Bayern get the 1-0 win over PSG. They looked very dangerous in the 2nd half and PSG did not look very good all game I think Bayern could have scored more on a different day. I wonder what PSG will do they have been trying for many years to get a champions league trophy but they are failing again. They have replaced many managers and I think they are starting to run out of ideas. They need to change tactics and stop relying on their attack. Their defense is not good enough because most of their players join the attack when they get possession. Mbappe nearly rescued PSG but it was ruled out and I think they made the right decision. I think that is the problem with PSG they rely on their key players like Mbappe to get them out of games like this and he nearly did it again but when you rely on your key players too much when they do not deliver the team gets stuck. We see this with Messi too.

I think a investment in defense in the transfer window will set them up well for future competitions but for this competition I do not expect them to beat Bayern in their next game and they will have a deficit to overcome.

Match between Ac milan and Tottenham, I expected this winning from AC Milan because UEFA champions league is a strong competition that is been seen as an important campaign so despite the bad form of AC Milan in their league, they won't joke with this competition because they are at home and also they have good record in the champions league,  they home team 7 minutes early goal help them to seal up the game and it was defended till the final whistle so let's expect more good results from now onward from the host team.

Bayern dominated the game and truly deserved the win although countless have had more advantage going into the second had Choupo moting not wasted some chance and some excellent stops by Donarruma. Analyzing the match, PSG were flattened in the midfield and the high line played by Bayern worked perfectly. The five man midfield choked PSG and it left Messi and Co without service in the attack. In the second leg should Bayern play this same formation then it might cost them. It was clear PSG needed more direct player and Nuno Mendez and Mbappe provided that which ultimately broke Bayern’s high line and even resulted in a goal which correctly ruled out for offside. Bayern should just revert back to the regular back 4 in the second leg

Too bad for Bayern in that first half that they couldn't score a goal after completing dominating the game, luckily they have been able to score in this half and kept a clean record so far. Neymar has not played so well, PSG suddenly had more chances when Mbappe was subbed in, had he been played on time, they would have had better chance than they did. The goal that PSG managed to score that was ruled out for offside by VAR will be talked about, but on the brighter side of things, PSG will have a second chance and a goal down is something they can recover from in the second leg.

Yes, unfortunately Bayern couldn't score in the first half, I see Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was unlucky there were a lot of good opportunity for this guy. Alphonso Davies give a good pass for Kingsley Coman, so Bayern got a scored and I think that's a pretty good goal from Coman. I'm quite disappointed with Galtier, If Mbappe play on the first half maybe PSG can scored. But yeah you're right, I also believe PSG in the second leg they can recover and can play better, because in this first leg PSG striker are not in good performance.

Bayern Munich dominated the through out, their performance was great which I didn't expect it will be like this, everything about Bayern Munich performance was outstanding. To me the game was not tough for Bayern Munich,  Bayern Munich would have scored more than 1 goal just that there chances didn't work out for them. We now know which team is the strongest with good performance between PSG and Bayern Munich. I feel most of the PSG players are having slight injuries that led to there poor performance.

All English teams except Arsenal have been performing below expectations and Arsenal has had some bad form in the Premier League in their last couple of games. I wonder if it is because of the intensity of the Premier League and the scheduling that is affecting English teams in the Champions League. Manchester City has not looked good and Tottenham have looked 1 of the worst to qualify for the Champions League.

Mbappe is their answer for every losing position but he has injury problems and afaik he is recovering from a injury it was risky bringing him on because he has not fully recovered but they had to because they rely on him more then any other player. He scores most of their goals. They need to start thinking about different tactics and not relying on a player that struggles with injuries.

Manchester United have lost Casemiro which is their best player and they rely on him to control the midfield. They have struggled without him and if he is not fit for the Barcelona game I think Barcelona will find the game easy because they will be able to overload the midfield and control the game. I wonder if the Manchester United takeover talks by Qatar could distract the players to because that will be 1 of the biggest moves in football history.

If Casemiro is available I will be more confident that Manchester United wins the game. Manchester United have the players to beat Barcelona but they do not play fluid without Casemiro. Does any one know the extent of the injury that Casemiro has?

