1721  Economy / Economics / Re: The U.S. is considering a radical rethinking of the digital dollar (CBDCs) on: February 08, 2022, 01:38:41 PM
All of sudden every country is thinking about their digital currency now. Even with the India same case is happening as they published the Indian rupee in digital form to be established by year 2023 first quarter.

Does anyone see a connection here with crypto currencies and country to country formation of digital local currencies?

Slowly all of them are entering into the parallel universe to keep with thr ever changing requirement of their people. I mean they are literally trying to form these currencies so that they can invest into it and go away from the cryptocurrency (?)

Moreover, being the government formed asset people can easily trust them whether it’s low class people or rich, they will get pulled into this scheme.

Would it be reverse charge on crypto currency???
1722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin book as surprising gift on: February 08, 2022, 04:20:21 AM
First of they should be reader and enthusiasts in taking time to do so. Many of them are so involved in the social networking that they have forgotten to read the real books by getting comfortable in the chair.

Today’s generation is all about quick learning’s. Go online search the topic and get quick answers from the online repository. They will sometimes just throw questions in quora, Reddit and forums.

I am not really sure what would be their impression regarding the physical book really.

Though it seems bright idea, it just don’t fit in for current generation.

In no way I’m taking this negatively, the tone feels in that way but it’s all about the facts of today’s generation.  Grin

Cerebras CS-1, actual product and not a miner!
[…]

Lolz. Fairly enough. End of discussion here. I think stompix needs to get on to the panel of juri and tell them how he identified the fake miner. Wondering how they deceived everyone into this story.

I mean I am myself feeling really naive about this after reading your simple two liner answer to the matter.

However, it has got to do something with the Graphic processing anyways. Look at the official website of Crebras and you will find it’s application in the image processing of proteins and viruses clusters.

The site says Cerebras is:

Quote
Purpose built for AI, the CS-2 replaces an entire cluster of graphics processing units (GPUs). Gone are the challenges of parallel programming, distributed training, and cluster management. From chip to system to software – every aspect of the CS-2 is optimized to accelerate and to simplify AI work. The CS-2 produces answers in less time.

This could be to put on the impression that it’s advance machine where cluster of GPU is replaced with AI stuff as per official site.

Don’t know. It’s still unclear for me.

1724  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF urges El Salvador to remove Bitcoin as legal tender on: February 07, 2022, 05:52:30 PM
I'm assuming the recommendation is coming from the idea that El Salvador might use some borrowed funds to buy bitcoin.

I'm not certain on that but if it is the case, it'll reduce the countries chances of paying back debts in the immediate term (for example, if the price crashes).

Fees would probably be the thing to complain about with bitcoin and not inflation but there's potential el Salvador did this because the imf didn't offer them much in the first place.

Certainly prices have been dropped a lot and the same case is in front of them now. I think there has to be well thought plan when El Salvador first thought of going all crypto! They must have had plan for such calamities as they every kid around the globe know how unstable the crypto currencies are. I’m certain that IMF is also trying to be one of the authority who wants to show everyone that they are not in favour of crypto currencies. So they are going all harsh about it and trying to manipulate other through this act of Cold War.

Obviously they have power because they have funds for lending and they will also be partnered by those governments who wish to take down the crypto from face of the earth.

1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Purpose on: February 07, 2022, 04:53:56 PM
It is not the purpose which is taking round but it’s the utilisation of blockchain in other sense. Satoshi did invest bitcoin which runs on the bankend algo of blockchain. However, what you referring to is utilisation of the coin that is bitcoin which is the only thing that can be accessed in reality over blockchain for various purpose such as p2p exchanges.

What other companies are doing is, making use of blockchain for their internal work while making bitcoin as forefront barrier to showcase the use of same. You know it’s like you show the world what they are interested in by looking at what world really wants.

This is what I am understanding from the OP.
1726  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 07, 2022, 01:15:13 PM
Yea it's not hard to do promotions for any amount when they literally have robbed people of millions of dollars. Don't worry I'll live stream when I finally catch one of them at their house and I end them and their family
Quite unfortunate to hear this from you, do you have any problem with your funds on Duelbits, if yes you can forward your complaint to the support rather than making empty accusations without any evidence to support your claims.

