I agree with you that we strongly support efforts to warn each other to keep Bitcoin assets well and as safe as possible in wallets that provide security not in wallets that can be controlled by others such as exchange wallets even though the exchange has a big name.
Inviting people to a better direction is certainly very pleasant but not in a forced state. Whoever they are, as long as they want to go in a positive direction, we must support them.
This kind of thing obviously must be supported because the direction is good, especially if the person is doing a good thing based on his own intentions and not because of coercion from others. I also agree with what you say because I also like to support people who do good and want to direct more people to good things. One of them is like telling people to keep Bitcoin safe and also giving advice not to sell it at a lower price.
Maybe because there are one or many factors that force them to sell when prices are cheap because the benchmark for cheap Bitcoin prices depends on when they get Bitcoin. But advising against selling includes advice to consider considering the future of Bitcoin will be great.

For me, choosing to sell or not to sell depends on each individual or it is privacy.
But we admit that holding is a better decision than letting go when the price is low.

That's a good explanation of the question. Storing assets such as Bitcoin in exchange wallets is highly discouraged by various considerations that can make assets disappear without a guarantee. What's worse is that assets can be frozen despite the stability of the coins stored.
Continue to convey various knowledge about Bitcoin to anyone who is deemed necessary to explain including how to keep Bitcoin safe.
It could be their choice but yes, we have to educate them about the risk of storing our funds on the exchange because even if it was a known and reputable exchange like Binance, we can't assure that our money is safe from possible hacks and not even sure if they will refund if that will happen. Considering this situation, we better secure it with our controlled wallet which I think was safer than we keep on an exchange wallet.

The situation in Leg 2 at the Allianz Arena could be reversed although that seems difficult.

For last night's result, PSG made it clear that their mentality is not in Europe's highest competition but only in the Domestic League. It may take a few more seasons for PSG to be able to form the mentality we discussed.

It should be with the presence of players like Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Ramos to Donnarumma in the PSG squad can get a victory at home.
Last night's match statistics PSG also lost from ball possession to the number of shoots.
PSG was only able to make 9 shoots, while Bayern Munich managed to record 18.
Even before this match took place, I predicted that Bayern Munich would be superior in terms of mentality even though they were under a lot of pressure from the home fans. And in the gameplay, it is clear that they are having a very difficult time building attacks and developing their game. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, tried to keep pressure on the defense from Paris Saint-Germain, even though it was difficult but in the end they were able to find a way to score a goal. An aggregate of 1 goal is very valuable for Bayern Munich because in the second leg they will play at home and that is something that is profitable for them.
Many people miss predictions like the one you gave for the PSG vs Bayern Munich match. Now everyone is talking about PSG's chances of failing in the UEFA Champion League, but I still feel confident if Messi, Neymar and Mbappe can make things reversed in Leg 2 even though PSG's mentality is doubtful to happen like what I believe.
Winning with a score of 0-1 does open up a great opportunity for Die Bayern to qualify for the next round, but losing Pavard could be a drawback to the depth of the Bayern Munich squad even though Jurgen Nagelsmann still has several worthy replacements.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: February 15, 2023, 05:48:31 AM
Yes, another reason is PSG doesn't have a champion mentally to face Bayern even has a superstar squad. Maybe because of this reason Mbappe want to leave. As we know, it's not fast to build that mental even have alot of money, The club like PSG, Man City and others is have money to buy expensive player and build the superstar squad and maybe able to stand to local league, but it's not work when fight on Champion League where must have mentally like Bayern and Madrid.

He asked me why not just leave the coin on Binance so that when ever he wants to sell it, he can just use the same method; that's when I brought to his notice "Not your key, not your coin," and he was convinced.

The problem in Liverpool isn't the Klopp or the management, Klopp got some players he wanted this January transfer. The issue in the team is understanding, the players are lacking connection in the field, they need more time to blend together. Sacking Klopp will bring more disaster to the team, yes they might not win any trophy this season but I believe Liverpool will do better next year, depend on efforts the players and Klopp put in. The management should give Klopp more time work understand these players. No doubt Mane departure really affect the team and no one has been able to replace his big vaccum in the attacking line.
It is a ritual that if the team's performance declines, the coach is the target of the analysis. For example, two consecutive seasons a team managed to become a finalist and entering the third season, the team experienced a drastic decline then all observers gave the opinion that the coach should be replaced. They all forget what the coach gave to the team in the previous two seasons. That is the condition of Liverpool.
You are right. Sacking Klopp is not something that can save Liverpool's performance. It is precisely the communication between players that must be built by Liverpool players who get the trust of Klopp in the line up of every match they play.

