Indian cricket team is not having a good time right now. They have lost test series to underdogs i.e. SA and the credit for this goes to kohli and bcci administration. Players who are not performing must be dropped to play domestic cricket and regain form. There is no harm in giving kohli a break, since he is continuously not performing. In India it's a culture that senior players are mandatory part of team whether they perform or not.
Surely they have not good time because it's happen after SENA defeats but never mind because now Sri Lanka is coming and after them Australia is also having tour with this all many players will be back in good form at home and give some extraordinary performance because nothing is good then home.

Pujara and Rahane is also going to shine against Sri Lanka and with this performance they are going to have spot against Australia with someone already mention in above post these Senior Players having some good hold on things which are happening in team, so I am feeling there is no good chance for new emerging players for having spot in team but their dedication and love for sport can give them some better result in near future because every thing is going to change.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins still makes you rich or end of trend? on: January 20, 2022, 04:23:14 PM
Once people was crazy about meme coin. After publishing lots of article, videos Against meme coins as cautioins, and after knowing that such step would be risky but they keep invested on such coins for earn quick money. Doge was pumped after elon tweet but dump again. now it seems people are more careful than before and most of memcoins got flop. so holding meme coins still make you rich or soon it'll be end of meme trend?
Everything has a season in the cryptocurrency market, so most people tend to hop into it when they see that opportunity, so that they can make income from it. A lot of people already know that this trend would come to an end, in fact right from time we are all aware of it, but some people would still try to go for it because they know that there is still that opportunity of making income.

There are lots of people that it favoured, and there are also those that had bad luck from it. Some people got in and invested when the trend was already over and the market was going down, so they didn’t gain from it and were the losers, while there are those who were lucky enough to invest when the trend was hot and the market was still increasing in value.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 19, 2022, 08:11:40 PM
I don't think Arsenal and Tottenham are capable of such a long winning streak (especially Arsenal - they're going to have very difficult games now) but still if Chelsea keep losing points their third place will be less clear. By the way, all these "surprises" and interesting calculations will attract our attention for a long time - when there are teams in the top with a difference of 5 (LOL!) games played, this has to be taken into account.
Agree here it's not easy for any team specially into Premier League where we have most unpredictable results around European Leagues like we have Chelsea vs Brighton where most of the pundits were feeling easy win for Chelsea but Brighton done something special right now we have another good match in progress where Leicester City is leading by 1 - 0 against Tottenham which is very entertaining start of match even Tottenham playing very aggressively but still Leicester City is having some better finishing so here for staying at top you need some very good quality and good touch currently just two teams having some better spots Manchester City and Liverpool all others need to do some hard work for staying around otherwise they can lose their spot like Chelsea and West Ham.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 19, 2022, 06:58:10 PM
Mbappe's transfer is still inconclusive as PSG management still wants him to finish up the season with them. But Maldrid has offered €200m to facilitate his release but PSG is rather still proving a bit though. Mbappe is willing to leave but PSG is still trying hard to convince him to stay maybe the have dreams of having him lift the championships league this season for PSG
One thing is sure Later or now Mbappé is going to leave PSG for Real Madrid dream spot it's all matter of time because he was already dreaming about this and with offer like €200m is awesome for player like his quality, but he is doing right now and going to finish this season because right now it's very important for him to complete this all here and then go for his next destination success of failure in this new club is nothing matter but still he has time and quality for shining for some long time.

PSG still have some good number of quality players and after exit of Mbappé they can do much better things for their better future as we all know for next season we are going to have some good number of changes in this team as coach and many players entry and exit going to happen.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: January 19, 2022, 06:35:40 PM
I believe people running FIFA have no clue on how to assign quotas and they keep on experimenting to see what works, and sadly in the process they end up destroying the game we love so much. Lastly we can criticise them all we want, but this is the reality and sadly we need to accept it and move on because they won’t bend their ego and do what’s right for this sport.
Every one is going with his own statement and view but remember few things even Africa and Asia are biggest in population but sadly in quality these both are much behind UEFA because of their own sacks but in Europe we have much higher quality in soccer, so they deserve this all on other side in African many players are now slipping into Europe for better future and Asia is still had no good structure.

