1721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: September 18, 2017, 11:20:23 AM
for me poloniex is a cheaper buy and sell comparison to bittrex even if the bitcoin withdrawal fee is also cheaper compare to bittrex. There are many good altcoin in poloniex in bittrex with that shitcoin but most of it is shitcoin. with new altcoin in poloniex omisego. for now my trading strategy is buy low sell high only.

yeah, that trading fee of bittrex (0.25%) is really felt when you are trading a lot. it can accumulate to a considerable amount of money after a while.
but sadly poloniex has a lot of issues that makes me still stick to bittrex. of course there are also other exchanges. you shouldn't restrict yourself to just the two. bittrex can eventually fall to the same faith. polo was not bad in the start either.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much altcoin like Ethereum or Dogecoin can I have before I can start trading on: September 18, 2017, 11:13:18 AM
Please am a newbie I would like to know the amount altcoin like the Ethereum and Dogecoin I can have before I can join the trading platform.
Before you can join a trading platform, have at least 0.001 BTC worth of altcoins before trading at least for it to be profitable but the profit you will get is low. It depends if you trade those low price coins that are very volatile and ride them right you will get good returns. You can also have 0.0005 BTC but I don't recommend doing trades with this low amount of capital.

there is actually no limit on how much you bring in for your investment. everything is calculated percentage-wise. of course the minimum is important but there are exchanges that have very low minimum. for example Cryptopia has 10 Doge or 500 satoshi limit for their trades. and even if you start with 1000 satoshi you still make profit on that amount. like 100% on 1000 is 2000 satoshi in total.
and it doesn't matter if it is small. what matters is that you choose a number that you are comfortable with.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 0x on: September 18, 2017, 11:05:42 AM
Should i invest in this currency buy selling nem. NEM has supply of 9 Billion but 0x has only 500 million. Any suggestions?

Supply doesn't mean anything. Market cap does. Based on that, I can see 0x going up by a lot.

exactly the opposite is true!
besides what do you think makes the market cap? it is supply * price and in case of these coins with fake huge supply their market cap is also fake and huge. so it can in fact be very misleading to look at market cap and make decisions based on it!!!

if i want to choose between NEM and 0x i would choose 0x because NEM was recently pumped whereas 0x is still not properly pumped.
1724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China just like banning things, Google, Facebook, Twitter, then Bitcoin. on: September 18, 2017, 10:57:53 AM
i wonder what it takes for you people to stop repeating the FUD!
China never banned bitcoin, period.

now 1 hour later another topic will be started talking about China banning bitcoin and how bad or good that is...
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to become rich with crypto currencys - let me show it you on: September 17, 2017, 12:01:11 PM
1. For example Stellar coin, it cost now 2 cent, if you buy for 2000 Dollar a amount of 100.000 Stellar coins and the price of this coin goes to 1 Dollar, then you have already 100.000 Dollar and if the price goes to 10 Dollar you have 1 Million with only 2000 Dollar investment capital.
i am not sure if this was just an advertising technique to pique the interest of the reader or if it is genuinely your whole strategy! if it is then you are treading on thin ice with a big IF. that IF can go either way. the 2 cent coin that you buy can easily go down to 1 cent and your $2000 turns into $1000 in a blinking of an eye.

If you want contact me and try out the bot one week for free. I think the strategy is not difficult to understand, it is a buy and hold strategy and only direction is long, no short trades.
not a strategy that i would use, ever! so no i don't want to try it but i have a proposal for you which may change my mind or possibly others.
if you say your strategy works then start posting here with coins your bots suggests!
do it for a couple of weeks and post a new coin every day.
by the end of the month or 2 months you have built a nice history and if your strategy is as good as you "claim" it to be, it will be clear with a high accuracy like 90%. and if not, it will also be clear with a couple of lucky shots and an accuracy of below 40% then you are just wasting everybody's time.

the format should be like this:
Code:
coin name: ...
buy price: ...
sell at what price: ...
how long may it take: ...
[no editing or deleting posts]

imaginary example:
(post date: 29-30 Aug)
coin: LTC
buy price: 0.013-0.014BTC
sell at what price: 0.017-0.019BTC (46% profit)
when to sell (approximately): 3-5 days
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash, Monero, Zcash Which Coins More Secure? on: September 17, 2017, 11:51:12 AM
Dash, Monero, Zcash Which Coins More Secure?