You do not need to respond him seriously, its been couple of months since he came to this forum and accuse duelbits scammed him or stole his money but he never provided single proof. It is not that hard to provide proof if his allegation does exist but there is still no proof till now. I think he is just a player who cant afford to lose money on gambling then blame/accuse the casino as scam.
You can check the previous discussion page and find him accusing duelbits of scam casino many times but after all have asked him for proofs he simply ignores it and keep on posting these similar things so it's better to ignore him until he leaves his useless efforts to defame the image of duelbits and enjoy our way of gambling here.

Funny allegations. Too bad that guy is in that situation. One vote against Dulelbit or any firm does not count as honest one. It’s simply that they might have lost huge sum of money and raging against them for the same.
Idk, any casino or gambling site always tell us to be responsible while putting our money into it. The thing is, you have good amount of chance to win the money on casino but it should be taken in more or less fun way rather than some sort of earning income source.

I have myself able to cashed out many times from Duelbit. I don’t play much but whenever I play lets say Dual Dice or slots I would keep in mind how much I have to spend today or in that sitting.

There is option called as limiting the daily spends which should be turned on if you can’t control yourself and your anger.

Grow Your FUNToken Holdings - Earn Up To 25% APY at FreeBitco.in!

Sounds cool offering. I have recently joined freebitcoin site and it seems that the premium program is not much older than a year I guess.
I mean I have seen the freebitcoin site earlier but did not think of registration over here as I was not fan of earning bit by bit Satoshi’s. However, as the crypto space is changing the rewarding sites are getting much more client oriented and giving away freebies.

The premium feature seems to me cool. Though I was reading through the thread above it seems that odds of winning higher rewards has dropped a lot lately.

Anyways, the 25% APY is way cool. So going to try it out anyways.
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Marriage done with Blockchain and Minted on NFT - news from India. on: February 07, 2022, 08:07:43 AM
With ever changing era due to current pandemic situation we see restrictions on various functions and rituals on day to day basis. Indian marriages which are usually done by gathering 500 to 2000 people at one place in Banquet halls has taken big turn due to pandemic as the government has plotted strict rule of gathering and marriage to be done only in the presence of 20-50 people now to stop the spread of COVID.

However, one couple taken it even further and made their marriage official by putting the registered court marriage documents and details on the BLOCKCHAIN.

Furthermore, they have launched their own NFT in OpenSea by putting their marriage ring imprinted with names on it.

I think this is something cool and might be categorised as Digital Marriage.

Plus the wedding was held on Google meet.

1729  Economy / Economics / Re: Caentral banks rate rise could be biggest bluff on: February 07, 2022, 07:15:58 AM
I don’t think this is any sort of bluff, they won’t do such big scam and neither would imprint their bad doings in the books of history. I mean yes there are dirty politics around the globe and this has to be done time to time to maintain the legacy of Government or may be nation as such.

Currently inflation is product of poor health care systems and disturbed economy. Let’s not forget that a year ago while nation was standing at one place, all the ships were halted in the seas, all the airplanes were parked on the yard.

It’s not hoax, it was not out of imagination.

We suffered pandemic, we are going through it. I fairly doubt money printing is bluff.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Making valentine's day memorable with bitcoins. on: February 06, 2022, 07:11:07 PM

Cool, love the way he pointed it out on right post at right time. Amazing by the way. How amazing would it be to gift them some satoshi to get started with the bitcoin if they have not already started with it. Or may you can have paper wallet with loaded money on it. May be they can redeem it somewhere nearby at bitcoin ATM thus giving them feeling of using the bitcoin in real world.

Well, I’m bitcoin investor so my ideas would be more or less how to pull my loved once into the bitcoin world. Haha. So go for it, they will surely be your Valentine and be bitcoinist soon.
1731  Economy / Economics / Re: Dealing with tax and crypto ban on: February 06, 2022, 06:13:53 PM
Accepting the crypto taxes does not necessarily mean that government or central banks are actually accepting them as legit assets. Remember that tax acceptance could be Trojan horse situation where Government is saying that they are in favour of it but deep inside they could be plotting big arena battle. The recent case with India, where budget stated that they will levy 30% taxes on the crypto earnings. Just imagine the situation of those who are in India right now. I mean they may be happy but they may not be really happy!

