1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: November 08, 2022, 03:23:22 PM
So i strongly disagreed with the term of " do not invest in a brand new project " to be risk free. A lot of new project has yielded x50
of my investment to me most of the time, What i usually do, Once they're up, i take off with my investment and interest. This is my experiences.
And i strongly believes by doing this, Will yield high success to everyone and also helps you to minimize the risk of lossing all your funds.

That's your opinion OP, however, not everyone shares the same opinion with yours but you're indeed correct that not all new projects and might as well coins are bad and as the saying goes, "The bigger the risk, the bigger the reward" but not all investors have the same mindset and mostly, people will settle for coins and projects that are already known for quite some time because the risks are somehow minimized whereas if they risk their funds on a project that is still not yet determined its future.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 08, 2022, 10:30:52 AM
Canelo rematch would be preferred by its promoter too. It's the money to get that counts. Bivol is very confident in his skills, he retained his title for a long time. Both orthodox are better to watch against a southpaw, thier front foot is too uncomfortable to watch, Bivol has stepped on Zurdo's foot many times. After Bivol found his range, he suddenly just keep throwing combo very timely pushing Zurdo to a corner.

Canelo rematch won't happen for now. Bivol wants to become undisputed at 175 lbs first.

After Bivol successfully become undisputed at 175 lbs then he can now accept any challenges since that would be a mandatory fight.

Promoters can't just organize a fight based on what the fans like because of certain circumstances.

That is if Bivol had that much leverage to decline the fight if Canelo activates the rematch but anyway, is that already official like Bivol already spoke about it? I know Bivol wants to have his chance first against whoever will win in the fight of Beterbiev and Yarde but that may take time because their fight is already delayed.

I don't think Bivol can decline the fight if Canelo activates it because he signed the contract containing that a rematch will happen if the losing side chooses to, but the situation now is different and if you saw the post-fight press conference, it was said that Canelo can't throw a punch currently because of the injury he sustained for about 2 months. So, we might see a unification first before Canelo-Bivol fight.
1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 08, 2022, 10:06:44 AM
And another win from the Utah Jazz. No Clarkson in the fourth quarter, not a problem because they have Sexton to patch it up.
Markkanen's rebounding power though is what made a big difference in the game. Zubac was the big men on the floor and yet the young guy is dominating them all. Bouncy jumps and very good boxing out method. Like the commentator said, "they are real".

I have known the Clippers to be better at attacking the paint, but in the last minutes of the game I didn't see that. They are forcing three's and it's too obvious, nothing is going in. The run made by John Wall should've been the spark.

Young and newly rebuild Jazz is really making their presence unlikely from how speculation comes around after trading both Mitchel and Gobert
and the rest of their starting cores.

Now they are simply showing that they are still in the competition by keeping on winning games, the chemistries and the teamwork
is a big factor to this newly form team, whoever come inside is really doing their job.

They are not afraid, and they are showing what they can contribute to help the team.

No one even expected that the Jazz will be on the #1 seed in the Western Conference, they are supposed to be tanking this season because of their situation and that they're on the process of rebuilding, while most of the stars like Gobert and Mitchell is now out of the equation. I bet the management didn't expect this to happen as well. But well, they've got what they're aiming for on the first place.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: Always ask bargain for prices never pay full specially now on: November 07, 2022, 09:27:03 PM
Now it's time to ask prices to go Lower.
Times like this i go shop or anywhere i always say' it's economic down turn can i get cheaper price.
I allready called to my landlord to make my rent much cheaper.
It's times of economic bad times so now you can ask cheaper prices of anything always.

I dont ask for cheaper price considering that those landlord or sellers or merchants do also experience the same.Do you really think that they do really like increasing prices? No they're not.
It is really just normal for a business on at least having some profit and they would be normally basing up on the price on which they had able to buy and make out some little bump in price for profits.
If you do look its reasonable or you are fully aware of goods price increase and services then i dont see for it to be that much needed for you to ask cheaper.
Im not saying its bad to ask for that one but it would really be that understandable if you were on their shoes.
There’s no wrong actually if you ask for a lower price, but never ask from small stall owners or entrepreneurs because obviously, they are also feeling the inflation that you are feeling too. It’s okay for those big time business owners but for the small ones, it’s their only means for survival so always be reasonable enough. Ask for cheaper prices sometimes, but never do it all the time.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment implementing at the Bitcoin Island(BORACAY) on: November 07, 2022, 07:40:19 PM
Cool thing to see. I am starting to think more and more things like this will push BTC acceptance faster then some other methods.
People coming in for vacations and seeing that some smallish place can do it then why can't some larger ones.
This would make more people look into BTC as a viable option for their business and so on. Don't know if it will really happen that way but it's a thought.