We cannot be sure that the victory over Everton will be the starting point for Liverpool to rise. But behind the victory there are several positive points that make us as Liverpool supporters get. One of them is that communication between players has begun to appear as done by Gakpo, Nunez and Mohamed Salah.

<snip>

It seems that there are some various provisions of laws being rethought, rewritten and/or reinterpreted in order to refuse to recognize bitcoin and to even fight against bitcoin, even though a sovereign nation has chosen bitcoin as one of their official means in which value can be transacted within their country.

<snip>
Here I can tell that they will continue to make efforts to achieve their goals. No offense to the IMF and no defense of El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin. Like two sides of a coin, El Salvador will continue to take the steps it has made while the IMF will try to obstruct or prevent it for various reasons.

As a financial institution, perhaps the IMF feels that they will get support in terms of financial warnings against El Salvador, but I think that behind it all is a fear that Bitcoin will become an official currency because it can beat the value of fiat currencies. That's my logic and I agree with you that they don't want Bitcoin to be recognized.

Sooner or later, Manchester City can take over Arsenal's position in the standings.
Now the difference with Arsenal is only 3 points with 22 matches while Arsenal have only played 21 matches. The team that Arsenal will play against in the remaining 1 match (Round 16) is Manchester City.

The match will be played on Feb 16, 2023 at Emirates Stadium, but I'm not sure Arsenal can beat Manchester City. If the result of the match is a draw, then the difference in points is also not so far.
Lately Arsenal are experiencing a decline in performance while Manchester City always look promising in every match.
Things would have been even better had Manchester City won that match. I can't wait to see how these two teams clash strategies during the match, and I hope the referee and VAR don't spoil the intense competition between these two teams.

Arteta and Guardiola both know what the strengths and weaknesses of their respective teams are. They must be quite aware that there is a clear opportunity to win and also lose, while this match will really determine Arsenal's journey to the title this season. If Arsenal win, then they can be one step ahead of Manchester City, but conversely Manchester City can also go one step ahead of Arsenal and prove who the real king is.

Sooner or later, Manchester City can take over Arsenal's position in the standings.

Yesterday's Man City victory brought them closer to Arsenal's points and that became a threat to Arteta and his troops. The second half of the season is increasingly difficult to predict because the competition for the top of the standings will heat up. This is the most important moment where their meeting will greatly determine the extent of the difference in the strengths of Arteta and Pep Guardiola's squad. Interestingly they meet and in my opinion the big match between Arsenal vs Man City will be very dramatic. As 2 people who used to be partners, of course both Pep Guardiola and Arteta want to show perfect results. I don't want a draw because someone needs to stand victorious to prove who deserves to be at the top of the standings.
I need to correct a little that Arsenal vs Manchester City on Feb 16, 2023 is not a postponed match week 16 PL, but week 12.

Let's just say Manchester City can win in the postponed round 12 match later and the points are equal. Arsenal still have 1 more match left which will be played on March 2, 2023 at Emirates Stadium against Everton. The results of the match against Manchester City could be an influence when facing Everton even though the Toffes are struggling to rise from the relegation zone position.

Therefore, I assume that sooner or later Arsenal's position will be overtaken by Manchester City with the depth of the squad owned by Pep Guardiola. The betting market still promises that Manchester City will be lifting the PL trophy this season.

Sometimes I like to spend 5 - 10 minutes of my time reading JJG's post replies at a time, it's always good for knowledge. I never asked him why he tends to write that long, but I think it's an addiction.  Grin
Even behind something I am not good at, I dare to invite by making mention of JayJuanGee and DdmrDdmr to read their posts on the explanation being discussed.

I didn't discuss how he issued merits to posts that were deemed worthy. But I can suggest to the OP that when the mood is not friendly, reading their posts sometimes tend to bore us because they are too long. But to add insight and reference, reading JayJuanGee's posts will provide additional energy for our brains including DdmrDdmr's posts.

At the foot of this post you’ll find an article poste don IMF’s website, where they summarize the outcome of the official staff visit to El Salvador.

In terms of bitcoin related comment, they essentially reiterate their opinion on the country being exposed to a series of risks to "financial integrity and stability, fiscal sustainability, and consumer protection", though the limited use of bitcoin there, in practical terms, and from a macroscopic point of view, currently sets those risks way lower that the IMF might have thought it could be by now.

