This smart contract gambling sounds complicated for us simple minded gambling folks....

Buy Bitcoin  Cool

Not really. You just need to get basic understanding. All transactions are transparent and could be seen. The best thing about smart-contract is that nothing could be cancelled. Just check this fresh post and tons of others. Bookies do whatever they want if you are succesful. Beaty of smart-contract is that it is independent from people after deployment.  Smiley

I'm confused
all I know there is nothing in my wallets Sad I might have mixed the transactions up though
I don't wanna make any false accusations, just not very literate with how the smart contracts work
well the good thing now I will take time and educate myself on this properly Smiley I do not use ETH alot as you can see
p.s. seems that holytransaction crappy wallet doesn't credit coins from smart contracts
it did happily send coins to a smart contract though, charging outlandish fees
1742  Economy / Gambling / Re: Doubling your bitcoin every 3 months with sports betting on: October 09, 2018, 04:47:06 PM
it is impressive , to say the least
I loved the part about picking skills - this is the most important thing in gambling
you can be a god of bank management, but if you do not get the results right it is worth 0
usually, doubling bankroll in a year is considered amazing and there are very few capers who can boast that
I mean if you can double bankroll in 3 months, you should quit your job and start gambling for life
but come back in a year and lets see if your "picking skills" are good still, also it is very easy to post logs in hindsight
if you were to start a topic here and post some of your picks and assign units to them ,this would have been really helpful and interesting

my addy was 0x0C86Ef5DF22a555b3f7B490Cc62748FCB6dB153a I think
tx id:https://etherscan.io/tx/0xbfb75409309625f582b38b985caa64b3b898007848908350951c91bf4e6103c2
pretty sure I didn't receive anything back although it was a winning bet

As I wrote, you should check "internal transaction" tab.

Transaction Id https://etherscan.io/address/0x0C86Ef5DF22a555b3f7B490Cc62748FCB6dB153a#internaltx

You received 0.010444289513685862 Ether back. This is smart-contract transactions so they are showed at "internal transactions" tab.

again I didn't recieve anything back
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x8fde678731fbfeb81eecc8965bc9bf9df20717f4614f4d7a6152d0ac40875e14

as you can see there is nothing returning to my wallet :
https://etherscan.io/address/0x0c86ef5df22a555b3f7b490cc62748fcb6db153a
it is not a big deal since it wasn't my money first place, just that the contract wasn't executed properly
unless I'm missing something (besides the 0.01 eth in my wallet Smiley   )
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoBet.to | Transparent Ethereum Betting powered with Smart-Contracts on: October 08, 2018, 04:43:52 PM
no winners received anything, as I said there are no outgoing transactions from the smart contract address
so something has gone wrong, maybe admin could find a minute and shed some light on it
the site itself is not updated , it features the fight still , also come think of it
focusing on just one event even if its a big fight won't make you much money
even with the free promotions the total bet was around 2.4 eth , so commission is going to be low

Hey, probably you are looking for the wrong tab at etherscan. You should inspect "internal transactions" tab. All bets are paid back.

What was your address?

1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites with auto-play or a place where I can use script. on: October 08, 2018, 08:56:38 AM
the sites that you can use scripts at 100% in my experience are:
bustadice
bitsler
cryptogames
primedice
stake

pretty sure you can use scripts on sites like yolodice or bitvest too
basically any site that allows API access you can use betting bots or betting scripts
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: October 08, 2018, 08:37:24 AM
So my question is: What makes you choose the particular Dice platform and what are the most important aspects that makes you stay on it?

On-chain provably fair platforms are preferred over anything else.

I don't think so
if you have a look at traditional off-chain account type games and on-chain betting platforms
the number of players is simply incomparable, on-chain games are losing hands down
there are many reasons to that, the main ones: slow result resolution, fees for every bet you make, much less trusted platforms to bet at
1747  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitSport.io - Blockchain/AI enabled eSports Betting Platform - FREE 10 BTP NOW! on: October 07, 2018, 03:42:25 PM
The website looks pretty nice, but since you are selling tokens, perhaps you should make an ANN thread in Tokens Childboard of Altcoin Section. You also have a typo on an image in the website. "opreations" in Use of funds instead of "operations". Your project looks more like ICO than like a casino. It's good there's a nice ans short briefpaper, but a normal length whitepaper should probably be there as well. The Bitsport casino looks fine, but it's weird to see that racing, soccer and other sections are just blank. I think there should be upcoming events listed there and an option to choose a date can assist in case there are too many events.

