1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New thread for self-funded projects on: December 09, 2019, 02:10:39 PM
Hello

So nowadays less and less people trust ICO projects due to their past of scams and false promises. I would like to support projects that are self-funded and work day and night in order to make their project succeed.

I would suggest that we open a topic for self-funded projects where investors and members that would be interested can invest or at least check the project.

Self-funded projects do not have unlimited funds for marketing and promoting themselves like ICO's. Why not help them with project awareness?

After all, we all want to avoid scammers and unprofitable investments. I'm not sure if this is within forum rules tho.. (advertising projects)

Please tell me what you think, or if mods allow you can share self-funded project in the comments.

Thanks for your opinion in advance.
Self funded projects are good in my opinion! but just be sure it has a true use case with real world application, because if it has no use case at all, it was the same as others, maybe it will become pump and dump scheme or a useless token. self funded projects with real world use case has a better chance to create demands and drive its token price higher, fluctuation would be minimal since no ICO tokens will be dump.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 08, 2019, 02:35:02 PM
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

your thoughts
You cant blame them for that reason, maybe they have a bad experiences with those altcoins that resulting in generalization of personal judgement. I also believe that not all altcoins are bad, some are indeed bad but not all of them some are good and has created for a purpose to solve a problem in the mainstream arena. everyone is entitled with their own opinion. so we should respect that.
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: December 08, 2019, 02:21:30 PM
Probably scammers are hurting the entire cryptocurrency industry, But if we look at closely in the crypto industry including its function, the privacy and anonymity is the main reason why scams and fraud persist because most projects are insisting that cryptocurrency is promoting privacy including anonymity. that's why hiding their true identity in the name of privacy is the most common thing in 2017-2018 ICO hype. in order to correct this regulation must be impose in all ICO's today.
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bites The Dust? on: December 07, 2019, 03:40:57 PM
Does anyone have any news on Ether Delta? It seems that it hasn't been fully operational for a while and now it's coming up as a 502 Gateway Error. Any news let us know.
EtherDelta is not active anymore, But forkdelta was still good and operational, in the previous months like in september respectively the DEX is struggling to support its operational cost that's why the people behind forkdelta was asking for help and the users response and raised more that 1K DAI it means forkdelta has more users til these time. i personally use it for ERC20 token bargain hunting.
1745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Telegram Auto - Scam software on: December 07, 2019, 03:31:31 PM
Thanks for your awareness but i think its better to accompanied with proof of evidence so that we all know whats the problem why its was a scam, pointing fingers is not good that's why you should complete your accusation with proof of evidence.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 06, 2019, 02:43:05 PM
There are thousands of altcoins listed on CMC. We had a little bit conversation between my friends. He was saying, only 30-35 altcoins can be useable in blockchain industry in future. Rest of them will be dying for sure. What do you think? What are the points to choose of a coin that might have a bright future? Only use case is the main thing or you will add other? Thanks
I think it much higher than that! The 30-35 altcoins was too low since altcoins are the dominate number of coins in the market, out of the thousands altcoins that exist maybe 200-300 altcoins that has a true use case, including the real world application. I think the rest are just pump and dump project, or mostly copycats from other existing projects.like payments, smart contracts etc. there are bunch of copycats altcoins in the market today.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things to know about ICOs before you invest in them on: December 06, 2019, 07:56:34 AM
The very potentials of ICO as a fundraising tool was already achieve. But due to fraudulent activities by some greedy people the trust in ICO's was slowly fading away, and giving the room to the new fundraising method called IEO.  In my case i was already scam three times in ICO. that resulting of losing my hard earned money. that's why these time i'm very careful in terms of choosing a project to invest.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After IDAX, now Dash? on: December 05, 2019, 09:56:51 AM
Another bad news in the crypto industry, dash being a top cryptocurrency in the market was victimized by its own "anonymous" advisor sounds disturbing, I'm hoping that it will not bring any doubt and much damage in the crypto industry i don't like these kind of situation nowadays too many bad incidents that was giving negative publicity to the entire crypto industry.
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: UNFAIR TREATMENT OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS on: December 05, 2019, 08:17:08 AM
It is so unfortunate the kind of bad treatment unleashed to the bounty hunters by the project team in the recent days. Hunters are treated lesser than beggars by the team despite working days and nights in promotion of the project to its success.
Most teams forget that the work of the hunters is responsible for bringing the investors which contribute fund to finance the project. The team instruct the bounty manager to change the bounty rules unfavorably to hunters hiding under the rule that they have the right to change the rule as they are pleased. The expend the bounty duration without increasing the bounty pool. They delay the bounty distribution in fear of dumping which most of the time do not come from the hunters but from the investors who got outrageous bonus on their investments or the team members who doubts the objectives of the project.

