Having a new mode in F1 will also be a big refreshment for fans, organizations, and also the drivers in my opinion. Yes, there will be haters for a new mode but I think that it's worth a try. As we are not replacing the current mode, if things go south, the new mode could be shut down. But I really want that the better drivers to get rewarded for their driving skills rather than relying on their organization to make a better car.
Like I said earlier, we have that and it is called indycar. People do not watch indycar as much as they watch f1 right now. Which shows you that either f1 is better at marketing, or indycar is not what people really want. There is really no true "competition" in those ones, I mean there is, obviously good racers still win more than bad ones, but it is not hamilton vs max type of deal, there are so many winners and so many different results and nobody dominates at all. You may think that it is a good thing that nobody dominates, and I would agree that after a certain threshold it is not good, but zero domination also makes it super boring. ANYONE can win any race, and that is not really fun, you want to know where you stand and what are your chances. I am of course just guessing, the only data we have in our hands is that f1 is known a lot more than indycar.

Change back in F1. From next year they will go back on old free practice.
They increase again the duration from 60 to 90 minutes while in 2021 it has been decreased from 90 to 60.
Don't think is a good move I liked more the 60-minute version, however this year with new cars they probably need these 30 minutes for session back.

To be honest, those changes are not that important to me because i never really watched the free practices that closely because especially in the FP1 there is not much happening and the times that the drivers and teams achieve there don't mean much. So this may be an important change for the teams in order to make sure that their new car is tested as much as possible for each track, but for the spectators on TV and the bettors it's not really that important. I do like though that in 2022 there are also 6 sprint qualifying planned which are supposed to happen in the first half of the racing season. I think those are a nice little alternation of the usual racing weekend.

We also have to remember that even though cars have a bit of change every single year, they do not have it as much as this years. I mean from 2019 to 2020 I am sure some stuff changed in each car, but this year we are seeing a whole new design. So, it is better to give drivers a 90 minute run, and more tires to choose from as well, that way they can learn more about their own cars. It doesn't make sense to let them just be whatever they want, it is quite important to actually be decent so that when we watch them we would know that they are doing the best they could possibly do. That extra 30 minutes on each track would mean extra 1.5 hours of driving in a weekend, put that up with 20 races and you got yourself over a whole day of driving given as an extra. Not a bad move, definitely will have the drivers to learn the tracks and the cars much better.

I also think this is too long for the viewers on TV, for the spectators at the GrandPrix it is probably better, hard to estimate. It could easily be that the minutes have been increased again to 90 minutes because of the new cars and tyres, but hopefully they will also increase the number of tyres the teams are allowed to use, otherwise it makes no sense to increase the time except for less driving on the track. Then it will be boring for the spectators again.

All teams and manufacturers are now no longer sleeping in terms of developing their bikes to compete in the 2022 season, so before the pre-season test takes place, each manufacturer must have prepared a super powerful engine for all its riders later so every development must be really serious. Last season the Repsol Honda team riders admitted that they had difficulty with the rear grip so they could not perform optimally when participating in the race, but now the 2022 RC213V seems to be able to overcome this problem and has shown some positive signs and on the other hand the riders also hope that Honda can improve performance on a straight track so as not to lose when doing a duel with Ducati.
Yes, that is indeed something that the Honda manufacturer must prepare at this time because considering that Honda is also a very large Asian manufacturer, even though last year only tasted three victories through Marques. So that Honda is determined to fix all its weaknesses this season.

So that Honda is determined to fix all its weaknesses this season. It is clear that all manufacturers want to improve, but if you only have your own bike as a benchmark, it is sometimes difficult, meaningful are the first tests against the other manufacturers, and there is not always the full performance shown. Honda always had Marc as the number one rider (you also saw it in the season with Lorenzo, he couldn't handle the bike) and developed the bike almost exclusively for him, which went well as long as Marc was 100% fit. The bike was unrideable at the limit for most of the other riders, even with Marc's return (because he was not 100% fit) he could not go to the usual limit with the bike. We will see whether Honda has succeeded in doing so during the first tests.

What the Honda riders (except Marc Marquez) say about the new RC213V ahead of the first test rides. One focus was on the rear wheel grip, but it will be meaningful at the test rides in Sepang in 3 weeks. ~snip~
Actually the problem of the tire grip besides the quality of the rider, the quality of the tires and the engine all have an influence for a good grip. Since MotoGP has decided on one type of tire supplier, namely Michelin, it's a bit boring. The racing team only determines the tire compound and cannot choose other tires. Maybe Dorna is on purpose for justice, but this makes the race a bit less exciting than it used to be with two competitors Michelin and Bridgestone.

Days after returning to motorcycle riding on the motocross track, Marc Marquez’s recovery took another step forward with a full day of riding the Honda RC213V-S in Portugal. For the first time since winning the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on October 24, 2021, Marc Marquez was back on a closed race circuit as he continued to assess the development and improvement of his diplopia. Completing a total of 65 laps over the course of the day, Marquez and his team were able to further evaluate his current condition in the lead up to the 2022 MotoGP World Championship. The eight-time World Champion was first and foremost overjoyed to experience the thrill of riding again after his forced break. Marquez reported no major concerns with his diplopia during the day and was left pleased and optimistic with the day’s work. Attention now turns to the first pre-season test at the Sepang International Circuit in early February, Marquez working to be fit and ready to return to his Repsol Honda Team RC213V. Source: https://motogp.hondaracingcorporation.com/I am really really happy that he is back on the track . I really missed him in the races and it feels good to see him riding again. As you said he did 65 laps so I would think that he is almost 95% ready to race again, am I right? Does he still have any discomfort in riding, can you confirm, please? I am so eager to watch him in the next race.

