1741  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: March 16, 2023, 04:58:12 PM
Seems like noone reads the rules of the thread. Maybe it's time to send a red message "hint hint"? I'm obviously not going to start tagging folks but I might consider a neutral even though I feel like neutral is a waste of effort.
Maybe it's not the time to conclude that anyone who violates the rules of this thread will get a neutral/red tag.
I tend to notice that the OP seems to fail to understand why the suggestion to lock this thread and create a new thread with self moderation is one of the best pieces of advice to prevent such things from recurring. OP should do it, or should I make one?
The OP should be the 1 to make a new thread since it's his idea. Making a new thread in your name IMO would be a dick move although the intention is good. Maybe send him a pm?
1742  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: March 16, 2023, 04:34:56 PM
I'm trying to count down from now and if you guys have time then take that time to review which of my posts are worthy of your opinion.
Just trying my best as I make posts on every one I make.

My Countdown to: Hero Member
Number of Merit(s): 36

But why are you rushing to do it if you have a little time to read the rules of this thread? You should at least have less than 25 merits to post your countdown in this thread, are you read that?
Seems like noone reads the rules of the thread. Maybe it's time to send a red message "hint hint"? I'm obviously not going to start tagging folks but I might consider a neutral even though I feel like neutral is a waste of effort.
1743  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 12:49:55 PM
Whether the forum decides to stop allowing mixers to advertise is not as important as should all mixers be considered illegal? Is every transaction ran through a mixer an illegal transaction? We all know that people use mixers for illegal activity but are all transactions a mixer incurs an illegal transaction? So, why are mixers needed? Legit question IMO. The days of privacy are basically over.

What about sinbad mixer, are they next?
1744  Other / Meta / Re: Should the forum stop advertising mixers? on: March 16, 2023, 11:33:34 AM
I would be a little worried if I was wearing the chipmixer signature as the US government and its laws will basically allow advertisers/celebrities to be charged in a court of law for advertising a service.

Look at FTX and the celebrities they're going after.

https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/ftx-crypto-investors-sue-founder-sam-bankman-fried-celebrity-promoters-rcna57453

Is it considered the same? I am not going to pretend to be a lawyer but looks like the government will try to make their point by any means necessary. Would theymos have to comply if the goverment steps in and asks for IPs of all who wore a chipmixer signature?

1745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 16, 2023, 11:02:21 AM
Basically you're saying you cannot make affiliate money because you don't know anyone who would deposit using your code? You do realize that that has nothing to do with who you know or where you live right? To make money from affiliate marketing you have to be good at marketing. You have to share your code in ways noone else has thought of.

Look at btcgosu for example. The guy is marketing and made a website. He offers all who have codes under him special rakeback deal, has special contests for his referrals, and does ok for himself I assume.

You can also look at your casino streamers. There are a lot of them who make money from affiliate marketing as well. Getting users to sign up under their code and play.

People think that simply sharing their code on a facebook group is going to make them rich, but if you only know poor people what are the odds they have money to waste gambling? You have to be innovative and think.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 15, 2023, 11:21:18 PM

I had a few bucks on gamdom so I took some favorites tonight. Red hot Lakers, Celtics, and the Heat. Lakers 7-3 in their last 10 and fighting for the playoffs. Boston 5-5 but playing the Timberwolves who are also 5-5 in their last 10, should be a good game. Miami is 5-5 in their last 10 but they're playing the recently suspended Ja Morants Grizzlies who have been struggling lately.

Pretty sure they are going to change the 1st tourney as the password posted isn't working. I'm sure icopress and cygan are already aware, but i'll pm ico on discord and inform them of the errors. Still a week so plenty of time to fix it.

I think they are working on that right now because there are two tournaments announced right now, both on the same day but with different hours. They must be doing some tests for sure. And the password doesn't work for any of the tournaments, and I think that's because they don't want the users to register until they have cleared the time and date.