it looks nice but when you register and try to pick an event (soccer in my case)
the page displays nothing, tried soccer and European league soccer
what is the purpose of a bookie that lists nothing but fantasy or e-sports and even that is severely lacking compared to other bookies
tokens cannot be exchanged to btc for some reason , even if the 10 BTP tokens worth almost nothing- 4500 satoshi or something
and yeah this is an ICO so it does look like an ICO Smiley

Sorry forgot Cheesy

Sent you 0.011 ETH

I just checked his address, and what you sent is still there means that he is not using your promo properly to try your service. I'm not really sure but maybe he forgot to place the bet on khabib which is absolutely unfortunate as he could win some more free eth.
How about the winners? Have they received their winning? Since your first event is finished already so when will you add more event as what you have said previously?

no winners received anything, as I said there are no outgoing transactions from the smart contract address
so something has gone wrong, maybe admin could find a minute and shed some light on it

1749  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE - 🎲🎲🎲 New Version Coming Soon! 🎰🎰🎰 on: October 07, 2018, 01:38:20 PM
Awesome news for all BitDice users, I knew we had to wait, but I didn't think we'd actually see it so soon to be honest! Me and a lot of people will be waiting to see the sportsbook, and compare odds as above was saying, but some of us who are already using BD maybe won't really mind odds differences if they are small but if there are many different lines, that could be the one thing that makes us try out the book. More competition means better odds for everyone. 13 days and counting!

excited to see what the new update is going to be like
especially excited for the sports bet introduction, this is going to be awesome if more trusted sites have sports betting without KYC or any gimmicks
betking, now bitdice and stake in the future
hope the odds are going to be competetive and the events selection good
will surely check it out in two weeks and ,hopefully, have bitdice as my fav place for sportsbetting
1750  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, fair, BTC, LTC, ETH on: October 07, 2018, 10:46:23 AM
All time biggest win in YOLOdice history.

15.34526660BTC = 100498.29 USD

I won't be original: this win is epic!
100.000$ usd in one click of a button, also I see that yolodice's max bet has been growing steadily
it is over 16 bitcoins as of now even if this lucky winner has dented the site's bankroll just a tiny bit  Cheesy
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2018-10-05] Vitalik Buterin: ĢI think Ethereum Can Absolutely Survive Meģ on: October 07, 2018, 07:30:57 AM
Recently, Buterin even admitted the possibility that ethereum could fall in price to zero. Perhaps this was one of the reasons because of which this coin went down in value. Here, at least, he expresses the opinion that this coin will live without its participation. In general, this will not give ethereum popularity if he leaves his project.

etherium price fell not because of Buterin admitting the possibility of it  fall to zero
but because of the cryptomarket shrinking and because etherium was overvalued, among many other reasons
I can agree to ETH not gaining additional popularity if Vitalik "leaves" the project, but at the moment he is doing to etherium same things
as Ilon Mask is doing for Tesla Smiley so I am not sure which option is worse
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▶▶ CryptoBet.to ◀◀ Transparent Ethereum Betting powered with ▶ Smart-Contracts ◀ on: October 07, 2018, 07:04:10 AM
so, the fight is over
Khabib demolished McGregor as predicted
but I don't see the contract resolved- the addy doesn't have any outgoing transactions at all
wonder what sets the contract's execution off, it could be a no event or how does it pick a winner after all?
could not find it in the contract itself: https://etherscan.io/address/0x2C101930fCCCC867141Bf653B962aCED709aA8Cf#readContract
1753  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-10-05] ICOshock - How Thailand effectively killed the local ICO market on: October 06, 2018, 08:18:20 PM
Approximately the same rules for ICO are being prepared now in Russia. There you also need to first have a certain amount in the bank, all calculations, including fundraising during the ICO, must pass through the bank and a special state structure will control the targeted use of funds collected during the ICO even after it ends. The rules are tough, but this will completely eliminate the possibility of fraud. There it will be impossible to run away with the collected funds, since they will be in the bank under the control of state bodies.

