1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 21, 2022, 10:39:47 PM
Big teams are coming tomorrow

Tuesday 22nd November
Argentina 10:00 Saudi Arabia
Denmark 13:00 Tunisia
Mexico 16:00 Poland
France 19:00 Australia

Source: https://www.skysports.com/world-cup-fixtures

It should be easy games for Argentina Denmark and France.

Mexico Polonia could be a close match.

Yes only big teams but with weak opponents i must say, Like Argentina for example it’s pretty obvious they will easily win the match with maximum goals against Saudi Arabia that has so low chances to even get a point in this world cup edition, Denmark maybe they will have some difficulties to win against Tunisia if they played well. France also has more chances and potentials to win against Australia
As you said the only close match we going to see tomorrow is Mexico against Poland where I’m putting my money on Mexico to win the match

I decided to skip Mexico vs Poland. Mexico is a favorite, but I think that Poland is not much weaker. This is an important game for both, I expect to see some slow and careful play... I was thinking to bet on a draw, but this game is definitely tricky.
But I have a bet on Argentina, Denmark, and France to win. I must say nice odds for Denmark, didn't expect to be over x1.5. Even on Argentina and France seems very nice, x1.18 & x1.28. Combo is x2.37, pretty decent.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 21, 2022, 09:00:57 PM
Things are getting worse, the crypto industry has been rocked by various scam and fraud cases that have made investor confidence drop sharply, so it's better to wait a while and see until the situation improves because you have to think again if you want to start entering. with prices dropping like this makes high emotional to buy at a discount.  set goals with mature strategies to minimize risk

Things are getting worse for whom? There have always been and will be various scams, but those who have held on to Bitcoin (and some other top coins) have not made a mistake! This is not the first bad period, and what is interesting is that even in these bad days/months crypto is still working at full steam (as in previous bearish periods), so much is happening everywhere around... and sooner or later it will be reflected in the prices. So I agree with OP, the crypto market will come back bigger again, it's just a question of time.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: November 21, 2022, 07:15:54 PM
Though, in reality, all investment have corresponding risk and potential benefits, it so happen that with casino token you are more on how the business will be developed and attract more gamblers to play around and continue to generate profits.

If you consider the fact William Hill, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power are businesses that have been live for so many years, and people "invest" in them via shares in the stock market - then these tokens offer a much better alternative without the hassles of getting involved with the stock market.

Every player I think knows little about investment, that's what I think because if he has all his experience in games, I think he has little time left to learn about investment and its things, all investment requires a low or high degree of risk and that It is what every player must take into consideration, I do not see a better way to say that each person is responsible for their actions and especially their way of putting the dionero.

Investors who invest in tokens know what the risks are, something like that cannot be explained to investors because they have a good experience, and I remember from 2018 that some investments in tokens sometimes did not go very well.

Well, you don't need to know anything about investing when it comes to dividend-based casinos. You just play your favorite games and you are getting casino tokens, simply by holding them you will get some daily payouts. As Get-Paid wrote, these tokens are a better alternative, there's no hassle with KYC and crazy procedures, and everything is simple and easy.

But I know that many members of the forum don't see these tokens as something that can be obtained by gambling and enjoying gambling, but as an investment, like any other investment.
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Up to 60% Rakeback Wagerfree on: November 20, 2022, 06:59:46 PM
The choice of the user doesn’t depend on the amount of your winnings and is completely random. So far all participants have gotten their prizes and Daily Metaspins since the weekly promo has started. The more people participating does decrease your chance of winning, but participating now gives you a pretty good chance at winning. We’d love to see you taking part  Wink

Wait, If it is a weekly promotion the why did not you update the thread in the games and rounds board?
It makes me a bit confuse, is it a promotion running in bitcointalk forum only or in the website?
In the old thread you ask participant to comment/post a win in the thread, so I assume that it was a special bitcointalk forum promotion.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420544.0

Is this still an on going promotion since you have not locked the thread but you did not update it (at least the deadline)?

Well, I think it's over:

Until 13/11 you can win bigger crypto rewards with just a comment

It was 9 days ago, and I missed it again. That thread should be locked, or they could edit the thread and extend the duration of this giveaway, and that would be a logical thing to do. They didn't spend any money, so they can easily give players more time to see this.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambling addict? on: November 20, 2022, 01:16:39 PM
So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling? Here's an interesting article about this subject.
I have that symptoms of sleep deprivation but it's not due to gambling but because of the activities that I've been doing everyday of the week. Also there are a lot of changes on the color of my skin but this is all about stress in other things not in gambling.

About my weight, I've lost a lot of my weight and it's because of the lack of sleep that I'm having. Well, I'm not a gambling addict but some of the symptoms that have been said on this article could really be a result of the things we do.

Too much stress is never good, and basically, the source of stress can be anything or it can be a combination of different sources. And that can lead to other problems, as always, bad things never come alone.