It’s not full ban at all, but it’s indirect ban because who would pay 30% of their income straight in taxes? That’s sorrowful and they can’t just deal with it.
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 06, 2022, 05:38:32 PM
NFT’s good and that’s the evolving market these days. I have seen Roobet promotion on my Twitter and was impressed to see that they are exploring it with their casino. Though they are going to offer monkey NFT as reward (guess so), I think that they should be creating their own Mr. Roo NFT assets. This would not value the casino but the generated assets would be much more in value as we see that fan following is just huge for the Roobet. I have see them taking interest in the artwork contests also, so who would know the value of art better than Roobet team.
Looking forward to see some good surprises from the Roobet NFT.
1733  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: NuMiner (new manufacturer) - are they legit? on: February 06, 2022, 04:43:39 PM
Wanted to publish the same article today as I came across the news regarding this miner. I was so stunned after reading that single machine can produce over 400 TH of power. The machine photo if you checkout is straight out of the sci-fi movie and you can check the same on the article that is linked in reference.

Though the discussion is still on regarding the legitimacy of the miner there is news from coindesk where they stated a deal was cracked by Gryphon mining company with this Numiner firm and they have invested over billion dollars to preorder the Numiner which is miraculously speeding 400 TH mining.

Quote
Meanwhile, the bitcoin miner Gryphon Digital Mining’s special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) deal was reported on by Coindesk in mid-November 2021. The publication further covered Sphere 3D’s acquisition of 60,000 mining rigs from Numiner on Thursday. Gryphon tweeted on February 3, and said that the mining operation was “excited at the prospect of working with Numiner as our pending merger partner, Sphere 3D.” Interestingly, Sphere 3D hasn’t tweeted since February 14, 2019.

1736  Economy / Economics / Re: Dominance and Robbery, the money game of btc dominance (keep updating) on: February 04, 2022, 09:06:55 PM
Mining industry does not seem to have any impact on the crypto currency as seen with the china shut down on crypto mining. So I would really care less on the fact that mining affects the crypto dominance in the world. On the other hand,  if you ask me then china shut down was actually prime importance for the up scale of other counties in the mining industries. The fact is proven by the company which has pre ordered 13,500 ASIC miners by the end of 2022.

I am pretty sure being Chinese you understand that it’s not hampering the world at all. It’s actually giving another opportunity to start with full scale.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: India's 30% tax on income from digital asset on: February 04, 2022, 04:57:16 PM
That is definitely straightforward decommissioning strategy of the crypto currencies in India I guess. They simply don’t want their Indian people to go and invest into crypto freely. Or there is another possible way to earn some good bucks from the taxes and let their people use the crypto. In either way government of India seems to be on winning side here. I am just seeing one positive thing here, they have thought this through and trying to win the hearts of their people. I mean this is perfect politics, they neither deny the fact of using crypto nor using it freely. So it’s up to the people of India whether to use the crypto or not. They are allowed to use it but they have to pay good amount of tax for the same. Well played by PM I guess.
1738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be wiser than the market on: February 04, 2022, 03:34:05 PM
Mostly the market in crypto world is always bending the rules of stocks and shares. Honestly it’s very good for those who knows when to enter in the market and when to exit. These entry and exit strategies are the perfect way to earn most out of tradings.

I think the title should read as be wise when the market is on our sides.  Tongue
If it’s given chance then just enter and buy those coins which you always wished buying. Still many of them are argue why market is bearish. It’s actually chance to get on board tbh.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg sold his cryptocurrency project Diem to Silvergate Bank on: February 04, 2022, 01:54:32 PM
Oh that’s something new now. Mark is always attachy with courts and government since the beginning of Facebook I believe. I am not sure why he did this but looks like some sort of pressure or may be a internal deal that they cracked. This is definitely not as per his roadmap I am pretty sure about that. If he wanted to create a payment system under his subsidiary then why the bank is involved by taking full charge of the same? Isn’t it is strange. I mean there are platforms like payer, PayPal, UPI systems which work independently but with banks. He could have done that easily!
1740  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Binance action revitalize Nigeria community? on: February 04, 2022, 11:22:52 AM
With the amount of control binance is getting I am pretty sure that not users but Binance would benefit a lot from this matter. Obviously if they have taken the big step like freezing the account then there has to be control issues. For example, this seems like forceful KYC completion and thus user has no options but to showcase their crypto earnings to the government. I think one way other this is good for government since as far as i know Nigeria is not that rich country and have no plans of developing in the near future. Most of them are so busy in under education and fleeing out of the country for the hunt of jobs and post education.

So this has complete relation with government trying to take as much info as they could from binance and have taxes levied for the state purpose.