Dash is not secure as others said, but zcash with its zsnarks seems to be a good choice for for you, and monero still become the best choice for the crypto privacy with already provided anonymously to the users of that coin. I will vote for monero
Hmmm....
Zcash Has Low Fee
While Monero Has Big Fee
So
Zcash For Small Transaction
Monero For Big Transaction

i think you need to first clarify what is it exactly that you want!
you ask for "security" and then talk about transaction fees! well sometimes fees are the last thing you should care for when you are looking for "security" (whatever that means in your head.)

all of these have flaws. some small and ignorable and some are big enough to want to ignore the coin itself. i personally prefer Monero among these.
1727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] You are all NOOBS ! on: September 17, 2017, 11:41:39 AM
... are supporting them out of greed.
Which in turn is killing crypto and ruining any future it might have had.

sometimes i think this altcoin market needs to die and burn to the ground so that something fresh and good can rise up from its ashes.

of course i hope it doesn't get to that point and i still have some small hope for some altcoins that nobody even pays attention to. but i can't help thinking the way everyone is only caring for more money and how everything that comes out is either a scam or a pump and dump kills even that glimmer of hope!
1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why many ico launch with ETH ? on: September 17, 2017, 11:33:05 AM
Many ICO launch payment gateway choice ETH.
countless!

Quote
any other crypto coins why not use in ico payment gateway.
if you mean as payment, then i don't know. maybe they want ETH tokens more than others. but there have been cases where they asked for bitcoin too.

if you mean as the platform to develop their crap and call it ICO then it is just because there are so many other ICOs that they can just copy. it is at a point where creating one is very easy. you don't need to do much work and also if you say "we are using ETH platform" it looks better compared to saying you use something else. because nobody cares about the project itself. everyone looks at the cover and judge the book by it Wink
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deadline given to Beijing-based Bitcoin exchanges on: September 17, 2017, 11:22:26 AM
How much is this going to affect the price of bitcoin?

since this is at least a couple of days old, i say nothing.

we knew exchanges will be closed 1.5 weeks ago. the exchanges also started releasing the news that they will stop operating at least 3-4 days ago. and price took its course (nose dive).
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan’s new bitcoin exchange registration - Accepted on: September 16, 2017, 09:01:28 AM
after the MtGox stuff, Japan has been really out of the game but they made up for all the lost time this year alone. things are looking up over there. the government is open to bitcoin and that is helping the adoption greatly. this is just one service out of many different ones in Japan. and yet so many people refuse to believe the revolution that is taking place inside Japan these days, starting this year.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Dogecoin? on: September 16, 2017, 08:38:23 AM
Being old and not able to rise up where as ETH and Litecoin rose alot compared to it. Want to know your opinion

Thank you
Harry

ETH has a huge pumping team behind it who have deep pockets and the support of many banksters. there is also the ICos that are pumping it up for free.

LTC also has always moved with bitcoin since it is THE copy of bitcoin and since it also has SegWit on it already.

as far as Doge goes, it offers nothing and it has a huge supply and an ever lasting new coins that are being created without any cap. it has been said a thousand times but it is really a supply and demand issue. and the fact that Doge has nearly 0 usages.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to expect from Bitcoin Cash? on: September 16, 2017, 08:29:31 AM
Hey, did anyone notice BCH volumes on Korean Bithumb (its about $300 mil as of time of this writing and rising)?
these new Korean exchanges are like the old Chinese exchanges: with 0 fee and lots of fake volume. and all their volume for all coins are ridiculously high like this not just BCH!

Quote
Its gonna move Ripple soon and make it into top 3 on coinmarketcap if this continues.
it needs price to overcome Ripple not volume. and it has been falling so far as bitcoin started to rise back up again!

