1721  Economy / Gambling / Re: How much yield is good for long term sports betting. on: November 22, 2015, 01:36:28 PM
most people will not do their maths well. most are running at losses but will never understand it because they are very ignorant. when somebody win at one time they think they have achieved a lot without realizing that for the past week you have been making losses. anything that is making losses is not worth risking. I should be making a profit of more than 100% for me to continue betting

Very true, mostly sports gambler don't do maths, they just bet blind and hope that they will win easy money.

they do have simple math, but becuz they know they already loss certain amount of $$ and wish to gain back the losses, that is where they tends to lost even more.
1722  Economy / Gambling / Re: [AUCTION] MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 22, 2015, 01:32:33 PM
hopefully the mew owners respect the site and what it stood for I know satoshidice used to be great before the sale Sad afterwards not so much sadly Sad

well, satoshidice has been going down actually before it is officially sold as the share of the satoshidice is ltcglobal is decreasing day by day due to the reducing volume. so even without selling, i also dont think it will be better of.
1723  Economy / Gambling / Re: [AUCTION] MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 22, 2015, 01:17:32 PM
sadly to say, i also feel very sad for the MP news. It is very ahrd to find someone who is trustworthly enough for the takeover. otherwise, it will affect the business heavily.

1725  Economy / Services / Re: Ore-Mine.org - Signature campaign - Earn 0.08 BTC for two weeks on: November 15, 2015, 10:06:19 PM
still any free slots?

campaign is closed, today is the last payout

yah, but since the btc also go back to the original price. is it possible that this campagin will carry on? if so, i will be happy to carry on with the campagin too.

I have not received any word from the owner that he wants to continue so far, so after today this campaign will be paused.

Also working on the payouts now so you guys should be paid soon if qualified

thabnks for all the trouble. u also mention that the owner did not get as much traffic from this campagin as expected so even the price of btc is back to normal, the chance to carry on may still be not that high. it is a great campagin.

1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Bitcoin documentaries on Netflix! on: November 12, 2015, 09:18:15 AM
the movie did make some progress and i have to say it has achieve a lot when it is not backed with very huge budget. and do remember that is one of the first few movies about bitcoin so itself cant really attract too many people as a lot of them have no idea or no interest in something they dont know.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of my life on: November 12, 2015, 09:16:34 AM
For me not at all. Bitcoin was great profit for me. My friends all invested in Bitcoin when it was just a couple of cents and there persuaded me to invest as well. Now I am grateful that they did that because back in 2010 I sold most of my Bitcoin for around $1000 and earned quite a lot of money from that. I am kind of sad now that I didn't sell all my Bitcoin but then again, Bitcoin is great for day to day life and online shopping.

no need to feel sad. you are already very very very very lucky to earn so much for so little input at the start. when i know it, it is already 100$. and i lose a lot of btc in some investment in the digital world. it is so hard to earn in investment that time.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 09:14:09 AM
it is not adjustment but bitcoin is not easy to enter and use it. first the ways to use btc is very limited. 2ndly, u need to research a lot a lot just how to save proof ur wallet etc. 3rd, spending/checking/getting/signing is all so new so you need to read a lot to make sure things r going right for u.

with so many things u need to do, why not just pay with ur cash in a local store. that is why people r reluctant to come in.
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 12, 2015, 09:12:10 AM
i usually use bitcoin when i need to deal with people from diff country. so things like dota 2 digital items. one of the best and safest way is to deal by bitcoin. and there is not much tax on it. if deal by paypal, i end up paying extra 5-10% for the goods i buy or i risk losing to fake cc for selling.
1732  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 09:10:04 AM
my worst mistake is not kep bitcoin for a long time,i always sell it when i have little much  Angry

well not ur fault. it is very hard to hold on to it and sell it at the perfect peak. we all end up selling it too early or it just never drop and keep increaing.
1733  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 09:09:05 AM
btc demand is definitely climbing everyday as it get advertised in very little ways throughout the years throughout the diff countries at different media. so demand is increasing as it slowly reach out to more people.

and as we know, the supply is very limited, so with more people coming it, btc will get more dilute and thus the value will increase to match with the demand for each dilute amount.
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best investment? on: November 12, 2015, 09:06:01 AM
I believe according to me the best investment is one which gives you some good returns for a minimal level of risk. I prefer investing in Fixed deposits in banks and Public provident funds which earn me a reasonable rate of interest ranging from 8-10%.