Where did you get the password from?
Will the tournaments be available for Bitcointalk folks only via a special password or is it open to anyone?

And still looking forward to get the actual dates for these!
The password for the first game was located in the 1st post of this thread. Game 1 is supposed to be this weekend so if anyone plans on entering you might wanna get your deposit on the site.
1749  Other / Meta / Re: OgNasty is hacked!! on: March 15, 2023, 10:14:31 AM
Cheating in the pie contest and tagged. Now trying to call out a user for changing his password. What's next? It's perfectly fine for users to change their passwords from time to time. In fact, it's actually probably encouraged to do so to protect your account.
1750  Economy / Reputation / Re: Solosanz reputation on: March 14, 2023, 06:35:46 PM
I still don't understand why being a DT member should be a race some people will always want to contest for by all means even while bringing down or stepping on others reputation to fulfill their own interest, to me it makes no difference from being a regular member since it's not that you're getting paid or the likes for it, i believe some were already finding a means out of it while some struggle to join all because of recognition which you can apparently get when you're a quality poster on the forum.
It's a race if you have an agenda maybe. Some view DT as power. Power to bully, power to threaten, power being in the DT mafia, you have a scam you want to pull off, or power to bring out the real you. Sort of like they gotta be DT to share their personal opinions about a user without facing any drama.

None of that is actually true. You bully or threaten users, you face the possibility of being removed from DT. There is no actual DT mafia, there's just a group of people who have the same feelings on some issues. Every DT member does not agree on everything. Bringing out the real you doesn't need DT status to happen either. If you're an asshole or don't like someone you have the right to let them know. It doesn't have to be a public announcement or anything. People are not stupid on here, most aren't anyways. There are some super intelligent users roaming around this place and if they smell a scam, they'll call you out. DT or not.

Acted as escrow for a charity auction in my behalf. Handled everything as a professional, would recommend him for future escrow work if users needed 1. I left this feedback on Gazeta's profile after he helped with this CHARITY AUCTION on my behalf.
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > Millions of bonus monthly < on: March 14, 2023, 07:08:36 AM
stake pay 100k dollar everyday
bitsler pay 6k dollar for just 1 week contest

It's funny

Don't you see that you are making a fool of yourself?

You claim that stake pay better, but then you keep coming back to the Bitsler ANN thread. Why not just keep in the other thread and enjoy what you believe is a better casino?
What is keeping you around here?

Why do you keep checking on your Ex if you already parted separate ways?
Let him keep giving them a free bump lmao. Everyone can see he is a troll. Whether 1 casino has better promotions vs another is irrelevant. Real gamblers will probably be playing on both platforms and taking advantage of free money wherever they can.
1753  Economy / Services / Re: Need eye-catchy bitcointalk signature design for Punt.com $200 on: March 14, 2023, 05:58:40 AM
You could do a signature contest as well and get the top designers on the forum competing. Pick from all the designs and split the prize $150 for 1st $50 for 2nd or whatever suits you. I have included a couple examples of contests below. You can use the search function and find a few more if needed.

1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A costly gambling mistake on: March 14, 2023, 04:41:17 AM
The most popular mistake that newbies make with online casinos is avoiding the rules and regulations, not all online casinos will put up a warning sign on their first page and say 👇

"New users are welcome, please read our rules and regulation before making your first deposits"

You have to look for the website FAQ and go through it first, I have seen some newbies that avoid doing this has they ended up shooting themselves in the foot.

Some even start spreading FUD on the forum about these gambling platforms that did them wrong, not knowing that they are the ones at fault, they are guilty because they don't read the rules and regulations.
Honestly, how many people log in to a website and immediately go read the ToS? I'll bet it's less than 10% of a websites users. It's no different on any website either. It doesn't necessarily have to be a gambling platform. Bitcointalk has the same issues. Noone reads the rules and stickies and some find themselves banned fast.
1755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 12, 2023, 04:41:51 PM
It may depend on their license as to whether they are even allowed to display that message. Casinos with a fake license or no license may display that message to try to get users to deposit and then KYC any wd to keep the funds.