Seeing PSG can do nothing since the first half make me believe if Bayern will be destroying PSG on its home. It's proven if messi is always having bad results against bayern. Bayern is well known as a team that is very aggressive. That was making messi feel panic with it.
Coman and moting have been getting so many golden chances but 1 goal away is enough for bayern. Bayern will be facing PSG again in allianz arena. This gonna be a very good place to send back PSG to its local league.

PSG fell far short of my expectations tonight, and I was deeply disappointed in the team when they were defeated by Bayern Munich. I don't feel Bayern Munich was significantly superior than PSG, due to injuries to several of bayern players  and their performances in their league. According to my observations, PSG's coordination was inadequate, notably in their midfield. They produced few accurate passes and lacks of good attack first half. However, after the entrance of Mbamppe, the second half they improved and featured an enticing attack and created some chances despite not converted goals.

Totthenem could not fully establish the bridge in the midfield. He wasn't very good in Milan, but they took advantage of the goal he scored in the first minutes. Milan players constantly fouled Kane to alienate him from the game without receiving a card, so they could control Kane sufficiently. They somehow took control of the game. Totthenem lack of good players in the midfield was very evident, there was a communication breakdown

It was just a matter of goal Tottenham did not score, which made people feel view their low performance, but they played well in my opinion because they make an attractive attack and have some good chances but unfortunately it was not converted to goals and for ball possession it was 50/50 according to analysis. And, as for the midfielders' poor performance, it was not surprise to me given that is Tottenham's current playing style, as it is usually difficult for them to attack through midfield. Milan had been struggling in their league competition nowadays , but they put in a good effort tonight, and I am glad for them. I believe the second leg will be difficult because Tottenham will be at home.

An important step for sure but not a huge one since the goal scored in aways game is no more counted as 2 goals as far as I know. PSG mission is difficult for sure but Bayern isn't safe either.
Milan also got also an important victory vs Spurs with an early goal by Diaz. It has at long time since they win at this stage from what I learned.

Again, again and again Bayern Munich is an obstacle for PSG to qualify for the next round, even though Bayern Munich now no longer has its flagship striker who moved to Barcelona but still Bayern Munich is a team that is hard to beat in the champions league, experience and mentality that Bayern Munich has able to destroy the depth of the star squad owned by PSG, even though it only lost 1-0 and PSG still has a chance in the second leg later, but at least this defeat can make PSG work harder when playing at the Allianz Arena later.

 It would have been a great encounter between both clubs but unfortunately for Barc and UTD they're not in the UCL any longer, both teams were eliminated in the group stages and now they have to battle it out in the UEFA Europa League having Man UTD in a better form than Barcelona, am really sure that UTD will make Old Trafford a busy and an uncomfortable place for the visitors, talking about the Catalans.

if we look at the composition of the players + the match happened at PSG home then PSG should have won but that didn't happen, bayern is a team that has the mentality of winning the UCL 6 times so it's difficult for PSG to match that, if mbappe continues to be at PSG, I'm sure he will never be able to get the UCL trophy at any time, moving clubs is the best choice.

PSG don't have champion mentality at this stage and their performance in Champions League is even worse than Chelsea in the past. Before winning their first Champions League, Chelsea were already a giant there and in many seasons, they brought fear to opponents around Europe.

PSG is oppositely, as they likely are fearful when playing in Champions League. Like in the match with PSG at their home stadium, they let Bayern totally controlled the match. It's a shame when they are a host and played at home.

Bayern always have good players and they are smart to choose players for their team. After the injury of Neuer, they wisely picked Yann Sommer who is a very good goalkeeper and experienced a lot of tough matches in Euro and World Cup with Switzerland. The match with PSG shows that he is a very good replacement for Neuer in short term and long term as well.

Both Bayern and PSG have very good players but as a team, PSG players are not able to unite as a whole solid team and in their team, there are holes that affect them a lot in Champions League. I believe one of biggest weaknesses of PSG is their coach position and they must find a coach who is winner in Champions League like Ancelotti and Mourinho. They have many good attacking players so they don't need to have a coach like Pep or Klopp. They must find a coach who can bring balance for their team by improving their defense.
