I agree, it doesn't really sit well, so if something bad happens that we don't like instead of dealing, learning and moving past it we will just pretend like it didn't happen. It just has a bad taste the fact that this is so willingly put forward and will probably go ahead.
I did hear about NEM but not that familiar with it, might take your advice and do some research on it.

I can't log into the software using my details but I can log onto the site, any ideas what is wrong?
Edit, seems that going through the forgot password process resolves the issue.

Yeah, Coinbase or Circle or there is Bitylicious they will all have varying rates so research them all before you jump into one.

That is pretty cool man, well done it is nice when something like this happens as long as you don't fire it all back in and lose it all

It is worse off if you fork. Pretty obvious why it was even offered...devs were invested. If ETH forks no one will trust it since contracts are just reversed. The real world does not offer do-overs. Forking for a third party is just sad... Agreed, I really don't think this is the best way to go, where will it end if we do this? kind of defeats the whole point of where we are.

I took part in one of the BRK tournamounts last night which finished quite late (2 am) and I'm knackered for work, I came second but I have to say I enjoyed the whole game it was smooth without glitches and had a very slick polished feel about it. I have used some awful software in the past and this was a pleasure, the little things like a welcome to the last table message adds to the whole experience. I will be back for the Bittrex one on Sunday!

Everyone's excited for the halving event happening around July. Everyone's saving hoping that the price will skyrocket after it.
But what if prices crash down instead? what would you do?
I think there would be a lot of panic selling if that happened, I think I would probably think about stocking up in preparation for the next halving in 4 years lol

There does seem to be a few complaints regarding Coinbase and their terrible support, I have only had to contact them the once and they got back to me in a couple of days and resolved my problem, albeit I am only talking an issue with < 1 BTC. I hope you get your issue resolved.

I would suggest Bittrex, have used it for a few years and have never had any issues with them and I find their user interface the easiest to use although it can be a bit frustrating if you are on your mobile.
If you are looking for the more obscure alts and the newly released ones then Yobit would be for you, they seem to add any old coin.

I agree, there isn't anything funny about this whole situation as we are talking about a lot of money and some people would be out of pocket. I know we all say only put in what you can afford to lose but even so it is a kick in the guts when something like this happens.
It is quite disturbing so early on in the DAO this was noticed and taken advantage of, hopefully lesson learned and in future things will be tested fully or even bounties set to see if anyone can find loopholes etc.

Good luck with that, exactly one day before the halving I am not dumping anything.

bitcoins is what I would use, same as 10 pounds and so on.

Finally got myself onboard and picked up some, going to sign up now and play some poker.

Falling all the way down, as low as 50 maybe?? can't see that big 30 million + wallet anymore.
Looks like they got the hint and started splitting it into smaller wallets. It did stick out like a sore thumb

It looks more and more likely now from what we have seen over the last couple of weeks, this month could be a possibility. Question is once it hits that mark how many people will keep holding and seeing just how far this can go or will we see a huge rush to sell?

I think the UK is quite strict when it come to the gambling side of Crypto, there are numerous sites which you cannot join if you are based in the UK unless you get a license, I'm not sure of the requirements need to obtain a license but I would imagine it would be quite stringent.
Good luck though, it would be great to have a legit UK site that would offer some horse racing etc, similar to that of the paddy power's, bet365 and so on.

Yep, and the higher the price goes the more attention/support bitcoin will get, it is nice to have the attention on bitcoin because of it's movement rather than the criminal movement around bitcoin!

I seriously doubt that you will get many people signing up for a signature campaign for a month, chances are you may not be around in a month. People do be careful with this, any new service like this popping up especially now when bitcoin is on the rise should be treated with extreme caution.
If in doubt, leave it out.

It feels better when you receive bitcoins but sending does make you feel a sense of achievement. When purchasing something and using bitcoin as payment it does feel good, even better if your other half is there and can see you using it and can see that you have not been talking rubbish for the last few years and bitcoin does have a real world use.