Side note, is that you in the pictures?

-Dave
This is a great start for bitcoin not only in Boracay but in the different places in the Philippines. People should only learn the basics in bitcoin so they won’t gone wrong on its transactions. Most likely, if this alternative will start to be known in Boracay, then expect that those other high rated tourist spots will follow later on. I guess bitcoin adoption is becoming more inevitable now provided that a lot of people are also aware and even inclined about it.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: November 07, 2022, 07:17:23 PM
Any coin that survives this bear market will do well come the bull season

That’s the main point that many should focus on . But sadly no major altcoin other than ETH seems to be surviving. When the big boss Bitcoin is struggling, how can these even move up in the graph? People are afraid to buy Bitcoins in this bear market, so definitely they might have forgotten the altcoins. Nevertheless we should keep a watch on the top 10 coins at coinmarketcap. These coins have great marketcap and will definitely rise in the next bull run. Let’s hope for positivity in every aspects.
Altcoins are no longer very relevant these days except for the topmost coins in the marketcap as most of them have turned out scams and some just gone easily since they struggle hard from bear market survival. So it’s either you go into bitcoin and ethereum, or just leave the market quietly just because of the fears to take the risk.
1727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your take on Bitcoin adoption trust issues on: November 07, 2022, 06:48:29 PM
What do you think one can do, to educate those young ones, And drive the point that with all honestly, Bitcoin isn't as bad as they think it is?
Have a dialogue with them. There aren't lots of things to do. Essentially what you're asking is: how can I make a conversation with a biased person? Apparently, by doing it. Explain them the FUDs, counter-argue to energy waste, criminal activity, mining pool oligopoly, ponzi scheme narrative etc.

End the FUD.
Tell them legit information about bitcoin, if they will try to oppose it, then I think you can’t do anything about it anymore. Learning is best done when there is willingness, but if they keep on believing that bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, bitcoin is not legit, then leave them on that. It’s not the loss of bitcoin actually nor the bitcoin community, biased persons will always seen regretting in the end.
1728  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: November 06, 2022, 09:56:36 PM
There's better assurance in a salary-based job than in a commission-based job. Commision-based jobs offer a higher salary but there's no guarantee that you could always win clients especially if the account is too complex. In a salary-based job, you only have to perform your best to fulfill all the given tasks and you will be paid accordingly. Those who seek assurance and stability would prefer to receive a salary regularly.
Commission based job clearly makes high offers but you also have to reach your quota as well so you can avail high amount of payout. Maybe in some days, you get lucky and close the deal, but in most days you get unlucky and end up broken. So most likely, there is no guaranteed profits for that that makes it too risky if you are a breadwinner and a family man. The reason why others just settle for salary based job, even if the rate is low, at least they can be paid accordingly.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: November 06, 2022, 09:25:55 PM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?
Long term my answer.

The thing you need to ask is for what you choose Bitcoin as an investment. When your answer is final, then you must be ready to experience various misguided information out there that will make your faith shake.

To convince yourself in choosing long -term investment is to look at Bitcoin historical data.
Definitely, if you invest for a volatile investment, then always choose for long term. Aside from you can maximize your expected profits, you can also avoid panic selling once the value crash because you know your target is long term hodling. You will only get to sell when there is huge profits waiting for you, and not for short term that only give rare chances to become profitable.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 04, 2022, 03:41:57 PM

Well, they seem got a hold of it because they manage to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans earlier today. It was a crazy game but it's undeniable that the Lakers is quite different now and Westbrook already got used to his role as he keeps on laying the table for his teammate to score. Pelicans was shocked as the gaps of their score becomes wider as the first half finished, they managed to chase the Lakers in the 2nd half but Lakers was so determined to put a win today.

While he is getting used to his new role, the Lakers are gaining momentum to make straight wins but the real test will be in their next game vs the Utah Jazz where undeniably one of the best in the west. But the Lakers will gonna do their best and will try everything they can to keep winning every single game from now on. So it's better to assume that they will gonna fight for it and let's just hope no injuries will haunt them sooner since they are now obviously making difference from their last games.