yup although it may seem that the rules in Thailand or Russia have killed the ICO market
in reality it will get rid of all the useless , no-idea-behind semi scam ICO's that are only being created to run away with the money
in this scenario it is much harder to run away with the money, at least you got to invest something upfront before creating an ICO
thus, yeah this will pave the way to the legitimate ICOs (although the whole tokens/ico idea has been dragged into dirt so much that soon I will treat ICOs same way I treat HYIPs)
won't do too much to protect the investors from the countries ,but at least if you see its a Thai ICO you can be more or less sure it is not your 100% scammy bs tokens without a substance

ah, looks who is concerned- a Ripple Swell conference speaker Bill Clinton
rock against drugs, bees against honey, ripple against identity poltics
the centralized pseudo-cryptocoin Ripple is what symbolizes banking and identity checks first place
but Bill Clinton has gotten bitcoins, so he is pro-blockchain and our man  Grin

This decision can result in a similar situation LTC is facing after its creator detached himself from the currency. The only difference is that Charlie did it when LTC was mooning and Vitalik is doing it when ETH is low.
I think that holding significant amounts of the currency and being actively involved in the project by the founders doesn't have to be a bad influence. These projects have managed to stay afloat for many years and keep breaking previous highs with them onboard.

yes, you may want to add Dogecoin to the list
now that the development is almost non-existent , dgc is a huge pump and dump top 50 coin  Tongue
Vitalik might have other projects in mind if he suddenly is talking about detaching himself from Ether?
it will not collapse without him for sure, but I would not trust my money to some semi-abandoned coin that is also challenged by some new, promising upstarts
that have pretty much same potential and features, like NEO, for example
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: October 06, 2018, 01:58:16 PM
the design, the withdrawal time (instant, automatic) and the community (must have some sort of chat)

And good GIF's  Cool

oh god,how I hate the GIFs
this makes me wanna close chat 99.9% of the time
and chat is 79.23% of the reason I play Smiley
duckdice and now dice-bet too , et tu ,Brute  Cry
at least have an option to not display them GIFs in settings, please
1757  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to win in Freebitco.in on: October 05, 2018, 08:00:43 PM
I gave up on this site since I lost 15 in a row on 1.5 (63,33%)

15 in a row on 1.5x is harsh but not impossible to get
I got 14 in a row on a regular 1% house edge sites multiple times,never a 15 in a row though
this is how the chances to roll it look like:

basically you have a good chance to roll it once every 10.000.000 rolls  or so
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Perfect Dice experience on: October 05, 2018, 07:39:55 PM
I don't think people really care about the game, the basic stuff with Bitcoin gambling is what's important to us... is the gaming fair, and will we have problems getting our money when we withdraw?

But okay, with dice, it's quite easy. We love autobets, so speed is a factor, and if full speed is given only at high amounts, I don't play. Yes I'm cheap but hey I play all the time and just with pocket money so don't judge;)

Dice edge for BTC is always 1% in the industry, so anything more than that and it's not attractive.

If people do not care about the game then they do not bothering to find any good dice site to play anymore. But until this days people are tend to find good site with good reputation of course instead of getting provably fair and smooth withdrawal. So everything is matters when it comes to gambling though, even tiny little thing still have any affect on the game too

people care about where they gamble
and as the time passes they become more and more choosy and spoiled for choice
4-5 years ago you just could barely find a place to gamble away your hard earned satoshi
when Primedice entered the market and kinda set the industry standard for the dice sites
and since then many good quality sites appeared and the more of them open, the better-competition is one of the things that drives the progress forward
1759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Organized Crime on: October 05, 2018, 05:06:03 PM
Has bitcoin become the preferred payment method of organized crime groups?
Lol,quite a funny one, Judas sold Jesus Christ for 12 pieces of silver, one of the highest crimes till date, and up till now silver is still precious and it's popularity hasn't waned

If bitcoin can be used as payment for more crimes in exchange for far more popularity, acceptability and stability,i think more payments should definitely be made Grin

Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces, know your Bible
and the "bitcoin is the preferred payment of organized crime" has been debunked ages ago
it dwarves in comparison to USD in terms of volumes, hell in every aspect there is
the thing is that bitcoin is a relative novelty and anything that happens to it crime related immediately makes the news
while there are millions of dollars stolen and paid in ransoms, bribes etc. daily that nobody really cares about
1760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung says that smartphones are the safest way to store cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2018, 02:54:36 PM
all Samsung wants is to sell more of his products Smiley
smartphones might be a good way to store cryptocurrencies but not for everyone and in every scenario
for a day to day use and small change it is very convenient and easy
but will you ever trust several bitcoins to your smartphone? I highly doubt that
but for Samsung this statement is just another PR action and a marketing move, so well played
