We have conducted a review of a payment that you received. In this case, returning the funds to the sender was determined to be the appropriate action, and we have completed a reversal of the payment.  Good selling practices like trackable shipping, prompt shipment, and communication between buyer and seller help prevent disputes.

The funds from the following transaction have been debited from your account:Transaction Date:  Jul 11, 2015 15:31:45 PDT
Transaction Amount:  $80.00 USD
Buyer's Email:  calebjlombardo@yahoo.com

did you get any other emails from paypal or anything prior to this? if you could post some screenshots of the paypal reversal charge it would help us see if this was indeed a chargeback or not. from this snippet of the email alone, it sounds like tradercal11 opened a dispute.
1722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DONT BE SCAMMED BY A LENDER THIS WAY on: July 20, 2015, 02:02:32 PM
I don't understand what you getting banned has to do with you not being able to repay though.

i tried to get that point across too, but you know, victim complex.
It looks like that the OP of your lending thread says that the max late fee would be 200% of the original repayment amount.

I also know that a common collection strategy is to negotiate and/or wave all or some late fees. I would think the chances of you recovering the loan would increase if you were willing to reduce the late charges.

I also don't see where the OP agreed to pay late charges nor do I see where he acknowledged your late fee policy.

true, i did put some arbitrary numbers in there, and didnt think to really change it since my thread gets very little traffic; ill change it in a second i suppose. however, it was goldkey0070 that proposed the loan terms (0.005 loan, 0.01 repayment) .

I also know that a common collection strategy is to negotiate and/or wave all or some late fees. I would think the chances of you recovering the loan would increase if you were willing to reduce the late charges.
i really doubt he has any intention to repay anyways, but ill settle for the original agreement of a 0.01 repayment, the original address is still valid.

I also don't see where the OP agreed to pay late charges nor do I see where he acknowledged your late fee policy.
i assumed people would read the op and agree to these terms when taking out a loan, but thanks for pointing that out, ill be sure to keep that in mind for the future.

-

goldkey0070 is late in repaying his/her loan, negative feedback will be stay until the loan is repaid in full with a 10% late fee. (total to be repaid 0.011)

edit: last online: today, no messages to update after i sent a message, assuming goldkey0070 has scammed. leaving negative feedback on this guy would be appreciated.
@Substrata, thats a huge late fee being charged, that's a bit steep. Your move goldkey0070.

didnt know it was that steep a fee, im just going to do away with late fees, its a hassle to keep track of anyways.
1723  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: loan defaulter/scammer goldkey0070 on: July 20, 2015, 01:54:53 PM
Damn this guy. Hope you got a good laugh out of this. I did. Anyway, why not archive the thread with archive.com/web? Much easier and you won't have to deal with people saying you created fake screenshots. Tongue

i think you mean archive.is buddy, that website you provided links me to some domain purchasing service. also, i couldnt archive the thread because he deleted the posts before i decided to make this thread, which was right after he sent me the second pm (in all caps of course, nothing less.) and i just wanted to see him angrier with the inevitable addition of more negative trust.

Hope you got a good laugh out of this.

you dont even know

This post has me interested.
Before going much further I would like to see some transaction log history of the loan and if it was posted for public knowledge.
This is a big accusation against Substrata and i don't want to take anyones side, just don't like seeing people getting burned either.
Post the loan tx and bct logs so we know what were dealing with.

no, take a read at this and start laughing. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1128844.msg11923904#msg11923904

this guy is delusional and is accusing me of paying off the mods to ban him or something. he was actually banned for insubstantial, spammy posts. also, exactly what are you accusing me of scamming you for? im actually laughing right now at how delusional you are with the victim complex and everything.

edit

in fact let me fill you in because i have some time.

repayment address conveniently linked to blockchain for your convenience: https://blockchain.info/address/14WwXKA1yWk7u5odEBdHY4ZYwSNJRhRhrt

not a single repayment or transaction of 0.01 to that address; i kept it unused for quite a while until i was 100% sure he wouldnt repay.

Why, but seriously why is it writed with capslock? I really want to read it but I can't. I fyou want to be serious just rewrite it to normal text. I know, you are angry but try to control your emotions.

im 85% sure hes just trolling at this point, accusing the mods of  conspiracy against him over nothing? really now.

O...finally I got why the signed message is useful now.