If they can beat Zion, CJ, and the Pelicans I think they have a higher chance of beating a rebuilding team without superstars in their team. The advantage of Jazz is they are unpredictable, and they are young and hungry. I am thinking Lebron, AD, and Westbrook would be able to handle them with the help of the young players of the Lakers. It would be a good match even though Lakers and Jazz are far apart in the standing. Now that Lakers are finding their groove, they can give the Jazz a good game.

I agree! Lakers does have a fair chance to win against the Utah Jazz who are quite establishing their name after the rebuilding, though it's not yet complete but they can already compete against the heavy teams in the league. I bet the Lakers will give everything they've got especially now that they are slowly getting in the rhythm with the bench guys. If Jazz's have young players, the Lakers have it too with the guide of their superstars.

Anyway, the Lakers are listed as a slight favorite over the Utah Jazz on tomorrow's game. This will be a good game!
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 04, 2022, 02:48:09 PM
I am surprised no one is talking about this here yet, I guess it's probably because no one really knows who DK Yoo is(even I don't know who he is).

anyway, Manny Pacquiao is having an exhibition match against DK Yoo in a boxing match on December 10. I am not that interested in who he is fighting but I'd still watch the fight because I want to see Pacquiao in the ring again. besides, Pacquiao said that he'd give us a "real fight"(he said in one of the articles I've read) which I hope he would actually do.

also, I saw in one of the articles that Proceeds from the event will be donated to the homeless in the Philippines and families affected in Ukraine.

They are only having an exhibition match so its nothing all too special, really. I think thats mainly the reason why nobody is paying much attention. Although I find it very awesome that proceeds from the event will be going to a good cause. Hopefully they raise a lot of money!

I do not know DK Yoo's history other than he is more of a youtuber than a fighter, but he seems like a small fish. And just because Pacquiao is 43 and now retired from professional boxing does not mean that Yoo stands a ghost of a chance against the Pacman. I mean cmon, seriously.

Obviously Manny is going to show him what a real fight looks like.

Aside from Pacquiao's return on the ring, the thing that get me interested too is because of the twist that they will be donating the proceeds to their chosen charity. Pacquiao being Pacquiao again, classic! Surely they can raise a ton of money from this fight because DK Yoo is quite famous too in South Korea and Pacquiao is a legendary boxer who is missed from the ring.

If you search DK Yoo on the internet, there's just few article and information about DK Yoo and maybe that is because he is not a fighter himself and truth is that he is really a YouTuber rather than a fighter.

All the proceeds or just part of it?

As a boxer, I think he also needs to earn for himself, and since the total proceeds of the fight can be confidential, then he can just declare any amount he would like to donate. I'm not questioning his intention, I'm just saying that not everything shall be donated.

Well, not all the proceeds because DK Yoo's share is not part of it but for Manny Pacquiao's share, as he said, all his share will be used to fund his chosen charity. Anyway, that is not new anymore because even when he was still fighting professionally, he is already known to give money to the homeless people in his country.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 03, 2022, 05:09:18 PM
Still though, if he wanted to cement his legacy in this division, he has to beat Zurdo Ramirez. And then chase for unification against another Russian in Beterviev. He has not to worry for Canelo. If Alvarez wants to go up at 175 lbs then it's better for him to have tune up and maybe fight the winner of Bivol vs Beterviev in the future.

Maybe we won't see another fight against Canelo because Bivol don't need to prove anything anymore because he won their last fight cleanly. He just need to move forward and fight someone like Beterviev to further stretch his rank in their division and might get a chance to be a unified champion in their weight division.
True, and if I'm not mistaken, several months ago it was reported that Bivol hasn't received his prize money against Canelo because of the ban of Russian boxers that time, so not sure if he has gotten it already at this time.

Nevertheless, as i have said, he might go with Beterviev next if he will win against Ramirez. Not sure how Canelo will be insisted on another rematch but it's really up to Bivol whether to give him the fight or not.

Yes, if ever Bivol wins his upcoming fight, most probably he will be the one that will choose whoever he wanted to fight. Even Canelo insists for the rematch, Bivol has his rights to decline any offer. For now, Bivol needs to focus with Zurdo and make sure that he will take good care of his fight. It's good to know if ever Bivol will push for Beterbiev that's another good title match that fans will surely excited to see.