Quote
What are these guys are up to? Should we expect BCH rise due to Korean volumes?
not really.
there will surely be another pump of BCH. nothing can stop that but it will not come this fast and it certainly won't be because of fake volumes of Koreans
1733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the china based cryptos ? on: September 16, 2017, 08:20:23 AM
in my opinion if you can call something "China based coin" or generally if you can limit it to a country then it is already dead as a cryptocurrency project.
one of the main things about cryptocurrencies and all the projects involving the technology, is the decentralization. if you take that away you are taking away one of the main reasons they even exist!
1734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guess What? JPMorgan on: September 16, 2017, 08:12:11 AM
the bankster did what a bankster must do. they lied, they invested in something that could make them a lot of money and they took advantage of their position to open up a golden opportunity for themselves to buy in.
you can't blame then for doing his job.

what you can blame are people who listened to that bankster's bullshit and closed their eyes and ears to the reality of the matter.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: On average How much profit you gain from trading? on: September 16, 2017, 08:07:25 AM
How much profit do you get from bitcoin and other Cryptos weekly?
enough to make me want to continue doing it.

Quote
Also how much did you invest to get that much profit?
[/quote]
as much as i could afford to lose.

Quote
And lastly what methods do you use when trading.
i look for altcoins with potential of a big pump or some news coming on to them that can lead to a pump then i invest and wait for the pump to slow down and then i dump to get my bitcoins out to hold.

Quote
Do you buy then wait for the price to rise then sell your btc or do you buy low from one exchange and instantly sell high on another exchange?
Sorry is the questions are too much.
no i don't do arbitrage trading.
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best buy during this dip on: September 15, 2017, 11:13:47 AM
because of the dump i say mostly the top altcoins which are big and also have lost a great deal of their price. such as LTC, ETH, ETC, possibly even XRP.
not sure about XMR at the moment but it also can be a good candidate.

but don't forget about other altcoins! there are others that are unaffected by all this and they have actually been rising. although rare and hard to find but they are out there day by day Wink
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Minister: It's 'Impossible' to Ignore Cryptocurrencies on: September 15, 2017, 11:05:15 AM
from my perspective Russia has been one of the weirdest countries when cryptocurrencies specially bitcoin is involved!
they used to say things against bitcoin and even talk about making it illegal (they never actually did it though) all the while holding up huge seminars on blockchain technology and bitcoin's future in their capital, Moscow!

then finally this year, right after Japan announced bitcoin legal, their government officials started showing a completely different approach. their central bank even said "since bitcoin is traceable it will soon become legal"!

long story short i believe Russians have always been greatly involved with cryptocurrencies in reality but also always had a lot of difference of opinions among themselves.
1738  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the future of BTC for the next two years on: September 15, 2017, 10:55:06 AM
only bitcoin price is under pressure of heavy manipulation and FUD coming mostly from Chinese related news. not bitcoin itself. nothing about bitcoin has changed it is still the same decentralized cryptocurrency that got adopted as a legal method of payment over at Japan and a couple of other countries followed. the scaling debate ended. the supply is still the same. the hashrate is even a little bigger now. the future will also be the same growing trend with not much to change.

this is not the first time there is a big dumping manipulation and this won't be the last either.

by the way this is altcoin board!
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin psychological keyline of $2877 on: September 15, 2017, 10:46:14 AM
technical analysis is mostly useless for bitcoin, it doesn't matter what it tells you the bottom, resistances, supports are. in the end the price will be determined based on how much panic is there in the community!

if it were useful then price shouldn't have dropped like this! the current curve doesn't fit any kind of analysis you may come up with.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin UP: bitcoin is awesome; Down: bitcoin is shit and fraud on: September 15, 2017, 10:42:55 AM
It's almost pathetic how people read first word of a comment and make their assumptions to just say what they like to say Wink

A whole country has not just adopted Bitcoin at once!  The vast majority of Japanese transactions are in physical cash, and most of the digital ones are in digital fiat.
show me where i said every single Japanese (man, woman, and child) are using bitcoin instead of cash!

Quote
You still have to go pretty far out of your way to try and spend Bitcoin.
not at all, next time you went to Japan try vising one of the shopping centers, you will see at least a couple shops with the "bitcoin is accepted here" sign.

Quote
It's ridiculously annoying to see that when people take a side, they just have to invent "facts" to support their view after they've formed it.

I'll be holding and ignoring all of this nonsense from a trading perspective but I'll still be getting annoyed behind my screen.
you went out of your way to make this topic about something else that it is not. thanks!