The IMF also slaps El Salvador on the wrists for their lack of transparency on bitcoin purchases and the Chivo System itself, something that seems a clear call that many can abide to. They vouch for proper audits to be carried out, indicating that one on the bitcoin trust fund (aka fidebitcoin) will soon conclude. Let's see if we get wind of that later on publicly.

As to the bitcoin bonds (or other token based products), the IMF is essentially discouraging their issuance, labelling them as something to avoid due to fiscal risks. Nevertheless, the kind of state that, if they do go ahead with them, the controls and guarantees should bathe in the best practices of traditional securities. It looks like they don't want them to go forward with them, but are well aware that they are going to come through regardless of IMFs will (as expected).

See:

It wouldn't be wrong if I wanted an explanation from you and JayJuanGee on the adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador. Your and JayJuanGee explanations really prove that the knowledge of Bitcoin development information in El Salvador is above most people present in this thread.

Regarding the risks of Bitcoin, the IMF continues to prioritize Article IV in 2021 even though their intention to El Salvador as stated in the official website you shared was to consult on Article IV 2023.
I will try to study both articles so that they can be taken into consideration to add to my knowledge regarding the IMF's desire for El Salvador's Bitcoin adoption.

Even though it was not a surprising result, Manchester City really thought that result was very important. But they need to be able to take advantage of every game enough to get 3 points because Arsenal still lead the standings by one point. Now Arsenal's advantage is only 2 points, and of course, tight competition will be expected after Arsenal lead the standings for quite a while.

The come back of Manchester City and the decline in form of Arsenal have made the title race even tougher. Arsenal have failed to maintain consistency in the last few matches, this has made them lose the 5 points they should have earned. Clearly Manchester City put that to good use, and now there is hope to see Manchester City dump Arsenal to 2nd place if Arsenal lose their next match against Manchester City.
Sooner or later, Manchester City can take over Arsenal's position in the standings.

WHY DOES A GAMBLER DON'T HAVE A SAVINGS.
Because they are already addicted to the type of gambling being played. A gambler who has no savings is a gambler who has been hypnotized by the victory he has felt so that when he loses, the gambler will continue to try to find more money to return to play in the hope that he will win again after losing enough.
As many people say, a gambler with no savings is a gambler who is irresponsible with his finances.
He has nothing else on his mind but to find money to gamble.

The IMF, after another visit to Central America, changed the rhetoric regarding the policy of accepting bitcoin by El Salvador, saying that the risks associated with El Salvador's policy regarding bitcoin did not materialize, but El Salvador, according to the IMF, should reconsider plans to expand state participation in bitcoin. Here, it seems to me that the IMF is reflecting on the recently adopted law on digital assets, I hope that the adoption of this law will help El Salvador to further strengthen its position on the adoption of bitcoin. Smiley

Source: https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/imf-says-el-salvadors-bitcoin-risks-have-not-materialized-should-be-addressed-2023-02-11/
We don't know the extent of Bitcoin development in El Salvador but I personally keep trying to scour various news sites to find out about Bitcoin development in El Salvador.
Since the initial announcement made by Nayyib Bukele that their country would legalize Bitcoin, many people have opposed the policy. The IMF was no exception.
The IMF was the first to warn Bukele to reconsider his decision on the grounds of economic safety and so on.

Then with the news you shared, Reuters wrote that the IMF again warned El Salvador to reconsider their efforts regarding Bitcoin bonds.
Actually, according to my observation from this Reuters news, the IMF thinks that El Savodor is avoiding IMF financing.
But with their visit, I can judge that the IMF has seemed to have lowered their tension a little than what has been stated in the past.

I am waiting for a clear explanation from some people who are more familiar with this such as @JayJuanGee and @DdmrDdmr.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 12, 2023, 08:33:44 AM
Maybe I wasn't surprised by Chelsea's draw against West Ham because I didn't fully believe in the performance of coach Graham Potter and his players, this kept Chelsea in 9th place in the standings. Meanwhile, the result that I think is very surprising is that Arsenal again failed to get a win after being held to a draw by Brentford at the Emirates Stadium. This result made Mikel Arteta have to keep working hard in the next match because he again failed to widen the distance from Manchester City in the standings.
Chelsea have not been good since Graham Potter became coach. The 1-1 result at home to West Ham United did not make many people disappointed because those who bet on the match had considered Chelsea's performance so far.
There has been no significant change to Chelsea even though the owner has spent a lot of money from his pocket to get good players.

Maybe that makes the Arsenal vs Brentford match unexpected for the draw. Usually the team coached by Arteta can score above 2 goals but in reality they cannot win at home.
But with the acquisition of a draw Arsenal can make the competition for the Premier League trophy tighter especially if Manchester City can win the match against Aston Villa.