Can Bivol really do that and decline Canelo if the latter will decide to activate their rematch after this fight? Given that Bivol have already won the fight against this Zurdo Ramirez. I don't know that it's possible because they had a rematch clause written in their contract and Bivol will be vacated for a bit because Beterbiev and Yarde's fight was delayed.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High roller looking for KYC-FREE casino on: November 03, 2022, 04:41:49 PM
House Of Pokies Casino is one of the newest and most exciting online casinos to hit the market https://hsfpkscasino.com. They offer a huge selection of games, great customer service, and a convenient online gaming experience.
Beware what this user is aharing, these sites are likely just to grab you money and looking at the websites he shares, it's likely an obvious copy pasta sites.

I don't think you'd be anonymous at all when most of the legitimate casinos right now are into regulations and if you're a high roller, you'd be dealing with KYC of course so that they know it's not a laundered one.

Seems obvious enough to know that it is one of those phishing or clickbait sites that will be troublesome once you've clicked it, the user is not careful enough to hide his/her true intentions and the name of casino itself isn't tempting the gamblers. hsfpks casino? What kind of name is that.

Also, high rollers are cautious enough to get themselves away from these kind of sites and usually, they are into KYC types or the reputable ones just to make sure that it's quite safe to them to gamble.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 03, 2022, 03:58:09 PM
50 page thread on a fight that might never be 😲.  I hope as much as ypu all this goes down but got to face the facts it just might never come to fruition.  Just might need to let this thread die a peaceful death Smiley.

Probably, but who knows, maybe next year there will be a fresh set of negotiations between the 2 camps and this fight comes to fruition when everyone thought that the fight is dead.

So yeah, might as well keep the thread open, and when there is an update, someone could pick it up and post it here. But for this year, the fight is officially not going to happen.

Of course there are still many who hope they can meet. But now their problem is very complex and chaotic.
Currently a lot of speculation is emerging and growing and this has caused a lot of fans to be disappointed in the two of them.
I think for now it's still deadlocked on this issue and causing this much-loved match won't happen this year.
But I still hope that next year we will see their fight take place.

We don't know what is the reason for this fight not moving forward, we all have our speculations but no one is going to tell the truth and both sides will always defend themselves as the reasons for the derailing of the fight. So it could be very complex or just easy that anyone can adjust.

Anyhow, yes, there are still a good chance that the fight could be settle for next year, so let's hope that this unification will happen in 2023.

Yes and it's somehow useless to even think of this fight and speculating it further because both camps already stopped talking, now they are going separately just like Crawford having a fight next month. Let's just discuss this topic again soon if there will be some rumors surfacing again regarding their unification fight.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 03, 2022, 01:43:05 PM
I know that most of the time a good roster with a bad result is usually the coaches fault. However, that wasn't the case this time around, they have a toxic locker room and it has been like that for a while. I do not think that they could ever do anything with this team.

Ben Simmons who doesn't even wanna play, Kyrie who is a big moron who has been saying stuff that should get him banned from NBA if you ask me, Durant who asked to be traded out, and Nash was supposed to win with this team? I do not think so. I believe that Nets are a horrible organization, they are getting Ime Uduka who has been banned from his own team for what he did just to increase the toxic level in the team. It’s a disgrace and I am happy for Nash that he is leaving this toxic place.

Hehehe, yeah, the toxic level within the organization is the highest in the NBA if I'm not mistaken. And the organization is making one bad decision to another, like getting Nash to resign and then hiring someone who has a bad rep already.

And just imagine if you are a female and that you will have to interact with Oduka? I mean what is the feeling as he had already a precedent with Boston, and for sure it is very awkward as you don't want to be associate with that cheater.

I hope Joe Tsai thought about it well before he decided to fire Steve Nash because that is not what the team needed, the team needed to learn some respect and coordination, but Joe Tsai just showed the opposite thing. Nevertheless, Steve Nash deserved more than this team. Good luck to the next head coach.

Joe Tsai didn't see that situation ahead and maybe he doesn't care at all because he just cared to get the team a win that is why he is getting Udoka, that is all.