Still thinking about the how my Lending going to act,
It is difficult to start with, and also there is already lot of members are providing this service,
seems like a very hard task to gain a profit... Roll Eyes

well youre going to be making very small amounts off lending anyways, its not a good thing if youre thinking about making money. i provide my lending services in the case i have spare funds and if any other lender is offline/otherwise unavailable.

actually I am looking for some web to invest, however, seems like most of them are Ponzi style,
which seems like a bit risky, therefore, I came up with an idea to earn in Lending section,
but it is a hard task either Undecided

yeah it is hard to lend bitcoin these days especially with all the scammers who would scam you for a penny !
but you know well earning money is not supposed to be an easy task [usually]

unfortunately, i think this is a result of bitcoin becoming more and more mainstream/popular, and as people learn that "free bitcoin" can be acquired from faucets, ptc sites, etc, they get greedier and greedier and start wanting more, and eventually end up scamming to do so. thinking "its completely anonymous they'll never figure out its me."

in addition, there's people like this guy too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1128873.0
i actually cant stop laughing at this.

And there are already so much people offering loans, so you hardly will make a deal

true, there are many lenders here already, but its always welcome for others to join in. if everyone else is offline, the smaller loaners can provide the lending services in their stead.

i can not register on YOBIT
no confirmation email
lol

im assuming youre trying to register so you can enroll in their signature campaign correct? it might be an issue with the email service youre using (aim, yahoo, gmail, msn, etc), first, check your spam folder, and if that doesnt work, try signing up under a different email service and registering.
1728  Economy / Scam Accusations / loan defaulter/scammer goldkey0070 on: July 20, 2015, 12:39:08 PM
the user goldkey0070 took out a loan from my thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1083166.0

the user has decided to delete his posts, but i believe the majority of the posts have been quoted in the thread at one time or another. i was content to just let it slide or whatever since TC already made his account red, but hes sending me annoying pms so ill just post this.

initial loan request quoted: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1083166.msg11599996#msg11599996
pretty much admits to it being a reputation loan: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1083166.msg11635833#msg11635833

at this point the user was apparently banned for a month because of his spammy, insubstantial posts (they were pretty insubstantial, i looked.), and was apparently unable to pay me back because he was banned (lmao).

quoting this from the thread; he sent me this pm as soon as he was unbanned or something
DEAR SUBSTATA, UNFORTUNATELY THE DAY AFTER I GOT THE 500,000 SATOSHI LOAN FROM YOU I WAS BANNED FROM BITCOINTALK FOR 30 DAYS. I WAS UNABLE TO POST MESSAGES OR PRIVATE MESSAGES.. SOMETHING TO DO WITH INSUBSTANTIAL POSTS  WHICH I'M STARTING TO THINK THIS FORUM IS MORALIZED MY NAZI'S ,I SAW YOU ADDED A 10% INCREASE ON MY LOAN WHICH WAS NOT DISCUSSED WITH ME ON THE TERMS, YOU NEVER SAID PAY YOU BACK DOUBLE  I JUST FIGURED I WOULD OFFER THAT FOR GOOD BUSINESS AND YOU AGREED .THE FACT YOU HAD OTHER PEOPLE GO ON MY TRUST LEDGER  AND LIE AND SAY I DIDN'T PAY THEM BACK AS WELL SHOWS ME YOU ARE SOMEONE I WOULD NOT DO BIZ WITH AGAIN .  I DON'T LIE CHEAT OR STEAL AND WITHOUT INVESTIGATING WHY I WAS NOT RESPONDING AND JUST ADDING MORE CHARGES AND HAVING OTHER PEOPLE LIE ABOUT ME NOT PAYING THEM AS WELL IS WELL,  DISGUSTING  ...OVER 500,000 SATOSHI . TO BE HONEST I WAS BORED AND WANTED POSITIVE FEEDBACK THAT'S WHY I TOOK THE LOAN .INSTEAD I FOUND A WORLD OF SHARKS AND AND LIARS...I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF I WAS BANNED ON PURPOSE TO NOT PAY THE LOAN BACK IN TIME...THE REASON AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME JUST SEEMS TO FIT THE SCAM.

well look who decided to show up. since you calling me a scammer for some reason ill make this public.