To me KYC is bullshit honestly. We make our crypto however we make it. We should be able to spend it however we want.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com 🔐 Icarus Poker Series | Discussion Thread ♠️♥️♣️♦️ on: March 12, 2023, 02:28:42 PM
we would have to look. today is already wednesday and if it should be the sunday on 05.03. then i would also be for that we then start a week later, so that we reach as many participants as possible in the time and these then for the said sunday do not plan anything

Probably there is no news about the poker series yet or? And then it means there will be no event this Sunday, March 12, too, right?

when the dates are fixed, we will post them in various betnomi/Icarus threads, so that everyone who is interested in our poker series will be informed Smiley

Sounds good. Will try to play one or two other Betnomi tournaments in the meantime to get familiar with the software.  Cool

The tourney is already announced in the lobby, but I think they will change the date as it said that tourneys must be on Sundays.
Pretty sure they are going to change the 1st tourney as the password posted isn't working. I'm sure icopress and cygan are already aware, but i'll pm ico on discord and inform them of the errors. Still a week so plenty of time to fix it.
1757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 12, 2023, 02:21:33 PM
You put yourself in a bad situation when you don't gamble in a controlled environment. Could get robbed, shot, stabbed, or just plain killed if you beat the wrong person. I wouldn't ever want to put my life at risk to make a few bets. Rather go to dinner with my wife or something.

1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 12, 2023, 12:16:52 PM

It's a well known fact that if you gamble a lot, you will most likely be a loser at it. Gambling is not a job for most. Yes there are some profitable sports bettors, poker players, and in rare cases blackjack/slots players. Overall though, a very high % of gamblers are down lifetime. Casinos know that the longer they can keep someone gambling, the better chance the house edge catches up and the player loses.
Only gamble what you can afford to lose and don't try to make it your job.
Those who choose gambling as a profession.  They can never progress in their life.  It is possible to get rich by gambling, but not everyone's luck is ready for it. Predictions for sports bettors can be made through the performance of teams in previous games, in which case predictions work most of the time.  So from here it is possible to win most of the time if one has good knowledge of sports. But gambling can never guarantee profit.  So everyone should have a fixed job.  and using gambling only as a form of entertainment
Predictions do not work most of the time. The name says it all. In order to be successful predicting sports you have to put in the time and effort along with doing tons of research to give yourself the best chance to be correct on your prediction.

My Countdown to member Rank
Number of Merit(s) left: 10

Lol, write right away that you don’t have enough 1000 merit to the next rank, why waste time on trifles. Play so big. Don't deny yourself anything. Cheesy
Bro you are a big user and I just started.  I am a very young user.  I am inspired by you.  People achieve great things from small things.  There is a saying that little sand is water.  Bigger creation from small.  So, inshAllah, one day I will be much bigger than this small one.  Thank you bro, I will not post here again until I prove myself and get merit.  I pray you grow up, thanks again.
Not that it's necessarily illegal, but I find it hilarious that you register 2 days ago and already found this thread looking for merit. Makes 1 wonder how new you actually are. An actual newbie would probably still be reading the rules of the forum and familiarizing himself. Good luck ranking up!!
@yahoo62278, Thank you for encouraging me.  But sir, someone like you breaks the heart rather than inspiring small users like us.  They don't tell us that one day I will be successful too.  Anyway, best of luck to you.  Please go further.
I kind of feel like the spirit in which this thread was created is being abused by alt accounts such as yourself. Alts are not illegal but this thread could serve as a merit farm for account sellers to rank their accounts up. Are you doing that? I'm not sure yet, but it's odd that you find this thread in 1 day and are worried about merit so quick. You haven't really tried to get merit on your own.