Brooklyn is a tire fire currently. I think they did Steve Nash a favor by letting him go. Look at the shit he had to deal with. Kyrie wouldn't get vaccinated, Durant trying to force a trade, Durant trying to get him fired, and now Kyrie with his antisemitism stuff. That team is just insane the last couple years. Nash will get another job if he really wants it.

I definitely agree, they can consider and call themselves lucky because Steve Nash haven't left their side despite all the issues he has to face since last season and surely it wasn't a nice experience for Steve as a head coach because he has to deal with these ladies in his team. I cannot imagine what will happen to the franchise if Ben Simmons got his own issues too because right now, he is left behind from all the dramas as Kyrie and Durant already started theirs. So, good luck for the new head coach. Did Ime Udoka accepted the offer already?
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would a Nation of Sports Gamblers Look Like? on: November 02, 2022, 04:42:54 PM
Back when I was serious about sports gambling. Efforts were made to use math, science, psychology and other avenues of study towards anticipating the outcome of matches.

Sometimes you can tell how hungry and motivated athletes are going into events simply by watching their interviews and paying close attention to their body language and responses. It is also possible to tell when they're unmotivated and distracted.

When Cain Velasquez fought Francis Ngannou. Cain Velasquez was sweating heavily despite not moving or exerting himself much at the open workout. He looked out of shape or injured. I used that indicator to bet heavily on Ngannou and won. Later it emerged Velasquez had a knee injury and wasn't able to run much to prepare his cardio for that bout. There were other occasions where I tried to use the law of large numbers and other aspects of math, science and strategy to be successful in gambling.

A nation of sports gamblers might study the psychology of sports and cold reading athletes to gauge performance at events. As well as strategy and math for better understanding odds and strategizing. A nation of gamblers wouldn't necessarily have to be a decadent or regressive trend. It could actually encourage people to embrace fields of study which might be useful for being profitable in the industry.

This applies to boxing and MMA but for team sports like soccer or basketball, you may just depend on their best players like Curry, Klay Tom, or Lebron. All the time the pickers spread thier word and often they are right when you look at the odds.

It's still applicable in soccer, basketball and baseball or in any sports that requires team effort. However, it will be much tougher to analyze the datas available because we are weighing more things unlike in boxing and MMA where we are just comparing two different fighters to know who's who and which is which. Team sports does have many facts to consider as well because if their stars players cannot play due to injury, their fire power will be reduced and will give the opposite team an advantage.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 02, 2022, 03:17:04 PM
And it's good to hear that Bivol is making his own path and not totally relying on Canelo's rematch or what not. And remember that we is Bivol who won that fight and even if he is still the B-side if ever there will be a rematch, he can demand now or even not giving Canelo is rematch.

Exactly, there's no reason for Bivol to delay in making his own paths and legacy just wait for Canelo's rematch because for him, Canelo is already a past chapter in his life as he already defeated the pound-for-pound king. But hey, it's still not decided yet because there's a high chance that Canelo will activate that rematch if Bivol will win here, although Canelo's chance will remain slim, but he has nothing to lose in this division. Just a plain money fight with belt on the line, Bivol on the other hand won't have any choice but to accept.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 02, 2022, 02:26:21 PM

Is there a rumor about that why this fight didn't successfully execute this year?

The rumors are senseless, both camps are just blaming each other and we don't know who is telling the truth. What we like to see is this fight going to happen this year but until now there's no positive news, so let us stop expecting it's gonna happen this year or even next year as most likely one of them will move up in weight.

That is the problem right there because none of them is willing to disclose some information regarding on why the fight didn't materialize, we can speculate all we want on who is ducking who but we cannot prove it because all the information are kept behind the curtains. Honestly, we have had high hopes for this one that it would happen easily but the exact opposite happened.
Yes, no one is going to take the blame as why the fight didn't materialized, majority of us have been speculating that it was on the side of Spence, as if they are deliberately trying to stall and delay the fight and wait till Crawford gets old or be beaten.

On the other hand, Crawford did severe his tie with Bob Arum so that he can pursue this mega-fight. And now that it didn't push through, we were wondering if that is the right move for him to go on his way with this negotiations or not.

If I were Crawford, I would really be open to the public on the exact whereabouts on the fight and the reveal the real reason on why the fight didn't materialize as people already expected it to happen. I wouldn't be taking the heat of criticisms and blame for sure because the people know that I'm so eager to make this fight happen and let the public know that Spence is truly ducking and playing the delay card over me.
