2021/2022 season and this one. He has been like a goal machine above all else. And of course he has started to make more assists and be much less selfish. Hence I see a bright future for Manchester United now.

This rumour was already refuted by Hamilton not much time ago. It is the truth that Mercedes and Hamilton have had some issues with a contract renewal. They couldn't agree terms about the salary if I'm not mistaken. But I've read that Hamilton made a statement on this topic to end these rumours who knows where they came from. He stated clearly that he was close to reaching an agreement with Mercedes for a new contract. I think it would be the best for Hamilton considering all these years.

Maybe Mercedes is trailing behind Red Bull for now but Red Bull also had these times in the past. It is all about a solid development. If Mercedes works hard on this during the season they might really prepare a competitive car for Hamilton to go for his 8th title.

By the way Ferrari is horrible about strategies now so it would have been a really bad choice for Hamilton to go there now.

I have read this news on Goal.com and you can check it as well if you would like. He says like he will make Roma board informed about a probable offer when it comes. But of course he isn't like he is targeting to leave the team no matter what. He just leaves the door open for sensible offers from big teams like PSG. You know PSG have also been linked with him for a while on some news sources. But all these news started to make me think about the possibility of him joining PSG forces.

Of course there is no guarantee like he will win so many titles when he arrives at PSG. But technically it is a bigger probability compared to Roma. Because things don't work very well so far with Roma as this is another season without a Champions League ticket or a title.

Roma did their best during the Europa League but it wasn't enough to win the title unfortunately. But still I can't call this season as successful for Roma. After winning the Europa Conference League title the expectations from Mourinho got bigger as a result. A Champions League ticket was the target as of the beginning of the season. I'm sure the board didn't care about how they get it. They messed it up in the Serie A by losing unexpected points in many matches which blocked the way for top 4.

The Europa League title was the only chance left but it didn't happen either. Mourinho is also aware of this unsuccessful run no matter how he is angry with Anthony Taylor. Roma need to look into where they make the mistakes and fix it.

Real Madrid have been taking the steps to make their midfield much younger and talented at the same time. This is a preparation phase to Modric and Kroos' departure when the time is right. For now these two players have signed a contract extension for one more year. When it comes to a striker transfer I started to think that it is worth spending an amount around 100 million euros for Kane. This isn't an unbelievable amount for these players from now on. Apart from that Kane is worth it because despite his age he can still do a great work with Real Madrid for many years. The match has been going on exactly like that. I was hopeful about watching the opposite to tell the truth. But West Ham are playing worse than I expected to watch. They have like the half of the number of passes Fiorentina have now and there is a huge gap between the ball possession percentages as well - 66% to 34%. I hope West Ham are saving their energy for the time period as of the second half. Because as time goes on simple mistakes get harder to make up for.

In the second half I want to show some action for real. I'm supporting West Ham in this by the way. If they score first by some improvement then the match can be way more exciting and interesting. Because Fiorentina have already been the better side.

Another topic I'm wondering about is if Liverpool will be able to leave this kind of a poor season behind quickly. Because this was really one of their most unsuccessful seasons in the recent years. I haven't been used to seeing Liverpool not joining the Champions League. Because they have always been like one of the biggest title contenders together with Manchester City. But this season was way different. I think one of the reasons could be their letting go of Mane. Because his contribution to the team was enormous.

I mean he made a great duo with Salah you know. The cooperation between these two has helped this team reach successes easier. Mane was like a bridge between the midfield and attacking area of this team. But as of his departure Salah started to have really serious problems for some time. I hope Klopp will work on all the problems left to fix them and prepare his players solidly for next season.

I haven't seen Inter parking the bus against a team for a long time. They have been used to playing with 3 defenders and an offense-oriented game at the same time. But this must be their toughest match even in the recent years. Manchester City are such a dominant team against even the ones we know as the same. We all witnessed what they did to Real Madrid in the rematch. Real Madrid were just desperate against them after a point. Thinking about that I can't even imagine what Manchester City can do to Inter.

However this is the final stage of course. Both teams will need to play carefully. I think Inter will prioritize zone defense and force their opponent to shots outside the box. But if they still somehow give spaces then Manchester City can break the deadlock earlier and finish the job later on.

I think Mourinho is going to be very likely to leave the team now. He seems ready for an offer from PSG already as it has been on the news for a long time. PSG must have been thinking of replacing Galtier after this poor season already and Mourinho is surely among the best candidates for the job. Mourinho's style is a little more different from the managers they have had so far though. But I think Mourinho would also feel the need of adapting to the environment a little.

In the end we shouldn't see Mourinho parking the bus easily with a squad like this one in hand.    No matter Roma won the Europa League title or not I was going to expect him to leave. Because taking the helm at PSG must be much more attracting to him instead of staying with Roma. He can do the things in his mind easier there.

I tried my luck with betting on some matches in the Nations League before but my betslip lost big time.    Indeed we have witnessed so many unexpected results in especially the matches of favourite teams. But still France and Portugal are the winners of this tournament so far. We don't see any surprising team reaching the title at the end I mean. When I look at the remaining teams in the semi finals now I don't see any surprising team again. Netherlands, Croatia, Spain and Italy all are strong candidates to win the title.

Netherlands are the host country this time as you know. Hence I assume they would be even more competitive to be the champions. But Croatia is a really dangerous opponent. They have a really solid defense line so I wonder what Netherlands will do about it.
