India still have enough wickets in hand if India leads by 250+ runs, it seems that West Indies will not be able to take the team and will lose.
Where two opening batsmen have scored centuries and an opening batsman is unbeaten on 143 runs, there are still enough wickets in hand so why do we expect 250 plus runs. India is already 162 runs ahead, so they will score only 88 runs with 8 wickets in hand on the third day? You just have to wait for India's third day to see where India's runs end up. The Indian target now is to follow the West Indies, in which case they will bat a little aggressively on the third day. Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal on the wicket so far will pick up on day two from where they left off on day three. If it is possible to score 500 plus runs, then West Indies will have a great chance to follow.
Definitely, India will post more than 350+ runs for West Indies so they can win by innings. There is no reason to declare the innings without scoring enough runs. Indian Batting line is good enough to score 300 more runs while they have eight wickets in hand. Yashasvi Jaiswal has a chance to score a double-century. What a talented young batter. I have seen his journey on social media.

He scored a century in every tournament he played. Scoring a double century in debut is an extraordinary achievement. If he can score a double century in this match, he will be the 8th batter to score a double century in a debut. Only three double century was scored in debut in the last 20 years.

Where did you see wBTC at $20k? That would be a great arbitrage opportunity since you can still unwrap it (redeem/burn) for real BTC onchain. Cheesy

I guess he saw that information in WO because he is active there, and someone posted today that this token has been in a bit of a problem in the last 7 days. Honestly, I don't pay attention to any variations (forks) of BTC, not even to this wrapped version.

No, I did not see this post until now. I saw the chart in Coinmarketcap today, and I just checked again and was shocked. They manipulated the chart for an unknown reason. I am not the only guy who has seen WBTC de-pegged. It was de-pegged for almost all day and now regained the peg. The main problem is they manipulated the chart. They removed actual 24h low data and adjusted it with real BTC. As far as I know, this happened because of a multichain sell-off.

The line chart might just be showing a moving average to smooth out extreme fluctuations. If you change the view to the candlestick chart it will still show you how low the price went.

WBTC proof of reserves are published online. As long as the custodian holding the collateral isn't facing issues, like FTX was when soBTC depegged, I would expect the price to return to normal.

What if the platform is centralized shit? As I said, coinmarketcap fixed it, and you cannot find it anymore. As bullrun2020bro said, he noticed that too. I guess you missed the bolded part of my post. WBTC is available in multiple chains. This happened due to a multichain sell-off. Imagine a single chain has 10 WBTC, and someone sells 5 WBTC, and no one buys back and no orders. This will crash the price on that chain. It seems some whales played a good game. I don't know which chain it was. But many people have noticed the instability of WBTC since the 7th of June.
1724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Should we hand out neutral/neg tags like candy?(open but might be future edits) on: July 14, 2023, 01:41:41 AM
Neutral tags also do not mean neutral. I just found out that actmyname tags will prevent members from participating in @icopress signature campaigns, so actmyname's neutral tags are negative.
It's not negative. The reputation system is not for signature campaign eligibility/ineligibility. It's up to the campaign managers whether they will allow neg/neutral tagged users. It depends on the legitimacy of the tag, regardless of whether it's negative or neutral. A valid neutral tag has more credibility than an invalid negative tag. actmyname's tags are related to users posting habits. When he leaves a neutral tag on any profile, he reads the last couple of pages of the user post history. He will leave a neutral tag if he believes the user writes posts below standard. Of course, campaign managers don't want to hire low-quality posters. You will notice many members are in the signature campaign with negative tags because some of the tags are retaliatory, and some of them do not have enough evidence.

actmyname's neutral tags might be negative from the particular user's perspective. But it's neutral and a warning for others. No matter if it's negative or neutral, as long as the feedback is accurate. Make sure it's legitimate feedback.

it makes no sense to add these private data.  Even if this is due to seo conditions, this does not give them the right to publish data with that degree of privacy.
Well, If they have contacted Yomix for such information and got permission to use such data, you cannot blame them as well because they already got permission from the platform. But, as Yomix said, they had no idea those platforms published articles about Yomix. But they included Yomix as a source that Yomix representatives might not be aware of.

As I can see, all three platforms used the same address in their article. I don't see this as a problem. This is an anonymous platform. As long as they are not sharing their accurate information, there is no problem.

1727  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Having Difficulties Withdrawing Funds From Crypto Website. on: July 13, 2023, 07:01:52 AM
What is the URL of the site?
This would likely be a scam, but we can not make that conclusion until we know the site that you are referring to.

Unless you're referring to webull.com it's probably a scam and someone is trying to impersonate them.

Op is talking about Webull trading bots. Here is the URL https://webulltradingbots.com/. It seems this is a Ponzi scheme website that is copied https://www.webull.com/ theme and design. I never heard of those websites. I don't know anything about those websites. It seems https://webulltradingbots.com/ is trying to pretend to be Webull.com. I don't know if any of them are legit. Both might be scams, or maybe they are legit.

How do you guys still fall for investment schemes online? Always do your own research before you invest a penny online.