Both teams were not in the best of form. Perhaps in this match the situation will be different from their last match. West Ham and Chelsea have the same motivation and I can feel that the atmosphere of the London Stadium will be interesting to watch.

The line-up is confirmed, Joao Felix is included in the starting line-up and he will be a good duo with Enzo Fernandez.
Bowen and Rice will be the servants who will provide service to Antonio up front for West Ham.
I'm assuming that this match is more likely to be a draw.
The game has started and Chelsea look to take over the game and it looks like they want to score a quick goal to make their game more comfortable going forward. Even though Chelsea is in a form that cannot be completely trusted, I think it would not hurt to give them confidence in them by betting on Chelsea's win in this match. I'll give it a try, even if it's risky.  Grin
It's been 35 minutes into the match and what I said about Joao Felix being a good duo to build Chelsea's attack do you still not believe?
Did you watch how Joao Felix scored in the 16th minute?
There's still plenty of time left in the game and West Ham will be looking to avoid dropping points in this one and again Bowen set up Emerson's equalizer. It will be an interesting match until the end of time.

The odds on Chelsea's win is 2.2 against West Ham... Although Chelsea are not in great form at the moment, they have not lost their last games... I think you can take a chance and bet on their win today because West Ham are not very good either, although they played 1-1 away against Newcastle in their last match... I'm in favour of Chelsea today...

1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My ideals on how to promote Bitcoin in my locality on: February 11, 2023, 11:37:33 AM
There are so many ways Bitcoin can be promoted especially here in Nigeria and wold wide.
Firstly religious leaders play a very interesting roles in the life of people and are seen as role models and mentors some see them as a father figure, so what ever this set of people tell there followers that is what exactly they will all do.
With the numbers of churches and mosques that we have I know if Bitcoins is been enlightened to us through this regions then people will trust and believe in BTC, Bitcoin will surely go more far and spread wide with this ideas.
Secondly Bitcoin is better than saving in a bank because it appreciate while it is been saved in our wallets and it is also an investment, so many people complain from there day to day activities with the local banks of been debited without cause and reducing the expected savings this is not a good reputation and Bitcoin has solve this aspect of issues, with the security of wallets, hard ware and software wallets fraud is been reduced making both the old and the young to believe that they are saved from been scammed through BTC.

#Just my thoughts.
It will not work optimally if promotion is done through religious channels. I understand the point of your good thinking that is trying to share thoughts on how to promote Bitcoin widely, but there are many other paths we can take to do so.

Maybe in your country Bitcoin is acceptable and can be easily promoted, but there are countries that still limit crypto activities and there may even be countries that prohibit any type of activity.
Things like this must also be included in our minds when we try to think about the right method of promoting Bitcoin.

Religious leaders are better off focusing on activities that lead to human self-change for the better for themselves and for their country.
This is just my thinking too.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trans-generational assets? on: February 11, 2023, 09:54:41 AM
No one really knew that Bitcoin could be as valuable as it is today from being so worthless that a large amount could only get you a slice of Pizza.

I wouldn't say nobody knew it was going to be extremely valuable.  I think back when it was under $10 I was telling people that my valuation of the network put it at a per coin value of around $4,000.  Nobody cared because at the time most of the people in this community had no idea what market caps were.  I recall arguing with people who were saying Bitcoin would go to below a penny and thinking they must be extremely dumb or ignorant to how assets are valued.  Imagine thinking now that a coin facilitating trade in the hundreds of millions per year (yes, even back then) could have a market cap in the low thousands of dollars...
Only a small percentage can read and interpret everything we say. Maybe Bitcoin at that time, which was not widely known by many people in the community, would be as valuable as it is today.

From Bitcoin's journey I can answer that what is needed is the belief that Bitcoin will be the most valuable asset in the future behind the fears that some people have.
If seen and studied further, Bitcoin has provided answers to many people that Bitcoin is the way for those who have doubts about it from various points of view.

No one really knew that Bitcoin could be as valuable as it is today from being so worthless that a large amount could only get you a slice of Pizza.
Furthermore, before the Bitcoin price reached the All Time High (ATH) at $69K which was reached on November 10, 2021, who would have thought it could drop back to $16K.

What we need to strengthen our knowledge about Bitcoin is the belief that Bitcoin is an asset that has a strong foundation even though a limited number of Bitcoins are created.
There is no special knowledge apart from that belief my friend.