About CONMEBOL, they are also having some better quality, but they are OK with current number of teams. Right now Asia need to improve quality for having some better number, but it's not easy for them and European dominance is unchallengeable for all others in quality.
1726  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 19, 2022, 08:38:05 AM
Just checked the live crude oil prices and they are edging up towards the $100 per barrel mark. If breached, this will be a very important psychological level. Three digit prices were last seen in 2014. And this would translate to disaster for oil consuming countries such as USA, China, India and Japan, by further pushing up the inflation rate and trade deficit. Now they can't even attempt to replace gasoline-run vehicles with EVs, as Lithium prices have rocketed upwards. EVs are now unaffordable for the vast majority of the population. I won't be surprised if the inflation rate hits double digits later this year.
I am not surprised about this case, because when something becomes a trend and there is a high demand for it, there is also the possibility that the price or the value will increase, higher than it was before. So, lithium has now increased in value and that is because of the demand for it has also increased. Before when there was nothing like EV, and no one really cared much about lithium, the price was low and that was because the demand wasn’t much.

But, since the demand now is getting much and there are lots of companies now jumping on the production of EV, then you should also see the value increase as well to match the level of demand that there is. That is just the case here, and it would still go further.
1727  Economy / Economics / Re: Doctors fear health care collapse amid omicron surge on: January 19, 2022, 06:16:49 AM
most of the time the most deadly version of a pandemic will be the first strain, after it the strains evolve to spread even faster and to more individuals at the cost of their lethality, so while I think that at some point most of the people around the world will get this new variant, it is not going to be as bad as what we saw at the beginning of the pandemic, and the hospitals will not get overcrowded even with a huge number of people fighting the disease, as most of them will get better with over the counter medicine and rest on their homes.
Yes, I was also going to say the same thing about this version of the coronavirus, Omicron. I read about it on the WHO website, and from what I understood, it is not as deadly as the first version of the covid19 virus, because they have said that there has been less hospitalization, but even at that, they still advised people to do the necessary things that they are meant to do to avoid the spread of the virus, so that there wouldn’t be a lot of strain on healthcare workers.

So, this version seems to be less severe, but even at that that,it doesn’t mean we should be careless about it. We should all still be very careful and watch our steps and do our best as much as possible to make sure that we avoid this virus and put an end to it once and for all.
1728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Supercycle or Halving cycle still? on: January 19, 2022, 04:54:35 AM
The adoption this year had made the new generations wake up learning how to invest and trade to make money in the crypto market. More Bitcoin holders are coming.
Yeah, this is the reason speculators here are not expecting another bloodbath but sustaining market conditions which will get us this cycle to be an unique one. But, profit booking will definitely happen but having profit booking after 10x or 20x growth and up to 50% correction may not be a concern. Hence usual halving cycle will persist even we are having differently long duration based super cycle this time.

As of now, market is still into sideways movement; it will slowly get into supercycle but if it keeps correcting from the current price levels then we can say it would be normal halving cycle but without a 10x growth.
1729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs projection regarding BTC on: January 18, 2022, 09:59:04 PM
Quote
Goldman Sachs forecasts a Bitcoin price of $100,000 and the potential of it eventually supplanting gold.

According to Goldman Sachs, Bitcoin may continue to supplant gold as a reserve of value asset and so reach $100,000 a unit. The bank thinks that the BTC is worth $700 billion on the open market. The overall market value of gold is $2.6 trillion.

What are the implications of this news? Is this a possibility?
This has been talked at length before. Goldman Sachs is bullish on bitcoin and that is what they are telling their investors and that is why in order to save face during the period where bitcoin is at the most vulnerable position they have to say things like this to keep it optimistic for their investors.

If you tell people that 2x is possible in the near future if they buy it, then they are going to listen to you, or at least some of them will listen to you, especially the ones that made profit with you before. So, this is not really a shocking news, they are not really saying 100k will happen, what they are really saying is it will be 100k so give us your money.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2022, 09:44:55 PM
It’s very funny seeing this Bukayo Saka's transfer saga. Arsenal can never listen to any offer from any club. First of all him Saka is not thinking about leaving the club anytime soon. He’s just 20 and he’s one of the fastest developing players in the world. Arsenal will never want to allow him leave. He’s a integral part of the Arsenal team. In fact he’s one of the players is the team play and tactics is built upon. I don’t know what Juergen Klopp wants to do with him. They have Mo Salah on the flank already. Mo has like 3-4 years to play. They can’t buy Saka and sit him out on the bench awaiting Salah to leave before he plays.
When you are a team like Liverpool, you can offer any money at all to any team. They built a team with very little amount of transfer expense and that is why they have some money saved aside. They haven't spent anything like United or City, and yet they have won the league and UCL as well during the same period. This is why I believe that Liverpool could get Saka if they wanted to.