DEAR SUBSTATA, UNFORTUNATELY THE DAY AFTER I GOT THE 500,000 SATOSHI LOAN FROM YOU I WAS BANNED FROM BITCOINTALK FOR 30 DAYS. I WAS UNABLE TO POST MESSAGES OR PRIVATE MESSAGES..

nothing stopped you from making a thread in meta about your ban and maybe i would have noticed it, and there was nothing stopping you from creating a newbie account just to send me a pm saying you were banned, and ask for an extension which im sure the mods would allow a pm.

SOMETHING TO DO WITH INSUBSTANTIAL POSTS

yeah i skimmed your post history, they was pretty insubstantial if you ask me.

WHICH I'M STARTING TO THINK THIS FORUM IS MORALIZED MY NAZI'S ,

the nazi regime of germany/europe ended decades ago. there is the neo-nazi group nowadays, but thats irrelavent.

I SAW YOU ADDED A 10% INCREASE ON MY LOAN WHICH WAS NOT DISCUSSED WITH ME ON THE TERMS

you ask me for a loan , you agree to the terms in my op post. you dont make the rules.

YOU NEVER SAID PAY YOU BACK DOUBLE  I JUST FIGURED I WOULD OFFER THAT FOR GOOD BUSINESS AND YOU AGREED .

yeah.. you offered to pay back double and i agreed, whats your point? you proposed some conditions, you should stick to your own words at the very least. did you even intend to pay back what you agreed to in the first place?

THE FACT YOU HAD OTHER PEOPLE GO ON MY TRUST LEDGER  AND LIE AND SAY I DIDN'T PAY THEM BACK AS WELL SHOWS ME YOU ARE SOMEONE I WOULD NOT DO BIZ WITH AGAIN .

how were they lying? you didnt pay me back.i kept the repayment address unused for quite some time, and there is not a single transaction of 0.01 or 0.011 to that address. you didnt pay it back. no one's making you take loans from me, feel free not to. its not like youre getting a loan from me or anyone else after this.

INSTEAD I FOUND A WORLD OF SHARKS AND AND LIARS...I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF I WAS BANNED ON PURPOSE TO NOT PAY THE LOAN BACK IN TIME...THE REASON AND THE AMOUNT OF TIME JUST SEEMS TO FIT THE SCAM.

youre the one who proposed you undertake the loan shark rate of 100%. and are you really saying im working something with the admins and mods behind the scenes to get you banned and calling that a scam? since when did i get something out of this? you getting banned is your own fault, your posts ranged in the area of 5-7 words per post and were insubstantial by anyone's standards. youre delusional and childish. also, you admitted to taking out a loan just for the rep, dont even try to play the victim here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=423785

I also got this just now:

OBVIOUSLY YOU DON'T GIVE A SHIT SO NEITHER DO I   !!

BY THE WAY I TRIED TO MAKE ANOTHER ACCOUNT BUT COULD NOT WITH MY IP
BECAUSE OF YOUR OVERJOYED NICE PERSONALITY AND FRIENDLY AND ALL WHICH IS -10, I WILL HAPPILY KEEP THE LOUSY 500,000 SATOSHI  LOL....  I LOL BECAUSE 500,000 IS SO PETTY IT'S STUPID BUT IN THE END I THINK I CAME OUT ON TOP.....IF YOU WOULD HAVE JUST NEGOTIATED  I WOULD HAVE PAYED YOU BUT INSTEAD WELL,  GOOD DAY SIR !!!

so i actually dont know if being banned blocks your ip from creating a newbie account, but im assuming its bullshit.

scammer's profile link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=423785

BUT IN THE END I THINK I CAME OUT ON TOP
"i scammed you for a dollar lol i came out ahead"

this is actualy hilarious, how this guy's thinking the moderators were out to get him and were involved in "scamming" him for nothing. the victim complex.

Site is slow, faucet not working.
Look is good, or I may say carbon copy of Primedice, let's hope this one doesn't get away with users' funds like some sites did in past.

its not a copy of primedice, the site is using the coindice script, which is riddled with various problems all across the code. i doubt people aware of that will even bother to test out the site.