I gamble almost every day, at least a few spins/throws, or some sports bet if there's something interesting. I don't wish to quit gambling, except for some losses here and there (what I can afford to lose) that can be annoying I don't have any problems with/from my gambling habit! So I am more like some degen, I simply enjoy gambling...
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON more centralized than Eth? on: November 20, 2022, 06:23:31 AM
Once using the POS, both are centralized so it doesn't matter which is more centralized, but in terms of investment, I think Tron is already a dead project. It's been a while since I've seen any notable news or updates from it, I think if it hadn't been widely used in the use of USDT with its cheap transaction fees, people might have forgotten about it a long time ago. Investing in Tron is no different than you are investing in stable coins, you can use it to transfer money because of cheap transaction fees but never invest in them.

I think Tron is far from dead, Tron is fast and flexible, with low transaction fees... it's easy, simple, and cheap to use! I agree that investing in Tron can look like investing in stablecoins, the price of TRX is pretty stable at some low levels, and it seems it can't move from there for years. That can change in the future, I like and use Tron and I think there's some potential, for sure we can't expect some miracles (the all-time high was $0.23 5 years ago), but I like to believe that one day Tron will touch the $1 price.

1728  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to share my experience with BC.games on: November 19, 2022, 06:31:09 PM
...

As I know BC has provably fair games and you can test them on third-party sites, so with different verifiers, there's not so much space for rigging. When it comes to their in-house games...

But, to be honest, I am missing a point in this post! Did you make a deposit? And why on these images there's just "EOS zero balance"? Where is your betting history, where are your transactions?

I am playing on BC for so long and I never had a similar situation. Somehow I think that OP is not fully honest, he presented some images but I don't think just the ones we can see... where are the others? This is not a complete story...

I submitted my predictions and somehow ended with Brazil vs France in the final game. I chose France as the winner! Smiley

Surely it's not easy to guess all group and knockout winners correctly, I wonder how many people will have 100% success...
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 19, 2022, 09:18:59 AM
Truth or not, this world championship starts to look like a circus. There are many controversies, starting with the climate in Qatar and the first winter world championship, migrant workers (slaves and deaths are also mentioned) employed in the construction of infrastructure, alcohol, and the LGBT population, which are totally prohibited. The desire of some groups to boycott this championship is louder every day. And now this bribing of players to lose games, somehow I'm not surprised.

1731  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is now the difference with Ponzi platforms with cryptocurrency exchanges on: November 18, 2022, 08:15:29 PM
What happened on FTX exchange isn't a Ponzi scheme, it is a mismanagement of funds and a possible fraud from the management.  It is obvious that the anti-crypto media will take this opportunity to throw stones at the cryptocurrency industry.  So we just need time for the event to cool down.

As we know Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.[1] but FTX does not offer a quick return on their investment that is paid by the later investors. FTX is an exchange and somehow uses their client money for other purposes.

[1] https://www.google.com/search?q=ponzi+scheme+meaning&rlz=

I never traded on FTX and I don't have any coins/tokens from their internal projects. I guess that makes FTX a Ponzi, they have/had their own investment funds/projects, and when people started withdrawing the tower collapsed. Of course, the management is responsible for this... we can only guess, but I think they wanted too much and their greediness eat them.

It's been a long time since we had a similar situation, but these things happen and can happen to any centralized service. Decentralized exchanges and services are much better, but people still need to learn about them.
1732  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: November 18, 2022, 06:39:19 PM
Apart from Betplay which has some freeroll if we gamble $30 before the tournament, I'll try this on Sunday, if I don't forget about it. Last Sunday I forgot about it and I missed a game.

Could you write more about that? Is it like $30 every week before Sunday's tournament? Or you just need to spend $30 once and it gives you access to freerolls?
What is the table size, 6?

I think they changed this in the past few days, now it's "you need to have at least one deposit within a week" as you can see. Except for these details about the tournament, I can't see any others, so I am not sure about the table size. But definitely, it's a fast game with 5 min. blinds and 20/40 starting chips... just all-ins through the game and nothing else, it's not the poker I like to play.
1733  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker tournaments why tournaments in other games on: November 18, 2022, 08:05:14 AM
...
around 2016 then fortunejack held a freeroll event and I've played there getting 1st or 3rd place in every tournament and getting free BTC there, if you search for this information on google you will find their old tweet here https://twitter.com/FortuneJackCOM/status/694582978865958912

but for now there is none I see there is a site like fortunejack holding a poker tournament freeroll event that even without a deposit I can withdraw bitcoins from the winnings

Unfortunately fortunejack casino site also doesn't host that event anymore even though it's a promotion that attracts a lot of gamblers too

I remember those tournaments! I was an active poker player before kids, I had a lot of time for playing and I could play poker for hours. Somehow it seems to me that in those years there was much more action in the crypto poker world, first of all, there were players and sites were trying to attract players with various promotions. In the last couple of weeks, I have registered in several new casinos that also have poker, but without poker players.. and that on the weekend when there should be a crowd. Apart from Betplay which has some freeroll if we gamble $30 before the tournament, I'll try this on Sunday, if I don't forget about it. Last Sunday I forgot about it and I missed a game.
1734  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto raffle game idea | feedback required on: November 18, 2022, 06:42:24 AM
...
First of all, a very tedios way to hold a crypto raffle. Going to be hard to do so if you are going to do daily raffel draws. Secondly why would anyone want to play your crypto raffle game if there are already lot of casinos that offers raffle were you can buy tickets for even cheaper price. CryptoGames offer lotto were players receive 100% of their winnings. So 60% is far less what people will  be receiving vs what they will be risking.