I am so eager to watch him in the next race. Marc Marquez“I am feeling very happy, first to be back on a bike at the track and also because we were able to confirm the sensations I had on a motocross bike here with the road bike. It’s a great feeling, a feeling of relief because when I was riding, I didn’t have any discomfort with my vision. Since I haven’t ridden in so long, I did notice some physical areas where I’m missing a little bit but this is just because I have not been able to have my usual pre-season. There’s a margin to improve but the positive and the fundamental take away from this test was to reconfirm the feeling we had when we first got on the motocross bike and to enjoy the good feeling of speed. I have completed an intense day of riding with long runs, I am very happy with the results. We have two weeks until testing begins in Sepang so I will take the opportunity to intensify my physical preparation and train on the bike.” Source: https://motogp.hondaracingcorporation.com/

Most teams will show their new car during February, that much is known. However we need to actually see them running, they need to be tested to see actually what happens. I mean don't get me wrong the style of the car matters a lot, an ugly car usually doesn't really impact that much but marketing is very important in this sport and without those cars getting attention, we are not going to get too much money. Remember those pink bwt cars? Most people hated them for a while, then it grew on us right? So marketing is important but not really "that" important. We know how black and silver Mercedes will be, and how red bull colors for red bull, those are all known. The only important thing is, these cars have a brand new design and that could change a lot of things or maybe not change anything at all, we need to see that and figure out who will be what.

After Gresini Racing became the first team lounch off a new bike and livery for MotoGP 2022, I read the news that Ducati Lenovo will release a new bike virtually on January 28. Gresini Racing, which previously worked with Aprilia, has turned to Ducati this year. As the constructors' champion of course I wait to see how the specifications of the livery details their new bike. But before Ducati Lenovo there will be a Yamaha RNF that will show its new bike for this season. Then on four February Yamaha Monster and Suzuki will be in Malaysia to showcase their bikes and for the eight February it was Repsol Honda. . It seems very interesting to wait for the look of each team's livery. Source: https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/995456/1/ducati-latest-motogp-team-announce-2022-launch-date

I believe this Ferrari car has to live up to all the hype made by them, because for a very long time they have been teasing us about this car so I’m really excited to see what it’ll be like. Furthermore I don’t expect it to be ugly, but I expect it to be speedy and for Ferrari drivers to use it to challenge for the top spot in each race once the season begins.

Speak for yourself... Racing Point’s ‘Pink Mercedes’ never grew on me. And really it’s all just a show to pump us up before the season starts. I really don’t mind all the marketing stuff being done, with the unveiling and stuff. If anything, if you’re a fan of teams not Merc or RBR, you should enjoy it. Once the season starts, all eyes are mostly on those two, especially after what happened last season. Another thing to watch is how Russell performs with Mercedes, which again takes the spotlight away from lower tier teams to mostly their team.

What mode? Lol. It’s actually going to be dumb imho. Imagine having no competition in car development and with only one car company monopolizing the construction of the cars every year. In that world, Verstappen, Hamilton, Alonso, Sainz, Norris and the rest of the field would all be driving a Ferrari. Anyway... Sainz looks ready to take seat no. 1 at Ferrari. Bad news for Leclerc. https://www.crash.net/f1/news/995374/1/sainz-100-ready-fight-2022-f1-title-ferrari^ Exactly the reason why I'm opting for keeping both the current format and the new one. We don't see car changes in every race, do we? It would be enjoyable to watch the drivers winning just by their raw driving skills. I don't know about you, but I would enjoy that a lot. I think that this new format might bring a wind of refreshment for the viewers. I'm saying that it's worth a shot.
^ Thank you for your kind information. I didn't know about that. If I'm not wrong, maybe that's organized by a different organization from F1? If F1 organizes the same even but with drivers with the caliber of Max, Hamilton, and so on, I think more viewers will be attracted to that as they have a huge fanbase.

Bottas looks so happy at Alfa Romeo. He has been sharing so many great things about them online, and that is really a great feeling because I was so upset whenever he was treated like he was a second fiddler.
I mean yes when you have Hamilton, you always assume that he is going to be the first driver and whoever else races with him as teammates will be second, but we all remember Nico situation and Bottas was never given that chance. Dude literally got asked to stop his fastest lap attempt at one point this year, that is horrible.

According to Domenicali who is now the boss of F1 under Liberty Media and who knows all the projects he said "2 cars are not following the other cars project and we can have a BrawnGp case next year". It means 2 cars or better 4 will be different from the pack and it will probably be a huge advantage or a disadvantage, we don't know yet who they are.

Source: https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/995456/1/ducati-latest-motogp-team-announce-2022-launch-dateYes, I have also read about this in several other sources where the schedule has been released very well for the launch of the liveri team this season as I have read on an Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/gpindonesia.id/ which is written about the schedule.
The following is the anointing schedule for the 2022 MotoGP Teams that have (☑️) and those who haven't: JANUARY 15, 2022 ️ @gresiniracing (☑️) JANUARY 24, 2022 @rnfracingofficial 28 JANUARY 2022 @ducaticorse FEBRUARY 2, 2022 @pramacracing FEBRUARY 4, 2022 @yamahamotogp @suzukimotogp FEBRUARY 8, 2022 @hrc_motogp Source: https://www.instagram.com/gpindonesia.id/