Edit: OP Is talking about
Code:
[url]Webulltradingbot.com[/url]

I'm new on this site and I didn't know if that would be allowed or not. webulltradingbot.com.  That's the trading bot.

It was confirmed that this is a scam website.
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wBTC and BTC on: July 13, 2023, 06:21:21 AM
I have a question, I noticed that the wBTC moves in lockstep with the price of bitcoin, that is, if the price of bitcoin is $20.000, the price of wBTC is also $20.000, is there any possibility of a price difference?

It's wrapped Bitcoin in different chains. Wrapped Bitcoin was dipegged multiple times in the last 24 hours. The coin was developed by a company named Bitgo. Buying wrapped bitcoin means buying an altcoin that can be zeroed anytime. The current Bitcoin price is over 30K, and the current wrapped Bitcoin price is around 23K. I won't be surprised if wrapped Bitcoin loses its value.

I consider it a scam coin. Do not buy wrapped bitcoin in any case. There is no use case for it. Do not stake your coin in centralized exchanges to get some profit. This greediness will lead you into a big lose.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 13, 2023, 04:05:00 AM
Nowadays many people in our country are addicted to gambling. I have seen many people losing their huge amount in most of the gambling games. If all those people can be informed about bitcoin, how to earn money in bitcoin? I think they would have invested in Bitcoin and they could have made money from it.Besides, if they can discuss about Bitcointalk in detail, then I think they will learn about Bitcointalk besides investing in Bitcoin. In this, the person addicted to gambling could stay away from gambling besides earning money.

They might end up losing their Bitcoin by gambling again! The first thing to do is make sure they are not addicted anymore. If someone is addicted to gambling, I believe they don't have patience. They always want to make a profit no matter how tough it is. If you ask them to invest in Bitcoin and say that Bitcoin will generate profit for them in the long run, I doubt they will be able to hold it for a long time.

They will end up putting their Bitcoin on bitcoin doubler websites and getting scammed. Moreover, almost all online casinos support bitcoin deposits these days; they will also end up gambling on it. The only solution could be depositing their Bitcoin in a time-locked wallet for a long time, and they may make some profit in the future.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 13, 2023, 03:59:04 AM
Gambling is just like trading so we need to know that since not all traders make profits from trading still not all gamblers are going to be a winner or s profitable one. We need to understand that for us to be a profitable gambler, there is task that is involved that we needed to take yo be a gambler with profitability.
Gambling and trading are similar, but it's not like trading. Trading needs some knowledge and skills to make a profit. If you do not know about trading, you will lose your money in trading. In comparison, gambling in slot games and in-house games requires no skills. There is nothing to do with the experience. Every gambler has the same winning chance in those games.

Even Experienced gambler might lose their entire bankroll in gambling. You cannot do anything except refrain from placing bets. House always wins in the long run. House doesn't know if you are an experienced player or not. It applied the same percentage of house edge with each and every player.
1731  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 13, 2023, 03:42:17 AM
I am of the opinion that there should be a set minimum post count and activity as well as merit level for anyone to even post in this thread and a different limit for posting links.

Something like minimum member status to even post a Twatter link.

I support it. But the problem is theymos no longer want to limit newbie participation in the forum. The problem is more significant in lending sections. Every other day newbie accounts pop up with a loan request who doesn't have any forum background. In the serious discussion section, users below the Jr member rank cannot post. Users below Full member rank (or Member rank) cannot post in the Ivory Tower section. If you all agree and are serious about it, you may ask infofront to move this thread to one of those sections.

Else, another idea could be to refrain yourself meriting those Twitter posts. Slowly but surely, they will lose interest in dumping their shit. The problem is everyone doesn't agree with that. Some members might still feed them.
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: July 13, 2023, 02:27:52 AM
Holy moly! KYC for 50 bucks itself was outrageous, but KYC for 20 bucks along with so much documentation is just plain insanity. I never gambled at Bitsler and I will never recommend it just because of your issue.

Personally, I would submit KYC only if it's related to big withdrawals or if they find something legitimately suspicious related to my account.
Almost every casino never tell their users why they triggered KYC. They won't tell you if they find something suspicious about your account. Personally, I don't mind if casinos ask for KYC verification if I play 3rd party games and win a good amount of money. Or, I take any bonus and now want to withdraw the winnings. But, I never heard that a casino triggered KYC even though you never played 3rd party games or took any bonus or promo.

Now, when it comes to verifying KYC for $20, they need several documents, and they won't accept e-statements or e-bills. You have to visit your bank for the statement and visit your gas or electricity supplier office to get a physical bill, it might cost you more than $20 to collect them, and you have to spend your whole day. Who does that for $20?

Too all signature participants,
Some love and idea sharing on the Yo!Mix ann thread will be much appreciated.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5432724.0

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up, Royse!
We should have done that a long ago. Even though the campaign does not require us to post in their ANN, it would be appropriate to engage with the thread for the signature participants just like others.
1734  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: July 13, 2023, 02:13:36 AM
tbh we even didn't know we have articles there  Grin
We're working with several companies for promoting our mixer and yes, they can put any contact info they want.
Frankly, I do not find that they have the right to add any name they wish without indicating that it does not belong to the Mixer team. There is also a mention of the state where the company is in Washington, is it really in Washington?