That's what I thought at first too, now almost every casino has some kind of raffle, and if not regular/daily there are some promotional ones from time to time. And what can OP offer more interesting? It's certainly not the house edge he suggests, it is abnormally high. He probably didn't even think a little deeper about this idea, it's not that easy to make a good online casino that will attract players, especially since it's not possible to do it without initial capital.
As some others have mentioned, this is not the first time we see a similar idea. I don't remember that one of them lasted a little longer.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 17, 2022, 04:58:00 PM
I guess the longer we play we will experience more and more ups and downs... I am playing in several casinos at the moment, and in each of them I had some crazy nice wins, but I also have sessions where I bust a few deposits in a row. So I don't think that I have some special lucky casino where I win more than I lose, it's simple gambling... and the gambling session depends on the moment, the choice of the game, the bankroll, and the style of playing.

Quote
Amazon busted -95% at Dotcom bubble 2000
Amazon went up 60000% following 20 years.

This one right here is a great example that nothing is impossible and it can explode no matter how long will it take. It's all about thinking long term and holding on to it. However, that is not always the case though because in the world of cryptocurrency, you cannot really predict very well. Anything could happen whether if it goes crashing without warning.

No guarantees either if the market is about to pump. Same thing goes if we're talking about the "bottom".

People were saying that nobody will use the internet for buying things, but 20 years later people are buying stuff online more and more. Internet, cars, and some other things had the same beginning, people couldn't accept there's something revolutionary is happening, and no matter how strongly you are holding to "old is better and more trusted" sooner or later you will be run over. I think that the same thing is happening with crypto, it will take time for adoption on some higher scales, but that is coming. Like you I am not sure that we can predict the bottom, the prices can drop more... and who knows when the market will get some boost, probably after the next halving. I am trying to not even think about that stuff anymore, simply holding and waiting will pay off eventually.
1737  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to get rich go UK USA on: November 16, 2022, 09:06:30 PM
The size for rich always makes the UK and USA, it can be the right fact because most of the world millionaires always come from the USA and UK, developed countries certainly provide good opportunities to become rich, but we must be aware that competition in the USA and UK is very tight and only People who have high skills that can be successful in competition.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_millionaires

I guess this is why USA or UK. Both are at the top of the list, and the USA is leading this race by far! In a huge market, you always have more possibilities. But there are no guarantees anywhere, in theory, you can make money anywhere in the world if you have a "product" that is wanted. And for sure there are many legal and illegal ways of making money anywhere in the world, we all know that.

Well, we are close to 8 billion people... I guess competition is very tight wherever you look!

1738  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Advanced Dice Game 🎲 Sportsbook 🏟️ Slots 🎰 on: November 16, 2022, 08:02:29 PM
Wolf.Bet just dropped a big update to their Sportsbook with a new look and new futures!

you can check it here: https://wolf.bet/sportsbook/

This is a big update, but Wolf is not so "promotion" oriented, as I remember they didn't have anything special when they added spots book months ago. I wouldn't even know about this update if it wasn't shared in the Gosu group earlier today.

Well, the new sports book definitely looks great, but I am not as active on Wolf as I use to be. I must admit that some other casinos "stole" my attention in the past months.
1739  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 16, 2022, 07:00:59 PM
Hey guys! Check out the MegaPari Black Friday offering! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5421125.new#new
this is a good promotion and it looks like you are really starting early in the blackfriday campaign, at least a step ahead of other gambling sites, but that doesn't mean other gambling sites don't have the same promotions, but apart from that I'll take a look at the promotion and how it works

This offer has an x20 wager requirement, which is very nice, it's usually x30 and over. For us who like bonus deposits, this low wager requirement looks tempting, I am not registered on MegaPari so I will think about registering and trying this promo.
Chipstars has 250 free spins for deposits over $125, with no wager requirements. I tried that this weekend, and I had fun with free spins, I even got a nice amount of coins from these free spins... I had the luck to hit a bonus round a few times. I just wish to point out that there are good promotions all the time, we just need to see them. That can be hard with so many casinos around, and there are more and more every month, it's impossible to keep track of all the good bonuses and promotions around.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 9600$ in dice by mistake with 2% chance on: November 15, 2022, 07:24:40 PM
...

That is called LUCK! Itt seems that you had it as you ended up earning it simply by mistake which is kinda amazing. Conglatulations on that as if you wanted to earn and were doing everything you can you would probably not have won.

Yes, this is luck! I was lucky a few times, but I also had some bad moments when it comes to "accidental mistakes". In my case, it was usually with the auto betting feature, I forget to add some option and after a minute or two, I see my balance disappear completely or I made some crazy profit!

We all make mistakes, that's a fact. And sometimes those "mistakes" can be good or bad... I guess more bad than good, at least in y case. But the point should be in avoiding mistakes, not making them, and hoping for luck to strike you.