However, I believe that they do not "need" him, it would be a great transfer for sure and there is no doubt that he would help Liverpool be a little bit better, even if just to make sure their bench is deep because you have Mane and Salah helping out so much that Saka wouldn't be at the first thought places. Just because he can make them better, doesn't mean Liverpool lacks someone like him, it would be just "good to have" and not "must have" for them so Arsenal will not be willing to sell for that type of money, they want to either keep him, or sell him for insane amount of money.
1731  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: January 18, 2022, 09:34:35 PM
Even investing in crypto is profitable (specially for long period) still there's guarantee that you'll gain the moment you already need to pay your borrowed money.

Investing is risky and no matter how proven to be profitable it is, dont take a loan just to invest. It is still better save and use it for capital, so regardless of the outcome you dont have to worry since you used your own money.

So be wise and dont make a decision that you'll regret if something unexpected happened on your investment.
The mathematics is that if you borrow 1000 dollars, you do not pay it 12 months later, you pay it monthly. So, let's assume in 12 months bitcoin did a 2x, and even some more, it grows 10% more each month by calculation, you will still lose money. How? Well, let's take an example, you get 1k, and after first month it is 1.1k, but you need to pay 110 dollars, so now you are left with 990 dollars.

Second month it grow to 1089 dollars (10% again) but you still need to pay 110 dollars, so you are left with  979, after another month it is 1076 and you pay 110 dollars and get 966. Basically it goes like this for a whole year and you end up with less money than you took out and you didn't make any profit.

Plus, you need to make 10% every single month back to back for 12 months, how realistic is that? Considering you may even lose money at some months, it is a bad idea even on the best cases, worse on bad cases.

We have a date for Ferrari, 1 Month from Today.

Source: https://twitter.com/ScuderiaFerrari/status/1482978716997373952
Most teams will show their new car during February, that much is known. However we need to actually see them running, they need to be tested to see actually what happens. I mean don't get me wrong the style of the car matters a lot, an ugly car usually doesn't really impact that much but marketing is very important in this sport and without those cars getting attention, we are not going to get too much money. Remember those pink bwt cars? Most people hated them for a while, then it grew on us right? So marketing is important but not really "that" important.

We know how black and silver Mercedes will be, and how red bull colors for red bull, those are all known. The only important thing is, these cars have a brand new design and that could change a lot of things or maybe not change anything at all, we need to see that and figure out who will be what.
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 18, 2022, 08:53:03 PM
If refers to the OP means, ADA won't do 10x if bitcoin marketcap or whole crypto market marketcap is not impoved at least double the current numbers.
Because if the marketcap of ADA multiply by 10 it will surpass ETH marketcap which is hard to happen right now.
And i'm agree with the rest you mentioned but not sure will going that high since XRP is a centralized based coin
ADA will definitely not do 10x, that is just way too much. I believe that there is a good chance it could do 2x, or even 3x if the market is right, but that is about it. People should stop trying to make wealth out of crypto over night. I know there are some people who got into things like shiba or doge and made a ton of money in 2021, and there have been some altcoins that did a lot of profit for many people. Just because it happened to some people doesn't mean that it has to happen to you.

On top of that, the ones that went high like that were not coins that were around top 10 ranks, most of the top 10 ranks did not do 10x inside one year, they did went x10+ in 2+ years period but not in a year. So, I believe that the best we can hope for ADA is x3 and that's it, nothing more. I do not know which coins will make 10x but they are not around top 10 rankings.

Coming back to the Indian test cricket, i guess KL Rahul looks set to lead team India  Undecided , this new transition period is going to be very exciting.
KL Rahul is confirmed? I was thinking about Rishab Pant due to his significant success as skipper in IPL matches rather than any KL Rahul's records. So, India will have Rohit for white ball cricket and Rahul for test matches. What would be the next test series for India? Because, I am as well excited to watch how India will cope up their form and dominance in test format across different skippers.