The bounty hunters has to find a way to stop this unfair treatment as it is already becoming unbearable.
Unfortunately that was the new norms, of doing some bounty campaigns nowadays that's why if you choose to stay and continue to promote projects through bounties, just make sure that you choose those friendly projects that fairly treated each and everyone including bounty hunters im sure there is some good and honest bounties out there. choose for the better avoid those bounties that you feel its unfair to everyone.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sources of income? on: December 05, 2019, 07:57:56 AM
Besides trading, holding, and bounty hunting, what are your other sources of income in cryptocurrency?

Can you tell us about your profitable ways of earning cryptocurrencies nowadays?
Unfortunately my trading sessions are not profitable these days, i'm also joining some bounty campaigns but most campaigns are hardly to earned even a penny. all my holdings in 2018 was already sold at less fifty percent of its original value, I might say that its hard to earn in cryptocurrency nowadays. But i was still lucky that i never give up my work in a company.

Well thanks for sharing of your list! Honestly i already join on Emirex and PG Pay bounties but same as other said "that until the bounty is not yet finish we cant till anything about the outcome and to be consider it was the best, or otherwise it was already a liquid coin/token. Like Gold Stable Coin bounty which i'm wearing in my signature started in June 2019 until now it wasn't missed any payments to date, for me it was the best bounty in 2019 that i have joined you can directly exchange the Gold token into Eth,btc in its own marketplace, including other 5 exchanges.
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies are highly undervalued these days? on: December 04, 2019, 07:33:43 AM
There are many great cryptocurrencies on the market with powerful features that enables anyone to be financially free like never before. From privacy-oriented coins, to smart-contract platforms, there's a cryptocurrency for anyone. In this highly-volatile market, even the most prominent cryptocurrencies have suffered a massive decline in price. The top cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and even Litecoin may be highly undervalued these days. But there could be other good cryptocurrencies with limited supply and constant development that are highly undervalued too because people haven't noticed their true potential.

I'm starting to wonder, which cryptocurrencies on the market are highly undervalued these days? It's no secret that there are hundreds of altcoins on the market, each with their respective features. But not all of them are useful within the mainstream world. If there are other cryptocurrencies that are highly undervalued these, why do you believe them to be as such? Huh
It was already thousands of altcoins in the market today and its hard to find which altcoins is undervalued, But if i picked some of it i rather choose stellar XLM, Coti ,Credits Since i see that most of the price of this coins are still low despite of its mainstream usability. those coins are just picked for example, But i'm sure still many of altcoins that still undervalue till today besides of its true potentials.
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 04, 2019, 07:22:31 AM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now i decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to, if bull run ever comes i will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties i hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?
In my opinion, if you feel that mining is not profitable anymore then why did you remain in that field, cryptocurrency investment has many options, you can divert your funds to a profitable one in the case of your mining rig if you don't want to go back into crypto mining anymore it means that those rigs are no use at all so its better to sell it and use the funds for additional capital but the decision still yours you can do better judgement then stick to it.
1756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10.000 Euro longterm (2-3 years) - in what 2 altcoins should i invest? on: December 03, 2019, 06:26:10 AM
Hello,

if i had 10.000 Euro, in which 2 altcoins would you invest longterm (for the next 2-3 years)?

I thought about investing 5.000 Euro in Ethereum and 5.000 Euro in Iota, or do you find two other coins more reasonable?

Buddy if you want to invest in that size you should be the one or personally doing a little researched about the coin/token before you invest your 10K Euro, since if you continue listening to other peoples opinion or suggestion i'm sure they will give you also the coins/tokens that they are holding. in that case your opportunity to choose a promising coin/token base in your own knowledge and judgement will be discarded and that's not good because if ever the investment has become failure i'm sure blaming of each other will be follow and that's quite annoying.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Morgan Creek is Against The BTC Halving Popular Opinion. What do You think on: December 03, 2019, 05:16:29 AM
Bitcoin’s May 2020 block reward halving won’t affect price, says Morgan Creek.

"In a tweet on Dec. 1, Jason Williams, co-founder at digital asset fund Morgan Creek Digital, said that unlike many others, he believed markets would not move as a result of the halving next May".

https://cointelegraph.com/news/halving-will-be-non-event-for-btc-price-morgan-creek-digital-exec?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social
That's what people believes so lets respect that, each everyone of us have an opinion maybe its favorable or not, But for me personally I agree of Jason williams opinion because i believe also that halving of Bitcoin's Block reward cannot create or dictate any price momentum, since its not been supported any evidences so in short its just a plain speculation.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can this Be The Solution To The Incessant Exchange hacks? on: December 03, 2019, 05:03:44 AM
Hello friends I am of the opinion that exchanges should adopt the system of organising monthly bug bounty campaigns for their platforms with a juicy reward. Its better to pay $100k to bug hunters discovering vulnerabilities within the exchange than loosing over $40m in hacks just like Binance and Upbit. What do you guys think?
I think it was a good idea and some of the cryptocurrency exchange has been doing that already, But sometimes our impressions might go wrong since there were some other theories that some of the hacking incident was just fruit of conspiracy from insiders. for me there were a lot of angles to be consider before making any conclusion.