I mean even if it didnt have any problems or bugs i doubt people would use it anyways, i mean what's the point of creating new dice sites now when there are already plenty trusted dice sites that offer the exact same thing and is not like you can offer or make many new features in a dice site anyways.

even if there are plenty of already trusted dice sites, dice remains the simplest and easiest game to both implement and for players to understand. as bitcoin becomes more and more popular, its gambling aspect will become known to more developers who aim to get a slice of the cake into the gambling scene. besides, competition is good, and i think it prevents the complete monopoly of a few sites.

CoinWorker:

Earn Bitcoins by completing analytical tasks. A user account is required here.

looks like its one of those get paid to sites, but honestly the reward for the work you put into completing those tasks simply isnt worth it imo, and your time could be spent much more efficiently in terms of earning.

i agree all the task offering websites that i have seen so far pay too little in comparison with the time you have to invest in doing the task. and they pay a little more than faucets!

that's because, iirc, those tasks are put out by other people most of the time, bot by the site itself. the site only takes a percentage cut from the payments made to the users, and to give an incentive for people to actually complete these monotonous tasks, the pay offered by those who put up the tasks are usually barely enough to persuade some users to complete them.

well that's a given with -EV. in addition, most people using a autobet bot are using martingale or some variant of it to achieve positive progression in their betting profits. however, martingale is known to fail more often than not.

the rates here are comparable to that of loan sharks (10% a week beats any investment on wall street by a large margin), but the problem is that these loans are usually in the range of 0.03 - 0.1 BTC. you wont multiply your money like you might hope, but in the grand scheme of things, youre making a good percentage of your loaned money as profit, its just youre lending so little anyways that it doesnt seem like much at all.
1734  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How much do escrows get paid? on: July 20, 2015, 07:32:56 AM
I would say that I make somewhere between .15 and .3 BTC per month handling escrows. Maybe a little bit more, probably not less. That is based on my minimum fee of .0075 per transaction and charging 1% of any bitcoin held. This would include the occasional tip that I receive for my services, although, most commonly all that I receive is the fee that I charge. I am not sure how often the escrows that offer their services for free/tips receive any kind of tips.

The vast majority of transactions go smoothly and have no disputes, and as a result the most difficult part of the transaction is writing up the escrow agreement, however most trades are standard enough so that templates can be used for the majority of escrow agreements.

Running escrow is far from a full time job, although the per hour payment for the work involved in acting as escrow is going to be far above of someone flipping burgers at a fast food restaurant, even at somewhere where the liberals have made the minimum wage $15 per hour.

id like to ask, around how many escrow requests do you get in a month on average given your reputation on the forum?
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: July 20, 2015, 07:30:14 AM
This poll is not really accurate since the price is BTC is constantely changing. It would be better if you related it to the US dollar.

Also some people could be poor and some rich, and 1 BTC means different values to different financial situations.

this is a bitcoin forum though, and BTC gambled is BTC gambled in the end, i dont really see a problem with it.
1736  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 2$ as loan collateral is my payzaa account loaded with 2.35$ on: July 20, 2015, 07:23:04 AM
Hi, I need a Loan of 2$ means 0.007 BTC as loan, i will put my payzaa account loaded with 2.35$ in it as collateral. So please offer me if any person is interested for giving me a Loan. Repayment is by August 1st with 0.01 BTC. So let me know if any person is interested in offering me loan.

I don't think most users here will want to take your Payza account as collateral - if I'm not mistaken, it wouldn't be particularly hard for you to recover it later, if you so desired.

that, and dont even try to pull off the "im not going to scam for 2 dollars lol" card either, people have tried to scam here (and quite blatantly) for less with the same excuses and invalid types of collateral.

Thank you for your advice!
Can u please tell me the risks. I have studied  already the difficulty rise and drops and all the pools.
we have a very cheap electricity and no other expenses; )

The risk is that you disappear after you get the money, never to be heard from again. To eliminate this risk, the lender could buy the AntMiner S5 units and mine coins for himself. After a period of time (6-7 months) the units should be paid off, at which point he would ship the units to you for free. That way there is no risk and everybody gets what they want. However, I strongly suspect that isn't what you really want.

I totally can understand this concern.

Can you suggest me what I can do to prove my legitimacy  and honesty to you guys.

Thx

nothing aside from appropriate collateral will get you anything on this forum, especially considering what is your probably alt account said they "trust you 100%" but has received negative feedback already for attempting a reputation loan or something. if you think fake references can get you a donation here like on btcjam, you are very, very wrong.