I understood that it is not a serious matter in any case, and that Yomix is not responsible for the accuracy of the information published by some sites.

If any website writes something about Yomix or any other mixer without contacting them, and the mixer is not paying for that, the mixer is not responsible for the accuracy of the information. Yes, writing random information is quite misleading unless they get permission from the mixer. Let's say different media started writing different addresses and country names, if someone notices the difference between articles, they might be confused about the legitimacy of the platform.

It's understandable that mixers don't want to share their accurate location. but, if they choose a location for any purpose, every media should use the same information. Or they can choose not to share any location as it's not a mandatory thing to share.
1735  Economy / Services / Re: HIRING SEVERAL FORUM POSTER s. Contact Immediately. on: July 13, 2023, 01:50:08 AM
There is no need to contact you in private. You are a newbie with no forum background. If you want to hire forum members, either you have to pay upfront, or you have to escrow the funds. Only after that forum members can deal with you. You won't get any response without escrowing the funds. Don't waste your time here.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 12, 2023, 01:35:29 PM
I think you are an extraordinary person. When I first won it made me happier and expected more. Maybe it's my fault. I have to stop when I get the win, not continue. The next game I lost continuously. Until I was curious and spent a lot of money in the hope that my lost money could come back.
That happens when you are new or addicted to gambling. Gambling never guarantees you win. Even though players might hit the jackpot, that doesn't mean the player will get the jackpot repeatedly. You have to understand your worth. You have to know yourself better than anyone. Do not deposit money to recover your previous loss. If you lose in the current session, take a break for that day.

Start gambling on a new day with a fresh mind. Don't play to recover your previous loss or to make money. As a player, you do not have any advantages. But casinos have their house edge.

You seem shocked!
Would you believe me if I said Bitsler asked me for a KYC to withdraw my $20 worth of TRX? Yes, they did it. I deposited $10 worth of TRX and doubled it by playing a dice game. After a few minutes, I requested to withdraw my funds, which was declined. They asked me for KYC. Well, I have submitted my ID card and then a selfie withholding my ID card and piece of paper writing Bitsler and username.

After that, they requested a utility bill or bank statement with my address. I submitted my utility bill, which was written in the local language. They denied it and asked for different papers. I downloaded my bank statement, and they denied it again, saying e-statement is not allowed. They want a statement with the stamp and signature of the bank officer. Meanwhile, I gambled again and lost it.

I don't think I have to explain how terrible the experience was.

Currently there are many KYC related cases in this crypto gambling industry, I have no idea why but seems that KYC is getting stricter these days. Afaik uploading ID + selfie photo is more than enough for most cases. Utility bill or bank statement is just complicated and I think there should be a better reason for any site to ask such document from their players. It does not make senses if utility bill is being asked for small withdrawal request. I do not even think that pure fiat casinos ask that complicated KYC verification, at least based on my own experience in local fiat casinos. Of course different country, different casino, may have their own rules.

There is no problem if casinos ask for a KYC for a valid reason or if they see any suspicious activity, if the amount is high or players place bets on sports. But, I have never seen a casino ask for KYC documents when a player deposited $10, played their in-house games and attempted to withdraw the funds after a few minutes. But, when a casino asks for KYC for a $20 withdrawal when the player never took any bonuses and did not play any games other than in-house games, I am unsure why they need a KYC.

Moreover, they don't accept local documents; they don't accept e-statements. Who takes physical statements these days? It feels somewhat scammy when a casino makes everything challenging for its players. Who will spend their days collecting those documents to withdraw just $20?
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 12, 2023, 07:00:27 AM
I don't even remember when I started gambling. But, there was a time freebitco.in was so famous for its hourly roll/free spins. We used to get some satoshis and some tickets. I did not deposit anything to gamble there. Back then, I claimed the bonus every hour and placed bets on a game on their website. I guess the game is still available on their website.

Their game has a terrible house edge. But who cares? That was one of the most famous websites among the fewest casinos. My gambling journey started from there, even without understanding that I was gambling.

Rashid Khan and Naveen-ul-Haq didn't played the third match, which they lost to Sri Lanka.
Weren't they playing against Bangladesh? Or did they play against Sri Lanka before this series?

Quote
They have been defeated by a team that achieved full member status. And who knows? Maybe ICC is also taking note. Bangladesh has continuously underperformed for the last two decades.
Yet Bangladesh ODI ranking is better than Afghanistan's. Both teams don't have to play a qualifier match for the world cup, while teams like Sri Lanka and West Indies play the ICC world cup qualifier. I guess the West Indies are already out of the world cup. I don't understand what you mean by underperforming for the last two decades.

Bangladesh Got its ODI status in 1999, and its current ranking is seven. Afghanistan is the 2nd team able to win a series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh, while England was the only team to win a series against Bangladesh (In Bangladesh) in the last ten years. You need to do some research, mate  Cheesy