I also like to invest in Gold, Shares and  Bitcoins.

you are luckily to have solid investment chance in your country. for my country, all the fixed deposit from banks and public/government funds etc are all 1-3% the most. even if u invest in investment fund, it is also about 5%. so the only way is to be risky and invest outside and on your own.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's real value on: November 12, 2015, 09:01:58 AM
BTC is basically a virtual currency. It has no definate value, but can be exchanged for online payments and paypal.

same for gold and silver and other things. they too has no value. it is because of supply and demand that makes them valueable. so right now, bitcoin is limited but becuz of no much demand for it, it is still largely unknown to the world. so if btc can be made as another mode of payment commonly throughout, there will be huge demand for it.
1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you don't have any ideas, you shouldn't even complain. on: November 12, 2015, 08:59:31 AM
People will be always complaining about everything really. You can't change this no matter what. But some of our fail to notice good qualities of complains, they are motor of changes.
If people are dissatisfied they first complain and the try to change things. Complaining about complaining will lead us nowhere, really.
I can complain about people complaining to show them just how whiny they look. I don't know why that's so wrong.
Because they don't care. I am pretty sure, that hardly any of the people, you are talking about, are reading this.
Because it is a negative response to a negative response, which never leads to anything positive.
Because now we have another place where people are standing in a circle and talk about how bad the world has become.

well i do care to read. it is kind of interseting to see this kind of thread in this forum becuz most of the time it is more focus on btc related, but this thread is more about the psycology for human reactions to btc.

You mean complaining about complaining.

yup he just trying to refer complaining = negative. and as contradict to what we learn in sch math, negative on negative does not give us positive.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best Bitcoin film? on: November 12, 2015, 08:55:39 AM
I think Hollywood movie "Dope" Has done some great media for Bitcoin (someone may not agree cause it is related to black market, but in my opinion this movie is done more than documentaries and have reached wider audience than youtube for sure).

Quote from the movie:

“I just read that money as we know it is dead. Soon the world is only going to buy and sell products using Bitcoins. It’s like a complicated math equation.”

Also this is interesting, that was first movie you could buy ticket with Bitcoin. Here is link:

http://www.boston.com/entertainment/movies/2015/06/16/dope-become-first-movie-accept-bitcoin-for-ticket-purchases/k5nUlkwryi7nNVJCiUvBOI/story.html

that is very interesting. i saw dope and it is quite a funny movie. glad that it accepts btc. i wonder if they would show the sales by btc and the usual methods. even if btc sale is 5% of the total, i am quite happy to see some hope of btc progress.
1738  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 08:53:12 AM
when btc is cheap and end up i spend like 20btc on a mining company to buy the shares. end up it is worth 0.2btc now. still holding on to it as it pays very pathetic btc dividends like 0.01 btc every 3 months.
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2015, 08:51:31 AM
trade is 1 choice for growing your bitcoin
if you have 10btc and you sell your bitcoin at $500 then you buy back at $300
so you can growing your bitcoin with 60% profit Wink

that sounds simple. but how do u know if a price will fall back down. just like when it is $50~. it just keep growing and growing. so at that time when it rise to $100 and you sell. u realise u end up have to pay more just to get back the btc.
1740  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 12, 2015, 08:49:07 AM
I'm investing in bitcoins so when the price goes up, i can sell it on paypal.

In my opinion, paypal is much more secure.

why is paypal more secure? from what i understand, paypal should be the most dangerous to sell. cuz paypal dont really encourage digital trade and it is more protective to buyers. happen a case before to me when i met a scammer and after passing him the digital goods, he withdraw the payment and there is nothing u can do. the money just disappear in the account and the case is closed within 12hrs. it happen so fast. tried to file for an appeal but fail.