Moreover, I also expected to have Bumbrah like how CA opted Cummins as a surprise package but bowlers' frequent prone to injury must be a criteria they would have considered like how most boards do consider these days.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: January 18, 2022, 06:10:01 PM
as far as I understand, they succeed very poorly, since it is easy to “pressure” an organization, but it is difficult to “pressure” a large number of people.
Yeah, the next big progress of gambling industry might be coming out from governments' side in terms of regulations. As long as people are preferring to have fiats as one of their payment options then casinos will go for license related things which again lead to get approval from governments; when gamblers stick within cryptos for their gambling, then casinos will be able to operate without need of government's nod which will eliminate the possibilities of government's intervention into gambling industry.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 17, 2022, 06:49:02 PM
England lost 5 wickets and still need 170 runs which implies that they are pretty much screwed. Looks like this series will end as 4 - 0.
The England batsman did not disappoint, they were true to their performance and they did not battle like they did in the last Test where they were able to draw and now they surrendered without much fight apart from the first wicket partnership Cheesy.
It's worst performance from any England side in The Ashes since 1890 but still Joe Root and Coach Silverwood insisting they are not stepping down from their roles because they are feeling it's not their failure it's all the system's failure which is correct but now ECB need to do some quick and tough decisions for having better way for their cricket in near future.

Now, they are going to West Indies where they will play 5 T20 and then 3 test matches most chances here they will do some better as West Indies is also one off worst test sides in current cricket community with many issues on and off the field. But for some better future they need to overhaul their cricketing system which is more than crap now for last few decades.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: Thinking through how the blockchain and related tech might impact real estate. on: January 16, 2022, 09:25:41 PM
In a recent interview long-time real estate innovator Teresa Grobecker made the bold claim that in about a decade home titles will be hosted on a blockchain as NFTs.
I mean is it impossible to do? It is not. You could own a house and NFT would be the proof of that. However let's be honest with each other, we are talking about a place where we will not really have that much comfort, NFT is not really good enough ownership when we are talking about something physical like a whole house.

I believe arts and music and tweets and all that could work great for NFT because they are digital stuff, keep NFT as digital and paper ownership proof as the real deal for houses. I know it is not going to be impossible to handle it right away, and NFT could eventually get in there and make a difference but I am not sure if I want it to.
1738  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 16, 2022, 08:28:55 PM
I love stake as much as anyone but I have recently stopped playing here because one of my friends whom I know in real life got his funds locked and there was no apparent reason either apart from that he won big.

I understand all the KYC and stuff they need but blocking funds and keeping them is not a solution at all. I withdrew immediately all I had and now I am not playing here anymore until at least his problem is solved. No hate though and I am sure they must have a reason to ask for KYC but delaying and blocking his funds for weeks with no update is simply terrible.

Anyone who plays at stake, while they are great at bonuses, I feel KYC is becoming more of a necessity at this stage maybe because of the license or whatever.
1739  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 15, 2022, 09:32:33 PM
Hello am new here and am interested in gambling but with the rate of scams casino I am finding it difficult to know the right site that don't scam players?
When you are choosing a casino, it’s either going to be that you are doing your research and learning from the experience of other people, or you are going to have the experience yourself and know whether that casino is fit for you or not. When you are choosing a casino, it is going to be based on what you really want, or the types of games you would like to play. that’s what would help you know which casino you are actually going for. And then when you have decided on this, the next thing you will have to do is to start researching online on the best casinos based on what you really want.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 15, 2022, 06:26:48 PM
Cricket is progressing on its own, we cant say ICC has any role in spreading cricket to new countries of the world. One thing is clear that countries are no more interested in ODI and Test, focus is only on T20. Its better to restrict cricket to Test and T20 format only. Players are unable to keep form in so many formats.
Test matches still have some good future in long run, just ODI could be wiped out from scene because it's not having any good point to stay around with many leagues with test matches are going to be good earner for many countries and boards. With 100 League and 10 Leagues are also creating some good interest for fans around the globe, ODI's just a waste of time and energy.

ICC need to overhaul all set up and talk with all boards for better end of this format and introduction of some more and fruitful things for better earning can bring more technology and big market as right now we have nothing good in North and South America and in many Eastern European countries these formats can give better exposure to fans.
